Germany Former Military Man Tells His Story Of Disk Shaped UFOs

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date: Around 1989

Dear Brian, This is a report told to me by a former military person who was stationed in Germany. Back around 1989, along with two military colleagues, he saw three oblong discords moving across the sky in broad daylight" in Germany. Having been trained to calculate aircraft speeds in the field, he and his colleagues estimated that the three craft traveled at 3000-5000 mph. He says they moved in pulse-like jumps of energy, nearly disappearing at some point in the pulse cycle.

Also, one of his military base-mates told my contact and his military friends about how he had been sent, circa 1984-86, to do daytime guard duty in a remote, desert area of the US Southwest. On one of his guard postings at a remote, empty stretch of road in the desert, he said he turned at one point and saw the ground open up and a fairly large disc (I think the quote was that it was at least 50 feet diameter, if not more) which rose up out of the ground and soared off, almost soundlessly, then the ground closed back up. Whether it was a retractable door, I cannot say.

Months after telling my (enlisted) contact and his (enlisted) military friends of the incident, the given soldier was arrested by his Army superiors and taken in on reportedly trumped up charges. He was never seen again. The story spread that he had hung himself while in Army prison, a story that his colleagues didn't buy. His case was marginally suspicious because he had acted almost like a kind of planted Intel. agent in the military, the kind who was suspected to report to officers about everything.

There were other paranormal incidents that further piqued my contact's colleagues on such subjects. Further complicating the case is the fact that my contact's military colleagues (all enlisted) had long been interested in anything that smacked of alien-related doings in the Army.

Their officers had been quiet, if not offish, on the subject. This was during a time when murder was the recourse for secrecy---before Disclosure was a household word, before Corso and so on. Hence, the uniformed disposition was typically repressive and cold. I can give you the person's email address if you like.

Thank you to the gentleman for this interesting story.

A UFO Experience At Mt. Laguna AFS

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Brian, Enjoy reading your articles and thought I should "chime" in on the following: Re: There were also some guys who did a night time "Close Air Support" drill at Yuma Marine Air Base in Arizona who told me a great UFO Story.

If any of you who actually experienced that sighting and are reading this, please relay your story.

I had an experience while in the U.S. Air Force stationed at Mt. Laguna AFS which might be related to the above. The 751st Radar Squadron was located about 12 miles north east of Pine Valley California on the edge of the desert and mountains at about 6,000 feet elevation. The time period was in the mid 1960s, probably 1965, in the mid summer evening about 20:00.

Still light and clear skies and from that height over the clear dry desert you could sometimes see the Salton Sea. I was walking over to the "Ops" building from the AN-FPS-26 tower just as one of the "ops" officers was arriving.

He was looking east out over the desert and pointed to a light about the size of a green pea held at arms length. He asked me what did I think it was. I initially thought it was a naval military aircraft flying out in the area of the El Centro Naval Air Station which was in that direction about 45 miles east, and in the line-of-sight of Yuma, Arizona.

After about 30 seconds, the light started to strobe and change colors with green, blue, red, white and yellow. Then I didn't think it was a Navy plane because I would only expect to see green and red position lights and landing lights. I don't know if strobe lights and a white tail light were required at that time for aircraft.

I do know that Blue and Yellow were colors in the unknowns changing light scheme and those colors are not used in aviation. There were other incidents at this radar station during my tour of duty, 1965 - 1967. Some I personally experienced and some I heard from others. Very interesting times indeed.

Thank you to the gentleman for this interesting story.

UFO On Military Flat Bed Truck At Sierra Hwy And Backus Road Mojave California

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  December 3, 2011

Time:  1:00 a.m.

Number of witnesses: 5

Number of Objects: 1

Shape of Objects: Oval with dome on top lights an glow coming from bottom.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My granddaughter noticed several bright lights shining inside our dining room window. At first she thought it may have been a California Highway Patrol (CHP) as they make many stops on people here on the weekends.

She pulled the curtain back and saw several California Highway Patrol cars, and SUVs along with military vehicles at our corner. In the middle of the convoy was a very large flat bed trailer with a UFO on the back of it.

The turn was to small for the large truck, and they had to stop and back-up, and maneuver the truck to make the turn. More than one attempt. We all went out on the front porch to watch, and couldn't figure out why they had so many lights on this thing they were pulling, when we realized the UFO was lit up and had a type of glow around the bottom.

We all just froze at what we were seeing, and it sort of left a sick feeling in the pit of your stomach. I am sure it went to the underground base located way out on the west side of town.

