Over North Surrey, B.C. White Lights In A Triangular Pattern
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 7, 2006 Time: 02:35
Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Triangular
Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, glad to see you seem to be feeling better. Monday morning I was going through one of my brief periods of insomnia brought about by all the hot weather we had been having. I was sitting here playing with my computer and glancing out the window every few moments. I had just had a quick look around and saw nothing but no sooner had I glanced back at my computer when a bright flash caught my attention. I looked up and saw three large white lights arranged in a triangular pattern with a white strobe in the centre. For a second I thought it was a plane as it was flying with the base of the triangle as the leading edge. I quickly grabbed my binoculars and managed to observe it for several seconds. All I could make out was a vague dark shape between the lights and even the strobe didn't appear to light up the area around it.
There were no other lights that I could see other than the white ones. No green or red running lights. It was flying at approx:. 1000 ft. west bound towards the airport. It appeared to be in a shallow dive doing approx:. 200 mph. Judging by its rate of descent I don't think it would have reached the airport unless it flattened out after I lost sight of it behind my bldg. I doubt if it was more than about a quarter of a mile away when I first saw it and completely silent. The sky was completely clear that night and traffic noise was pretty well none existent so I should have been able to hear it if it was a plane. As to where it came from I've no idea, I had just looked out and seen nothing, yet there it was almost two thirds of the was across my window. It was almost as if it had just materialized at that spot and continued from there. Just remembered size. Well not sure but appeared bigger than most private planes but smaller than two engine commercial jet.
Just a few comments re: other reports.
That silver cigar shaped object sounds just like the one I saw over by Burnaby Mountains you may recall it vanished over the Hydro line across from Pt. Moody. It appeared to have been following the harbour eastward.
A while back you had a report of an object with red lights flying over Burnaby, Coquiltlam etc. I believe that was approx:. one am. During that week the new Police chopper (Air one) was up almost every night between midnight and approx:. two am. They made a number of orbits over Surrey, Coquitlam, N. Burnaby and then appeared to swing south over E. Vancouver and then I would lose sight of them until they reappeared over my bldg. heading back over Coquitlam. I don't know if you have seen the movie Blue Thunder but Air one reminds me of that Movie chopper when it was in whisper mode. When it passes over my bldg. all I hear is a slight whistling sound as it approaches and then as it comes into sight a sort of swooshing sound for a few moments then nothing. That chopper is amazing as well as beautiful to look at. Almost forgot why I brought it up. When they are doing their thing late at night and there is no other air traffic they often run with just red lights showing. Probably they can see better without the green and white lights flashing in their eyes. I suspect that it was the witness saw.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Southwest Oshawa/Whitby, Ontario Silver Cigar Shaped Object
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 9, 2006 Time: 2:45 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Silver Cigar.
Full Description of event/sighting: This just happened five minutes ago. I just went outside to have a cigarette and as I glanced up into the clear blue sky to the southwest for one split second I saw a silver cigar shaped object, clearly far away in the distant pretty high up, just all of a sudden vanish into thin air. It could have been visible for longer I have no idea, but as soon as I glanced up and saw it, it seemed to have vanished into nothing or disappear into the upper atmosphere. This is odd as right when I went to go outside I was reading the recent report on here about someone seeing a 6 story tall object here in Oshawa back in 1991.
The front of my house faces exactly south towards the lake so it was definitely in the southwestern sky. My heart is jumping as I type this. I live very close to the Oshawa/Whitby border so it may have been south Whitby. I am at a loss for words and my friend whom just arrived and heard my story thinks I am crazy but I know what I saw.
I hope someone else saw it as right now there is not a cloud in the sky and it is a great day out.
Cheers and thanks for doing that interview with me in the past Brian. I am sorry I did not get back to you about the second interview as I have been busy with family things.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Kingsway And Edmonds Burnaby, B.C. Triangular Object Observed
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 12, 2006 Time: 11:20 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 3 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Triangle
Full Description of event/sighting: At 11:20 pm, my 7 year old, 11 year old and I were watching TV when the television went off. My oldest child turned it back on and it went off again. (It is only one TV that does this) I immediately knew there was a craft in the sky because this had happened a few months ago around the time that my oldest child told me he saw a UFO in the sky in Vancouver. Our previous report is posted here on this website under Vancouver. (We have now moved to Burnaby, BC.) We got out the telescope and sure enough there was a triangle shape UFO hovering south west of Edmonds and Kingsway. It was flashing red, and green and white with flashes of varying intensity. It is now 12:00 am and it is still there.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

