Shape of objects: Round, reddish-yellow, or amber light.
Weather Conditions: Clear, light wind, cool. All stars and the moon in perfect visibility.
Description: Couple pulls into their driveway and notices light, boyfriend, who is a pilot, observes that it is not a plane, or plane light as it does not have navigation light on, and is flying in an un-airplane like matter.
The couple then called out the boyfriends parents to observe the light, the light which had moved approximately one kilometer moving southeast. The light then stopped moving and hovered for about a minute before fading south.
The entire sighting lasted about 4 minutes from the time the couple noticed it, to it moving quickly away to the south.

Edmonton, Alberta A Triangle UFO With Three Amber Lights

Shape of objects: Triangle with three amber lights.
Full Description of event/sighting: At about 11:00pm that evening I was with two others that saw the strange craft as it started for the upper atmosphere. It looked like a triangular or super sized delta wing with three lights of a amber color which we could clearly see. It was a massive size, then like something out of Star Trek, it seem to speed up and then just disappeared in to the darkness of space in the northeastern sky.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was walking eastbound over the Laurier bridge looking up at the National Defence Headquarters when I noticed a large white silent fireball flying ENE and breaking through the clouds. This lasted approximately two seconds. A map of the trajectory is located at http://addj.ca/trajectory.jpg . Also noticed a burning smell a minute or two after I saw the display.

Brandon, Manitoba Object Captured On Film

HBCC UFO Research Note: The object in the photo was not seen with the naked eye. But rather found later on the picture. I really don't want to except pictures of objects anymore unless the person filming the object or objects has seen the thing. It is just to hard to determine what is on the photo if the witness did not see it. But in this case, I found that the person who took this picture may have caught something of interest.
Dear Sir, The attached two pictures were shot on May 22, 2008. Same scene at River Bank Discovery, 3 minutes walk from my home in Brandon, Manitoba. The interval between the two photos is within 30 seconds. When I cleared up old pictures the day before yesterday, I found there's a significant difference between the two photos. At the first glance, I thought that small thing in the second photo is a stain on my laptop screen. But it's not.
Hopefully, these pictures are useful to you.
Additional Information:
Brian, Thanks for your quick response. Please go ahead to post it. I always believe in the existence of UFO though I also believe that there may be no single believable evidence. Just hope these pictures can be useful.
My wife challenged that might be a balloon. But I do not think a balloon would fly in the second picture that fast. Besides, I would rather believe it moved very fast and created the hazy halo around it.

Kingston, Ontario A Round Silver Metal UFO

Weather Conditions: Clear.
Description: Hey everyone, I just found this site and wanted to report of a sighting I had back when I was younger.
So here is my description of this evening. I went over to a friends place to go swimming at his neighbors. My friend and I were both in the pool swimming, and his brothers and their friends were playing around the edge of the deck. I went under the water and came up out of the water looking straight in the sky, when suddenly I saw what looked like a very round silver metal object extremely low to the ground. Much lower than any aircraft would fly, also the shape was so distinct that I had never seen to this date any aircraft that looks like it.
It had flashing lights around in a circle on the bottom of it, red, green, blue alternating in no particular order. Directly in front of me was a gigantic tree, and I was facing South West. It only lasted about 5 seconds and passed from over my head and went towards the big tree and was gone. It was so low that I would have expected to have heard some type of engines but it was whisper quiet.
When I came out of the water I was wearing a pair of goggles and thought that they were affecting my vision somehow, but when I turned to my friend who was in the pool with me but he did not go underwater and was staring up in the sky I asked what it was he was looking at and he described the exact same thing to me that I had seen seconds earlier.
To this day I have no idea what that object was and neither does my friend, but we both thought it was a UFO flying right over our heads and extremely low to the ground because of how big it seemed.
TV/Radio: I heard of no reports.

Brampton, Ontario A Long Cylindrical UFO With Red Lights Pulsating On Bottom

Location of Sighting: South east above area of Pearson International airport.

