Hundreds Of Lights Revolving In Line Around The Babine Mountains Seen From Smithers British Columbia

Time:  Evening.

Hi Brian. I'm watching the 1970's movie Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind. As every UFO movie I watch it reminds me of the various unexplained encounters I've witnessed in my life. One in particular I want to share with you is from what I recollect as the late 1970's in Smithers B.C. My guess 1979.

I have searched online and found nothing of what I recollect. First about me, I'm currently 47, I was born and raised in Smithers, British Columbia. I was somewhere between 8 and 13 at the time of this event.

To my recollection it was winter time, I recall going home after playing outside with friends and as we got nearer to the houses we saw people coming out of their houses, all looking to the east, away from Bulkley mountain towards Babine mountains. Yes this was a big event, was even in the paper, the Interior News.

There were even photos if I recall correctly. There were multiple lights far off in the distance, high up like above the tree line on The Babine mountains. As far away Babine mountain is from Smithers the lights where miles long, all parallel and seeming to circumnavigate the mountain peak, it's along time ago, I recall hundreds of lights and they were revolving in line around the peak. In the days following and in the local paper" Interior News" there were pictures and an explanation that it was a snowmobile party.

There were snowmobiles in them days but the likelihood seemed odd, far away, limited roads, multiple lights? Anyway I was hoping in your stories you've heard, you may have heard this or may have a contact to verify? Again I believe multiple residents, hundreds witnessed this with it hitting the paper. Thank you.

Two White Lights Circling In The Night Sky Over Edmonton Alberta

Hello, I was walking home 5 minutes ago and I saw 2 white lights circling in the sky and It was following me back until I got home. 

This was at 9:25 p.m. in Edmonton, Alberta.

Multiple Eyewitness And Newspaper Report On Unknown Moving Red Lights On Mount Arrowsmith In British Columbia

Hello Brian, I have just read a article in the Parksville paper that was from March 30 2012. It was about a sighting over Mount Arrowsmith, that involved a light in the sky, some moving red lights and no noise.

I experienced that way back in 2002 -2004 ish, its been a long time. It was 100 percent the same experience.

I was sitting on the helicopter pad at the top of the hump and it was around 9-10 p.m.

I was startled to read this as I never really made anything of it because I thought most would think I was nuts.

Object Appeared To Be Cylindrical Standing Upwards Burnaby British Columbia

Date:  July 30, 2017

Time:  7:30 p.m. - 8:10 p.m.

Object seen shimmering brightly around 7:30 p.m. on July 30, 2017. The brightness varied from very low to very high so that at the high point it appeared to be cylindrical standing upwards.

The object was stationary at first for about 15 minutes, but then started moving slowly in a southerly direction.

It kept moving in southerly direction so that after another 20 minutes it was no longer visible. Brought attention of several people nearby to the object. Did not have a camera or device to capture video or picture. The object was 60 degrees up from horizon.

Large Object And Numerous Smaller Lights Over Port Hope Ontario

Date:  May 10, 2017

Time:  1:15 a.m.

Hello, last night I was awaken by coyotes making a lot of noise at 1:15 a.m. I got out of bed and checked to make sure all my pets were inside. I live in Port Hope, Ontario and on the ravine.

When I returned to bed, I saw a very big reddish yellow light hovering low in the sky, almost over Trinity school.

I immediately thought it was a meteorite because it vanished. Seconds later it reappeared and appeared to be hovering for 2-3 minutes. When it disappeared again I got up and went to the window. I could see other smaller lights blinking and moving and hovering in all directions away from the initial lights.

After a few minutes they would gather again and form one or two big lights in the sky. This went on until almost 4:00 a.m. The lights then headed towards the lake and vanished.

It was too big to be a drone, definitely not a helicopter or plane. I'm not sure what it was, but I did take videos of it, although my videos are not that clear because it was a distance away.

You can clearly see that the lights are brighter than street lights and bigger and vanish and then reappear. I woke my husband and showed him too because I have never seen anything like it. Thanks.