West of Rosthern, Saskatchewan Numerous Objects Being Observed
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 6, 2006 Time: 11:45 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 5 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Round
Full Description of event/sighting: I have found though my past research that sometimes something happens once in a while when you just have to seek out thoughts and people with the similar experiences to try to understand that certain happening, this is one of those times. This incident was both mind-boggling and amazing. I would truly appreciate it if anyone else tries this or has tried it that they would contact me with their experience or results for comparison.
I must admit that I was a little reluctant in attempting this mainly because of reports of those who have tried it and had some bad experiences and results but I feel we are not going to learn much more about these things by only looking at videos and photos. If there really is a risk, at least for me its worth taking in hopes of learning something new. It could very well be communication, although very basic.
For the past few weeks there has been a dramatic increase in UFOs (daylight white spheres) over Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada which for some reason seems to be a yearly happening at this time of year and I do admit that I feel there is a relationship to the Saskatchewan's crop circle season which is just getting under way. It's getting to a point where it is frustrating seeing these things and not given the opportunity to learn more. When these spherical UFOs show up in the daylight skies they have a tendency to sit motionless for some time before either disappearing on the spot or slowly traveling across the sky until out of sight. I began to wonder if they are also around at night so this past weekend my family and I decided to go out to our family acreage away from the city lights and set up a tent, some lounging chairs and just see what happens in the sky throughout the night with the accompaniment of a very bright flashlight.
It was a beautiful clear night as we set up camp on a hilltop and then sat in our chairs to begin what I hoped to be an interesting night of sky watching. For the first hour or so of darkness we watched in amazement at how bright the stars where compared to in the city and discussed the various usual satellites that we were seeing crossing the sky in a perfectly straight orbit. It was then that I reached for my flashlight and while looking up at a small portion of the sky I turned the light on and then off very quickly. I really have no idea why I picked that particular area of the sky. What I saw kind of shocked me. What I thought was just another star sitting motionless began to move slowly to the right in relationship to the surrounding stars and also taking a slightly curved path almost as if the flash from my light was a cue to begin moving, almost as if I woke it up.
Without thinking I again flashed my light, but this time I was almost in disbelief as I observed it flash right back instantly with a brief but very strong white light. Almost speechless I pointed the area of the sky out to the others with me. Maybe 10 seconds had passed and now we were all watching this object move slowly, much slower than the satellites we saw previously. As it made a slight turn I then flashed my light at it twice with maybe a 3 second interval between flashes. With all of us watching, it sent back two immediate flashes with the second one being much brighter and intense. As you can imagine, everyone's excitement was also intense. By now the object has sped up a bit and I wanted to keep flashing at it but purposely waited about 30 seconds before I tried it again, when I gave it a single quick flash it immediately sent back a flash that was much, much brighter than any previous flash. It was hard to tell if the flash it gave was at a higher intensity or if the object itself was at a lower altitude. After the last flash it gave us it just proceeded a short distance and then just disappeared, like it went out. The rest of the night was pretty uneventful except for a few shooting stars, more satellites and a great borealis show.
It wasn't an airplane, it wasn't a satellite. What was it? I don't know. But what ever it was, was it using very basic communication or acknowledgment? Again, I don't know but I do plan on pursuing this further and just maybe I found a new tool for my research.
As mentioned earlier, I would very much appreciate hearing any thoughts or from anyone with similar experiences. I can be contacted at the below email address.