Shape of objects: Long cylindrical with red lights pulsating on bottom.
Full Description of event/sighting: At approximately 500 - 600pm last night, October 4th 2008 I was letting my dog out to do his business when I looked up at the sky and noticed an object hovering in one spot. I looked further for a few seconds and realized it wasn't moving a bit and went in the house to get my binoculars. At that time I called my sister from in the basement to follow me out and have a look at something weird. I focused in on the object as much as possible and when I zoomed in on it, I could see it real well. It was in an area less assaulted by reflection or brightness from the sun which enabled me to see and focus real well on it. It was silver in appearance seemingly to be an object of height, not length as an airplane, but more like a huge can sitting on 4 pulsating red lights (4) on it's bottom. This was very clear.
I gave over the binoculars to my sister, who was also able to see this sight and is still trying to get around what she seen. It's now 8:30am the next morning and neither of us were able to get any good sleep last night, because of it. Did anyone else see this object in our skies last night? If so let us know we aren't insane and we seen what we saw? Thank you. (Names removed).

North East Of The St. Clair River Sarnia, Ontario Lights On A Intercept Course

Location of Sighting: North East of the St. Clair River Sarnia, Ontario.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 2
Shape of objects: Round (too high to tell whether they had a shape).
Full Description of event/sighting: I was standing in my back yard having a smoke when I seen two bright lights heading east of the St Clair River Sarnia, Ontario. It looked as if they were on an intercept coarse, one following the other. They were definitely much to high up to be a jetliner and travelling much to fast. I would say it looked as if they were travelling about 2-3 times the speed of a plane or jet. Unlike an airliners blinking red and white lights these lights were solid non blinking and much brighter. It couldn't have been a meteor either. A meteor will streak across the sky burning up and fading away within seconds. These did not fade, they moved across the sky until they were no longer visible.

Toronto, Ontario Three Bright Red Lights Forming A Triangle Shape

Weather Conditions: Clear Night Sky.
Description: Three bright red orbs forming the shape of an equilateral triangle in the sky were hovering above the west end of the city of Toronto. They maintained formation while occasionally pulsing and becoming brighter. Within 5 minutes the lights moved closer together to form one larger bright red orb in the sky. I continued to watch these orbs unite and separate into formation over the course of the next 10-15 minutes. I was standing on Harbord Street just before Ossington facing west.

Weather Conditions: Clear night sky.
Description: At first it looked like a satellite. Too high for an airplane and seemed to travel the same speed as a satellite would. There were 3 lights moving at the same speed and in the same direction creating a triangle of lights. Two lights were the same brightness and the 3rd light was half as bright as the other two.

Rapid View, Saskatchewan Ball Of Blue Light - Lights Up The Area

Location of Sighting: Highway 55. Between Dorintosh turnoff and Rapid View, SK.

Full Description of event/sighting: Me and my Mom (name removed) were traveling home from Saskatoon and the sky was clear with lots of stars out. I had my seat reclined back so I was able to see the sky good. Mom was driving and we saw the northern lights between North Battleford and Meadow Lake. Once we drove through Meadow lake the sky was dark, but you could still see the stars. We were driving west and I could see the big dipper in-front and just past the Dorintosh turn off. I glanced North and was about to say "Where did the pretty Northern Lights go?" but I just got "Wh..." out when the sky lit up bright blue as far as we could see and I saw a HUGE lightning blue colored ball of light with a tail streak through the sky from south to north for about 2 seconds before vanishing and the sky returning back to black with all the stars. Mom saw the sky light up but never saw the ball, but I followed the ball with my eyes. It didn't make any sound.
I don't believe in UFOs but just north of Dorintosh is Waterhen Lake, where lots of people have claimed to see UFOs.
We don't know what it was. There may have been other people who saw what we saw, because there was a car behind us a few minutes before, and there was still some traffic out. We don't even know how far it was seen.

I glanced North and was about to say "Where did the pretty Northern Lights go?" but I just got "Wh..." out when the sky lit up bright blue as far as we could see and I saw a HUGE lightning blue colored ball of light with a tail streak through the sky from south to north for about 2 seconds before vanishing and the sky returning back to black with all the stars. Mom saw the sky light up but never saw the ball, but I followed the ball with my eyes. It didn't make any sound.
I don't believe in UFOs but just north of Dorintosh is Waterhen Lake, where lots of people have claimed to see UFOs.
We don't know what it was. There may have been other people who saw what we saw, because there was a car behind us a few minutes before, and there was still some traffic out. We don't even know how far it was seen.

