Time:  3:30 a.m.

I woke up with terrible heartburn around 3:30 a.m. on May 6, 2014, so I went outside to sit on my front porch to have a cigarette.

The leaves were starting to bloom on the trees at that time of year, so they were not empty, yet not full. I noticed something that looked like a spotlight in the sky passing through the trees.

The light was dim light a flashlight, but much bigger, and it did not have any beams stemming from the sky or the ground. As I studied this light, I saw it moving, in a steady pace through the opening of the trees, counter-clockwise, full circle, then clockwise, but the clockwise seemed to start at the half-way point.

So, it would do 1 full circle counter-clockwise, then 1 half circle clockwise, with the clockwise not starting from where the counter-clockwise ended. It seemed to be very low and could have covered the distance of 2-3 houses on my street.

It was right above me. I sat out there for about 30 minutes and this continued the whole time. I studied the neighborhood as well to make sure the light wasn't coming from the top of a neighbor's house, and it wasn't. I went back to bed baffled.

The next day I decided to walk across the street and then go into my back yard to try to determine the diameter that this light was hovering, and my guess was right, 2-3 houses.

I only wish I would have had the nerve to go into the back yard as I witnessed this because there is a huge clearing back there. I later asked the local police department, that is located just a couple of blocks away, if they were aware of any sort of motion lights in the neighborhood, and they were not aware of any, nor were any of the neighbors.

It couldn't have been a motion light anyway, there were no beams. I'm still baffled. I keep thinking it could've been the lights that trim the bottom of an unidentified craft, and that I couldn't see the craft because of the trees. Never know.

Please let me know if there are any other similar sightings, it would help put my mind at ease.

Chilliwack British Columbia Canada More Eye Witnesses To Objects And Aircraft Circling

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was thirsty in the night and went to the kitchen to get a glass of water when I saw some bright lights outside my big bay window. My eyes were half open as I just got out of bed, so I went out onto the patio for a closer look, and hoping the fresh air would wake my senses as well.

What I saw was shocking to me. Two very bright lights that appeared to be round, but were so bright and a little bit far away to tell for sure. So I grabbed the digital camera to take a video or two. Being a little too far away for a night picture to be any decent, I decided video was the only option. With Canon Powershot I could zoom in 12x to see more clearly and up close what was out there.

The object to the left was closer, so my first video started with it up close. It was orange and red, but more orange with lights around the outside of the circle. 5 lights I believe. Neither object made a sound. These round objects appear to be spinning fairly fast in a clockwise direction. I got my girlfriend out of bed to show her as it was exciting and something you just don't see everyday.

The object to the left that was closer faded out as it moved southward. These 2 objects were seen to the west, actually just north of the silhouetted Chilliwack Mountain.

As I filmed the second video, I could see several airplanes to the south circling from over the Chilliwack airport and over Chilliwack Mountain, and it looked like they were keeping these objects on their radar. One plane, seemed to pass just past it. I was thinking, from up there it must be blinding. The other object that was more distant was the exact same, spinning clockwise, but near the end of the fourth video i took, the object started whipping back and fourth in the sky and up and down and then took off to the south where the other disappeared.

I witnessed 5 planes that I could count follow the object in what seemed to be a pursuit. Then I decided to go on the internet, found your site and was shocked to read blogs from May 22nd and May 24th and such that the exact same thing happened, down to the airplanes chasing the objects! Not sure what is going on out there, but it seems since May 22nd, almost everyday this has been going on.

I am putting the videos on the net as we speak and am going to pixilate them. Maybe a more up close will show or tell more. Were they military planes? Is this an experiment? Have UFO's come out of there dimension into this one through a fabric in time and then disappeared back? I will see if in the next couple nights more happens.

Interesting note: On May 28th, 2007 UFO's were spotted at UCFV in Chilliwack and mine was just into May 29th, so I basically call it the 28th. Seems like May is a hot month for activity strangely enough.

Thanks and if you could let me know your thoughts that would be great. Oh, one thing left out, the objects actually turned very bright white with light as if it were a giant flash and then went back to it's orangish reddish color.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Family and I have been watching a strange light in the sky for the past hour. It has been circling, hovering, and moving about the sky fairly slow.

It is a bright light, obviously not a star or a plane or a satellite. It was lower earlier, at possibly 40,000 feet, but has continued to go higher slowly.