Burnaby, British Columbia Seem To Be Triangular
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 12, 2006 Time: 9:50 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 3 Number of objects: 2 Shape of objects: Seem to be triangular.
Full Description of event/sighting: Last evening we saw a UFO and so tonight I kept watching the sky. At approximately 9:50 pm I found what looked like a star flashing. I got out the telescope and sure enough it was another of the UFO's like we'd seen last night , but further away. We found two barely visible through the telescope , but we could see that they were flashing red and blue lights, with white being the most visible with the naked eye. So to the average person they simply look like stars unless you look with a telescope. Both of my children witnessed the two craft. They have stayed in the same spot for the past 39 minuets. It is now 10:29 pm. There was what seemed to be an airplane that crossed beneath them at a much lower altitude. I am not sure if it was the same airplane that came back or if there were two airplanes but they moved visibly fast across the sky and did not stay in the same spot as the two UFOs.
The location of the UFOs was looking over the back of the Value Village from Edmonds street, just above the south east corner and the other one was just above the south west corner of Value Village but more at a high altitude. The one to the left disappeared around 10: 20 but the one to the right is still hovering there but has moved gradually just slightly to the right and has stayed there for the past 10 minuets or so. And it has pulsing colors of red, sometimes green and blue with white being most intense.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Calgary, Alberta Object Very Bright And Lower Than The Airliners

Full Description of event/sighting: Sunday morning, I decided to go get the newspaper across the lane. It is very dark in the lane at that time. I was looking up on my way back home to see if I could see the meteor shower. In the back lane you can't see west, because of a 10 story building. Looking straight up I saw a very bright orange light traveling east. I ran down the lane to my place watching it, it just kept going until I couldn't see it any more, and just as I lost sight of it, a meteor came down in the same area east of the city. I've seen the meteors many times before. It just went across the sky from where I saw it east. It was very bright, lower than the airliners that fly up there. It lasted about 10 to 15 seconds and was very fast for that distance. Thanks, I'm sure others saw it as you couldn't miss it. Please omit my name from this report, thanks.

NNE Of Burke Mountain, Port Coquitlam A Glowing Ping Pong Ball

Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, it was exceptionally clear the other night and that multi colored star/light whatever? was really putting on a good show. I decided to video tape it in time lapse and see if I could get some good shots. After getting the camera set up and running I was looking at it (the star) through my 10X binoculars. I noticed just below and to its right what appeared to be two small dim stars. I didn't pay much attention at first then realized that one of them was pulsing, bright to dim, Never really vanishing and not as fast as a strobe or as bright. That kind of caught my attention. I switched over to my bigger binoculars, half expecting the light to be gone by the time I got them aimed in that direction. But for once the object was still there. Turned out that what I thought was a single light was actually two globes one situated slightly behind the other. The one in the forefront was pulsing from a bright yellow and down to a dull orange and back again.
The rearward globe was going from the appearance of a glowing ping pong ball to the greyish sheen of a pearl. I could not tell if they were connected but both were pulsing in unison and after watching for a few moments I realized they were slowly drifting in an easterly direction. I could not tell how high or how far away they were but they possibly were either in space or close to it. With the naked eye I couldn't see them at all. They moved to slow to be either a plane or a satellite. I watched them for approx: five minutes until they just seemed to fade away. They maintained the same distance and appearance the whole time I was watching.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Burnaby, British Columbia Flashing Or Pulsing Colored Lights

