Time: Dusk.

Shape of Objects: Round light.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: In a semi-residential area, a bright white light possibly 1-2 hundred feet up in the air above a small hill we were near the foot of.
It was silent, hovered for quite some time (5-10 minutes?) and then silently moved away gradually upwards at a speed much greater than a helicopter's.
