Bright Flash Lit Up The Entire Sky Over Newton/Surrey British Columbia

Time:  Between 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.

I seen a bright flash of light that lit up the whole sky between 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on the night of August 18,2012 in Surrey, B.C.

I live in Newton and the flash did indeed seem to come from the general direction of Surrey Memorial Hospital and the King George Skytrain direction.

It freaked my girlfriend right out, there was no noise to it at all. I searched on the internet last night and were relieved we were not the only ones in our area to see it.

Sasquatch In Campers Campsite At Bear River Saskatchewan

Time:  Approx: 1:00 a.m.

My younger sister just told me a very interesting story. The story is that she and a few other relatives were camping at an area where they go harvest wild mushrooms each year.

During the day they found very large footprints and the being was in their camp and ate some soup that was left in a cooking pot.

When they looked in the pot, they found the soup to be extremely oily. During the night their dog was barking at about 1:00 a.m. and she could smell the strong odor, like a musty unwashed animal.

While she was telling this story, I recollected that back on 2006 of December a young lady spotted a Sasquatch like creature by Torch River. Now Torch River and Bear

River are only separated by several miles apart.

Sounds interesting to me to share this story with you.

8 Orange Objects/Lights Over Barrie Ontario

I saw 8 orange balls fly over Barrie last night. They came into view every 60 seconds (est.) It seemed, and then each disappeared or went out.

I looked like there was something still in the air, but not sure.

We were in my backyard and the four of us watched them come into view and then disappear. Really weird?

6 Orange Lights/Objects Flew Straight Over English Bay Vancouver British Columbia

Time:  8:45 p.m.

Hello Brian, my friend and I were sitting on the couch in my apartment on Bidwell Street in English Bay at 8:45 p.m. last night (August 17th) when we saw two sizable orange glowing objects rise up from the direction of the north shore mountains and slowly move across English Bay.

My apartment is on the 5th floor, across from Alexandra Park and beyond that is Beach Avenue and then the Ocean. I have a very clear view of the night sky. It puzzled both of us that these "craft" were so bright and orange and there did not appear to be any sound coming from them. 

I took my camera out and took a photo and then took some video footage. They were heading south west over the water and they were rising higher, then they disappeared instantly. There was not a cloud in the sky. 

A minute later another one rose up from the same location,  behind Stanley Park and from the direction of the North Shore. It followed the same trajectory and heading over the ocean and rising higher and then disappeared in the same direction. 

I phoned a friend who lives in an apartment on Beach Avenue and she also observed it.

A minute or two later another one rose up from the same direction and followed the exact same path.

There must have been approximately six in total. I took some more video footage with my phone.

We also saw some planes which moved in a very different way and a helicopter fly by.

These orange glowing, circular shaped pulsating vessels were very different from the planes or helicopter and there was no sound.

By the way, my friend and I are both professionals are were completely sober at the time of the sighting.

Orange Objects/Lights Flew Over English Bay Vancouver British Columbia Canada

Hi Brian, I was contacted by two neighbors that live two buildings down from me on August 17th, 2012 and witnessed two of the orange orbs in the sky over English Bay in Vancouver.

My neighbors saw a total of 12 orbs over the course of 20 minutes and managed to videotape them. It was very exciting for me! I've never seen anything like it!

They were pulsing and moving in a way that helicopters and planes do not. As I looked through my binoculars, it became very evident that these were UFO's.

I will be paying closer attention to the sky from this point on. It's great to know that others witnessed the same thing. Thank you for your Blog!

Bright Orange Lights/Objects Over English Bay Vancouver British Columbia (Photo)

Time:  Around 9:45 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Hi Brian, I saw some strange lights over English Bay Friday at about 9:45 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. The lights were bright orange. At about 9:45 p.m. while watching TV I glanced out my window and saw a 'strange' orange light.

It was not a plane. Didn't think much of it until a few seconds later another light appeared, then another, then another. At one point there were 4 lights total. They disappeared, then 5-10 minutes later 2 orange lights appeared.

