Full Description of Event/Sighting: We seen orange lights that moved across sky without any noise. Then they just disappeared, then about 5, maybe 10 minutes later a military helicopter flies over with searchlights on.

Then maybe 2 minutes later we see another orange light do same thing as the first one did. It wasn't a plane or jet, or firework or helicopter. Maybe some kind of weather balloons Do they let two of them go that close?

I have never seen helicopters flying grid pattern at night around here in last 30 years on July 4. If anybody else reports something in this area I would like to know, thank you.

Multiple Orange Lights Spotted Flying Over Kalamalka Lake Vernon British Columbia

Time:  Just before midnight.

Hi there, my friend and I were walking minutes before midnight on New Years eve of this year (a few days ago) and we came across multiple bright orange glowing orbs adorning the skies.

They were below the clouds and you could see a space between the lights and the clouds. There were no search lights shining up and no reflection of light beams from the ground.

They were not present upon the bottom of the clouds, but lower. They were right over our heads and made no noise. It moved unlike any plane or helicopter zigzagging.

My friend saw three from his vantage point in the trees, yet when I first spotted them there were at least five. My friend is a total skeptic yet when the last of the orbs vanished he told me he had never seen anything like that in his life and did not feel it was man made.

He stated he felt like he truly saw UFO's. The last orb hovered above us for about two minutes and I have not seen anything like that in my life.

It was not fireworks or a plane, jet or any other man made device. It was not lights shining up from the ground. Neither of us could find any explanation for what we saw.

As a person who has been abducted in the past, I know what my gut told me. These were vehicles of some sort from beyond our planet.

Witness Reports Orange Lights Moving Across The Sky Over Vernon British Columbia

I saw a strange orange light moving across the sky tonight,  Friday September 19, 2014 at about 9:00 p.m. in Vernon, British Columbia. I took a video with my phone, but it is hard to see what I saw in this video.

It looked like a fireball moving across the sky. It just sort or blinked a bit at the end and disappeared.

3 Orange Coloured Lights Seen Flying Over Vernon British Columbia

Time:  Approx: 9:00 p.m.

Location: On our deck, facing northeast

Our experience is similar to the other letter I saw from yesterday from Vernon, B.C. We saw 3 orange coloured lights in the sky facing northeast. When we first looked, we saw three and watched as, from our viewpoint,  they just seemed to be there and not moving.

They were fairly close together and in a triangle formation. We watched them for about 1 to 2 minutes and then they just went out one by one. There was no noise associated with the lights.

Weird. And how close they were to each other was very strange. Never seen anything like it. Thanks.

Three Bright Lights Flying Over Vernon British Columbia

Time:  Evening.

Hi there, I live in Vernon and from my living room window my mom and I just saw three flying bright lights. At first it was just one and what made me notice is that a second one suddenly appeared quickly, and they were flying so close to each other.

Then the third one appeared and they just sat stationary triangle formation for half or a whole minute. Then flew again and then faded out one by one. Was very very weird to the point my mom got scared!

I just Googled UFO Vernon, British Columbia and came across your post. That was the weirdest flying objects I have ever seen happen. Inexplicable  really.

You're welcome Brian, thanks for your reply and checking into it. I have a video, but it doesn't really show well enough what truly happened and also a photo which didn't turn out very well because apparently my window is quite spotty lol, but I have attached the photo to this email.


It only shows two of the lights and it is in the upper right hand of the photo. There were three lights. My mom thinks they were more orange in color. It was so weird how they just faded out gradually one by one.

They didn't fly away, just started blinking/twinkling and then faded into the background sky.

It was so strange to watch them fly into formation and be so close to each other and pause for 30 to 60 seconds.

My mom got scared! If you do hear from anyone else that also witnessed it I'd appreciate knowing too! Thanks and goodnight.

2 Bright Orange Lights Spotted In The Sky Over Vernon British Columbia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My daughter and I were leaving our house to go the store when my daughter was standing in our yard looking up and said, mom look.

I looked up and there were 2 orb like bright orange lights in the sky. At first they seemed to be hovering, then slowly moved to the right, then one moved straight up in sky and disappeared.

Then about 10 seconds later the second one did the same thing. Total time was roughly 2 minutes. Neither one of us have seen anything like this before.

Yellow/Orange Lights Spotted Flying Over Vernon British Columbia

At about 8:45 p.m. on October 7th, 2012 I saw the same sort of thing. It was almost like yellow/orange lights flying very low and made no sound.

It was flying southwest near the Army Camp (Mission Hill area).

It flew right over my house and disappeared over some houses down the block. It was sort of hard to tell how high it was, but for as close as it seemed it couldn't have been plane because it was silent.

Unknown Light Seen Over Two Days Flying Above Vernon British Columbia Canada

 

Date:  June 11 and 12 2012

Time:  After dusk.

Shape of Objects: A light, not sure if under object or object is a full round light.

 

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Hi Brian, two events to report, of the same light.

 

Monday night June 11, 2012 and Tuesday night June 12, 2012. I saw heading east after 10:00 p.m. a light flying low over Vernon.

 

It was flying just under the low clouds altitude, or around the altitude that the small planes take when they are landing at the airport.

 

It remained bright over town until it descended at Iron Mountain.

I can only describe it as bright, cruising slowly and steady.

The light fly’s low enough to be able to hear nothing, no sound. It cruises over Vernon, casually.

Bright White Light Spotted Over Vernon British Columbia

 

Date:  February 26, 2012

Time:  Approx: 10:00 p.m.

 

Tonight (26th February, 2012) I saw a bright white light in the sky in Vernon, B.C. It flashed every second to every second and a half.

 

It traveled at high speeds (2x that of a jet-liner) from south-west to north-east, flying through the area in a zig-zag pattern.