This is not the first time my family has seen UFOs. We seem to have quite a bit of activity of that sort here.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Transparent Bubble UFO Seen By Military Personal At Mobile County Alabama

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  September 2009

Time:  Approxamtlty 5:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Near a hospital.

Number of witnesses: 1 (as far as I know)

Number of Objects: 1

Shape of Objects: Nearly round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was outside of my workplace at supper time and my eyes picked up a transparent bubble at about 3 o’clock.  It seemed to float slowly east and appeared very close to me, then it stopped.

In the background there were 2 jets flying at high altitude. The bubble was mesmerizing and after a few minutes (I think) I watched as this object disappeared. I went inside and told one friend of the incident. I have never forgotten this encounter.

Additional Information:

It occurred at my place of employment, (Brian Vike has removed the witnesses place of employment, which is in the military), Mobile County, Alabama.

Hovering Military Flares Or UFOs - Bright Orange Light Over Lake Ontario

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  December 4, 2011

Time:  Between 3:00 a.m. – 3:30 a.m.

Hi, I read your blog and last night I seen the exact same thing, a bright orange light, it was very bright, it was a cloudy and foggy night, happened between 3:00 a.m. - 3:30 a.m.

At first I thought there was a thunderstorm occurring, but all of a sudden a bright orange light broke through the clouds and lit the clouds up and seemed to hover for a while, then it disappeared.

Then another one broke through the clouds, anyways I researched it, and I think it was Canadian military flares, they apparently use these flares for the Canadian navy to light up the sky to practice military maneuvers, any confirmation of this?

The witnessed also provided a link to a news story from Syracuse.com entitled: “Pennellville Man Finds Military Flare On Lake Ontario Shore” http://www.syracuse.com/news/index.ssf/2010/04/pennellville_man_finds_militar.html

Ex Military Man Observes Bright Orange Red Ball Over Loring Air Force Base

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  Fall of 1965.

I was assigned to the 42nd Combat Defense Squadron at Loring from 1964-1966.  I had a similar experience while securing a B-52 download in the fall of 1965. In this case, a very bright orange-red "ball" overflew my remote hardstand, and the flight line, in a perfect zig-zag pattern.

It seemed to be very large, and at an altitude of about 1000 feet. I watched it until it disappeared over the horizon. Later I mentioned it to one of the flight NCOs, but I never heard anything about the incident.

However, many years later, in 1979, I was working in San Francisco. The Chronicle had a feature called, " The Question Man". The interviewer would question random people on the street. The question one day was, "have you ever seen a UFO?" One person responded, " yes, when I was at Loring AFB in the mid '60s.... He went on to describe exactly what I saw.  I tried to contact him, without success.

I don't tell this story to just anyone,  but I thought you might be interested. Sincerely.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Cannon AFB And Sheppard AFB Military Personal Observe Objects/UFOs

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Hi Brian, I was based at Cannon AFB, New Mexico in 1975/76 when there were a rash of UFO sightings at the base. I can only describe one, and I believe it was a weather balloon. (You may be more interested in my second story). It was a summer afternoon on a weekend. There had been a lot of talk about UFO's around the base. Someone came running into our barracks shouting there was a UFO in the sky directly over the base.

As you can expect, everyone ran outside to see. I remember running outside and noticing several hundred soldiers around my barracks and the other barracks in my area looking up at it. It was extremely high and appeared to be silver. It seemed to slowly change shape and after watching it for several minutes you could tell it was moving slowly west to east.

Some of the senior soldiers said it was a weather balloon but there was a large group that insisted it was a UFO. I watched it for about 15 minutes and it never did anything unusual that a UFO might do. I believe it was a balloon.

But, I did see a UFO around January, 1975, actually two of them, at Sheppard AFB in Wichita Falls, TX. I was with two other soldiers and it was about 1:00 in the morning. (No, we were not drunk and not on anything). We were returning to the base in a pick-up truck. The sky was completely overcast with a ceiling around 3,000 to 4,000 feet.

While driving east, we noticed two white lights about 2,000 feet AGL (above ground level) a couple of miles ahead of us traveling east north east. Both were making a gradual left turn in front of us. Each light was about as bright as a car headlight. The first light was flying along at about 200 knots leading the second light by a 1/4 mile or so when we first saw them.

The trailing light was traveling approximately twice as fast as the first light. They were in level flight. No strobes or beacons, just two white lights. We were watching the planes, which is what we thought they were, and talking about them. As the trailing light caught up to the first, everything happened almost instantly.

They were no longer two lights, just one about the same brightness as before the other one had joined it. As soon as the second light caught up to the first, the light shot straight up threw the clouds at mach ?

