Weather Conditions: Clear and sunny blue skies.
Description: My wife was driving, we were heading east along Mainway in Burlington when I noticed something in the air just to the north of us. It caught my eye as it was large but hovering in the air at a very low altitude. I pointed it out to my wife and we both assumed it was a blimp, but suddenly there was a shimmer of metallic light across the surface, as if turning in the sunlight and it took off away from us at an alarming rate. We pulled into a side street and got out of the car to watch the object. It flew off to a high elevation to the north-east, then stopped and hovered for a few seconds before turning and streaking across the sky westward and disappeared.
My wife and I were confused by the whole event and were talking about it as we got onto the QEW heading east into Toronto. About five minutes later we spotted the same object over Oakville. Again it was low and hovering, this time directly in front of us above the QEW with a shimmering light across the surface before slowly moving across our path and then accelerating and rocketing off and disappearing again.
Between Burlington and Toronto we spotted this same object 2 more times with the same erratic hovering and flight patterns. Because we were driving we were able to have multiple sightings but we were sure other people had seem this object as well.

More Eyewitnesses Report Heavy Air Traffic Over Hamilton, Ontario

Further to this report posted yesterday, I would like to corroborate the reporter's observations. We too witnessed extremely heavy air traffic here over Hamilton Ontario at the same time and date. The contrails were at times in the dozens, indicating a volume of traffic not seen since the '60's when SAC aircraft were plentiful. One of the things that I observed was the fact that these aircraft were not following commercial routes that we normally observe here. They were going in all directions and at a very high altitude. Some of the contrails revealed that the aircraft were changing courses abruptly at high flight levels, something which is not normally done with commercial traffic. The altitudes of the craft were such that there was no way they could have departed from any airport or air base in Southern Ontario or upper New York State.

Parksville, British Columbia UFOs Zig Zag - Stop And Travel Quickly

Location of Sighting: Entire sky.
Number of witnesses: 8
Number of objects: 4+
Shape of objects: Light only.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was lying on my back as the sky darkened to look at stars. I saw what I thought was a satellite, as it did not blink, but appeared to be moving. As I continued to watch it stopped and changed directions and moved behind clouds. As I checked other parts of the sky I found more of these odd-moving lights - at least four at any given time. At this time I awoke my daughter to act as a second witness. These lights appeared to be at a high altitude, but moved quickly from time to time. When I realized they were odd, I pointed and yelled "AHA!", it was then that it pealed out in an opposite direction and then stopped and zig-zagged and even appeared to be forming some type of figures with its movement. After I put my daughter back to bed, I went and found a group of about 7 college-age boys from Victoria. I was able to point out one that was directly over-head and was validated in my discovery. They were unilaterally convinced they were observing an alien craft. I was sure only that it wasn't technology we had been made aware of yet. The next night I could see them again. Since then I have told more people, however it has been cloudy at night and nothing has been visible.
Point - If it were a manned craft, the G's pulled by the accelerations, decelerations and direction changes would have killed a man. If it were from another planet, then they were trying desperately to get our attention.
Please tell me what I am seeing.

Full Description of event/sighting: Bright light heading in a eastern direction, slow moving over Pitt Meadows into Maple Ridge. If anyone else has seen this please report. No sound, bright, no FAA lights, just a white glowing orb. Planes in the area were coming in from over Golden Ears mountain and must have seen this object! This object is easily seen by anyone looking up.

Toronto, Ontario Heavy Jet Air Traffic

Hi Brian, Awhile ago there was a contrail discussion on your site, so I wanted to report this. We left the house about 8:15 am this morning and noticed in the skies above Toronto several criss crossing contrails. I was suspicious, and kept watching for the next 40 minutes, and all the way from the west side of Toronto up hwy 400 past Newmarket we saw so many contrails being made. At times there were at least 3 jets flying side by side leaving contrails right over Toronto (I didn't even realize that this was legal, to fly so close to each other). The only camera I had was on my cell phone. I'll check if there is a way to use these on the computer.

