Chilliwack, British Columbia Beams Of Lights

Posted: March 3, 2009

Date: Late July 2003
Time: Just past midnight.

I read up on the website you have about these weird lights, I myself seen them but my sighting differs from the rest. I am located in Chilliwack, B.C. a little further west then the other sightings. This may not even be the same thing at all.It was late at night probably past midnight and I saw a couple white lights flash across the sky as far as I could see both ways. It was not a steady orb of light or a moving object, it was a very bright light that traveled from horizon to horizon instantly, it did not take any time to travel across the sky. After seeing about 5 of these, I told my father what I was seeing so he could also see it and believe me when I told him. We watched for a few more minutes with nothing, but then it happened again with about 11 bursts of light across the sky. All of these lights where bright solid white and after the white flashes died down I also seen a bright red light flash across, but I only seen this once.I am still wondering what the cause of these flashes were, I have done a lot of research on new weapon's and possible out of atmosphere defensive systems but this does not seem to match up with any.I thought I would share what I seen with you, hoping this can further help you, this is not the only weird sighting I have seen. I have seen steady orbs of light stay in one position then in seconds move distances no earth space craft could. Also I have seen a few objects disappear before my eyes. Thanks.

Thank you to the witness for their sighting report.

Surrey, British Columbia Bright Light And Flashes Of Light (Pictures)

Posted: March 3, 2009

Date: March 2, 2009
Time: Approx: 7:20 p.m.

Hi, I live in Surrey, British Columbia. I looked out my front porch around 7:20 and then looked to the east of me and saw a very bright light that seemed to move a little then stop. I also noticed a quick flash to the right of it. After about 20 minutes of watching it, somebody was saying that Venus was visible right now and on how bright it is, then that flash not far off from it's right. It doesn't make sense. Is there a possible explanation for this as I'm very curious. Thank you for your time and patience. I took these pictures with a 4 megapixel camera, I hope they can help.

Thank you to the witness for their report and photos.

Prince Rupert. British Columbia Bright Light Hovers Then Moves Off

Posted: February 23, 2009

Date: February 20, 2009
Time: Evening.

Last night, February 20, 2009 there appeared to be the same bright light off the west coast of Prince Rupert, B.C. I first noticed it on Sunday eve passed. I thought it was a bit bright and strange. But last night it does the same thing as the other nights. It goes really bright and then it fades. I was discussing this with my husband who is a fisherman and he said they saw the same light out fishing the other night. But this light had moved when they were fishing and it hovered down low then took off. We believe it is the same light, because it is in the same spot as before. We are not sure what it is, but it is definitely not normal. We live right on the harbor side of Prince Rupert and it is very bright at times. Well not sure what it is, but it is not a normal star. Maybe it's a UFO. Thanks for your interest.

Thank you to the witness for their sighting report.

UFOs Or ? Caught On Film Chathamkent In Southwestern, Ontario (Picture)

Posted: February 22, 2009

Date: February 14, 2009
Time: Daytime.

this is a photo that was taken on a landscape photo session that my sister does quite often. She does not know what to make of it but it does present some intriguing ?

This was taken from Chathamkent in southwestern Ontario. I've never seen something like this before except on TV and the internet, it may be nothing but then again we can't figure it out. It was taken on February 15 2009.

Additional Information:

Hi Brian, My sister was simply driving and taking photos, not really paying any attention. She discovered it when she viewed her pictures afterwards.
Nothing in any other frames before or after the photo was taken. She takes hundreds of pictures. I guess sooner or later something would show up kind of unexplainable. She said post it no problem.

Thank you to the person for sending in the report and thanks to his sister for allowing me to post the photo.

North Of Highway 401, West Of Highway 400, Toronto Meteor Sighting

Posted: February 18, 2009

Date: January 19, 2009
Time: Approx: 8:08 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Resembled a falling star.
Weather Conditions: Clear night sky with some clouds, and it was cold, sub-zero celsius.