Date: August 14, 2006 Time: From 10:29 until 11:10 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 3 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Triangular
Full Description of event/sighting: Since August 12, 2006 when our attention to UFOs in the night sky was drawn by something that kept turning our TV off, we have been watching the sky for more UFOs. Again tonight we spotted one. It looked like a star in the sky but through the telescope we could see flashing or pulsing red, blue, white and sometimes green light. It stayed in the same spot of the sky from 10:29 until 11:10 and then it moved to the right behind the telephone poll and disappeared. We never saw it again. There is no doubt that this was definitely not a star as it moved and disappeared suddenly. I am currently trying to find out where to buy a more high powered telescope. A video camera would be great too.
This UFO was seen from Edmonds Street looking in the direction of Kingsway avenue and the object was high in the sky positioned just between the two high rises on the south corner of the intersection there. Very curious !
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Moosomin, Saskatchewan Elongated Diamond Shaped Object
Posted: Janaury 19, 2008
Date: August 14, 2006 Time: Approx 10:40 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Elongated diamond, sort of.
Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, well of all places. I was coming back from Saskatoon yesterday/last night and was in Moosomin at the southern part of town. I was traveling with a group. We had a vehicle break down as we made our way from Saskatoon. Everyone was at the breakdown before Moosomin (north of the town) as I waited for them to get back on the road I was out of the truck and looking up at the night sky, admiring the milky way.
It was approximately 10:40 when suddenly and silently an object came from the south and headed north. I watched as it flew right overhead, very quick speed and faster than the speed of a military fighter. It covered the entire sky in about 4 or 5 seconds. It was totally silent and made no noise and had no contrail. There were no lights on it that I could see. The object itself had a faint glow as I watched it head straight north and disappear on the horizon. The object looked like an elongated diamond but the sides cut off. It was fairly high, but not high enough where I had a problem making it out. It was very clear in the sky to see. I will send you a drawing through my email.
If I missed something..feel free to ask. Take care.
Additional Information:
I should explain that drawing I made, was the bottom of the object from what I saw as it passed overhead. But I also would like to say that as it headed north it appeared that it may have been the same shape all around as that's all. Thanks.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Heritage Mountain In Port Moody A Small White Strobe Flashing
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 16, 2006 Time: Approx: 4:15 a.m.
One more unusual sighting. Approx: 04:15 this morning the 16 of Aug. I was sitting here looking out at all the lights while waiting for the sunrise and noticed a small white strobe flashing over Heritage Mountain in Port Moody. Usually there is not much in the air at that time of the night so I took a look through my binoculars and noticed a small bright red strobe next to the white one. So the logical assumption would be, small plane. I continued to track it in a westerly direction towards Seymour Mountain. The speed and altitude all implied small plane. The object took up perhaps 1/10 of the field of view, maybe less then that. suddenly the entire field of view was filled by large white and red strobes. I ended up panning back and forth trying to take them all in. These new strobes were much bigger than the first two. I was trying to see if this was one huge object or many flying in unison. But it was too dark to make out anything other than the lights. After about 30 seconds the big lights went out and the two small ones continued on their way. I lost sight of them over by Grouse Mountain in North Vancouver.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Nipawin, Saskatchewan A Series Of Red And White Lights
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 15 - 16, 2006 Time: 11:00 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: No shape, just 3 lights.
Full Description of event/sighting: Brian, I've been wondering whether or not I should report this, but after reading the similarities to the August 19th report from Port Moody I thought I better speak up. My girlfriend and I have been spending sometime this summer enjoying the night sky and observing the usual things, satellites, meteorites, etc. Well on August 15th and 16th at 11:00 I noticed a series of red and white lights moving across the sky that was low enough to be a plane, but as far as I could tell, made no apparent noise and moved slower than what a plane would've flown. I could make no shape out of this object, just 3 flashing lights. There was one red light on the "front" that would flash and that flash was followed by two white flashes from the back. The object did not appear to be very big, as big as a small plane perhaps. Besides the lights, nothing else could be ascertained about the shape of the object. This is actually the fourth time I have seen this object in the last 3 months or so and it seems to come from the south and then heads in a northern direction.
There is an airport south of Nipawin so this may very well be a small aircraft cruising around. Anyways, that's it for now.
Thank you to the witness for their report.

