Full Description of Event/Sighting: My parents phoned to say there were some strange lights going across the sky. At approximately 7:20 p.m. they saw two large red/orange lights moving close together.

The lights appeared in the south and moved toward the north. They eventually started heading west then suddenly disappeared.

We looked outside to see the third light following the exact same path. It looked red to the naked eye, but appeared orange in the photos we took.

After this third light disappeared like the first two, a fourth light appeared in the same starting position as the others.

It followed a similar path as the other three lights, but it was moving markedly faster than the previous lights.

Once again, it turned to the west and just disappeared.

They were all completely silent and moved slowly across the sky. They were large enough that we expected to hear some sound emitting from them but nothing. The lights appeared to be flashing or glowing brighter then darker.

No others were sighted after the fourth light.

Two Orange Balls Of Light Seen Zig Zagging Across The Sky Over Windsor Ontario

Full Description of Event/Sighting: A few moments ago, roughly at 9:35 on this day, Saturday October 13, 2012, me and my wife were walking our dog outside our apartment building and had a strange unusual sighting in the sky. Two balls of light (orange with some yellow tint) were heading north towards the Detroit way.

At first the 2 lights were apart from each other then zigzagged towards each other. One of the lights vanished, yes vanished it did not burn out like a flaming object falling from the sky. After the one ball of light vanished the second light continued to zigzag and a fairly fast rate with the same consistent orange light.

This was no meteor or shooting star as there was no tail and neither of the 2 zigzag or maneuver like the object did also it was not a Chinese lantern as there was no wind out did not have a glow to it and it was raining.

We chased after it, but lost it in a tree line.

4 Large Glowing Orange Colored Lights Seen Over Burlington Ontario

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I live on the top floor/penthouse of a 15 story high rise in Burlington, Ontario and was letting my dog outside (on the rooftop) at approximately 8:55 p.m. before leaving for work.

I observed 4 large round objects which were glowing orange in colour with no flashing lights or sound headed northwest in a loose formation.

The objects were at approx 5-7000 feet and the sky was very clear with many stars visible and aircraft seen in the distance approaching Pearson Toronto airport.

The objects moved slowly together for a few minutes before one by one they would break off from the group and change direction upward towards space accelerating quickly till they disappeared.

The objects were very large and very bright and I could not compare them to anything I have seen in the sky before.

An aircraft flew directly below them on approach to Hamilton's International Airport seconds after their departure. I called my sister and a homecare nurse who was attending to my father at the time and they also witnessed the event.

I also asked my sister to get her I-Phone out and she was able to briefly film the event. I will try to download her video to my PC in the coming days. The sighting had to have been seen by others in my community.

Red/Orange Lights Seen Flying Over South Cambridge Ontario

Date:  September 16, 2012
Time:  Between 8:27 p.m. - 8:31 p.m.

Hi there. On September 16, 2012 between 8:27 p.m. - 8:31 p.m. I saw these red/orange lights moving across South Cambridge. They moved one at a time in a due east direction.

They were about 1 minute apart and each one glowed red/orange like a fireball, but without the flame. Just a solid sphere of light, but moving between orange and red.

They did not blink like a plane tail light and they were silent.

They moved in what I could estimate was the exact same line behind each and were relatively low or were moving very fast.

I suspect low because it wasn't long until I couldn't see them move out of sight. Had they been higher like a plane, I could have tracked them for longer.

The first one moved out of sight and then approximately 60 seconds later the next would appear from over the trees in the park on Saginaw Road.

I wonder if you have any idea what these could be or seen them yourself?

Large Orange Object In The Sky Seen From Whitby Ontario

Time:  Late evening.

Hello, I've been meaning to check my sighting out (approximately late evening hours September 2012) -and finally checked the internet to see if anyone else saw the following:

My husband and I were standing on our back deck when my husband alerted me to a huge orange light moving across the tree line. It appeared to be floating and moved toward us, but was still in the sky. 

It appeared like a large orange flexible patio lantern with a yellowish light bulb inside the bottom of it. It moved slowly enough for us to watch it float westbound from our deck in Whitby, Ontario.  

My husband is a huge skeptic about UFOs, however he had no explanation for this object that we both watched for approximately 30 seconds as it floated away from us.

Please advise me if you have any other sightings like this. Thank you.

Lime Green Object As Large As A Volkswagen Beetle Shoots Across The Sky Over Timmins Ontario

Monday, October 8, 2012 we were in Timmins for work. Around 9:00 p.m. A friend and myself just left the Comfort Inn heading west for something to eat. I looked to the north sky because something caught my eye.