Mountain Guide Observes Small Light Circling Large Object Over Golden British Columbia

Time:  Approximately 6:40 a.m.

Hi Brian, following is the account of a sighting I had near Golden B.C. I am a mountain guide and was working at a ski lodge 40 km. north of the town. I was up early to assist with chores and check the weather to help determine the nature and duration of the days ski trip.

On March 29, 2007 at approximately 6:40 a.m. I went outside to check the sky for cloud cover and visibility. Jupiter was prominent in the sky and one other faint star - the sky otherwise lightly obscured. I also noticed a bright light which I initially thought was a star about 30 degrees above the horizon in the west.

I became puzzled because It could not have been Venus as it was too far from the sun. I looked and wondered what is was for a couple of minutes and then I thought it maybe was moving slowly. Then as I lined it up with the side of the building I determined it was actually moving in an easterly direction. 

As I watched it slowly accelerate and before it had gone more than about 10 degrees a small light of about 1/10th it’s brightness did a perfect circle around it and then disappeared. The radius of the small lights circle was about the width of 5x the wingspan of a high flying jet.

The light then accelerated to a higher speed and proceeded across the sky and disappeared  in the eastern horizon. Just after the small light circled it I went indoors briefly and called out another guide to witness it. Its speed as it went from about 60 degrees west to overhead and then east was faster than a jet airliner.

I am a pilot with 1500 hours of mountain flying and have seen other strange phenomena several times. Two mornings later I saw a similar light in the same location but it stayed at the same location until daybreak obscured it 20 minutes later. There were no further sightings of the light.

4 Or 5 Fighter Jets Circling Unknown Craft/UFO Over Arizona

Date:  Winter of 1995 - 1996.

Here's a report in the public domain for the first time: During the winter of 1995 - 1996, while on a cross country bicycle trip I observed a 'craft' that were of a type previously unknown to me.

I had set up camp near an abandoned adobe house that was located near the U.S./Mexico border in the state of Arizona. As was my custom, while on this particular trip, I camped out most nights and would seek and or create a campsite that was somewhat difficult to see from any roads or highways, because this trip was a solo bicycle ride.

After having my evening meal I was enjoying the pleasure of watching the sunset. A black Chevy blazer with black tinted windows, one occupant and U.S. government license plates drove down an adjacent unpaved road and approached a locked gate.

The driver got out, unlocked the gate and passed through and relocked it. He began what I'd refer to as a 'recon' of the general area, using some sort of optical devise (I saw this through 8x35 Nikon binoculars). He continued this behavior, driving outside of my visual range, until the Blazer returned to the gate and passed through again. 

I thought that perhaps he was searching for illegals crossing the border. Later on that night, while I was doing some star gazing I saw an amber colored light moving low in the desert sky, within a few moments it seemed to become larger or move towards my location, nether of which I was sure of at that time.

I checked my watch for the time and when I looked up again, the amber light moved slightly to the east, at which that time I felt sure the light was moving towards me.

This light began to have some definition, as it drew closer it appeared to be rectangular and although it seemed to grow brighter, it was not illuminating the desert floor (from my ground-level perspective). I began to feel alarmed as it came closer to me, as it seemed to be very, very large. 

When it got close to approximately 120 yards of my location I took out my 'AA' cell flashlight, focused the beam as tightly as I could and aimed it towards the "craft" while sending a Morse code message.

This seemed kind of silly, but this is what I did. The rectangle amber light 'turned off' right after I did this. In a few seconds, perhaps as many as 45, my night vision began to return and I was astounded to see starlight being blocked out in a large area of the sky adjacent to the place where I'd last seen the intense amber light.

It was clear to me that I was seeing something very large moving slowly at an altitude of less than 500 feet. I had heard sounds that were similar to the noise of cellophane being crushed while the amber light was on and very close to me, although this sound ceased when the light extinguished.

I watched the 'dark spot' in the sky until I could no longer see it. I felt some adrenaline still coursing through me, after the experience, and decided to stay out watching the sky, since I was sure that I couldn't sleep then.

In about 40 minutes or so I again saw the amber light in the distance to the south and east of camp. This light, however, was more distant and was of the same color, yet it was coming from the top and bottom of what was clearly an airborne craft of some sort.

