Whitby, Ontario A Diamond Shaped Object

Posted: November 1, 2008

Date: October 12, 2008
Time: 8:00 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 10
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Diamond shaped.
Weather Conditions: Clear.

Description: at about 8:00 p.m. a diamond-shaped bright orange object travelling from south to north over Lake Simcoe visible for approx. 30 seconds. The object appeared to have a bright flame in one corner. It was not a satellite or weather balloon. Completely silent as well.

-----

UFOINFO Note: As with other similar reports I asked the witness to have a look at the UFO Balloons website to see if this is what might have been seen and received the following reply:

Thanks so much for getting back to us so quickly. We viewed the website and these UFO balloons. What we saw was similar in colour and the diaphanous nature, but it didn't have a three dimensional quality - it seemed quite flat. Moreover, the diamond shaped portion - what seemed diaphanous - was huge in comparison to the light - perhaps five or six times the size of the light, which seemed to be underneath this diamond. Also, it moved much faster than any balloon that we know of could. Any other information we can provide you with?

Montreal, Quebec White Streak Across The Sky

Posted: October 31, 2008

Date: October 5, 2008
Time: Approx: 9:00 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 3
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Streak across the sky.
Weather Conditions: Few clouds.

Description: I was walking home with some friends. Being intrigued by the night sky, I point to a twinkling light and ask whether it's a
star or a planet. And right when my friends look up, a white streak fades into view, sweeps the sky from west to east for a tad less than two seconds, and disappears. We all looked at each other and asked ourselves "what was that!?" It looked somewhat like a shooting star but much brighter and much closer than what we would expect. It definitely seemed like something burned up in the atmosphere. But what? I don't know. It was quite a sight though (even if brief).

Edmonton, Alberta Bright Object Makes A Smooth Zig-Zag Motion

Posted: October 31, 2008

Date: October 27, 2008
Time: Approx: 7:40 a.m.

Good morning Brian, I hope your weekend was relaxing and enjoyable for you! I have a new experience to share with you! It isn't that exciting really, but it is similar to several stories I've read here on the site, so I thought I should submit mine too. Here it goes.

This morning (Monday, Oct. 27, 08) at around 7:40 AM, about 45 minutes before full sunrise, though the sky was brightening relatively quickly and there was a handful of bright stars/planets to be seen, I saw out my back (South-southwest facing) windows a bright light in the sky. This light was brighter than any other star or planet I could see at the time, and moving from west to east across northern Edmonton, Alberta.

The light was very bright, and there were no blinking lights with it. It had a smooth zig-zag to it's flight, like long curves similar to a slalom skier going across the sky. After watching it for about 90 seconds there was a small flash located significantly behind it, which was slightly less bright than the light itself. Given how fast the light was moving and it's apparent altitude, the flash could have been a couple hundred meters behind the light. It almost seemed like a flare but it was gone much too quickly for that to be it. I opened the back door to listen but couldn't distinguish any noise from it over the general din of the city. I then moved to the front window and watched it continue on Westward until I couldn't see it anymore.

I checked "Heavens Above" to see where the International Space Station was, and it showed the ISS was heading from North West to South East and was near the Atlantic. I've seen satellites and the ISS before. This light seemed smaller than the ISS but about as bright, and much bigger and brighter than satellites. I don't think it was the ISS because the direction is wrong, and I don't think the ISS can change directions as rapidly as this light was. Furthermore, there was a plane flying at high altitude in the sky at the time, and was on a flight path to cross over the light's path in a minute or so. I was able to clearly see the blinking lights on the plane at that higher altitude, and that the plane wasn't reflecting enough light from the rising Sun to make it very bright. The light was much brighter than the plane and had no blinking lights at all. Finally, I've seen individual meteors and meteor showers, and can recognize one when I see it. The light lasted nearly 3 minutes that I could see, which at that time I lost in the brightness of the rising Sun.

It was an odd thing to see, and it's movement is what convinced me to write in. The zig-zags were very smooth and seemed intentional. Thanks!

Thank you to the witness for their report.

Lake Ontario Red Glowing Spheres And Military Jets (UFOs)

Posted: October 31, 2008

Date: October 31, 2008
Time: 11:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Lake Ontario.
Number of witnesses: 10
Number of objects: 5
Shape of objects: Red glowing spheres.

Full Description of event/sighting: There were a bunch of red glowing spheres moving across over Lake Ontario. They weren't planes because they would go side to side and up and down. After of 2 hours of watching these lights a bunch of army jets breaking the speed of sound were all over the place. I went inside to see what was happening and supposedly there are very similar objects in the skies all over the globe.

Very strange. I went to bed around 2:00 a.m.

Also they were traveling around the border of the lake and everywhere. One came so close to me I could make out how the bottom looked like. Extremely insane.

Thank you to the witness for their report.

Meteor Between Temiscaming, Quebec And North Bay, Ontario

Posted: October 31, 2008

Date: October 30, 2008
Time: Approx: 4:30 a.m.

Hi Brian, I was driving to work yesterday morning and saw what I would assume to be a meteor around 4:30 AM. I Googled it today to find out if there were any news reports or any other witnesses and your website came up with the Moose Jaw report.

It looked about 3 times bigger than a shooting star and much slower. It had an orange glow and a tail. There were no blinking lights so that rules out a helicopter. It was moving North across Hwy 63. When I saw it, I had already passed by the intersection of Hwy 533. When I got to work, I was talking with a co-worker and he saw it too. He was also in his vehicle so we didn't hear any 'boom'.

Just thought I would let you know about this and see what you thought. I thought it was pretty cool.

Thank you to the witness for their report.
