Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 or 2 Shape of objects: Two round globes.
Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, it was exceptionally clear the other night and that multi colored star/light whatever? was really putting on a good show. I decided to video tape it in time lapse and see if I could get some good shots. After getting the camera set up and running I was looking at it (the star) through my 10X binoculars. I noticed just below and to its right what appeared to be two small dim stars. I didn't pay much attention at first then realized that one of them was pulsing, bright to dim, Never really vanishing and not as fast as a strobe or as bright. That kind of caught my attention. I switched over to my bigger binoculars, half expecting the light to be gone by the time I got them aimed in that direction. But for once the object was still there. Turned out that what I thought was a single light was actually two globes one situated slightly behind the other. The one in the forefront was pulsing from a bright yellow and down to a dull orange and back again.
The rearward globe was going from the appearance of a glowing ping pong ball to the greyish sheen of a pearl. I could not tell if they were connected but both were pulsing in unison and after watching for a few moments I realized they were slowly drifting in an easterly direction. I could not tell how high or how far away they were but they possibly were either in space or close to it. With the naked eye I couldn't see them at all. They moved to slow to be either a plane or a satellite. I watched them for approx: five minutes until they just seemed to fade away. They maintained the same distance and appearance the whole time I was watching.
Thank you to the witness for the report.