The amber light was seen by me to resemble long, thin 'cones' of beams' (like a flashlight beam) issuing from the center top and bottom of the craft. I could see 4 or 5 fighter jets circling in helix-type orbits around one object. 

A moment later, another object 'turned on' it's amber lights nearby (within approximately 1 mile) the object that I was observing. It too was being circled by fighter aircraft.

I watched this going on for 15 minutes, then the objects began to appear in different area of the sky (by 'appear' I mean they would 'turn on' the amber beams) momentarily and then 'shut off' the amber lights, only to appear somewhere else in the sky.

There was one instance where one of the objects lights appeared to 'shutter' for a moment, light fully, and 'shutter again. The size of these objects (I saw 3 at the same time only once, 2 at the same time over 5 times) dwarfed the fighter aircraft around them.

At one point, I observed what I'd best describe as a 'plume', similar to a small rocket plum, issue from the center axis of the outside curve of the object, and although I really don't know what it was, it seemed to be a rocket being fired from the object. 

The trajectory of this 'plume' was perpendicular to the horizon, and after moving not much more than 100 yards, turned 90 degrees downward and it's light ceased. I am most curious to inquire if anyone else observed these things, or has seen similar objects in the same area.

 This was not the first time that I've been in close proximity to unknown aircraft, but the others I've seen were not of the same type as these described here, and I have a general feeling that the objects I describe in this post may be of military design or origin.

I have left out some details of the general shape and size of this 'craft' so that I may be able to discuss them with someone else who also saw the same events as I.

UFO Sightings/Circling Object In The Sky Over Kentucky USA

Time:  Multiple times.

I thought I had sent this before, but wasn't sure. It’s been playing in my mind since the morning I saw it. 

This happened to me in September, 2011. I awoke from a deep sleep. I always leave my television on. Earlier that day, they announced thunderstorms moving into the city sometime through the night, and I love thunderstorms! I woke up about 1:20 or so.

Heading for the bathroom, I decided to look out my bedroom window to see if it was moving in. I could see that the wind had picked up, and you could see the bushes and hedges swaying back and forth. 

My window looked out over the backyard and into the park's soccer field. From my window I have a clear view as my room was on second floor. I also have a good view of neighbors' backyards. 

As I looked out the window, I simply look up toward the sky and saw it was quite cloudy (broken clouds, where parts of the dark sky could still be seen). To my surprise, there is this ball of light going round and round in a circular motion (clockwise). "It was behind the clouds"!

I watched this light for about 45 minutes to an hour, not realizing I had been watching that long. I looked out into the soccer field, and beyond. There was no one in the field at this time of the morning to be activating a "spotlight". I’ve seen many spot lights since I was a child.

I looked to my left and I could clearly see the nearby television station's antenna flashing red in the distance. I looked down into the neighbor's yards, and there was no one. 

This ball of light was hovered right over the soccer field. All of a sudden, it slowed itself down, as if I knew I was looking at it.

I continued watching it. Finally, I thought, “get your camera and see if you can get photos”. I grabbed my canon pure shot, as it had a video setting. So, I started video taping what I was seeing. I was afraid to leave for fear it would disappear. I was pumped and excited at what I was witnessing!

I continue watching it, all of a sudden this fear came over me out of nowhere. I immediately closed the curtains and went back to bed. Grabbed my laptop and began searching to see if anyone else had seen anything like this.
 

The next morning, I’m lying there and all of a sudden, I remembered the video. I got my laptop, popped the video card into it and watched. There it was! Not the best video, as it was dark, but you can see it.

So, I started searching the internet again, and again, and again. For months. Then one day, I came across your article. I swear, I felt like I had hit the lottery!
 

Now a few months before this sighting, I started seeing strange lights in the skies, day and night. Some looked like the headlight of an airplane, but as you are watching it, the light goes out and there is absolutely nothing there!
 

I had one friend who I could talk with about these kinds of things, as she always had an open mind. Anything in this world is highly possible, she would say.

She would also say to me, “if they want you to see them, they will let you see them, but if they don’t want you to, you won’t”. She was a witness to a few light sightings as it all started while sitting on her front porch.

One night, sitting on her porch, several of us were sitting there talking and I kept getting this flash out of corner of my eye. It happened two to three times, so I started looking in that direction. Then one of the ladies asked me," are you seeing something?” “You keep looking over to your left and up to the sky".
 