I'm just guessing at the speed because I have no experience with flying things that can turn and accelerate this fast. I've seen tracer bullets fired from powerful military weapons, and this thing went from level flight to faster than a tracer bullet, straight up. I have no doubt it was a UFO. Whatever that means.

Military Serviceman Films UFO Over Camp Pendleton (Picture)

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date: August 19, 2010

Time: Approxamtlty 8:30 p.m.

Here is the picture that I took from my iPhone. There were several witnesses in my base housing area that saw it. At first there were 3 lights forming a triangle. Then one of the lights (the one in the bottom right corner disappeared.

I was able to snap this photo before it finally disappeared entirely. It happened on August 19, 2010 at approximately 8:30 p.m.

After the sighting I called PMO and the Sgt on duty said that they've received numerous phone calls about the strange lights and that it was the Game Warden using a spotlight.

Included is the original photo and I went on my iMac and zoomed in and tried to change the exposure to see the object better. Not sure if you guys can professionally clean up and zoom in on the photo, but you can see an outline of a triangular craft.

If you have any other questions regarding the UFO sighting please feel free to contact me via email or call my cell phone at (number removed). Please update me on any information you guys might have.

Thank you to the witness for the excellent report.

His Consequences After UFO Sighting At Military ATC At Biggs AFB Texas

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date: 1964 or 1965

Brian Vike’s Note: The gentleman who reported for the first time this UFO event at Biggs AFB, Texas got a not so good of a surprise after observing a UFO while he was on duty. It is such a shame that servicemen and women are put through the ringer for doing their jobs.

I have lived with this since it happened in 1964 or 1965.  I was an air traffic controller for the Air Force at Biggs AFB, Texas.  I was on duty alone for the midshift.  At about 2:00 a.m. or so, radar approach control came on the speaker asking if I had an inbound. I responded that I did not.

He mentioned that there was something out over the military range north of the field maneuvering. I was asked to look with my binoculars and did so and saw nothing. This went on for an hour or so and then the rapcon operator advised me that the craft was making what appeared to him to be an approach to my runway.

By that time I started getting calls from security, and base-ops and a slew of others that had the ability to contact the tower. I was questioned as to what I saw, which by that time was visible on the final to my runway, which was 21/03.  He was making a perfect approach on my instrument landing system glideslope and localizer.  It was just an object that seemed to glow, at least it made itself visible by its own light.

By that time I was getting called by strategic air command post and asked "airman, what do you think you see?". I was a bit innocent in that I didn't at the time suspect that he was wanting me to deny what I was experiencing.  At the same time, I was getting calls on the primary military frequency on uhf from what I later found out was Air Defense Command.

Using the land based transmitter he was using is not legal, so at first I thought it was an aircraft.  He asked what I saw, to which I attempted to describe to him.  As we were talking, he came on and exclaimed in an agitated voice, "Holy shit, it just busted through one hundred thousand!". I saw the object streak straight up and out of my vision as it went past my range of vision due to the ceiling.

I was hammered for hours by a major from SAC asking what I had smoked, drank or what medications I was on. As I mentioned before, I was a very honest person, so I continued to insist on what I had seen. By that time, security had sent a squad, very well armed and led by a young second Lieutenant, who ordered me to surrender my log, stood by while I was told what to enter, and after he was satisfied I had not entered what I had entered in my original log, he asked to surrender the tapes.

I resisted as best as I could telling him that I was not to allow anyone to remove the tape recordings from my custody. He indicated to me that I had no options, as he was armed and had several security personnel very well armed. He took the keys from me and forced me to remove all the tapes from the time I came on duty.

We only had one line that wasn't recorded, and after they left, that phone rang, it was the civilian tower asking me if I was alone and if I could talk. He was an ex Biggs air traffic controller and knew my tower well.

He asked me to not say a thing until I walked out on the catwalk on the outside of the tower. He told me to not say I saw anything because I would be interrogated and driven out of my mind by the military. I thanked him for the advice and went back inside.

I was called again during the course of the shift by Sac command post. The last time I spoke to the officer I was still adamant as to what I saw. His first words when he called that time was to inform me that I was to report to the flight surgeon for a medical and mental examination, and not to leave the base until they allowed me to go. I lived off base. Since I was given the advice by the civilian controller I now recanted, and told him that after thinking about it, I really didn't see much.

There is a lot more to this, but I would like to make contact with you people to see if anything was ever recorded about that encounter. I also was on duty when a civilian contractor flying what was called logair, departed my field flying up the corridor to White Sands when they came on screaming about the lights that were attacking them.