Number of witnesses: 2

Shape of objects: Looked like bright stars.
Full Description of event/sighting: While sitting in a friends backyard on Waverly Street I noticed what looked like two bright stars. They looked way too close together to be that bright (very unusual - like two bright planets one on top of the other). I mentioned this to my friend and as we looked up to get a better look the top one disappeared (slowly-like a light bulb burning out)...about 10 seconds later the second one did the same thing. These objects were never moving but what we saw was something neither of us had ever seen in our lifetime. It could have been meteorites, some kind of spacecraft or military vehicle but it was not normal.

Prince George, British Columbia A Black Triangle UFO

Full Description of event/sighting: Sometime in July of 1999, I was outside throwing a ball for my dog, I looked up, and there was a Black Triangle about 50 feet above me. It made absolutely no sound, and didn't move at all. It was not transparent, I could not see through it, at the time, thinking I was just seeing things, I looked back down, then up again, and it was gone.

Laval, Quebec A Triangular Shaped UFO

Shape of objects: Triangle.
Weather Conditions: Night + Clear Skies.
Description: I was talking on the phone and went outside to have a smoke. I looked up at the sky and saw a triangle shape object with 3 lights(white) on each point of the triangle. I thought it was a jet or a plane at first but then it covered so much space in so little time. Something that would not be possible for a jet or plane. I would say that if I were to put my thumb in the air pointing in that direction the object covered a 6 foot distance (in comparison to my thumb) in less than half a second. It must have been about 30,000 feet high or so. Many planes pass over my house and this was definitely not a plane. The area I saw it in was in the postal code h7w5h1 area and it was heading North/West away from Laval. I am out every night with my binoculars and camcorder since then.

London, Ontario Huge Long Triangular UFO

Time: 8:00 or 9:00 p.m.

Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Extremely large and shaped like a long triangle
Weather Conditions: Clear and cold.
Description: I was 11 years old and lived in a condo complex in the Whiteoaks Area of London. I remember the year because it was the year that Elvis passed away and I remember I was at my friends house when her mom told us. I only lived in that complex for a year. I was with my friends little sister and we were going back to my condo which was across and up a few from theirs on the private road in the complex. Cassandra and I were walking up the middle of the road heading to my driveway when all of a sudden directly over our heads was a large black mass. It was extremely large. The object was just above the roof tops of the condos which are only 2 story structures. I would compare it to the size of 747 Aircraft. The object was completely silent. We didn't hear a single noise from it before or after it passed over us.
Needless to say, Cassandra and I freaked out and went screaming to my mom inside. We both told her exactly what we saw, probably both at the same time because we were hysterical. I remember thinking at the time that the best way to describe it would be as a prehistoric bird. I know for sure that at that time in my life I didn't know anything about UFO's. I remember Cassandra and I being uncontrollable scared and my dad had to have her mom come over. We both saw the object but I lost contact with their family after we moved. I have often thought about that thing and have never spoken about it because I thought people would think I was crazy. I am sure Cassandra never forgot it either, even though she was approximately 9 or 10 at the time. I also remember it was the fall because I remember it was around the time of Halloween because my mother told us that we were just scared of the decorations and our imaginations
got the better of us.
I can recall the night like it was yesterday and have never forgotten that night. If my imagination played a trick on me then Cassandra's mind saw the same thing at the same moment I did. I often have wondered if anyone else ever saw anything that night either. I can't imagine that we were the only 2 to see an object that large flying over our heads.

St. Johns, Newfoundland A Bright Ball Of Fire 500 Feet Above Us

Weather Conditions: Clear nighttime.
Description: A friend and I were stealing crabapples from a catholic priests house on top off a hill that could oversee the city of St. Johns, Newfoundland Canada. It was late evening around 6.00 pm, we were about leave when this bright round ball of fire about 500 feet above us . At 500 feet it was the size of a 14x14ft circle pool or seemed to have a ring of fire around it . It was suspended over us for at lease 15 minutes we both were in shock and stood there it took
off in the night skies quicker than anything I have ever seen still and I have been to many USA airforce shows and seen many super jets takeoff none can match the takeoff that night nobody would believe us we were just some kids that made up a story. No story, I am still bothered I was 12 years old and now 39 still living in the USA.
TV/Radio: Forgive my writing.I am 39 years old we left Newfoundland Canada in 1982 and moved to the United States this UFO sighting has always been with me.