Description: Meteor Sighting

On Monday, 19 January 2009, I was driving north on highway 427 in Etobicoke ON, and approaching the eastbound ramp to highway 401, when I started watching a commercial passenger plane that had apparently just taken off in an eastward direction. As I was merging onto the 401, the plane was still ahead of me and slightly to the east. I'd guess it was a few hundred feet above the ground. It was approximately 8:08 p.m. when I saw what looked like a shooting star low in the sky, falling straight down, in a slightly westward direction. From my angle, it appeared to be slightly behind and below the passing plane. So at first I thought it might have come from the plane, but then later I thought it must be a meteor because the plane wasn't high enough for a dropped object to heat up from friction. The object was bluish-white hot in colour. So it probably entered the atmosphere from space and started burning up on the way down. I watched it for two or three seconds before it would have reached the ground. I didn't actually see it hit the ground, as it went out of sight behind the skyline of some low buildings. From my angle it appeared to have landed north and east of the Radisson Hotel in Rexdale, and to me it appeared to be quite close, maybe a kilometer or two away. However, it's hard to judge distance when you don't know the size of an object, so it could have been much farther. As I watched it fall, the object flared up and got brighter, and in the last second or so several orange sparks were flying off it in a sideways direction. I thought it might start a fire if it hit a building, or at least leave a scorch mark on the ground where it landed.

TV/Radio: I called 680 News in Toronto to report it, and the man said he had received three other calls about it last night.

Northern British Columbia Canada Police And A UFO

Posted: February 18, 2009

Date: August 13, 2009
Time: 1:00 a.m.

Number of witnesses: 3
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Light in the sky.
Weather Conditions: Clear.

Description: We were traveling South by automobile from Alaska to Washington State through Canada. At approximately 1:00 AM after entering the BC territory, several police vehicles were stopped with officers outside of their cars along roadway many miles from any town.

After passing the officers we noticed a light in the sky that appeared to be an aircraft vehicle hovering. Two of us were awake and debating what type of aircraft it was. We stopped to relieve ourselves alongside the road, still observing the lit vehicle in the sky. It then moved with such speed that we literally ran without a word to get back into the truck out of fear. We drove at a high rate of speed to the next town. When there, the object was a very great distance away and appeared to not be moving. We pointed it out to our other passenger who was now awake and to one other and debated what it was. A while later we went out from our hotel room and checked on it again, it was gone. It was never close enough to identify it's shape. The speed at which we saw it move earlier was beyond anything possible.

Ajax, Ontario Numerous UFOs

Posted: February 18, 2009

Date: January 20, 2009
Time: Approx: 9:00 p.m.

Number of witnesses: Only my wife, but caught on camera.
Number of objects: 4 big and approx 8 small.
Shape of objects: With naked eye the big ones were saucer and dome type and the small ones were some round and some triangles, but on camera they are all big round color lights.
Weather Conditions: Clear, no moon, temp. Aprox -20.

Description: Actually the sighting started after I've picked up my wife from work at Ashburn, more precisely while driving on Myrtle Rd. Westbound, then continuing on Lakeridge Rd. Southbound and Taunton Rd. Westbound. After I dropped my wife home, I grabbed my camera and I went back to get some shots. I finally saw them again while driving on Lakeridge Rd. Northbound where I stopped and start filming. Then I started to chase them and I drove up to Pickering but they disappeared and I saw lots of helicopters and very slow moving weird planes going in circles like if they lost something, looking for something.

I've managed to film approx 20-25 mins.

This is not the first time I saw UFOs, actually I could say that for me it is normal.

Maple Ridge, British Columbia Canada Fast Moving UFO

Posted: February 17, 2009

Date: February 15, 2009
Time: Approx: 7:15 p.m.

Hello, just wondering if anyone else saw a strange light in the sky last night, February 15, 2009 about 7:15 PM. We were watching TV and I happened to look out the window and noticed a light which I thought was an airplane. But then it zoomed across the sky and disappeared. It didn't leave a trail, but the light wasn't like a dot, but more like a dash. The speed with which it moved across the sky just caught me off guard. I was in Maple Ridge looking toward the west. The light did not appear to be very high up. Space junk?? Something else?? Definitely not a plane. Thank you.

Thank you to the witness for their sighting report.

Nanaimo British Columbia Canada Aircraft Or UFO ?

Posted: February 16, 2009

Date: February 12, 2009
Time: Approx: 8:00 p.m.

Hi, On Friday evening I looked out to see an aircraft with a very bright red flashing light either on the starboard side (aren't the lights required to be green on the starboard side) or rotating all around. It proceeded west to east, quite low, and soon disappeared behind the houses and trees. As soon as it was gone I saw it's twin but very high overhead. I watched it "float" slowly east for about 5 minutes, with naked eye and binoculars. Not once did I see a green light on either side of it nor a white light on the tail as I believe is also required. Just a very bright flashing starboard or a very bright rotating red light, it was hard to determine which is correct. Finally it disappeared from view way off in the east, much further than I would normally be able to keep airplane lights in view. It also did not travel as fast as an airplane. I think helicopters are also required to show the green starboard, red port, and white tail lights for safety reasons.