They were not moving fast. They did not hover. There was no reflection on the water.

They seemed to just appear then reappear over a time span of 1/2 hour. I tried to take a photo, but the shutter speed on my camera was not set correctly.

I got this photo which was taken at aperture 6.3 shutter speed 5 seconds. This light is obviously moving. Also I was hand holding the camera at a shutter speed of 5 seconds which would account for some of the movement.

Between 10:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. after the mysterious light show a few planes (or maybe 1 plane circling the area) were above English Bay.

I read on your blog this morning about the entry that says these lights were Chinese lanterns. That might account for it except, four lights appeared and disappeared, two lights appeared then disappeared, then 1 light kept appearing.

The one light in particular that kept reappearing could be seen first appearing in the west as a small dot then would appear as a larger orange light. Also I did not see these lights floating upward as one would expect if they were Chinese lanterns.

Also these lights did not appear to be just aimlessly floating in the breeze as one would expect lanterns to do ?

7 Lights Spotted From Walnut Grove Langley British Columbia (Video Footage)

Hello, my name is (name removed). Last night between 10:30/11:00 I was driving and I saw these lights moving in the sky. I pulled over and got it on video.

It was crazy there were like seven of them.

Additional Information:

Well I was driving home from the Langley Rams game, I don't drink so I wasn't intoxicated and I see very clearly. I am a bit of a sky watcher so I am aware of the stars, satellites, airplanes, helicopters ( and flight paths ), space station, constellations.

I  turned the corner onto 210 Street between 94 and 95A Ave in Walnut Grove Langley BC. Driving about 15 - 20 kph I looked to my left and saw these lights in the sky just above the rooftop house line. I saw a total of 7 during this event.

When I first saw them they looked almost like a formation rise slowly up towards the top of the sky. I stopped and pulled out my I Phone and by the time I had started recording, three had vanished before my eyes dropping strait down and one higher up.

Needless to say, I was stunned by this. These glowing orange/yellow orb type things were moving oddly without sound.

In the video the light seems small, but what my eyes saw were much bigger as I was watching them with my eyes and just holding my phone up glancing at it often to make sure I was in line with them.

In the video you can see a airplane behind them flashing so the difference is clear to any skeptics. I know what I saw.

I'm over 40 and have been interested in these type of subjects for quite some time and have good knowledge of the stars and aircraft, and this absolutely blew my mind.

Very interesting to say the least. I cannot identify these glowing objects through all my experience and knowledge. How they would just disappear was nothing I have ever seen before.

For me they remain unidentified. This started at about 10:50 p.m. give or take a minute or two on August 18/2012. Feel free to contact me for any further information.

12 Or More Orange Lights Seen Flying In The Sky From Tsawwassen British Columbia

Hello, I am emailing to let you know about a very strange sighting my family saw last night. 

We live in Tsawwassen, B.C. right on the border to Point Roberts, WA. We saw at least 1 dozen (probably more) orange lights moving slowing up into the sky. 

At one point there were approximately 7 or 8 making the shape of the big dipper. These lights came up looked like they hovered a bit then went a bit higher then it was like they went behind the clouds and the lights faded out. 

It was between 11:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. August 18th, 2012. It looked like they were coming up from Washington State (Seattle area).

Pretty incredible.

Flashes Of Light In The Sky Over Port Moody British Columbia

I also saw white flashing lights that appeared to be in Earths orbit height, but moving only inches in the sky then totally disappearing.

I live off Moray Street south of St John Port Moody and looking strait up it would be at 1 o'clock.

I have often tracked satellites and ISS across the sky and I don't think this was either.

Some type of government experiment or weapon. I have seen this before approximately same height, but slightly different location. Would just like know.