Nanaimo, British Columbia UFO Breaks Into Three Parts

Full Description of event/sighting: Hi my name is (name removed) I live in the small Harbour City of Nanaimo B.C. On the night of Sept 3, 2008 I step outside to have a smoke, as I live in a basement sweet with my two birds. So I smoke outside as it is a small space and don't want to hurt the birds small lungs! Anyway I just lit my smoke when I hear the sound of a jet in the sky. I looked up and sure enough, there were two jets, like air force jets. I believe they were probably out of Comox air base and they were up pretty high, but you could see their vapour trails behind them. I thought this was kind of odd because it was nightfall and I don't see many jets out and about at this time of night.
As I am watching them, I see something that was traveling at a high speed and not far behind them. It was round and had many different colored flashing lights rotating around the bottom. Only after the jets went by their sound faded out and this one made no sound at all! Then all of a sudden it just stopped following them and turned and went out over the ocean. It stopped again and then the craft broke up into three separate orbs, is the best way I could describe it. These orbs went around at a high rate of speed and one went south, one went west and one went east for about five minutes. I watched them going up, down and sideways and around until they rejoined again into a round saucer looking disk. By this time they were right above me, I got scared because they did not look like they were so far up anymore. I watched from my doorway and just as I turned to go in and get the phone, I saw it start to spin at an incredible rate of speed. It shot straight up and was out of sight in what was like three seconds.
Now I know what people like to say, but until you see something like this with your own eyes and you know we don't have any flying craft that can travel at this speed, never mind breaking up into separate orbs. Until someone can show me any military crafts such as these top secret or not, then I can only come to one conclusion. It was a UFO! That's my story I would like to think that I am not that closed minded to believe we are the only living species in the universe!

Full Description of event/sighting: I googled a search to find out if any one else had seen the same thing I did last night. I live in Welland and was on my way home from work at approximately 10:45pm on Wednesday October 1st 2008. I was driving Southbound on the 406 approaching Welland. I noticed some very bright lights flashing up ahead. There were about 5 alternating lights flashing in a repeating pattern. They appeared to be in a triangular formation. There were also two bright lights flashing to my left approximately a kilometer from the lights ahead of me (Two separate locations). I have been looking in the paper and watching the news to see if there are any comments about it. There hasn't been anything about it. I drive that exact route many times a week. These lights are not a common occurrence. I wonder since these lights were seen on the 23rd of September as well. Is this something explainable?

Edmonton, Alberta A Triangular UFO

Location of Sighting: Edmonton, Alberta.
Number of witnesses: 1

Shape of objects: Triangle with lights on each corner.
Full Description of event/sighting: It was about 12:30am and I went outside for my last smoke and I was looking up to the west in the sky as I usually do, looking for satellites when I spotted this triangle with low light almost yellow/orange on each corner appear out of no where. It was traveling slowly south then veered to the West and it was gone. When I first spotted it, it was travelling slowly and I was able to see it very clearly and detailed. It looked like a pool table rack that you use to set-up the balls and the way it moved was very different from a plane or helicopter, there was no sound what so ever. It moved like a hockey puck on ice! I was able to keep my eyes on it for about 10 seconds. I went back into the house, went on the internet and searched 'triangle UFO' and there it was exactly what I had seen.

Hello, I write to you from Pennsylvania in the states. This morning I received a call from my friend who lives in Fort Erie, across the river from Buffalo, NY. She woke early this am and went to her living room window to look out and saw a large triangular shaped craft moving over her area. She said it was coming from the North. She said it had 5 bright lights on it and it was very quiet. As the morning went on, she spoke with others who had also seen it. I have tried to tape into the Buffalo stations to see if it was mentioned to no avail. I think it may have been the same type of craft that I saw in PA in 1992---I was wondering if you have received any reports on this. By the way I Goggled and found you!