Description: A friend and I were stealing crabapples from a catholic priests house on top off a hill that could oversee the city of St. Johns, Newfoundland Canada. It was late evening around 6.00 pm, we were about leave when this bright round ball of fire about 500 feet above us . At 500 feet it was the size of a 14x14ft circle pool or seemed to have a ring of fire around it . It was suspended over us for at lease 15 minutes we both were in shock and stood there it took
off in the night skies quicker than anything I have ever seen still and I have been to many USA airforce shows and seen many super jets takeoff none can match the takeoff that night nobody would believe us we were just some kids that made up a story. No story, I am still bothered I was 12 years old and now 39 still living in the USA.
TV/Radio: Forgive my writing.I am 39 years old we left Newfoundland Canada in 1982 and moved to the United States this UFO sighting has always been with me.

Oshawa, Ontario A Long White/Silver Wingless Object (UFO)

Hi Brian, hope you are keeping well with your back. I wanted to share with you, a unknown sighting that occurred recently over Oshawa, Ontario. On Saturday, May 24, 2008, at about 6:30pm. I was on my deck, cooking on the BQ. I felt the urge to look up in the sky to the west and then to the east. At that moment looking east of my position. I noticed very high in the sky. A long white/silver “wingless“ object moving across with a slight jerking motion, heading towards Lake Ontario. As I watched it, my mind thought of running in the house to grab a member of the family to witness this thing. Or should I run in the house to get my camera. Instead, I just froze, as I watched this missile like object move across the sky from north to south. I watched it for about 15 -20 seconds, as it moved further from my view. The conditions of the sky had a slight veil of cloud. Due to it’s altitude, I’m sure it passed over without anyone else detecting it. In truth, I’m a little freaked about the timing. Very uncanny to witness a UFO ,from a urge in looking up to the sky. I gather something’s going on in our skies. I leave this report just with you. Take care and hope you are keeping well

Here is the other incident around 9:00am this Saturday morning. I saw a contrail do a sling shot change of direction, from south east to south west, accelerate while climbing in altitude. I waited to see it on the other side of the high cloud, and did not. However another plane appeared from a more northerly direction which would have been a miraculous move on the other planes part. Maybe they were on a collision course, but the other disappeared. Maybe the two incidents are related. Thank you.

Vernon, British Columbia Lights And Morphing Black Shape

Hi Brian, Last night I was out on the balcony around 11:00pm when a bright light appeared above the eastern horizon. I fetched the binoculars and saw two headlights of a plane. It seemed to fly slowly over Vernon heading west. What was different about this plane was there were no flashing aviation lights, just the two lights that as they appeared closer seemed as though they had an upper "eye-lid", the lights appeared to be like slits. The closer the plane got the lights appeared to also be off kilter, one ahead of the other.
At the height the plane was, I heard no plane noise. The air conditioner next door was louder. There again appeared to be some morphing black shape around the lights, maybe like plane wings, but that I will never be sure of, other than the appearance of the heavy black cloud like morphing around the lights.

South Of Ottawa Ontario 3 Unusual Lights In A Linear Order

Location of Sighting: South of Ottawa Ontario, Highway 416 about 4 km before 401 on ramp.

Shape of objects: Spherical linear array of lights irregular patterns.
Full Description of event/sighting: I apologize, as it has been months since I have chosen to further research any other sightings of our strange experience. I'm not certain anymore, exactly how many weeks following the 2008 new years this occurred although I know it was a Friday. My girlfriend and I were late leaving Ottawa on our way to see family in Martintown. In order to make up for lost time we chose to get their via 416. We had been driving for only about half an hour to 45 minutes when we were approaching the split that directs you onto the 401 heading east. Our conversation was abruptly interrupted when we both witnessed something very abnormal in the sky. Before either of us had the chance comment we observed 3 brighter than usual lights appear in linear order to the east of the highway.
They than disappeared as they appeared (1 light on, second, than third and vise-versa). Within seconds of the third light disappearing, the 3 lights reappeared to the western side of the highway (much further west than east to the highway). The lights reappeared in a different pattern consisting of second, third, then first and quickly disappeared in yet a different pattern third, first, then second never to be seen by us again. That was our experience. We are young adults although we grew up in that very area and are well aware of aircraft lights and all land based structures containing lights and their patterns. As skeptics ourselves we thought logically and attempted to rationalize the sighting, although everything we were able to rule out. I will never forget it, and we could not have been the only ones to witness it. If there is any one out there that can recall the same experience please email me, I am very curious. Either we witnessed something remarkable or we saw one hell of a plane.

