3 Orange Colored Lights In The Sky Over Salmon Arm British Columbia

Date:  January 2014

Time:  Evening.

I can't get it out of my head, I saw 3 orange lights, here in Salmon Arm, British Columbia.

It was a couple weeks ago and they were just hovering and in a row, in the night sky.

I was looking out the windshield trying to see better. I decided to pull over to get out and look because it was so bizarre, and they had disappeared. I could tell they weren't airplanes or helicopters.

Thank you to the witness for their sighting report.

Two Really Bright Objects Seen Over Salmon Arm British Columbia (Venus And Jupiter)

Date:  March 20, 2012
Time:  Approx: 7:40 p.m.

I live in Salmon Arm and I went out to my hot tub tonight at about 7:40. The sky was still pretty light, but I noticed that there were two very bright lights, one above the other in the west sky.

There were no stars visible anywhere as it was quite light still. I have been watching them for over an hour now. The stars have finally appeared, but pale in comparison. These lights are much bigger and far brighter than anything else in the sky.

They are not moving and appear quite low in the sky in comparison to the stars. Very odd. Not twinkling. Is it possible that these lights are Venus and Mars?

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

White Light Brightens Changing To A Faint Blue Seen From Salmon Arm British Columbia

Date:  March 1, 2012
Time:  8:45 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 3
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Hello, my name is (name removed) and my wife, neighbour, and I saw a UFO at approximately 8:45 p.m. on Thursday March 1, 2012 in the Salmon Arm British Columbia area.

Although the object was a considerable distance away, it was still interesting to see, as well it may help add credibility any one else who may have seen the object.

There are two planets in our night sky, I don't know which planets, but they are planets, which are located about 30 and 40 degrees above the horizon in the western sky.

About 10 degrees above the horizon, almost due west from us was a bright light that was at least as bright as the afore-mentioned planets.

We watched for almost a minute when it slowly got dimmer and changed from a bright white to a faint blue pin point, looking like a faint star. At this point I was feeling disappointed that it was disappearing already.

Happily, it began to brighten up again, becoming a white light again. We went to my neighbours house, to watch it through his binoculars. By the time we walked to his deck the light was as bright as we originally saw it.

My neighbour looked through the binoculars and saw "four square lights side by side".

When it was my turn, I saw several square lights stuck together, but it was very difficult to hold the binoculars steady. I rested my elbows on his BBQ to steady my view and looked again.

The light appeared to only have one light, then became smaller, quickly went to a blue point and disappeared.

From the time I looked in the binoculars for the second time, it disappeared in less than two seconds. At that point my neighbour shouted "did you see that!?"

This is the third time my wife has seen this light in the same part of the sky in the last two or three months, but the first time for me.

I enjoy looking at the stars, and quite familiar with what satellites and planes look like because I've seen both often, and this was nothing like those.

I am writing to you in hopes that someone got a closer view and our sighting would help them out in proving that they did see something.

Thanks for your time.

Salmon Arm, British Columbia Red/Orange UFO Changes Direction

Posted: May 26, 2008

Date: May 18, 2008
Time: Approx: 10:15 p.m.

Hello Brian Vike, I'm (name removed) and have sent you a post about a UFO sighting that happened quite some time ago so you might remember who I am. Well, last night while I was camping I saw this reddish orange light in this tree. So I got up and thought the tree was on fire, but then I realize it was something in the sky. It looked almost like a comet was about to fall into our lake, or something pretty big was going to crash. But it got closer and closer until I could see the red/orange and white lights flashing, so by that time I knew this wasn't something normal. I brought out my phone and got a very small picture of the light and not even a minute later it looked like it changed direction on a dime and it was off deep into the sky again similar to were it first came into view. I am almost 100% this was not a star or a satellite because they are not this close to earth and cannot move that fast and change direction, also it had no noise, not even a little. This sighting was in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, about 10:15pm on Sunday May.18, 2008 at the campground called Sandy Point. Well that's about it and I thank you again for reading my sighting. Feel free to post this and write back, also if anybody else says the same thing then let me know because I will answer questions if there is any. I have a picture if you wanted to see it just let me know. Thank you.

Thank you to the witness for their report.