They were very agitated and crying and almost losing control of the C47 that they were flying. I never reported that based on my previous experience. Controllers at approach control and the civilian tower and I communicated over the unrecorded phone line, so I wasn't making this up.

The way the government treats these encounters makes it almost impossible to prove that these things really happened. To the point that had I not mentioned it to my now deceased ex wife, I would not have believed it either.

I have never drank alcohol, taken drugs, even am reluctant to take prescription medications unless I must.  So I have never been  addicted or used any substances that would alter my thinking. I would like to communicate with someone that is in a position to help to research this and other sightings.

Thank you.

Thank you to the gentleman for his fascinating report, also for taking his time to come onto the Jeff Rense radio program to explain what went on at Biggs AFB in Texas many years ago. If anyone else has information about this sighting, I and this gentleman would like to hear from you. You can write Brian at brian_vike@telus.net

Jets Approach Hovering Metal Looking Tube UFO Belleville Ontario

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  April 31, 2007

Time:  Approxamtlty 3:30 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Benjamin and Yeamon street in Belleville.

Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Like a tube, but it had a bottom like a disk.

Full Description of event/sighting: My friend and I were driving down Yeamon street in Belleville Ontario when my friend said, "look at that". I looked, but didn't see anything.

He turned the truck down off of Yeamon street going down to my place and he said to look between the buildings as there was something in the sky. I looked and I couldn't see anything.

My friend drove up to another house and in-between the houses I see a silver, or metal looking tube just sitting there in the sky. It looked like it was a tube at first, but than I noticed it looked like the glare from the metal. It was moving and almost like the thing was spinning.

I then noticed it tilt and I seen it had a bottom. I only noticed it tilt for a second, then it went back to normal and started moving slowly away. We drove to follow it and saw it again between the next two houses.

Then the flight path it was on, or should've been on was gone because when we went drove to the next break in the houses, there was nothing there and that's not possible.

This thing had to fly like a hummingbird as it made no noise and judging from the size of the bottom and how close it was it should've made noise. I live near Trenton airbase and about 3 minuets after I saw the object. I saw 3 jets fly in the sky upwards and in a triangle around were I saw the object.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Military Security Police Encounter Tall Bi-Pedal Humanoid Creatures

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Noticed you said you were working on the Phoenix Lights. You know, I was stationed at Luke AFB 73-75 and I was in the 58th Security Police Squadron and my last position was Desk Sgt., so after hours I would have to field all the incoming calls from the civilians around the Phoenix area explaining to them that there was no longer a Project Blue Book and that the Air Force no longer investigated UFO's, but I can tell you this, that area is a true hot bed for these objects and I have the pleasure of once again moving back there (early next year).

Yes, a hotbed, but not just for UFO's. I was also stationed at Davis Monthan at Tucson (was Strategic Air Command at that time), both of these bases had what was described by the Security Police who encountered it as a very tall bi-pedal humanoid type thing, mainly featureless, almost like a dark shadow. This thing would lurk near the perimeters of the bases.

I read years later that the Security Police at Edwards AFB also had the same problem. At Davis Monthan this thing was seen time and time again within the Nuclear Storage area which was about a mile away (still on base) from the main area of the base. The Sentry dogs were terrified of it. This area of course contained the "Nukes" used by the 52's sitting on the Flight line, so it was a very sensitive area. This was my first Base and the area was very, very strange. Especially working the Mid night shifts.

I witnessed this thing in 1974, when after fielding call after call from civilians reporting UFOs all over the Phoenix area, I decided to have some one relieve me on the desk, took a car and went out to the perimeter of the base along with a SAT team (Security Alert Team) as we sat watching, lights were darting about the White Tanks area, one of the Security guys yelled out and pointed toward the perimeter fence, sure enough there walked a tall dark "thing".

As we watched it, it looked as though it began to run. It was about 200 yards away and in a very deserted area. The perimeter fence near the flight line was only a small barb wired fence. As we drove out to where it should have been, it disappeared on us, no trace. Actually there was no where for it to go, but it was no longer there.

As I'm sure you well know, often times when an area is sustaining a "flap", flying objects are not the only anomalous things making their presence known in the area, although the Phoenix and Tucson areas don't exactly experience flaps, its more like a continuous affair.

Additional Information Below:

There has got to be many others (Security Police) and others of course, to this day who have witnessed some of the goings on at the base. I don't think these things have stopped. I'll tell you a little story about Davis Monthan when I was sent there in 1971. As you know, this is the air craft grave yard.