So, I told them what I was seeing. Although it was night, there were some clouds, and there was one in particular that was quite big.  Behind that cloud a light kept coming on, as if someone was holding a flashlight on the other side and cutting it off and on. The light would come on, stay for a few seconds, then go out.

It would stay off, longer than it would stay on. So, we all decided to watch the cloud. All of a sudden, it happens again, and others witnessed it.  Then shortly after, coming from the west, was a little twinkling object, which could have been mistaken
for an aircraft headlight, or shooting star. 

We kept looking, and we saw this lighted object head directly for the cloud where we saw the light.  Not too far behind the object, were 3 jets following the same direction.

They too went toward the cloud, but they came out the other side of the cloud. The lighted object went behind that cloud, and never came out the other side. This was my first episode with “the light in or behind the clouds”. That ball of light, was never seen again, and its now 2020. I know it was not a “Spotlight”, and I know it was not “ball lightening”. 

I’ve always found the night sky’s amazingly beautiful!

Now, I find myself always looking to the skies; particularly the clouds. I truly believe they (whoever they are) use the clouds to hide themselves because they simply can.  I know it has been years since this has happened, and I still search the internet looking for anyone else who has witnessed such a thing.

Two White Lights Circling In The Night Sky Over Edmonton Alberta

4 Lights Circling One Another Over Edmonton Alberta

Time:  Late night.

Let me preface this by saying I don't know why I'm emailing you, but I was reading about some sightings on the website after thinking about my experience and some of them match up and it spooked me a little bit.

Me and a few good friends were going for a late night walk to the store, about six years ago in the winter months, I noticed way up at a very high altitude, almost satellite level, about 4 lights that were circling each other in rotation.

I managed to estimate where it was, and help the others see what I was seeing.

They circled each other for another five minutes and then just disappeared, needless to say we were very rattled and each remember the event to this day.

It's one of those things you just remember vividly no matter what, but don't really talk about.

Ball Of Light Circling Around In The Night Sky Over Edmonton Alberta

Time:  Approximately 11:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.

Hello, I read your story about flashing lights and I have witnessed something strange, too. Yesterday around 11:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. me and my friends were outside having a cigarette and we noticed this ball of light circling over and over again on the exact spot.

At first to me it looked like someone is doing that with a powerful flash light because I wanted to justify it with realistic explanation, but there were no beams coming out from anywhere.

We watched it for a while, but it just did the exact same thing, moving in a circle without changing location or pattern.

The light was only visible on clouds, but it did not disappear, it just kept going. We did not see any flying objects or anything at all. It was also super strange because couple hours ago my friend read about the incident that happened in Manitoba lake, where apparently an alien ship crashed and military was trying to cover it up.

So that just freaked us out, and for the rest of the night I felt super unsafe and had a really bad gut feeling that something isn't right.

My friends psychic friend even told her that something is coming and it won't be good. This happened over my neighborhood in Edmonton, Alberta Castle Downs area where YMCA is and Beaumaris Lake.

I really hope it is only some joke, but I just wanted to let you know since me and my friends couldn't understand what it was.

Please let me know of anyone else witnessed something similar, maybe they know a logical explanation for it.

Lights Circling Around In The Sky Over Montreal Quebec (Pictures)

Time: 8:15 p.m. EST

On Friday evening at 8:15 p.m. est I had a call from a youngster who wanted to make a report on some unusual lights which the family had been watching.

What I didn't realize was that while they were talking to me on the phone, the display of lights were taking place right now.

The youngster asked if I would like to talk to her mother, she called for her to come to the telephone and the mom described what they were observing at the moment.

About an hour before arriving at their home, the family was at the shopping center and mentioned they could see the lights in the sky.

Now calling me from their home, they are looking out the window and watching an amazing display of lights high above them in the sky.

The 4 lights at equal distance from one another stayed in the same area in the sky, they turned around as if one would be looking at a Ferris wheel. She also noticed aircraft moving close to where the lights were.

The witness described the lights as being a neon green in color. She also told me the lights would turn like the hands on a clock, but very quickly, then they would come together in the middle, becoming very bright.

Then the lights would move back out again and perform the same maneuvers all over again but moving faster each time. No sound was heard.