Full Description of event/sighting: I am (name removed), a grade 11 student at Christ the King Secondary School in Georgetown Ontario. My mom (name removed) (42 yrs old), and my brother (13 yrs old at the time) were just sitting down and watching TV while I was in summer school. My mom took a quick peek out the window towards Eaton Park. She saw something in the sky that didn't look like an ordinary kite. It was just hovering there for a good minute. My mom called my brother over to the window. They both looked at it for a while until it tilted horizontally. (it started out vertically flat) And then it just shot out of sight. It was an unexplainable event. The only explanation we have is that it was an Unidentified Flying Object.

Kitchener, Ontario 5 Glowing Lights In A Triangular Formation

Shape of objects: Triangle.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was out look at the clear dark sky filled with stars, since we didn't have clear sky in couple of weeks. I was just staring at the stars and glazing at the brightest ones. All of a sudden 5 glowing lights (non-flashing) in shape of a triangle crossed the sky at incredible speed without making a noise. the objects had a shape, I mean that the 5 bright objects were attached. the moved too fast to be any plane made on earth, and also although the sky was clear and so were the lights that were being emitted from the objects, the object looked wavy, like an effect you would see when observing a mirage.

Full Description of event/sighting: While on my computer I heard a loud intense noise outside, it was like a steam boiler letting off steam or an oil derrick burning. It had a bubbly crackling sound, very loud and it lasted for about a minute and then faded away. The sky conditions were cloudy, no wind or very little. I live not to far from the highway and this wasn't highway noise, nor is there an air traffic route over head.

Salmon Arm, British Columbia Red/Orange UFO Changes Direction

Hello Brian Vike, I'm (name removed) and have sent you a post about a UFO sighting that happened quite some time ago so you might remember who I am. Well, last night while I was camping I saw this reddish orange light in this tree. So I got up and thought the tree was on fire, but then I realize it was something in the sky. It looked almost like a comet was about to fall into our lake, or something pretty big was going to crash. But it got closer and closer until I could see the red/orange and white lights flashing, so by that time I knew this wasn't something normal. I brought out my phone and got a very small picture of the light and not even a minute later it looked like it changed direction on a dime and it was off deep into the sky again similar to were it first came into view. I am almost 100% this was not a star or a satellite because they are not this close to earth and cannot move that fast and change direction, also it had no noise, not even a little. This sighting was in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, about 10:15pm on Sunday May.18, 2008 at the campground called Sandy Point. Well that's about it and I thank you again for reading my sighting. Feel free to post this and write back, also if anybody else says the same thing then let me know because I will answer questions if there is any. Hello Brian Vike, I'm (name removed) and have sent you a post about a UFO sighting that happened quite some time ago so you might remember who I am. Well, last night while I was camping I saw this reddish orange light in this tree. So I got up and thought the tree was on fire, but then I realize it was something in the sky. It looked almost like a comet was about to fall into our lake, or something pretty big was going to crash. But it got closer and closer until I could see the red/orange and white lights flashing, so by that time I knew this wasn't something normal. I brought out my phone and got a very small picture of the light and not even a minute later it looked like it changed direction on a dime and it was off deep into the sky again similar to were it first came into view. I am almost 100% this was not a star or a satellite because they are not this close to earth and cannot move that fast and change direction, also it had no noise, not even a little. This sighting was in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, about 10:15pm on Sunday May.18, 2008 at the campground called Sandy Point. Well that's about it and I thank you again for reading my sighting. Feel free to post this and write back, also if anybody else says the same thing then let me know because I will answer questions if there is any. I have a picture if you wanted to see it just let me know. Thank you.

