Yes we saw the same light. I live in Quispamsis, New Brunswick and between 8:00 and 8:30pm it moved across our sky. The sky was clear and it either went behind a cloud or fizzled out.
My husband first noticed it and said "What's that?". It was a dark orange ball that moved silently across the sky. We thought it was a meteor? My son thought it was that Russian satellite that was suppose to be seen anywhere from New Brunswick to Africa sometime between October 1 to October 19th.
After it passed we all looked at each other and said, I'm glad it didn't land here. It seemed to be up about 20,000 feet and still looked large at that altitude. (my husband flies a lot)
Thank you to the witness for the report.