It was a lime green orb and it was glowing brightly and moving very fast, it look like it was crash landing. There was no sound and it went below the tree line and that was the last we seen of it.

It was as big as a 1970's Volkswagen Beetle. My friend asked if saw, what he saw? I sure did.

Orange Balls Of Light Seen Over Mattawa Ontario

I along with 5-6 other people have seen those same orange balls of fire in the sky above Mattawa on two separate occasions while visiting for the Mattawa Voyageur Days in 2011 and 2012.

They move slowly and fast in all sorts of directions at times lingering above us in the sky then disappearing.

I have spoken to my family who live there and they have seen these lights quite a few times before. What are they? They are strange.

Orange Lights Seen Flying Over The Oakridge Area Of Calgary Alberta (Pictures)

Time:  At 8:20 p.m. - 8:25 p.m.

Hi Brian, I read your post on canadaufo.blogspot.ca about the orange/red lights above Calgary on October 6th, 2012 as I was curious to know what they were when I saw them. I have attached 4 pictures and a link to a video that you can download of the moving orbs in the sky.

I uploaded the video to 4shared because it was too big for hotmail to send. The pictures and video were taken from a phone so they aren't the best quality, but you can still make out the 3-5 orbs in the distance. 

The bright prominent orange circle in the pictures must be a reflection from something (possibly my vehicle window as 1-2 of the pictures were taken with the window up). The small 3-5 dots in the distance of the picture are the orbs.

The pictures and video were taken from the Oakridge area of Calgary at 8:20 p.m. - 8:25 p.m. on October 6th, 2012. We must have caught it at the beginning of the phenomenon (8:10 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.) because my mother and I saw 10 orbs in total.

We couldn't stay to watch it all, so I couldn't tell you how many there actually were. They appeared in a sequence of 4-5, rising one at a time. There were 4 orbs to start with and they faded one by one as they got higher into the sky.

As soon as one orb would disappear, another orb seemed to rise over the horizon. At first we thought they were flares but they started making formations (triangles and lines) and moving left/right and up/down. 

I've heard that flares like to bleed as they fall and leave behind a trail of smoke. These orbs did not bleed nor did they leave behind a trail of smoke. At one point, the 3 orbs made a triangle than dispersed into a line formation.

As they dispersed from the line formation, the orb on top of the formation started to disappear and another rose shortly after.

Orange Red Fireball Lit Up The Clouds Over North Bay Ontario

Last night, October 8, 2012 I went outside to see the Northern Lights. As I was looking up at the night sky, I noticed a bright object moving in the southern sky from east to west.

It stopped behind a cloud and back lit the cloud so brightly, you would swear the moon was behind the cloud.

It then as it progressed west, it became an orange-red fire ball type object.

I had called my mother; who lives a few miles away to go out and look at the Northern lights, and she called back to say she saw a strange object in the western sky that looked like an orange red fire ball.

Orange Flashing Light Seen From Burlington Ontario

Date:  October 8, 2012
Time:  Evening.

My name is (name removed) and my girlfriend and I live on Lakeshore Road in Burlington. We are on the 10th floor looking out over the lake and have seen the orange UFO on numerous occasions. Last night it was flashing for about 4 minutes, then it was still and orange for about another 4 minutes.

After this it moved left to right very slowly, I had to double check land placements to make sure it was moving. It then disappeared off into the distance. I am going to get a better camera to capture it, but this is the 4th or 5th time where I could confirm it was not an airplane.

Large Explosion Of Neon Green Light With Tail Seen Flying Over New Liskeard Ontario

I live in New Liskeard, Ontario Canada. I saw at approximately 8:56 p.m. a large (meteorite?) In relation to the stars size? In the sky what I saw looked like the size of a volleyball and had a long tail. 

It was neon green. 

I did not see it hit, but my friend did as he lives just out of town so no buildings were blocking his view. He said there was a large explosion of large green light, but he did not mention hearing anything so I can’t begin to know where it hit or how close to my town.

Orange Lights Spotted In The Sky Near Carsland Alberta

Four of us viewed a series of orange lights in the east at 8:15 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. October 6th, 2012 near Carsland, Alberta.

Clear night, no city light to obscure view. Planes could be seen in the sky and these lights were of nothing we had ever seen.

At one point the ball of light moved from almost a stationary position with great speed horizontal to the right or south direction, it stopped and lowered on the horizon to pause again then to disappear.

We all were questioning what it could of been but a plane/ helicopter was out of the question based on brightness height as well as how fast it moved horizontally in the sky.