Laval, Quebec Lights

Date: October 17, 2003
Time: Evening

Another call came in from a gentleman living in the Laval, Quebec area. He said he was watching a display of lights while talking to me on the telephone. He went on to say what he was watching was very "weird".

He said he could see 4 circles of light at a high altitude turning in a circle, again like a Ferris wheel at a high rate of speed.

The witness went and changed phones so he could look at the lights and at the same time giving me a good description of what was going on.

The weather condition were half and half according to the fellow. Meaning it was overcast but one could see clear breaks all throughout the sky.

The lights are going around in a circle (clockwise), then all of the lights would move at the same time towards the center of the circle, then merge which made one very brilliant ball of white light.

The fellow said he was a good distance from any airport, he noticed no aircraft in the area. I asked if any sound could be heard, he said no due to a lot of background noise.

I asked the witness if he knew of any kind of events taking place in the surrounding area that might cause this light display, he had no knowledge of anything going on.

From the time he first saw the lights and the call came to me, the witness had been watching them for approxametly 10:00 minutes.

Just before the end of our conversation, he yelled out and told me the lights went out, they just blinked out !

Brian Vike’s Note: I contacted a CTV station in Montreal today (Saturday October 18, 2003) and left a message to have them call me back at my toll free line. A reporter telephoned back and I explained what had taken place, and asked did anyone file a report to the T.V. station.

She said yes, one person did contact them and told their story about what was witnessed. I also tried to talk with other media outlets in the area, but it seems darn near everyone is out for the weekend.

So messages were left and I hope to hear more on this event.

Also there could be a very rational explanation for what folks saw, but as it stands right now, it is an unknown event until I can at least dig up some more information on it. I will keep everyone updated if more comes in.

If indeed this was not a man made light display, then we do have a major UFO event which has taken place over the province of Quebec, Canada.

I almost forgot to add that 2 other families besides the ones in the reports above also witnessed the lights.

Bluish Colored Lights Seen Circling In The Sky Over Ottawa Ontario

Date:  November 7, 2014
Time:  Approx: 10:30 p.m.

Hi guys, I saw these lights in the clouds just last night outside my trace around 10:30 p.m.

They looked kind of bluish and there were like eight of them moving in different, separate circles in the same place. There were three that just kept chasing each other like they were playing.

It was pretty fast movement. Watched for about 30 minutes and got tired but for sure it was inside the clouds 100% no doubt.

Lights Circling Over Witnesses Home For Five Nights At New Brunswick Canada

Date:  August 18, 2014
Time:  Evening.

New Brunswick, Canada. Last 5 nights or more lights have been circling my house. Only noticeable when behind clouds. No beams. They have changed their patterns nightly.

Maybe a coincidence, but electrical equipment acting "funny" last few days. At first I felt these lights were man-made or if not then they were harmless, almost peaceful.

Now, since hearing all these reports, I'm becoming scared.

White Light Seen Circling And Filmed Over Chomedy Laval Quebec

Time:  Evening.

Hey there, today there is a huge storm brewing in Montreal and when I went to take down my gazebo, I looked up and saw a white light moving in circles.  I'm in Chomedy Laval.

A friend from another part of Laval is able to see it as well from his house. I got it on video.

Lights Circling In The Sky Over London Ontario

Approx: 1:35 a.m.

Number of witnesses: 3
Number of Objects: Not sure.
Shape of Objects: Kind of round in shape.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was outside on my balcony having a cigarette and I looked up at the sky and at first there was two big balls of light circling in the sky that kind of looked like search lights.

One of my roommates saw it, but then about 30 seconds after there was two balls of lights, a bunch of little lights and they were all circling around and going on erratic patterns and my other roommate saw it as well.

I don't if what I saw was something that can be explained, but it was very odd.

2 Blue/Green Lights Circling Above The Clouds Over Saddy Crescent London Ontario

Time:  6:21 p.m.

Hi, I have just walked out into my garden, and could not believe what I have seen.

Above me, were 2 blue/green lights, circling above the clouds, at first I thought it was spotlights, but the odd shape, speed, and the fact, it they were going through clouds, and also shining above and glowing the cloud from above, rendered it impossible.

