Star Like Light And Shooting Stars Observed West Of London Ontario

Date: March 25, 2011
Time: 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Spherical.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Last night, the 25th, I was the only witness to similar events from about 10:00 pm, and here I confess that I was glued to the view of the southwestern sky as I darted in and out, until about 2:00am. Oddly enough, this light didn't move across the sky in a star like fashion, but pretty much remained low in the same spot in the sky.

I also saw what I think were two shooting stars to the left or rather south and then to the west of the light. I don't know if these events are related as they appeared to be quite normal looking shooting stars in that they shot downward at a believable angle, and not straight up from the ground as I have observed a few times over the Komoka Provincial Park.

I hope this might be of interest to yourself and perhaps prove to be reassuring to the person who had the sighting over Delaware on the 7th of March. Thank you for your time and consideration and all the best to you and yours.

Silvery White Light Observed West Of London Ontario

Date: March 24, 2011
Time: 8:55 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Spherical.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Hello Brian, I thought I would respond to the sighting report from Delaware, Ontario dated March 7, 2011. We live west of London in a rural area, and we also are in the habit of watching the skies, in particular the night skies.

On March 24th and March 25th we witnessed this very large bright light in the southwest sky, but during different time frames on both of these nights.

On the 24th we noticed this light at exactly 8:55 pm. My husband was convinced the light looked greenish white, while to me it appeared almost incredibly silvery white. For awhile it seemed to be moving closer and lower in altitude, then it shot up only to dim almost entirely and dropped back down to where it was when we first noticed it.

For my part it appeared very similar to the way a buoyant object might when floating freely in water, held down for a bit only to pop back up as if let go suddenly.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Large Fireball UFOs And Pursuing Aircraft West Of London Ontario Canada

Date: February 28, 2011
Time: 9:30 p.m. and 10:55 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1 and 2.
Number of Objects: 2
Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Hello Brian, I've wrestled all day whether to send this particular sighting your way, simply because it was apparent the longer I thought about it, that we were not the alone in witnessing the familiar slow moving, large fireball like objects that have become common if not a predictable event here in our neck of the woods.

At approximately 9:30 last evening I was dog walking beneath a beautiful clear and starry sky. I was looking in the SE, when over the top of the trees on the south side of the Thames river, I saw what I first thought to be a low aircraft and wondered what it was doing so low. The distance between me and it was a few blocks. By the time it had made it’s way, skimming along the tops of the trees, and across the river a minute might have passed by if that.

I stood in the road and watched it sail silently southward, all the while looking oddly like a meteor traveling parallel to the ground. I continued watching it until I lost sight of it heading toward Delaware along the river. When I got my bearings to head home, I found myself thinking, or rather wishing someone had been here to see this with me when from the N west I hear the approach of a low flying aircraft.

I knew it was low before I even saw it, because I could feel the rumbling in the ground at my feet, if you know what I mean. Sure enough, an aircraft made a fly by over my head and across the river right where I had seen the fireball object mere moments before. I was cursing the odds that this aircraft had just missed seeing this thing, when I watched the aircraft make an abrupt bank to the right over the trees and head in the same direction as the now disappeared slow moving fireball thing.

Well, woohoo, I thought to myself, now things are getting interesting and I hurried home to share this exciting news.

When I told my husband, he said he'd pay attention when he went outside, but neither of us saw anything unusual the rest of the evening.

That changed as we began the nightly ritual before turning in, from the upstairs hallway we could make out what looked like flames in the sky through a window that faced west. We both stood there at the sill and watched a repeat performance of what had occurred earlier. This time the object/ fireball came from the south and headed north in a straight line.

Before it was out of our line of sight we heard a loud rumbling and ducked bumping our heads on the wide open window sash. Another aircraft from the west flying east and flying very low. I wish I could tell you what kind of aircraft it was either time, all I know is it/they were loud, with an awful lot of lights, the last one seemed to have a protuberance at the tail and was very lit up with red and white flashing lights.

I think I was a bit relieved to see both of the aircraft to tell the truth, there is no doubt in my mind that the fireball was witnessed by somebody besides me. Whether or not this was all some kind of military maneuver (including the fireball) or whether the fireball was picked up and tracked is wide open.

Like I said, it just seemed way to interesting to let slide without passing on the information. Please let me know what your take on this might be, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks for your time.

UFOs Shooting Upwards From The Ground West Of London Ontario

Date: February 3, 2011
Time: 8:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.