Within the base property there is a road that leads out of the main base and down the road to the Nuclear Storage facility, or at least there used to be a nuclear storage facility. Within the Security Police of the United States Air Force you have two divisions, one is Law Enforcement Specialist (which I was) and the other is Security Specialist, or what we used to call "ramp rats", these are the guys with the M-16's you see walking around the ramps where the fighters or bombers sit, you will also see them guarding the nuclear facilities or ICBM silos, my job was like that of City Police, we were the Law Enforcement branch.

When I first started at Davis Monthan I worked a lot of Midnight shifts, one of our "duties" was to bring the guys (security) out at the nuclear site coffee. This we would do every night around 2 or 3 a.m. The site was perhaps 15 acres in size, surrounded by a large security fence, within the compound were numerous bunkers where they stored the nukes, this area was lit up by spaced telephone poles with lighting. So, you would have 2 or 3 guys at the entry control point, one guy on foot inside the area, and most of the time there would be one guy with a sentry dog in the area (usually asleep with his dog somewhere - LOL).

So, this one night we picked up their coffee and began our drive to the Nuclear Site, it was a two lane road that led out into the desert area (actually I here you can go on tours there now, and I imagine the same road is still there), on both sides of the road you had high metal fences so that you couldn't just stop and walk into the area of the aircraft "graveyard". It was really a quite spooky and kind of desolate ride going out there. So here we are driving out to give them their coffee. The ride was maybe 10 minutes. We pulled up to the gate, one of the guys came out, we handed him his coffee, we made a U turn and went back toward the main base.

About half way between the main base and where we dropped the coffee, were driving, doing perhaps 30 miles an hour when we see this object in the middle of the two land road. At first we thought it was a vehicle broken down, we drove up close to the thing, when we got close enough and stopped we realized that it was a "prop" or propeller engine, about the size or maybe a little bit smaller than a Volkswagen.

Well, obviously we were pretty stunned because we had just come down this road about 10 minutes before. So we get out of the car and take a closer look. Indeed that's what it was, the engine off a large propeller driven aircraft, minus the propeller. So we call the "flight Chief" our boss, like a Police Lieutenant for a civilian agency, he comes out, scratches his head and makes another call.

So were sitting there in our car over the course of perhaps an hour as more and more brass begin filtering into the area. Eventually the Base Commander shows up, mind you this is now about 0400 hrs. We are told to leave and go back to headquarters where are briefed by our Flight Chief a little later who sternly instructs us not to speak to anyone about this nor to even mention it to anyone.

Now Brian, this thing was sitting out there like someone had picked it up from the other side of the fence and then set it down in the middle of the road. The engine was nowhere near any of the very few gate entrances into this area and there were no drag marks around it. I would estimate that it had to weight at least a ton, so I don't think any pranksters placed it there. I think you have to believe whoever or whatever did this has to have a sense of humor.

Oh, and if you can locate former Security Police from the Arizona bases I'm quite certain that will relate similar stories to you, I've lost track of all of them unfortunately.

Important Additional Information:

Well I think the area was safe from what it was being guarded against, but these other "intruders" we couldn't stop. Nothing really happened due to these "things" but it was clear to us that we could be trespassed upon though !!!!!

Final story, although there were others:

I believe it was near 1975 because I was about to be discharged. It was at Luke AFB and during a Midnight shift. We had a SAT team working that night comprised of 3 men. As I was working the "desk" at Security Police HQ, these three SAT team members came into the office at around 0100 hrs or so.

Normally, they were a loud bunch but this night they were really quiet and just kind of milled around near my desk...real quiet and they looked really perplexed.

After a few minutes, I asked them what the heck was the matter with them. I finally got out of them that they were parked near the flight line. They were in one of those old Dodge "6 packs" 4 wheel drive trucks, the type with 4 doors. Two were seated in the front and one in the back. They were sitting there quietly talking with the engine shut off. The passenger in the front was talking to the guy in back when he said he saw this tall black "thing" coming running out of the desert toward the rear of the truck.

He said he couldn't believe his eyes and screamed at the driver to start the truck and get out of there. As the driver was doing this, all three were looking behind the truck and saw this tall, black man-like thing run up to the truck and...jump right over the bed (of the truck). It landed, and took a few more steps and was lost to sight. By then the truck was started and our brave crew of Security Police was departing post haste out of the area they were sworn to defend (I would have, too!!).

They said it was just really tall, running on two legs, they couldn't make out any features or anything else.