Bright Yellow/Orange Ball Of Fire Seen Flying Over Lac La Hache British Columbia

In Lac La Hache, British Columbia between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. we saw a bright yellow/orange globe heading east in a straight line until directly overhead.

It then veered to the north and back heading south again and continued directly south. 

The globe appeared to be almost on fire and made no noise whatsoever and the speed and direction varied. About 8 people here saw it. We lost sight of the object after about 8 minuets.

Loud Boom Shakes Home In Brampton Ontario (No Explanation)

Time:  Night time.

Dear Brian Vike, I live in Brampton, Ontario, Canada (near Toronto), on Saturday October 6th, 2012 I was in bed with my sleeping 22 month old son and I heard a very loud boom sound (best description a sonic boom), the widows rattled and I felt the house move. 

It was such a strange feeling I had. I had no idea what it was. I was worried about my Mother (63 with MS), that she may have fallen in her bathroom and was hurt. 

However, I knew that did not make any sense. Her falling could not have made the widows rattle and shake, nor the house move. I heard her a few minutes later moving around and then knew that I was correct. The sound was not her and she was okay.

The next morning while we were having breakfast my Mother asked if my son or I had fallen out of bed. I answered, "no, why?" She then told me about the loud boom she heard. 

I told her that I heard it too and thought that it was her, but that didn't make any sense.

She interrupted me and told me that the walls of the house shook. I was somewhat surprised that she experienced the same thing as me. 

My Mother then had me go check around the outside of the house, inside the house and in the garage for something very heavy that may have fallen to cause the noise. I found nothing out of place. Nothing had fallen, nothing was broken.

My Father, had been in Waterloo helping my brother finish his basement. When he got home my Mother told him this story. He then checked the entire house, just like I did earlier Sunday morning. He found nothing. 

When he was finished and said that we may have heard a sonic boom. That was when I remembered hearing a sonic boom sound on the television a long time ago. I am sure that it was not a sonic boom. It was something else. 

At that time, I remembered reading and hearing on the radio, Coast to Coast that other people in cities in the United States had experienced hearing and feeling extremely loud booms at night. 

Tonight, I did a search on the internet for a sonic boom type sound in Brampton, Toronto, Mississauga and the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) on October 6th, 2012 and came up with nothing. I did however, find your website.

A little background about me;  I am 36 years old, recently separated from my abusive husband two months ago and in fantastic physical, mental and emotional health. No depression (the separation is a very good thing), I am not under a great deal of stress, etc. Sincerely.

Green Object With Tail Hits The Ground Between South River And North Bay Northern Ontario

Hi Brian Vike, I'm from Northern Ontario. Maybe around a half hour ago (at around 9:00 p.m. on October 8th 2012) I was North-bound on the highway just outside South River (going to North Bay), when a very large fast moving green light showed up in the sky.

It started as a pin prick and grew larger very fast. I looked like a bright green shooting star with an orange burning tail. It came in at a low angle, and disappeared behind the tree line.

After losing sight of it, it appeared to impact the ground as there where a lot of red and green flashes that looked like an explosion that lit up that part of the sky.

It fell so fast and as I said it was very large. It did appear to hit the ground somewhere between South River and North Bay.

I found your page doing a Google search trying to figure out what it was. I find it odd though, as the only material that I know of that burns green is copper and they don't make satellites out of copper if I'm not much mistaken.

Yellow/Orange Lights Spotted Flying Over Vernon British Columbia

At about 8:45 p.m. on October 7th, 2012 I saw the same sort of thing. It was almost like yellow/orange lights flying very low and made no sound.

It was flying southwest near the Army Camp (Mission Hill area).

It flew right over my house and disappeared over some houses down the block. It was sort of hard to tell how high it was, but for as close as it seemed it couldn't have been plane because it was silent.

Two Pairs Of Three Bright Orange/Red Lights Over Calgary Alberta (Pictures)

Time:  Evening.

Hey, my sister and I saw the exact same thing. She was walking home and witnessed two pairs of three bright orange/red lights ascend and disappear.

Both pairs moved in non-linear paths and interacted (moved at accelerating and decelerating speeds, crossed paths).

I personally witnessed the final two (eight counted total) which ascended at varying rates in non-linear fashion.

Before disappearing at the same altitude as the rest. The very last one faded out and then re-appeared for a second before vanishing.

I honestly believe these were UFO's as there is no explanation I can conceive to explain their movement.

Attached are two pictures my sister captured. Both are from different locations on my block (she was walking home as she took them).

Another one of her friends also captured some images. I will send them over to you as soon as I receive them.