Location of Sighting: West Of London Ontario.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 2+?
Shape of Objects: Spherical.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Hi Brian, I thought I would send this information your way as it is way beyond the ordinary and I felt you would be interested. I was outside with the dog and was startled by a very loud crack or splitting sound. It sounded quite a bit like ice breaking up on a frozen body of water, or a tree splitting. Definitely a creaking sound, slow and very loud. You could say that it got my attention. It was perfectly quiet, and a clear night ideal for star gazing.

In a knee jerk fashion I literally jumped and turned toward the sound, and pretty much ducked as I looked up thinking one of the large pine trees on the property was falling. In the split second it took me to assume the cringe and wait stance, I saw a white flash shoot up from the ground just on the opposite side of the river. Exactly the opposite of a shooting star, by that I mean just that, something that appeared to be star like bursting from the ground at the velocity of a falling star.

I was dumb founded, and tried to reconcile the these two separate events with each other, the loud splitting sound and the upward flash of light. I was actually prepared to chalk both events up to incredible coincidence if it wasn't for what followed.

As my dog and I made our way along, I kept looking up in the sky over the area where both the sound and light occurred. From my vantage point this would be south, also on the south side of the Thames, and in the Provincial Park. There are no lights over there, for trails, nor are there any lights for parking and there are no rest areas, and as far as I know it's not one of those designated 'Dark or unlit Park' that I have just read about in Canada.

There is no electricity in this park because it is for trail walking only, I think you get my meaning here.

Immediately to my right as I was standing facing this south direction, I picked up a bright red glow all of a sudden out of the corner of my right eye. As I turned to look at this I was facing southwest, there was a ball or coal like red ember slowly making it’s way about 200 feet above the ground in a westerly direction. At arms length it was slightly smaller than a pencil eraser, and absolutely silent.

Then almost simultaneously, another glowing ember appeared on the opposite side of the river slightly higher, traveling slowly in the same southwesterly direction. As I tried to watch them by turn, it was as if the light would dim almost out then quite suddenly flare up very brightly. There was no flashing, colour change or erratic movement, and as I said there was absolutely no sound.

At the same distance from where I was standing, I am quite able to hear the sound of a lawn mower in the summer, and from further away I have heard Cessna's quite easily.

By the time these 2- remote controlled comets, for lack of a better description disappeared, my husband had come out to see what was taking me so long. As I was pointing and re-telling this exact event to him, we both saw another white light/reverse meteor shoot up to the sky from the ground in pretty much the same location as the first.

As I sit here, he has outside and back inside again and has just told me he saw another display of the same thing. I look forward to hearing your feedback on this Brian. Thank you for your time.

Bright Blue Light Shooting West Over Richmond British Columbia

Date: December 8, 2010
Time: Approx: 6:04 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Richmond British Columbia.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: N/A.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Around the said time, I was on my work break and out. I observed a blue light shooting west. I wasn't able to get the shape or any thing else as this thing lasted for not more than a second and traveled more than half the sky. It was beyond clouds, bright blue in color and because of clouds was changing shades in it’s surrounding.

The most beautiful thing I ever saw. I had seen meteor shower, so I know what meteors look like and this thing was not at all close to that, and than the immense speed. By the time I could have realized anything else, it was gone. To make it strange, it just vanished as if someone just turned the lights off. I don't know if anybody else had witnessed this, but would like to definitely know what it could be. Cheers

Bright White Light Over Whitby On Rossland Road West Towards Oshawa Ontario

Date: Spring 1994
Time: Approx: 11:00 p.m.

Hi Brian, I wanted to report the same strange observation by myself and three other witnesses in Spring 1994 at night on the corner of Thornton Rd N and Rossland Road West.

I was driving in Whitby on Rossland Road West towards Oshawa, Ontario. We could see all the nice lights over Oshawa as we where still in Whitby.

I was driving towards Oshawa and we where just about to make it on the corner of Thornton Rd N and Rossland Road West before driving down the hill towards Oshawa when we noticed a round bright white light move extremely slow in the sky and moving downwards.

It should have been past 11:00pm as we watched this for about 15-20 seconds. We where all trying to figure out what it was and then I shouted out to the other three people that it must be a UFO! All of a sudden it faded out in a fashion that the light shrunk and zapped upwards in the sky like a fallen star, but rather going upwards in the sky. Now how can an object so “big”, become so small very quickly and zap upwards in the sky?

