It sounds like a lot of folks witnessed an object/fireball over Halifax, Nova Scotia on Thursday January 26, 2012.

Last night I saw a large green ball without a tail slowly falling from the sky at approx. 9:30pm on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. However, this isn't the first time I had seen it, about 3 weeks before I saw a very similar object falling at about the same speed... Any idea what it could be?