I failed to notice the time but would guess it was before my 7:00 o'clock on line appointment or immediately after it, at 8:00 p.m. What did I see?

Thank you to the witness for their sighting report.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Around 11:00pm I went outside for a smoke, I looked up and it was rather cloudy, but I could see an orange ball in the clouds. I saw this before in Allisten,Ontario. It stayed for only a few minutes and it was gone. Woodbridge, Ontario Canada More Witness Observe Bright White Light/Object

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Woodbridge, Ontario.Number of witnesses: 4Number of Objects: 3Shape of Objects: Round?

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was leaving the house to go to store and noticed a bright light. I thought it was a plane heading towards me in the sky and didn't think twice. I left and came back. I was gone about 30 minutes and upon entering the house the light was still there. Later (about an hour) my wife said while I was gone she went outside and seen this really bright light. (white) She watched it and it was staying in the same area. She then called my mother and father who were visiting, outside to see. My wife and I went back outside to look again after we talked the object was still there, but not as close so it didn't look so bright. There were two other smaller lights that were blinking very close to the other larger object. We didn't even think to get a picture, just dismissed it as an airplane or something.

Thank you to the witness for their sighting report.

Location of Sighting: Scarborough Bluffs, Ontario.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Round to oblong.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was walking my dog when I noticed overhead a fast, extremely low moving bright white light. It was just a matter of feet from the roof top of a home. This strange light was moving northward. There was no sound of any motor what so ever. The white light was so pure and brilliant. Shoots of this light were coming from the sides of the object which made it unclear as to the actual shape.

Whitby Ontario Canada A Bright Object/Light

Posted: February 15, 2009

Date: February 14, 2009
Time: 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Whitby Ontario Canada west sky.
Number of witnesses: 3
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Triangular.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I noticed a very bright star in the western sky last night around 7:00pm. The sky was clear and the object seemed to actually cast a very wide beam. After looking at the light for a while, I thought that perhaps it was a helicopter with a search light on. My daughter joined me and the light didn't move for a further 20 minutes. We then looked at it through binoculars and could both see a leading, very bright light like a huge fire or search light. The remainder of the overall triangular shape seemed to consist of either a number of smaller triangles or flame streaks of blue and orange. The object seemed to maintain position and configuration for the duration of our observations. We stopped checking around 11:00pm. We took a photo of the light at around 9:00pm, but it just looks like a bright light in a dark sky.

I was just outside tonight and noticed that this light phenomenon is no longer in the sky. Have you hear any other like reports? Was there a comet in the sky last night? Wondering what we saw.

Thank you to the witness for their sighting report.

Kincardine, Ontario Canada UFO Moves Like A Firefly

Time: 6:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Kincardine, Ontario.Number of witnesses: 1Number of Objects: 1Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Round (oblong) bright white light no sound and very fast. There was no smoke trail no jet sounds. It flew just under through fog among clean horizon. I couldn't see it go anywhere and lasted a slit second. I decided to report it as earlier that summer. I saw a light hover in my trees darting back and forth and thought it might be a firefly as it was small. There isn't any fireflies out this winter so I wanted to confirm I saw this light when I was out for a smoke.

Three Hills, Alberta Canada 1950's Close Encounter With A UFO And Small Alien Being

Date: 1955
Time: 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Outside,Three Hills, Alberta Canada.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: House/ship/illusion?

Full Description of event/sighting: This is something I just came to terms with a few years ago. A strange but interesting story, realized over 50 years later and totally worth the wait.

I don't know if this was a memory block put on me for 50 years ago so that it would be there when I needed it, or ? What ever it was, it was not of this world.

I have had a few other sightings over the years, on my own and with other folks, up close and personal.

I must say the realization of what happened all those years ago helped me to sort it all out. Helped me to trust myself and the experiences I have had.

This instance I remember quite vividly and could never figure it out as I got the beating of my life from my mother for doing what I thought was the right thing.( I still would think it was the right thing to do)

3-Hills in mid Alberta Canada was a very small seminary school town back in the 1950's. The old 'Henry -Jay ' ( our car) up on blocks and 60 below zero temperatures more likely then not.

Even some of the sidewalks had boilers under them. This wasn't a place where a small child would last very long out side.

It was very flat there, just 3 Hills in the distance, train tracts and vast ice fields lay beyond our little sheep shed style apartments that the students stayed in.