As another witness wrote on your site of what he saw on Friday night, June 25th 2010. I will quote that the same details below happened the exact same to use 4 witnesses.

‘’When we first witnessed this slow round white light. It was at it's brightest point for about 10-15 seconds, until I shouted to the witnesses it was a UFO. As after I shouted out to the witnesses. I noticed it was starting to fade after ten seconds. The total time watching it would be about 15 -20 seconds.”

Bright White Lights Over West Vancouver British Columbia

Date: December 4, 2010
Time: After midnight.

Hi Brian, this is in response to the lights you said you saw over the mountains to the north from Kits Beach last July. Well last Saturday around just after midnight, a friend was driving us back to the North shore from downtown over the Lions Gate bridge.

There was a check stop, so the traffic was moving quite slow. While crawling along the bridge I noticed a set of bright white lights that were hovering just over the crest of the mountains behind West Vancouver (just west of the British Properties, if you know the area).

Watching them, they slowly dipped back behind the mountains then reappeared several times over the course of about 15 minutes. We tried to speculate on what they could be, but had no idea. Definitely not a helicopter, and it was in a non-residential forested area, with houses nowhere even near. Thought it was weird enough to do a Google search, and your posting came up which I thought closely matched what we saw.

If you have heard anything about this, I would be interested to know more. If not, well I guess Ill just have to keep an eye out up there for more! Cheers,

Fireball And UFO Seen Over West Of London Ontario

Date: November 20, 2010
Time: 7:00 p.m. to 7:20 p.m.

Location of Sighting: West Of London Ontario.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 2
Shape of Objects: Fireball and invisible object.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Hi Brian, thought I would pass this on to you in the event someone else from the area witnessed the same thing. I was driving west on county Rd.14 out of London, I noticed a flash of red light on my left, which would be SW, as I drove. This was almost at tree height at a slow constant speed parallel to the ground. To the right of the travelling ball of fire, which resembled a hot coal or ember about the size of a bus would be my guess, was another unusual display of lights.

I say unusual because the lights themselves revolved around an object, I'm guessing here, that seemed to be round or circular. I say this because the actual object was nowhere to be seen, invisible or at least undetected by me.

I guess I should say that when I first saw this moving ball of fire I was driving past the bridge and had just made it to the top of the highway adjacent to Kilworth. I pulled over and watched as the ball of fire slowly made it’s way toward the flashing and revolving lights, both of these were at exactly the same height to one another. The 'fireball' didn't change in any way in either intensity, speed or colour. The distance between the two looked to be about a few blocks or maybe more.

The revolving light display was quite near a commercial area or place and above some trees in the span between me and the object to my left as well.

When the 'fireball' caught up to the revolving lights, and here I watched to see what would happen as it seemed that it was signaling somehow, and both the 'fireball' and the other lights disappeared. It was as if nothing had been there a moment before.

The whole thing lasted about 5 or 6 minutes. All I can say is there was a lot of moonlight and I should have been able to see the object with lights as it was the one closest to me. Thank you for your time, I hope this is helpful.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Jet And People Watching For UFOs West Of London Ontario

Date: October 17, 2010
Time: Between 10:00 and 11:00 p.m.

Hi Brian, thought I'd let you know that late Sunday evening October 17, 2010 between 10:00 and 11:00 p.m. we heard a jet flying west to east quite low and very loud over our residential neighborhood. There were 6 people here at the time and we all heard the sudden loud and low rumble and ran outside to investigate. We could see nothing, but could tell only from the sound that it had flown east and so we couldn't really be sure it was even military. But if I had to guess, I would bet money that it was.

The interesting thing is that there has been absolutely nothing unusual going on every night since then.

Monday morning a few of us bumped into a fellow on the lower trails who was on a mission to check the water in the river?

Tuesday we drove down the county road past the Komoka Provincial Park and the parking lot was overflowing with cars. Didn't think much of it because of the time of year and couldn't honestly remember if I'd ever seen it that busy before.

Wednesday I drove past again, same thing, so when I pulled in the lot with my friend, a fellow dog walker we pretty much expected to find a lot of like minded people nothing more. What we didn't expect was to meet up with 3 separate individuals who were there to reach the cliffs to watch the late afternoon sky. As it turns out, you and your site were mentioned a few times and these people had driven a far distance across Ontario to check out the skies for themselves.

Just thought I'd send this positive feedback your way, seems as though people are paying attention and looking sky ward.