Black Point, Nova Scotia A Disc Hovering Over My Aunt & Uncles House
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 18, 2006 Time: 1:18-1:25 a.m.
Location of Sighting: Flying above neighbors house. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: A giant round object with two big spot lights on bottom and two large flashing blue and red lights on the bottom as well.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was in bed, and we are near a route for airplanes and I've lived here close to 6 years and by now I know what airplanes sounds like.
At first before I was going to go to bed I went to close my window and I happened to look out and there was this blue small orb just dancing across the sky zig zagging and such. I knew what it was so I didn't want to believe it so I went back to bed.
A couple minutes passed and I couldn't sleep because I left my window open in my bathroom and I went to close it and I happen to look around because I've been hearing these loud airplane noises going by for a while and I couldn't see any going by, then this big round disc showed up out of the blue hovering over my aunt and uncles house, which is right beside us. It was about 20 feet on top of the house and maybe going about 20mph. I could see the out line of the craft, it was round, but on the bottom was 4 lights, 2 were big spot lights on the top and end of the craft, and on each side were two blinking lights which were blinking with a white and blue light.
It was traveling slow so I ran back to the other side of the room, which was on the front. As the object went higher it slowly made it towards the distance and turned off it's bottom lights. Now what I could see was these red top lights. It hovered in the sky for about 3 minutes until it slowly faded, but for a couple more minutes I could still see a tinge of red lights in the sky then all the sudden it vanished.
*Note: I have came across something similar to this kind of object once before around this time last year, but earlier in the day and just after the sun went down at 8:00 p.m. We were driving a no street light, old light house route and something similar to this had appeared over the trees and it hovered over our car about 20 feet for about 5 minutes following us. I could see the lights on the bottom of the craft which were all white big lights, then in turned and went over the trees and vanished. I wouldn't doubt it was the same thing.*

Seeleys Bay, Ontario Oval Shaped Craft With A Chrome Finish (Diagram)
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 18, 2006 Time: 7:55 p.m.
HBCC UFO Research Note: I wrote back to the witness and he informed me that everything happened so fast that the information below is about all that can be provided. Also names were provided to HBCC UFO which of course I removed from the report.
A man and his two children were taking pictures of the wonderful sunset in the western sky. They were all looking up when they saw a strange object. The witness said he was going to raise his camera again to try to capture a photo of the object, but it had already disappeared.
It was oval in shape, very shiny, like it had a chrome finish. There were windows or lights with a golden color, possibly sunlight reflection.
Thank you to the witness for the report and diagram.

Laval, Quebec A Glowing Ball Exploded And Disappeared
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 19, 2006 Time: 11:00 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Round ball.
Full Description of event/sighting: Glowing ball shot through the sky last night right over our house then exploded and disappeared. There was no sound at all. We drove around this morning to see if there was any debris of chunks of meteorite or possibly space ship reminisce, but didn't see anything. Pretty neat and scary. The ball came directly at our house but blew up before it hit us.
Additional Information:
Hi there, Thanks so much for the reply, I didn't expect anyone to actually write me back! So thank you for sharing my excitement.
It really looked like a large ball of white light, very large, with a trail of grey smoke behind it. (You asked if it had a trail, so there must be something to that? meteor?) No sound at all even when it exploded) North/northeast heading south. I looked on the internet news to see if it was mentioned and so far nothing. I will try to watch the news tonight. Also there is a large woods area near here and it was headed in that direction, when we drove around we found nothing, if it went in there or bits of it, it would be hard to find...too bad :(
Thank you to the witness for the report.