 

It had no visible port starboard lights, as did the airliner moving across from east to west at approximately 10:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

Two Bright Glowing Orange Objects/Lights Over Vernon British Columbia

 

Date:  February 3, 2012

Time:  6:10 p.m.

Shape of Objects: Orange glowing object.

 

Full Description of Event/Sighting: At 6:10 p.m. I noticed two bright glowing orange orbs in the sky above Vernon towards the south. They were both hovering at what seemed to be the same height as a low flying aircraft.

 

There were also two planes towards the west. The two orange objects looked nothing like the planes. They were solid orange in color and resembled a planet in brightness.

 

One of the objects hovered while the other one, which was lower moved upwards. Once both objects were parallel they faded away quickly. The whole sighting lasted two minutes at most.

 

They definitely stood out in the sky as being something very unusual.

Daytime Fireball With Tail Observed Over Vernon British Columbia

 

Date:  February 9, 2008

Time:  Between 4:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

 

I believe I saw the same daylight fireball February 9 near Vernon, BC. It was between 4:15 and 4:30 p.m. I was walking towards my house when I saw a bright white light in the sky to the north.

 

It seemed quite low to the ground and quite close to Vernon, and was heading on a downwards trajectory of about 45 degrees.

 

It was too large and too bright to be a plane, so I assumed it had to be a meteor. It never diminished in brightness during the time I was able to see it, and I actually saw a trail of what looked like smoke behind it.

 

There was also a reddish light that could have been flame. Eventually it got low enough in the sky that the other houses in the neighborhood blocked my view, and I have no idea whether it continued flaming or made impact anywhere.

 

I haven't heard of anyone else in Vernon so far who observed it.

White Ball With Tail Streaking Through The Sky Over Predator Ridge Golf Course Vernon British Columbia

Time:  Approx: 4:30 p.m.

 

my wife and I were driving north on Highway 97 at Baileys corner at the turn off to Predator Ridge golf course at about 4:30 p.m. Monday February 9, 2009 and we saw a large bright white ball streaking through the sky westward and descending.

 

It had a long trail of what looked like fire trailing behind. the sun was very bright and at first it almost appeared to be an aircraft possibly on fire but it was travelling at an incredible speed.

 

It disappeared behind the hills and out of sight.

Huge Bright Lit Object Falling From The Sky Over Vernon British Columbia

Time: Evening.

My husband and I were just in the hot tub and suddenly we saw what we thought was a falling star, but quickly realized it was huge, bright white and falling straight down. It was partially cloudy so the comet would go behind a cloud and then show up again where the sky was clear. It lit up the cloud behind it with a bright glow. Wow!

Unknown UFO Filmed Over Vernon British Columbia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: At around 4:40pm my mom noticed a bright white orb shaped stationary object in the sky to the east, she called me outside and we watched it together for about 5 minutes before it slowly started moving north.

It appeared to be flashing/reflecting light.

I wasn't able to tell how far away it was, but while we were watching it standing still in the sky a small plane flew by it.

It was definitely further away than the plane, but while it was moving to the north it appeared to be in front of the clouds. After the object was out of sight a commercial plane flew by in the same area. I will email photos.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Around 9:45 pm last night I watched a large single bright light fly slowly at a height of under 500 feet over 25th Ave. It headed east until just past downtown Polsen Park, then it dimmed and disappeared. It was silent and slow enough to seem to be drifting along. The sighting itself lasted less than a minute for it to cover the few blocks from when I first spotted it until it disappeared. I can only describe it as a single light. Size of a large car. And silent.

So today there was a helicopter flying around and around and around here in Vernon BC all afternoon, and around 5:00 p.m. I tried to take a picture of it when I saw something below it. I had seen a pearl UFO the other day as well, but didn't get a picture. This time I was ready. I will attach the pictures and you are welcomed to post it. Full Description of Event/Sighting: Hi Brian, last night after 10:00pm I was hanging out on my balcony enjoying the night air when overhead a bright star like object caught my attention. It was travelling east. At the time I saw it, it was very bright white. It flew east over Vernon toward the mountain and began to slowly dim, and as it was dimming I saw what appeared to be a red light underneath. The height it was flying seemed to be approximately where the small planes will fly when circling Vernon. It was low, bright and slowly crossed over downtown Vernon. Take care.

Vernon, British Columbia Canada A Large Object With Multicolored Lights

Shape of Objects: Unsure.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Hi Brian, my wife came home last night after picking up her son at about 10:30 p.m. She asked me to come outside as she said there were some weird lights up in the sky. In the southwestern sky we saw a large object with multicolored lights on it, appearing as if it were sitting still. We then started scanning the sky and noticed there were others that seemed to be higher up in the sky. We could only detect blue and red lights on these ones and from our viewpoint, it only looked like two lights, side by side.

There were two that seemed to be actually moving and they moved side by side from east to west. It took approximately three minutes for the lights to move to the horizon where we could no longer see them. They appeared to come closer together at the horizon and then quickly spread apart. By this time we had phoned friends in nearby Kelowna and other friends at the north end of town here in Vernon and they all confirmed seeing exactly the same lights. Another one appeared in the northeast.

The remaining lights all seemed to be remaining static in one place and seemed to be higher up in the night sky. The largest one that my wife first saw seemed to be dropping slowly towards the horizon. At one point with the binoculars we could see lights that were green, purple, red, white and blue on it. It finally dipped out of our view. On speaking to my sister-in-law who lives in Langley, BC, this morning, she confirmed seeing a red and blue lighted object out of her bedroom window last night that seemed to just be sitting in one spot as well. She did not go outside to investigate.

We have also seen one of these exact same objects last July, moving slowly across the northeastern horizon one night and another one was sighted on January 31,2008.