Thank you once again for the opportunity to explain what we see and putting it out there for others to share. I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one who benefits from knowing that we aren't alone in what we see.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Comet Like Objects Over A County Road West Of London Ontario

Date: October 17, 2010
Time: 6:40 p.m. - 7:10 p.m.

Location of Sighting: West of London Ontario.
Number of witnesses: 3
Number of Objects: 7
Shape of Objects: Comet like.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Hi Brian, driving along the county road West of London I noticed 2 comets that were traveling straight 'up' in the sky. The sun was setting and I pulled over behind a guy and his wife, who as it turns out were watching the same thing. The sunset was spectacular and we joked that it was hard to decide whether to take our eyes off these objects in the sky or to look at the sun.

The objects path eventually crossed each other, but there was no trail if you know what I mean. They were in the west, slightly further west than the sun. While we chatted and watched the sky, we counted 5 more appearing in different parts of the sky around the original 2. Two were flying or falling down towards the earth, and 1 from the south was shooting up, and another from the north.

Only one stopped as it faded very low in the sky and we commented that it looked like a tiny sun just sitting there to the right of the sun. The sun was a beautiful red as it set, this other faded comet was a mere dot of a very pale orange.

All of the other comets just disappeared with no trails to indicate where they had been traveling.

In between traffic we listened for any sounds that might indicate air craft engines and we could hear nothing, even as 2 flew or descended over our heads. So this wasn't far away, it was the sky immediately over where we stood and directly west of us.

At all times these little comets or commas had the same little tails or short tadpole like trails, rounded at front, thicker and tapering off.

We waited around a bit as it began to get dark thinking we might get lucky to see what they looked like at night, or if something similar would show up but nothing. We noticed a fair amount of cars slowed down traveling west, but no one else stopped. These were very visible through the windshield as I drove and saw the one without craning to look, and quite spectacular.

That's about it, maybe someone has an idea about these comet/commas? Thank you for you time, once again.

Light Comes To A Complete Stop West Of Brandon Manitoba

Date: October 16, 2010
Time: 5:30 a.m.

Location of Sighting: West Of Brandon Manitoba.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 2
Shape of Objects: N/A.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was lying in my duck blind and I mentioned to the person beside me how fast satellite's move (as I thought the light in the sky was a satellite). Then it stopped, I thought to myself what in the world could go that fast and then all of a sudden just come to a complete stop. It stopped and started a couple more times, then underneath it a second light headed straight for it. When they met they both just faded away. Just so there is no confusion there wasn't a cloud in the sky.

Bright Slit Of Silver Light Ascends Over West Of London Ontario

Date: September 30, 2010
Time: 7:10 p.m.

Location of Sighting: West Of London Ontario.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Comet like.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Hello Brian, I just wanted to send this your way. At 7:10 this evening I witnessed a very bright slit of silver light ascend straight up from behind a wooded area not far from where I was standing. The light kept up at a steady fairly fast rate of speed until it was over the tops of the trees. The trees being around 100 to 150 feet in height. Then when above the trees (about 300 feet, double their height is my guess) the light began moving horizontal to the ground at a constant and level speed.

The light or comet shaped object changed from white (intensely bright) to an orangey amber.

I called to my husband who ran down the road toward where I said the thing was headed. He spotted it again above the trees, and watched it disappear behind clouds.

Neither of us heard anything from this craft, we believe it wasn't a comet or a meteor because of the way it appeared, as if from ground level, with a definite ascent and level flight pattern.

We also saw a small private aircraft make two circles of this area at the same time we saw the unusual light. We heard the small craft disappear and return only to cover the same airspace as the other one, we're thinking the small plane was following it.

(On another note Brian, I was speaking with a fellow dog walker about watching the skies, I did not reveal why I was and this woman tells me that their family has been watching the skies lately since their oldest child came in upset about a plane that was seen over their house last week.

This woman doesn't remember the date, only that it was while she was making supper. Her child came running in the house yelling about the plane, when her mother said big deal, go back outside, the child did only to come running back in because now the plane was on fire.

Sadly, the woman's words not mine, she didn't go investigate it because now she says her child won't stop talking about it. This child was sure the plane was on fire or crashing, and she wanted to make sure no one was hurt. There was no sound heard with this aircraft and it was very low.)

I put all this in brackets because it was only a report 'given' to me. I am not sure what I should do.

