More Witnesses To Bright Light Illuminating Homes Seen In Qualicum Beach Vancouver Island British Columbia

Hi Brian, I just read a newspaper article in The Parksville/Qualicum Beach News by Neil Horner regarding reports of strange light sightings in the Dashwood area north of our home in Qualicum Beach on or about February 6, 2013.

I believe we may have seen the same light from our bedroom, which appeared to originate from the sky.

It was around 11:00 or 12:00 at night.

Preparing to go to bed, I was facing our patio door when suddenly our bedroom drapes lit up with a bright light illuminating our backyard and bedroom. 

My wife said, `what is that'! I ran to open the drapes as the light faded. Going outside, nothing was visible in the sky (no aircraft sounds) so I assumed it may be a meteor or other anomaly. 

Looked in the local newspapers following this experience to see if anyone else reported it and noticed this article today. Thanks.

Strange Sighting In Dashwood

Dashwood residents are abuzz about the latest odd sighting in the area — but this time it wasn't a monkey.

Brian Vike, a UFO researcher in Houston, B.C. said he received a report of a strange light from a resident on Feb. 6.

Rectangular Almost Cigar Shaped UFO Flew Over Kenora Ontario

Three Lights In A Triangle Formation Above Etobicoke Ontario

I too saw three white triangular lights on January 9, 2013 around 5:30 p.m in Etobicoke, Ontario.

I was at work that day, came outside for a break and noticed three lights moving together in a formation of a triangle.

It was something that I’ve never seen before, moving around at the same speed. Lasted about 45 seconds the vanished.

20 Orange Colored Balls Of Light Over Quispamsis New Brunswick

Time:  10:00 p.m.

25th January 2013 10:00 p.m. approximately 20 orange coloured balls passed over Quispamsis, New Brunswick coming from the east heading towards the airport, there was no sound and no type of formation.

6 Orange Lights Rose Up And Vanished Into The Sky Over Vancouver British Columbia

Time:  From 10:00 p.m. to 10:20 p.m.

My sister and I saw this "event" last night, from about 10:00 p.m. to 10:20 p.m. We were on my south-facing balcony on the seventh floor at Comox and Bute.

Neither of us had ever seen anything like it.

We counted six lights that all rose and vanished into the same small area of sky. We're hoping somebody has a plausible explanation.

Additional Information:

In the 20 or so minutes that we watched these objects, they travelled around the sky quite a bit, in several directions.

They usually travelled in a line, following the path of the first light.

At one point a couple of them moved closer to Spanish Banks and hovered for a bit.

The culmination of the display was what I had previously described.

The lights, one by one, followed a similar trajectory up into the sky and disappeared.

The one anomaly in this behavior was that the fifth light initially took a more vertical trajectory before veering to the west and disappearing into the same small area of sky as its cohorts.
