Time: Evening.
Hi, I too saw this object. Just outside Victoria BC at Beaver Lake summer of 2008. Was resting on the beach looking up to the sky and noticed a stationary circular white object. The object was pretty much around the middle of the sky, to high to be a planet.
I watch the object for awhile, went home and could still find it in the sky a few hours latter, roughly middle of the sky.