One, it is as I suspected I am most definitely not the only person to see this at such a low altitude on what seems to be 3 separate occasions.

While I think of it Brian, how come there has been absolutely nothing about the explosion that flattened the house in Baden on the 9th of September ? Nothing from the home owners, nothing about the cause, in the one report I read it said that the propane tank was intact.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this. Thank you.

Bright Burning Orange Object Over West End Of Ottawa Ontario

Date: September 13, 2010
Time: Approx: 8:00 p.m.

I saw your article, and last night at around 8:00pm I saw what you described in your article. It behaved in the exact manner you described. It flew away at a steady rate and was bright burning orange. Have you any ideas who may be operating this device? It indeed looked like a cloud ship amongst the other clouds, but I still don't yet know how It caught my attention. Anyways hope this helps you.

Additional Information:

Yes, it was in the west end of Ottawa Ontario Canada, right in front of the beer store on Merivale road. Yea I know, beer store eh, but yea, it didn't make any erratic movements of any kind, as your posting said, it gently flew away from me and from my perspective looked like a cookie in the sky, from a side view. I am still not sure how it caught my attention, but I knew that it did not look like any cloud I had ever seen, the clouds where the same color that night, orange.

Anyways hopefully this information will be beneficial to you, for me, just left me with more questions and more uncertainties, aliens, or just the military spying on us intelligent ones ;). Anyways happy hunting. I'll let you know of anymore sightings, must have something to do with the chemtrails. I have seen the sprayings on August 29 and September 11, but now I think they are cloaking the planes, or using the UFO technology they so obviously possess. Anyways cheers mate.

Low Flying Pure White Blinding Light West Of London Ontario

Date: September 10, 2010
Time: 9:50 p.m.

Hi Brian, here's hoping your computer is up and running, not les than 10 minutes ago at 9:50pm, we were on the porch (having a ciggie) and watching the 'lights' in their usual S - SW spot.

My husband decided that it was too cold to stay and went inside, about 5 minutes later as I was heading back inside I noticed a light below in the sky through the trees and wondered what the heck that could be. I couldn't believe my eyes, a very bright light, about the size of a train engine headlight and seemed to rise behind and up through the trees and made it's way in my general direction.

The distance from me is about less than a city block. All there is between me and this light is one house, one cul de sac, one street, and the trees (forest) that I'm referring to.

This light was blinding bright and pure white. I stood there watching it get closer, now to my left S.E and realized it was too low to be a plane, and where were those flashing red lights. Then I realized that I was hearing nothing, when I thought that I actually heard a whine or hum, but not as loud as you'd expect. More like really loud cicadas all chirping in tune or something.

Was this a plane, it was headed in the right direction. The height was all wrong, much too low and what about that sound? We have cliffs not far from here that are around 700 or 800 feet high, two blocks away and this white light was between the cliffs and my house and around 1000 to 2000 feet in the air.

All the while the 'moving lights' in the sky flashed, and zig zag in their usual spot. This seems a little too close for comfort. I'm hoping you have a quick and easy explanation to put my mind at rest. We sure would appreciate it. Thank you for your time and consideration Brian.

North Of Highway 401, West Of Highway 400, Toronto Meteor Sighting

Posted: February 18, 2009

Date: January 19, 2009
Time: Approx: 8:08 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Resembled a falling star.
Weather Conditions: Clear night sky with some clouds, and it was cold, sub-zero celsius.

Description: Meteor Sighting

On Monday, 19 January 2009, I was driving north on highway 427 in Etobicoke ON, and approaching the eastbound ramp to highway 401, when I started watching a commercial passenger plane that had apparently just taken off in an eastward direction. As I was merging onto the 401, the plane was still ahead of me and slightly to the east. I'd guess it was a few hundred feet above the ground. It was approximately 8:08 p.m. when I saw what looked like a shooting star low in the sky, falling straight down, in a slightly westward direction. From my angle, it appeared to be slightly behind and below the passing plane. So at first I thought it might have come from the plane, but then later I thought it must be a meteor because the plane wasn't high enough for a dropped object to heat up from friction. The object was bluish-white hot in colour. So it probably entered the atmosphere from space and started burning up on the way down. I watched it for two or three seconds before it would have reached the ground. I didn't actually see it hit the ground, as it went out of sight behind the skyline of some low buildings. From my angle it appeared to have landed north and east of the Radisson Hotel in Rexdale, and to me it appeared to be quite close, maybe a kilometer or two away. However, it's hard to judge distance when you don't know the size of an object, so it could have been much farther. As I watched it fall, the object flared up and got brighter, and in the last second or so several orange sparks were flying off it in a sideways direction. I thought it might start a fire if it hit a building, or at least leave a scorch mark on the ground where it landed.