Time: 9:31 - 9:35 p.m.
Location of Sighting: George Street and Albert Franck Place.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Star-like.
Full Description of event/sighting: Size : Perhaps a marker dot at arms length, couldn't have been very big. Color: Amber. Height of object: 500-800 Meters about ground (I judge best in meters because it's easier for me since I was a rower). Motion: Smooth, and very steady. Speed: Very slow, maybe 10-15 mph. Sound: None.
Flight Path: from Lower Jarvis and the Lakeshore (SW of my location) to Sherbourne and Esplanade (NE of my location). It went right over Albert Franck Place and George Street. My location: 5th floor of apartment building facing Gardner and the Lakeshore. Weather: Clear night except for some clouds to the South East and a breeze(don't know which direction it was coming from). The stars were very visible that night and the Moon was nowhere in sight.
The sighting: It was a beautiful night and I was just looking out the window when I saw what I first thought was a star and then it began to effortlessly float towards my direction. It reminded me of tree fluff floating in the wind except it gave off a feeling of solid and steady. I studied it for about 2 minutes trying to figure out what it was as it was clearly no plane and was not a flight path I recognized. I then ran for my camera and came back about 10 seconds later and started recording it. I then say my mother waking along the street below and I yelled down to her to see if she too could see what I was seeing. She yelled back that she could indeed see it but dismissed it as a plane. I told her that I didn't think it was a plane because I had not seen any flash pattern as of yet and by then it had gone over our heads and was now going away from us. She then continued on her way home and continued to try and capture it on video.
I watched it for about another minute or so and then it went out of sight around the corner of the building. I decided to try and get a closer look up on the roof. However, I desperately had to pee before heading up and put some pants on! It took me about 5 minutes to get up on the roof and by then it was gone.
Notes : I did catch the thing on film but it wasn't very good footage and most of the time the light didn't even register on the screen. But I think it was most surely not a plane as there was no flash pattern whatsoever. I was able to see this thing as it coming at me and when it was right near me and over me and then as it went away. Therefore, I as able to see it at least 3 different angles and at no time did the appearance chance nor make a sound. If it were a plane or helicopter I would have heard it or seen some light flashing as at least one angle.
The Next night (May 23rd 2008) : I saw two more lights that looked liked what I have just described. One was at 10:30 p.m. and the other was at 11:59 p.m. The first one followed a similar flight path and second one I spotted as it came from the CN Tower on the south side and then went straight across and along the Esplanade and right over my friend and I as we were on the roof chatting. She too saw the light and agreed that there was no sound. I watched it pass over and went way out East till the light was too faint to detect.
Notes : I'm pretty sure that these weren't planes either because of their lack of flash patterns. I very much acquainted with the skies and I take note of flight paths and I know what a place looks like! Sea Gulls can too be quite a creepy sight at night but I've come accustomed to them too! I'm not sure what I saw. Maybe it was a Satellite or a new kind of plane that doesn't have lights and is on a new flight path, it could be possible. But right now I'm classifying them as unidentified lights!

Between Saskatoon And Dundurn, Saskatchewan 12 Orange Orbs

Location of Sighting: Between Saskatoon and Dundurn.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 12
Shape of objects: Orb like, disappearing and reappearing.
Full Description of event/sighting: Driving along grid roads about 3:00 am. Orange orbs begin appearing in sky, 3 or 4 present at time, when one disappears another would appear went on for about 15 to 20 minutes. I called a friend living near Clavet and my friend could see same lights in sky, he was over 15 kms away.
Seemed to be fairly high in sky but not that far south of where I was. Lights seemed to disappear until I could see one hopping low above fields a few miles to the south.
Lost sight of it. when I went down in that direction about a mile or two later. There was all kinds of dust that was blowing around from the grid like a wind storm had just gone through minutes before.
did not see anything else that night. I realize I was quite close to the army base but they were not flares, they held there presence in the sky for minutes at a time without movement, and the second one disappeared another would appear. the most we remember seeing in the sky at one time was probably 10 to 12.