I'll tell you Brian, I witnessed these guys first hand and they weren't lying. In fact, they weren't going to say anything to anybody until I dragged it out of them. They were genuinely in shock.

So, I don't know if these things were at other bases outside of the desert areas, but I know they were at Luke, Davis Monthan, and Edwards. Were they somehow related to UFOs? I don't know, but it wouldn't surprise me. I believe Jacques Vallee has mentioned in his many books how many of these anomalous occurrences happen in tandem with each other

Probably like you, I remember in the 50s when I was 6 or 7 years old watching the black and white clips on TV showing recently photographed UFOs. I remember groups of them in Flight...and that was it for me, I was hooked from then on. I've spent 20 years in the San Francisco Police Department and just retired. Nothing in that department will be as exciting to me as getting back to that desert area and poking around with my camera

My sincere thanks to the person for relating this story to me.

Thank you to the eyewitness for their report.

Military Artillery Takes Out Landed UFO At Da Nang RVN Happy Valley

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date: Between February and July of 1966

Time: 2:00 a.m. - 4:00 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Da Nang, RVN - Happy Valley.

Number of witnesses: Unknown.

Number of Objects: Believed to be 1

Shape of Objects: Unknown.

Brian Vike's Note: If anyone else who served at this time and in this area and have any information about this event, please do contact Brian Vike at brian_vike@telus.net with a detailed report. Your privacy is kept confidential. Thank you.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Radar track from Danang, and Aerial observer. Taken out by Artillery fire. More information if you are interested. Did not get any TDA following the counter fire.

Additional Information:

Hi Brian, I am guessing you are in British Columbia, or the Pacific Northwest. Quite a bit out of my normal travel area. Anyway, it is still good to hear from you and to learn of your organization.

I was in the US Marine Corps, and served in the SE Asia area during 1964, 1965, 1966, 1968, and 1969. It was during my 1965-66 tour that we were located to the northeast of Da Nang, and I was in an Artillery Fire Direction Center (FDC). We controlled close to 100 Field Artillery pieces in the Da Nang area, and could bring about 500 rounds onto one football field sized spot in about 3 minutes.

I have had some injuries from auto crashes since then and do not remember just when the incident occurred, but it was between February and July of 1966. I was on the late night shift and we got a call from the air base that a UFO had come in and landed at a set of coordinates generated by the GCA Radar. These plotted out in an area that we referred to as "Happy Valley."

The IFF response had been un heeded and the radar and visual tracking from an airborne craft in the area did not match any known aircraft. Since we were close to the DMZ, no one wanted to take any chances and we were given clearance to fire all available artillery on it. We had about 70+ pieces that could range the target so we plotted a time on target mission and fired 6 rounds per piece on the target.

The GCA radar kept watch on the area and the observer stayed a safe distance out of the lines of fire. We got the usual artillery bursts and at the end of the barrage there was a huge flash that registered on the GCA radar.

The air observer reported that nothing had left the area, and it was too dark to look for damage until sunup. We filed the fire mission request and record of fire with the other log sheets and had been advised that a ground crew was going in for TDA at first light. When we came on shift 2 days later we looked for the record of fire sheet to see what the ground crew had found.

We were amazed to find that the entire set of records for that mission had vanished. No one would admit to being told to pull it and we never did find out what we had hit other than the initial comments that had come back to us while we were firing on the target. I still have no clue what we shot. It was big and got a lot of people excited.

No other sightings were reported in our area that I heard about before I left in August of 1966. This has always been a puzzling experience, wandering around in the back of my mind. I have often wondered if we had in deed taken out an extraterrestrial space craft, and how badly we had irritated whom ever it belonged to.

Sorry I don't have more or better descriptive information on the craft or the post attack findings.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to tell this story. I would be interested in hearing about any thing that may have been found out about this incident as it has been bothering me for over 40 years now.

Thanks, and best wishes to you.

Thank you to the witness for their interesting report.

Military Jets Pursuing UFO And Strange Power Surge Fresno California (Audio Interview)

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

I interviewed both ladies who witnessed the sighting and below are two links, one for Sylia's interview and the other for Connie. I can't thank the two ladies enough for taking the time with me on the telephone. Also, I must apologize to Sylvia for calling her Connie several times during the interview. My brain was out in space.

Sylvia's telephone interview: https://jmp.sh/kJE1Uyf

Connie's telephone interview: https://jmp.sh/XO5YH63

Location of Sighting: Near Fresno Airport, Fresno, CA.

Number of witnesses: 2

Number of objects: 1

Shape of objects: Round or Diamond Shaped.

Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, my husband and I sent you our sighting report of 12 white orbs that we saw and photographed over Los Banos, California on August 28, 2005, which you posted. You have asked for older reports so I am attaching a sighting my girlfriend and I had in 1969 which involved two jets chasing after a UFO spotted near the Fresno, CA Airport.

Clovis California, June, 1969 - It was about 10:00 p.m. on a warm clear evening, mid June of 1969. I had just graduated from High School and my best friend and I were sitting outside my home enjoying the clear dark sky and brilliantly shining stars.

On a whim, we decided that we wanted to go to a late-night market in Fresno, about five miles away and buy some magazines to read. We got into my car and began to drive south to a shopping center near the Fresno Airport.

Along the way we decided to take a short cut on a small road adjacent to the airport which was flanked by an open field. We turned right onto the small two lane road and were now driving along side the field and which was several hundred feet away from the fenced area near the end of the airport runway, which we could see clearly, including buildings and planes of the local Air National Guard.

There were no street lights and the road was dark with no traffic, except for us. As we drove by we could see that most of the airport activities had stopped for the evening, which was normal, as no aircraft landed or took off from there at that time of night.

We continued down the road talking, when I noticed my friend leaning forward in the passenger seat staring up at something in the sky. She motioned to me to look out my driver's side window saying, "what is that?"

I looked out the window and saw an intense white strobing light hovering above, apparently keeping pace with my car. I slowed down and it continued to follow at the same pace. As our windows were down, we most certainly would have heard an engine, was it a plane, but it made no noise at all.

Not knowing what we were seeing, I pulled over, stopped the car and we both got out to take a better look. We were mesmerized by the intense white light of the object which now appeared diamond shaped and strobing quickly as it hovered above us.

It was hard to estimate it’s altitude and size, but we guessed at arms length it would have been the size of a basketball. By now two other cars had come up behind us and had pulled off the road to look as well. Within moments the object started to move away from us, and began to pick up speed. All of a sudden we heard the roar of jet engines and looked up to see two military jets lifting off the runway in hot pursuit of this object.

The jets passed directly over us, so close that we could see the landing gear retract. We watched as the jets tried to close on the object. We were in a flat area of land and we could clearly see the object and jets streaking away from us heading due west.

As the jets began to close on the object, the object slowed and appeared to hover over the jets as if teasing them, and then it made an incredible 90 degree turn with several jerking, zigzag movements and shot off at tremendous speed to the south directly over downtown Fresno.

The jets were left in its wake. We immediately jumped back into the car and decided to head home to tell our families what we had just witnessed.

It was about 10:45 p.m. when we reached the main intersection of town where we were stopped waiting the signal light to change. Suddenly all of the signal lights, and street lights started flashing on and off, including the caution lights at the train tracks which were directly in front of us beyond the intersection.

A large bolt of electricity shot down a power line near the road, arcing and snapping until it got to the end and dissipated. We sat there watching these lights flashing on and off around us for about 3 - 4 minutes and then they all stopped and the signal turned green.

We looked at each other and I floored it through the intersection and didn't let off the gas until we got to my friends home only a few blocks away.

When we pulled up to her house, some of the neighbors were all outside talking excitedly about what had just happened with the lights in the neighborhood. Of course they asked us if we saw it and we told them that we had witnessed that, and more.

Wanting to confirm what we had seen earlier, we ran inside the house to phone the airport. Incredibly, the call was answered by a man in the control tower.

I told him we had observed something in the sky close to the airport less than an hour ago and asked him if two National Guard jets had taken off to check it out.

I was told point-blank that no planes had taken off at all that night. I asked him again, if he was sure, and he told me once again that no planes had taken off.

We knew we weren't going to get any further with him and we also knew he had to be lying as we saw the jets with our own eyes and had close enough to read the numbers on the planes.

We told our families about what we had seen and received polite, yet insincere statements like, "wow that must have been something". But we knew they didn't believe us.

There was nothing in the local news the next day about a strange object in the sky or equally strange power surge and nothing was ever said about it again, except between my friend and me.

We've recounted that night many times over the years, even up to this day. We know what we saw; we know what happened.

I interviewed both ladies who witnessed the sighting and below are two links, one for Sylia's interview and the other for Connie. I can't thank the two ladies enough for taking the time with me on the telephone. Also, I must apologize to Sylvia for calling her Connie several times during the interview. Military Man Recounts Seeing V Shaped Formation Over The Northern Saudi Arabia Desert

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  Jan-Feb 1991

Time:  Varied - Midnight to 3:00 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Northern Saudi Arabia Desert.