TV/Radio: I called 680 News in Toronto to report it, and the man said he had received three other calls about it last night.

West Lethbridge, Alberta Three UFOs Filmed (Photo)

Posted: December 30, 2008

Date: August 15, 2008
Time: Evening.

Hi Brian, This was taken over Lakie school on the west side of Lethbridge. My name is (name removed). I also saw a large ship fly over my house, it came out of the sky like a cartoon, the sky opened up, and it came right towards me, it was tree level. The ship was shaped like a cigar. I could see the material it was made of.

Additional Information:

Hi Brian, The photo was taken with a cell phone camera, it might be difficult to send a larger version. And yes the strange lights appeared out of nowhere, and were only there for about a minute or two, they all shot off extremely fast in the same direction. I think my friend sent you the same picture that I emailed to you. Thank you for taking a look at this photo.

Thank you to the witness for sending along the report and photo. Also the photo is copyright 2008 to the owner, meaning the person who took the picture.

Eagle Harbour West Vancouver, British Columbia Round Intense Green Ball

Posted: November 23, 2008

Date: July 5, 2008
Time: Between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Eagle Harbour.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Green round small, the colour very intense green.

Full Description of event/sighting: I had someone working in the garden, late on July 5th. She left between 9-9:30 pm and I went out to wave good-bye. I looked up and saw a small round object, intense green in colour and high above the trees. It moved slowly and without sound across my street and disappeared behind the trees on the opposite side of the street. It seemed on a predesigned course. I was very surprised and wondered what it could be. It did not seem like a toy or a UFO, more like a new techno invention being tried out. I am more convinced of this after searching the next day on the Web and coming across this website and the report about the UBC sighting. I was relieved that someone else had seen something similar although a bit different (shape changing etc). Whatever it was it was, was strange and it took me a long time to report this as I did not want to seem like some sort of "oddball". I am 65 years of age, don't smoke or drink and don't take any substances.

Thank you to the witness for their report.

West Caledon Just South Of Orangeville, Ontario Saucer Or Diamond Shaped Object

Posted: November 2, 2008

Date: November 1, 2008
Time: 10:45 p.m.

Location of Sighting: west Caledon ON, just south of Orangeville
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Saucer or diamond shape.

Full Description of event/sighting: While watching TV in front of patio door, huge glowing object caught my attention. I called the wife over, turned TV off and we watched it cross our view for about 15 seconds. Object was travelling west to east, toward Aurora, and not changing in altitude, which I would estimate to be 5000 - 10000 feet. I would estimate speed at twice that of a jet, about 1000 mph. It appeared to be quite large, and we could make out a defined shape in the consistent white glow. My first impression, and my wife agrees, was a round saucer shape tilted forward 15-30 degrees. There was a glow to the rear which would also make it appear diamond shape like the other nearby report from last night ( we are 40 miles SW of Lake Simcoe.) From inside the house we did not hear any noise. Object was definitely too slow to be a meteor and was close enough that we could see a solid core in the glow, so I if 3 miles away, the size would be over 150 feet across.

Object must have been just south of Orangeville and the visibility was very clear with heavy jet traffic approaching Pearson Airport from the north. I would be really surprised if no one else saw this as it was so huge and in view for a long time. Immediately after observing the object, one of the jets made a dozen zig zag maneuvers, and turned his spotlights on, I think he was reacting to the object crossing his path, and then (I'm guessing) air traffic control started using another approach path as the jet traffic in my view immediately stopped. We were seeing a plane every 2 minutes, and then only one more followed the zig zagging one into Pearson.

Thank you to the witness for their report.

UFO Gives A Kelowna Man The Fright Of His Life, West Of Kamloops, British Columbia

I (Brian Vike) had been wandering around the town of Houston, British Columbia when I met a person who stopped me and asked if I had heard from a man who lives in Kelowna, British Columbia over a UFO sighting he had.

The lady ended up giving me the name and number of the guy who wanted to contact me.

His name is Harry who at one time used to live in Houston, British Columbia where I reside, and he was eager to tell his story of what went on around the Savona, British Columbia area. He related an amazing story to me over what he experienced.