Neguac, New Brunswick A Bright Glowing Mass (Pictures)

HBCC UFO Research Note: From what the eyewitness told me in this report, there were a number of other eyewitnesses to this event. Also someone took a photo of the object and was printed in the L'Acadie Nouvelle newspaper. If anyone else has any information on this sighting, would you be kind enough to send along the details of what you witnessed. I have just written a letter to the L'Acadie Nouvelle newspaper in hopes of maybe getting a look at the photo, or finding other folks. Anyone with information can write to me at: hbccufo@telus.net I do respect everyone's privacy.
Full Description of event/sighting: I don't generally buy into this type of thing, but while parked at a beach, myself and two friends witnessed a bright glowing oblong object in the sky steadily grow brighter, then disappear. It occurred a second time, it was large, closer than the 'stars' but further out than low flying planes.
After speaking to people in town, a number of folks saw it as well who were in different areas of this part of NB, and everyone is incredibly perplexed.
One witness took a photo, and it was apparently published in the local newspaper (L'Acadie Nouvelle), but I have not yet been able to find a copy of that paper.
Also interesting to note, is that the next night we were looking in the same area, hoping to witness the same thing while we had a camera, but instead we saw a steady stream of air traffic, all following the same flight path. In fifteen minutes we saw fifteen aircraft, of which there were three sets of pairs of smaller jets and one low flying large plane that looked similar to a Herc, all flying towards the area that the 'UFO' was reported, which is extremely out of the ordinary for this part of NB.
I feel pretty silly explaining this, but I have to say that my mind is boggled, as are the minds of many people around here. Mostly, I'm wondering if you have any suggestions as to how we can find out what this light may have been?

Last night I was waiting around dusk to see if it would happen again. The star like objects did not repeat the actions from the night before, however I did see one come into the atmosphere. I saw a gold streak in the sky way above me, very high up, the streak was about 8 inches long, and at the end of it a star like object flashed a couple of times, like they do around the sky here late at night. I will be out again tonight, tea cup in hand and watching. Take care.

Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, Sunday was such a beautiful day and I was enjoying the dusk hour that was settling in. I had looked for Jupiter in the southern sky and it was bright in the dusk sky. I was then looking toward the eastern mountain when my attention was drawn upward. A star like object was dropping down. It was as bright as the planet Jupiter I had just looked at and it seemed to be a little bit bigger, but not much bigger than Jupiter. It stayed bright as it slowly dropped down, or floated down and it lasted about 30 seconds which is a long time when watching something. As it neared the mountain it dimmed right out. I could not see anything anymore. About five minutes later, another star like object began to drop down from about the same area of the sky, but it dimmed out about halfway down.

Shape of objects: Shaped like a star, but a little brighter.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was in bed looking at the sky, when I saw a moving star. Upon further inspection, it was something other than a star. There was one sudden movement, the rest of the time it was shaking.

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan ISS Sighting

Time: About 8:10 to 8:30 p.m.
Hi, Brian, I was walking home last night (Sunday, September 28) from about 8:10 to 8:30 and watched this bright light as it came up over the western horizon. From it's speed and brightness, I immediately assumed it to be the ISS, which I have seen many times previously. Last night, the transit was from due west to due east and almost directly overhead. It is fairly consistent in the amount of light it reflects back, although I have seen it change in intensity and colour as it passes overhead, a predictable outcome of the way sunlight will be reflected off its solar panels and other surfaces and the amount of atmosphere the light has to pass through to reach the observer. I was pretty sure at the time that it was the ISS. I checked the time, 8:20 p.m., and confirmed the transit on heavensabove.com when I got home. I did not see any other objects or lights pass over during the time that I was out.
The previous two times I saw the ISS, it was visible from horizon to horizon. It was brightest when it was overhead and was noticeably dimmer near the horizons. Last night, however, was different. Since I was walking westward, I saw it early, so I stopped to watch it while standing on a quiet residential street. As with past sightings, it grew brighter as it approached. As it passed overhead, I turned to watch it continue eastward. A few seconds later, I noticed that it took on a slightly reddish hue and began to fade. It faded much more quickly than previous times I have seen it and seemed to grow more reddish in hue as it did so. It then faded in intensity much more quickly than I have seen previously. A few moments later, I lost it in the haze of light pollution that glares from shopping malls, strip malls and other lighting nearby. At times, I almost thought that it was wavering or slightly zig-zagging as it passed overhead, but I attributed this apparent motion to my unsteady stance. If I braced myself, and observed how it approached and passed stars, I could see that the apparent wavering stopped.
I'm pretty certain it was the ISS and not some unexplained phenomenon. I figure that the dimming of it's intensity and the reddish hue were caused by the way its solar panels reflected and refracted the sunlight striking them.