Number of witnesses: Multiple.
Number of objects: 1-2
Shape of objects: Unknown, but lights in V shape.

Full Description of event/sighting: During Desert Storm, my unit was staged in the northern Saudi Arabian desert, about 50 miles south of the border with Iraq.  On at least two occasions, as I was performing perimeter guard duty in the early morning hours, I was sitting on the edge of the perimeter, scanning the area to my front, when I suddenly had the feeling that something was over me.

I looked back over my shoulder, and saw what appeared to be 5 lights, almost identical to the brightness of stars, in the shape of a V flying above me.  It was a moonless night, but in that part of the desert, starlight shone brightly, and whatever this thing was appeared out of no where. What struck me as strange is that it made no sound at all, but it looked like five stars moving slowly over my unit.

I kept watching as this thing passed over my unit, and then moved beyond me and slowly out of sight.  As it passed over, all that could be heard, was the faint sound of a rush of air, like a low wind blowing.

I have no way of judging the size of this object, as I could make out no shape of an object, only V shaped lights, but compared to the size of a Boeing 747, a plane of that size to have lights spread to those dimensions, would only possibly be 100 feet off the ground to be that size.

Within five minutes, this cluster of V-shaped lights flew silently over again.  Twice in one night.

What was surprising in this, I was not the only person in my unit that saw this thing.  In fact, nearly every person in my section at some time or another saw this cluster of lights silently flying over our site.

I happened to see it again on a separate night of guard duty, only this time, I also had a set of night vision goggles with me.  The thing flew over again, and I tried my best to train my goggles on it, but the only thing I could make out were the five lights, no form or outline of the object could be made out.

I recall reading accounts of the Fort Stockton flying boomerang sightings in Texas, as well as the infamous "Phoenix Lights" sightings in 1997, and descriptions of both of these sightings, sound very similar to what the Soldiers in my unit witnessed during Desert Storm in 1991.

I am still serving in the US Army, so I withhold my name and address, but wanted to share this with you.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Military Helicopters Peruse Black Triangle UFO In The Sky Over Little Rock Arkansas (Report/Audio Interview)

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

The 43 minutes audio interview can be found at the following link. https://jmp.sh/gKOARu5

Essentially, two vehicles came swooping in toward the nearby landing-strip of the Little Rock Airport, just after twilight. About 6 minutes earlier I had noticed another plane leaving the same airspace as it took off S-W towards Dallas, at first making this appear to be a sensible, well choreographed normal flight-pattern.

Both were descending at an unacceptably high rate of speed, not unlike Flt.175, as it approached the WTC South Tower, just a few months prior. I instantly slowed from my usual 58mph freeway speed, to about 48mph, just slow enough to capture the active motion against a relatively stable foreground. It suddenly dawned on me that these aircraft were in hot pursuit!

Having a high degree of spatial recognition, I could see that I was approximating a situation where I might be entering a point of impact, so I slowed my vehicle as much as I could, practically do without serious risk to other traffic. Even 39mph suddenly felt like a suicide rate, so I dropped it down to second and got into the creeper-lane. That's when it all became clear that I was observing a real UFO.

The vehicles leveled-off at an altitude of just about 1,000 feet. and continued at me for about 1 mile. Their additional descent went unnoticed until the first craft slowed to a nearly parked position. Behind him, was a full battle-ready Huey helicopter which also came to a sudden halt, much as though he was scared of getting more than an inch closer.

Very gently, the Black Triangle proceeded to move forward and I rolled to a position just beyond it's wingspan. At that point, it was about 1 1/2 blocks to my Left, so I could see the entire thing through my driver's side window, but as it moved, it was to leave the entire bird visible through, and virtually filling my Jeep's entire windshield.

I looked intensely at every portion of that machine, knowing it could not be faithfully photographed at night. Lucky for me all of it's lights were operational and I believe that I observed all of the fundamental attributes of their behavior in this 'idle' mode. My feeling was both one of terror and relief. My biggest fear was that the helicopter would fire upon it and I would be caught in the fireball below!

To my hard left, another troop-type helicopter appeared. I'll discuss that one later.

I knew that I needed a comparable reference to describe the UFO's actual scale which still eludes me somewhat. Altitudes of 900' would seem more reasonable than say, 500 feet., but that was probably it's very lowest hovering height. In order to lock my eyes on the thing throughout the entire progression, I eventually sat in the window with my head above the car itself.

In this interview Brian Vike talked with a fellow who gave a awesome description of the Black Triangle UFO he observed. The size of this clip is 14.6 mbs and it is 43 minutes in length.