Silent Square Shaped UFO Fly's Over Nanoose Bay British Columbia

I live in Nanoose Bay, B.C. beside Schooner Cove marina. I was standing out on my upper deck in the dark to cool off at about 9:45 p.m. last night (August 18, 2012) when an extremely large, low-flying object appeared just over the tree line from the west. 

It moved eastward at a very slow rate of speed. It was square in shape flying on a diagonal with brilliant bright white, red, green and blue lights underneath.

It had white strobing lights running from the middle to the back end which clearly outlined it's square shape - as opposed to an airplane with wings. 

It moved in complete silence and disappeared from my view behind the trees to the east.

I quickly ran down the road to where there is an unobstructed view eastward across the open ocean towards Vancouver where I expected to still see it flying, but it was nowhere in sight and had disappeared.

Light Blinking Red Blue And White In The Sky North Of Coquitlam British Columbia

Time:  Between 12:30 a.m. and 2:00 a.m.

On August 19, 2012 between 12:30 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. my wife and I also observed strange lights north of the Coquitlam area. The object was very distant in the sky, blinking red, blue and white lights.

It hovered in the same position for long periods of time and would then shift very quickly back and forth and up and down. A few times it appeared to emit a large bright flash that lit up the area around the object.

This is the second time we have witnessed this same activity in the same area. I did take video of it on my blackberry, but it did not turn out either.

Bright Flashes In The Sky Over Surrey British Columbia

Time:  Around 10:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

In Surrey around 10:00 p.m. -11:00  p.m. I saw flashes of light in the sky.

The light reflected off of the clouds and at occurred, at most, 3 times a minute and at least once per minute.

Some flashes were brighter than others and no sound accompanied them. They were lesser than lightning, but were bright enough to notice peripherally. I would say that they lit up the clouds in the direction they were in.

I watched them for at least 10 minutes and other people saw them independently of me.

The light appeared to be in the direction of North Surrey, towards Surrey Central Sky train station. Feel free to write back.

Flashes In The Night Sky Over Coquitlam British Columbia

I saw them, the flashes tonight. My friend noticed it and then she told us and we looked and we saw a lot. It was creepy. We were in the Safeway parking lot near Coquitlam centre.

This happened around 11:15 p.m.

My other friends also noticed it, and texted me. It came from the Coquitlam River region, kind of and I tried taking a video, but the flashes were bright outside, but they wouldn't show up on the video. Cheers!

Red/Orange Light Filmed Over West End Vancouver British Columbia (Video Footage)

A video of some odd floating light taken from our balcony in The West End, Vancouver. We saw the same light in a different area 20 minutes before this video.

We saw 2 similar lights the week before over English Bay. Each time the light just dims until it is no longer seen.

The ones we saw over the Bay were moving quite erratically, one going straight up and stopping while the other one caught up, then both dimmed and gone.

20 Or More Lights Flew Over Calgary Alberta

Hello, we were outside of our garage and we saw about 20 or more lights coming south of the city going west, that was August 18, 2012.

It was amazing they seem to be traveling in a line and separated almost at the same distance from each other, no noise and all going in the same direction.

I would also want to know if anybody else saw them, that was beautiful and strange. I recorded in my camera, but it didn't turn out good at all.

Orange Light Seen Over Stanley Bridge Prince Edward Island

Time:  Approx: 10:00 p.m.

I am in Stanley Bridge PEI. At around 10:00 p.m. I too saw an orange, triangular shaped, light pass directly above our house.

We had some cloud cover and this object was flying under the clouds.

It was traveling northeast about as fast as a turbo prop. It's light was continuous, no flashing as an aircraft would. It had no tail or trail of any kind. It was absolutely silent.

Orange Lights In The Sky Over Vancouver British Columbia

Good day, I just read your posting on the orange lights in the West End. We just saw the same thing 15 minutes ago, we also saw 2 of them last week over English Bay headed south west as well. 

We live on Pendrell, right behind Safeway. It was hard to tell how high it was, seemed fairly low though. It was headed north east.  Silent, and almost flickering.  Light went out at one time.