Harry had a large UFO incident which took place on August 31, 2008 at approximately 1:30 a.m. when he was on a week's holiday.

The man was driving his pickup truck and pulling a trailer. All was fine on his journey as he traveled down Highway 97 heading south from Lac La Hache.

He came to a main junction at Cache Creek where the highway can take you to Vancouver, British Columbiafollowing highway 97 south, or you can head east on the Trans-Canada Highway 1.

The shortest route for him was the highway 1 which headed towards Kamloops, British Columbia and other communities along the way.

I should point out that this entire region of British Columbia is a hot, dry area. The climate around Savona is a semi-arid steppe climate due to its rainshadow location.

While situated in a semi-arid valley, Savona has winters that are generally mild and very short with an occasional cold snap where temperatures can drop to around -30 °C (-22 °F) when arctic air floods over the Rocky Mountains into the interior.

Harry reached Savona, still heading east and on the left/north side of the highway there is a fairly large company with all different types of used mining equipment scattered throughout their property.

Just down the road a way, he came to a little store off to the side of the highway. All of a sudden to his right/south and coming from over top of the mountain was a very bright light.

At first he thought maybe it might be people driving a 4x4 vehicle, but he quickly thought about it and he knew at that point there were no dirt roads on the side of the mountain.

The light was still moving about and coming directly at him. (keep in mind this mountain wasn't all that high in altitude)

As the light drew closer to him he was able to see clearly that this wasn't just one light, but three. Two lights positioned at the top and a single light at the bottom. Basically the lights took on the shape of a triangle.

Eventually the three lights swooped down towards him and crossed over top the Trans-Canada Highway 1 and Harry's truck, placing the object on the north side of the highway and flying at tree top level.

The craft made a turn and was now heading in the same direction as Harry was traveling, which would be east towards Kamloops, British Columbia.

Harry tried to keep an eye on the object, but at the same time watching where he was driving. The craft seemed to be pacing the truck then rose up slightly and then again swooped downward and Harry finally lost sight of it.

He said it surprised him that the object vanished as he was sure it would appear again. Harry tried to rationalize what he had seen. Maybe an aircraft with pontoons landing on the lake, etc. But nothing seemed to click into place for him because it was a very unusual sight.

Excitement over with, Harry continued driving. He went up a steep part of a hill which had a few sharp curves, he gets to the top and starts his descent down the hill and ahead of him on the highway, coming in his direction are the same lights he just finished observing minutes ago.

He thought to himself, this has to be a truck or some type of vehicle and they should meet up very quickly. To his surprise the lights vanished once again.

There was no turn off that he was aware of, so as he sat in his vehicle he wondered what the heck was going on.

Not too far down the highway he spots what appears to be blue and white flashing lights and he thought that maybe there was a police road block or an accident.

He slows the truck down preparing to come to a stop if need be, but what he thought was an emergency vehicle on the road wasn't the case. About 500 to 600 feet off to the left hand side of the highway was a strobing light.

Harry said the flashing was intense, approximately every half second there was another flash. It was so fast and so very bright. Also it was stationary just off of the ground.

All of a sudden the object jumped (as Harry put it), in other words, from a stationary position it appeared to rise up and drop down again. If you can, picture children playing leap frog is the best term that I can think of to use to illustrate the UFOs movements.

He said the object went from a stop, then made about a 20 foot jump into the air in a split second, it jumped again and this time it made an estimated jump of approximately 50 to 60 feet and then it kept jumping at greater distances.

He figured the UFO was now moving around 500 feet at a time. The object made numerous jumps and Harry wasn't sure if he was able to hear any sound or not. He thought the UFO gave off a swooshing sound, but again he couldn't be completely sure of this.

This thing traveled along at an incredible speed. It made a final jump which had it heading straight towards Harry's truck. Pretty much freaking out at this point, Harry said the UFO, with one of the last jumps, landed maybe 100 feet behind the trailer he was pulling.

This would have had the UFO hitting the asphalt/road behind him. After this he wasn't able to see the UFO anymore. He said he hit the gas pedal and was out of there.

He told me that he had no plans of stopping to check this out and wanted to get out of there as fast as possible. That was it for his night's scary encounter with an Unidentified Flying Object.

If anyone has witnessed the UFO/Object, please send me an email with details of what you saw. Please remember to include the date and time and location. (Town/City – State or Province) and as much detail as possible.
