Full Description of Event/Sighting: At approximately 9:30 p.m. on Saturday August 28, 2010 a group of eleven of us were having a get together in the back yard. The sky was so clear a tons of stars could be seen. My brother noticed just above the tree line about 200 yards away three bright red objects moving across the sky in some type of formation, and yelled for us to come look at them.
They were silent as the glided across the sky as far as we could see and as they moved across the sky, they suddenly raised into the sky upward unlike any planes we seen. Then three more appeared from the same location above the tree line in the same formation, almost triangle like moving faster as if they were trying to catch up with the first three as they did rapidly get closer. They all branched into different directions and seem to suddenly vanish into the atmosphere.
More came not in formation about six in cluster and moved fast raising so high so suddenly until they just seemed to vanish into the atmosphere. We were all in a state of awe just counting and watching. We heard a police siren and thought what is going on. Then more appeared in groups of two but now spread out as if they were trying to catch up and more so many moving across the sky. We counted 24 of them the 15 minutes that we watched.
They all raised rapidly once they got so high they just went different directions then seemed to just vanish into the atmosphere like rockets going up. Exactly like that, just gone. We were all just shock as we watched. A total of 24. They were to bright red to be normal planes, and moved so rapidly upward they glided across the sky along period the just up and gone. It was not cloudy so clear. Some of us recorded on our cell phones, mine is not easy to view.
We have no clue what they were and have Googled all morning to see if anybody else seen this. They had to have, considering Ste Rte 43 and I76 is right there. But we have seen nothing in the paper today (the day after) nothing on the news and nothing with Google or YouTube. We are still amazed this morning. What were they?