There were 3 instances where I had missing time in the two years we were there (1955-56) this was just another one of them until I saw a small black and white photo of our little apartment and the field beyond it just a few years ago. (04)

1955 - I was walking home from kindergarten, alone. There was a small field with a beaten path just in back of our apartments and this ended at the far end of the apartments.

Our apartment faced backwards, away from town so as I walked home the back of our apartments were visible not the front.

There were just ice fields for as far as you could see on three sides with the smaller field at the back. There was a three story older grey house out that way, a little before the field, but this was not the house I saw.

I heard crying and in the middle of the little field behind the back of our apartment and standing in the center on the path was a small child. I looked up and saw a one story house at the end of the path, so I figured that must be where he was from.

I went over, took his little hand and walked him down the path to the house. I walked up the steps and rang the door bell. ( hadn't ever seen a door bell before) A tall blond man opened the door, he was dressed in loose, seeming light clothing which was strange as it was the 50's and very cold.

Not anything I had seen before. He seemed very kind and I asked if the child belonged here as I had found him crying in the field. He said yes and thanked me and I turned to go home.

I had never left sight of the back window of our little apartment the whole time, but as I rounded the corner and went up to our door it was dark outside.

As I went inside my Mother starting screaming at me. I told her I found a small boy and took him home, but she would not stop.

I have no clue why she had a fly swatter, but she started hitting me with it, getting my hair caught etc. Of course I was screening too as I couldn't figure out how she could be so mean to do this to me, just because I saved a baby.

My Dad came out and slapped her to get her to stop and I heard noting more about it. Of course I remembered that beating the rest of my life. It never made sense to me and I of course didn't even think about it being dark when I came in the door.

That is until 2004 when I was going though some old photos. Someone had taken a picture of the train tracks cutting thought the ice fields. There was no house there.

Never was, at least in the mid 1950s' And it's much more understandable, not that it didn't suck that my mother was freaked out, not because I had been a few minutes late in cold daylight, but because I had been 5 hours late and the sun was down. It was very cold.

As I said, this was one of 3, instances and of course the one I remember the most because of my parents reaction to it. I have always thought my Dad was a Star Child, he would die physically 2 years later on November 1957 of Leukemia.

By remembering the whole instance, it was like a fountain was opened up. Things I have learned in the past are coming in and finally making sense, etc.

It seemed to bring together all the other happenings through-out my years. I have had a lot of information downloaded into my being throughout the years, sort of like a school for many years. Quite possibly this was my induction to that school ?

Thank you to the person for their report.

If anyone has witnessed the UFO/Object, please send me an email with details of what you saw. Please remember to include the date and time and location. (Town/City – State or Province) and as much detail as possible.

UFO Sightings: 'I Believe There's Life Out There'

Posted: February 10, 2009

Brian Reinhardt could see it from the Richmond side of the tunnel. It was a large rectangle with a yellowish tinge, hanging in the air to the north around 6 p.m. on a sunny evening.

He was riding a motorcycle and lifted his visor. It must be a reflection, he thought.

It wasn't, his girlfriend saw it too.

By the time he got to the south end of the Oak Street Bridge, he saw what appeared to be shadows of people moving about inside—but its massive door was closing.

Location of Sighting: Glencoe, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1 or 2 (see description)
Shape of Objects: Unknown.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I never knew exactly what this was and this would be the first time I'm reporting this, but thought that someone might be interested in this, especially since lately UFO sightings have increased by so much.

This was a few years ago and hence I don't remember all the detail, however this is my story. I was by myself, on the way home from visiting who is now my ex girlfriend. It was a clear winter night and we lived out in a very rural area with no street lights, houses, etc.

As I drove around the last few turns before emerging from the wooded windy road, I noticed a very bright blue object in my rear view mirror that was traveling in my general direction. The object passed over head me and as it did, it lit up the area around me in the same bright blue light. As it passed me and disappeared behind the tops of trees, suddenly I could see a very bright blue flash from wherever the object was and then dark, only my cars headlights to illuminate the snow covered road once again.

As I came home about 5 mins later, I told this to my mother who then says that she seen the same thing, but she seen the object travel north bound which is the exact opposite of where I seen it go.

Mind you, this could of been a meteor with debris falling off it and then crashing into ground, hence the flash, but I don't know. And I'm one who believes in UFO's and aliens existence. Either way, someday I'd like to know what it really was.

Thank you to the witness for their sighting report.