I shouted for my father-in-law, who came through, and agreed they were not emitted from the ground, no sooner he said this, all of a sudden a third light started to chase the two, and catching up, then now and then they would break up, and then pull back together, it is still happening now, we have tried to film it, but we only have iPads, and not a proper video recorder. Side can't get them on film!

There is no way this is emitted from the earth, no way.

It is if, its some form of gamma radiation, from an exploding supernova, maybe, but at the core of the light phenomenon, appears a solid state.

We are sorry we have no equipment to film or take proper photographs, but rest assured, this is happening right now over London, Ontario, Canada. The time we noticed this UFO, was 6:21 p.m. It is now 6:56 p.m. Thursday 10th January 2013.

The lights are right over Saddy Crescent, London Ontario, Canada.

White Light Circling Around In The Sky Over Barrhaven Ontario (Searchlight)

Time:  Approx: 11"15 p.m.

Hi, I saw the same phenomenon on Sunday Eve. around 11:15 p.m. Again, what looked like a white orb was circling behind the clouds in the north eastern part of the sky. My son who was biking home said that part of the sky to the west had lit up and then he noticed the circling orb and woke me up to show me. 

At first I thought it had to do with the control tower at the airport, but I've never seen it before and there was nothing in the same part of the sky last night. I'm sure many people have witnessed this sight but have not found any information through Google searches etc. 

Are there people out there who monitor they sky in cities where this might have been recorded etc.? Anyway, very strange occurrence. It would be interesting if anyone has a theory on this. Thanks.

Circling Blue/Green Light Above South Ottawa Ontario (Searchlight)

Time:  Approx: 2:00 a.m.

I am watching a circling blue light right now above my house in south Ottawa. It is bluish green in colour and takes about 12 seconds to do a circle (almost perfect) going very fast.

No appearance of a beam going up, looks like a light shining down through the clouds. I am sure there is an explanation, but it does look odd.

Maybe a light beam from the airport which is not far to my south. It looks similar to what you describe.

I also saw these lights in the south end, they were see-able in the south on Highway 31/bank near the Hindu temple. Also when I went to the Wal-Mart
they were clear in the dark night sky.

It was a spot-light that was geographically near the South Keys Wal-Mart, because the light beams were clear and bright. I still couldn't pin-point the origin of these lights, but it seemed to be closer to this location than any other.

There was 1 or 2 spot lights that were swirling in the sky in circular patterns.

Blue/Green Light Circling In The Sky Above Riverside South Ottawa Ontario (Searchlight)

Date:  October 24, 2012 and October 25, 2012
Time:  6:15 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.

Hi there, I saw something similar, 2 mornings in a row. The first was the morning of Wednesday October 24, 2012 at 6:15 a.m. in Riverside South, Ottawa. I went outside for a morning walk and I saw a bluish/greenish light circling in the eastern sky. 

My first thought was that it was a spotlight. But as I examined, the light was shinning through the clouds, from up above, and not from below.

It wasn't a plane. The circular path the light "form" was travelling was too small and travelling too fast for it to be a plane, plus the light "form" was too big to be lights from a plane. 

It reminded me of the Northern Lights, the colours were similar and "moved". But I have seen the Northern Lights, and they don't travel in a circle, plus the shape of them is more like waves, and this was more of a circle/oval mass. 

The other observation that stood out to me was when the light "form" would travel across an open patch of sky (no clouds) it would disappear, but reappear as soon as it was behind the clouds. Northern Lights appear when it's a clear sky.  

All of these "logical" thoughts happened so quickly through my head while I kept walking and starring at it. The only other thing I thought of was that it was some sort of "entity". I did not feel frightened or threatened. I'm really curious as to know what it was.

I saw it again the next morning, October 25, 2012 at 6:30 a.m. It was an overcast morning.

The light was not as bright as the morning before, but I could still see it. It was in a similar spot in the sky. By 7:30 a.m., I couldn't see it anymore since the sky was getting brighter with daylight.

I'm happy that I'm not the only one who saw this "thing" in the sky, any thoughts on what it could be?

Unknown Object Circling Hovering And Moving Around Over Kahnawake Quebec

Shape of Objects: Round.

 

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Family and I have been watching a strange light in the sky for the past hour. It has been circling, hovering, and moving about the sky fairly slow.

 

It is a bright light, obviously not a star or a plane or a satellite. It was lower earlier, at possibly 40,000 feet, but has continued to go higher slowly.
