On Sunday night, January 17, 2021 three hikers were rescued from the south side of Mount Arrowsmith on Sunday, with two women taken to hospital in Courtenay. Below is a link to a newspaper article about the hikers rescue.

Time: Evening.
Hello, I was searching the internet on who to contact and saw an old article with your email and thought I would try to contact you. Last night my husband and I watched from our yard for over 45 minutes as many "objects" that would suddenly appear and starting off as a small red light flying, then turned into bright what looked like burning objects that got bigger and bigger and would hover and move sideways, down and upwards.
Then they would continue to land in the same spot on Mount Arrowsmith (Vancouver Island) and would illuminate the forest as if on fire for a bit.
They then would totally disappear and this happened over and over again for the 45 minutes. We were trying to record and went on longer than that and there was zero noise every time not like the multiple helicopters and airplanes that fly over and shake our house on a daily bases.
I have videos and then pictures once they landed on the mountain where it looks like on fire. Please email or call me if you would like to discuss further.