South Edmonton, Alberta Cluster Of Lights In Formation
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 20, 2006 Time: 1:00 a.m.
Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 8 Shape of objects: Cluster of lights in formation.
Full Description of event/sighting: My friend was walking me home across the field between our houses, on the south side of Edmonton. Suddenly a small cluster of lights appeared on the northern edge of the horizon. There were maybe about 6-8 small points of white light, and they were in formation such that there were two 'rings' of lights one above the other, it made me think of an octagonal tube. They were moving very fast across the sky, much faster than a plane or a helicopter would have been able to travel, and they were rotating in formation as they moved, so that the basic shape of the formation seemed more or less maintained. They were not overly bright, seeming almost dim or immaterial at times, more like glowing points of light than really bright spotlights. The word that came to mind was "cloud of lights" but more structured.
I stopped dead when I saw it, and followed it's trajectory silently halfway across the sky (thinking I was crazy) before I said to my friend "Do you see that?" and pointed it out. She also saw what I have described. She didn't see it right away, but was wondering what I was looking at until I pointed it out to her. It almost seemed insubstantial at times, as it moved, probably because of the kind of rotating movement it was describing as it traveled, and because of its great speed. We watched it out of range to the south. It only took a few seconds for it to cross the entire night sky.
We were (and I still am) really freaked out. I've never seen anything like this before. I know I saw it, only because I have a witness to confirm it. I found one other similar sounding story on this website, also from Edmonton, but other than that nothing seems similar to what we saw tonight.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Edmonton, Alberta Delta Wing Shaped Craft With 8 Rectangular Ports
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 13, 2006 Time: Approx: 2:33 a.m.
Message: Last August 13th, in the wee hours of the morning, I was observing the Perseids meteor shower. At approximately 2:33, something moving in the sky caught my eye. The object appeared from behind a 30 story apartment complex which is approximately 500 meters from where I was observing.
The object was fairly difficult to see since it had no visible lights on it and it was in during the darkest part of the evening. It's elevation, with respect to the horizon was approximately 15 degrees, and is seemed to be within 2 or 3 kilometers distance from my observation point.
The moon was almost full and was very low on the horizon that night. The object was traveling horizontally from my vantage point, so I had a side view of it. Suddenly, it took a slow turn towards the east. As it did, it's underside became illuminated by the bright moon. It was clearly shaped like a delta wing (I can't draw very well, so I am having a friend illustrate it - hope to have it done soon) with 8 rectangular ports on its underside which had a cyan colored luminescent glow to them (engine ports?) The object finished its turn so that I now had a rear view of it, and then took off away from me so quickly that within 1/2 second it had become a pinpoint and then disappeared.
In all, the object traveled about 20 degrees of sky in 4 or 5 seconds (while I had the thin side view). I thought I was dreaming to be honest. But I was wide awake, sober (I do not use any type of drug including alcohol) and it was real. Only after much soul searching that I decided to report this. I am not one who believes in ET's and such nonsense, but this was real, and it has shaken my non-belief a little. Thanks for your time. If nothing else, just writing this makes me feel a little less uneasy about what I saw.
Additional Information:
Hi Brian,
I guess I should have included location information so here it is. The location is Edmonton, Alberta - specifically on the edge of the river valley at Saskatchewan Drive and (removed)th Street. The object appeared in an east-north-east direction in the sky and ended up due east when it disappeared.
Thanks for your time Brian.

Burnaby Mountain Burnaby, B.C. White Strobing Light
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 26, 2006 Time: 10:00 p.m.
Hi Brian. Another strange object flying east, right at this moment, 22;15 disappearing over Burke Mountain. I had my camera aimed over Grouse and Seymour just to see if I could pick up any thing unusual. Night vision on and set at wide angle.
22:00 approximately noticed white strobe just over Burnaby Mountain appeared to be stationary and I knew there are no towers with white strobes over there. I glanced over there but could not see the strobe with the naked eye. Checked with binoculars and could just make it out, zoomed in with camera and found it to be two white lights which appeared similar in spacing to car headlights, I said strobing but it was more like pulsing and not as bright as a strobe, more like headlights being turned on and off. One thing unusual was the lights did not smear like you get at night with moving aircraft. Also found the lights to be moving very slowly east, much to slow to be an aircraft, could have been a chopper but did look like one. Estimated speed about 5 to 10 miles an hour.
At it's closest point to me which would be beside Heritage Mountain in Port Moody I could see a light colored body behind the lights but not make out any definite shape, when the light dimmed I could still see a dim glow from them. I checked with my big binoculars but could only see the lights and only when at their brightest. Object last seen over Burke Mountain in Coquitlam still headed east. When first seen it was just over Burnaby Mountain at approximately 1500 feet and must have been slowly climbing as it appeared to go over Burke Mountain and not around it. So probably up to 5000 feet when last seen.
Than you to the witness for the report.

Coquitlam, British Columbia Three Bright Lights
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 26, 2006 Time: 11:40 p.m.
Message: Call me crazy. I saw some weird lights in the sky (over Coquitlam) just now at 11:40 pm. There were three bright lights. I stopped looking. Came back to look again. One very bright light (part red and part white) remained. Unlike any light I have seen in the sky. The light hovered, brightly over the tree-line for a few minutes. Then it became a small red light and moved quickly away.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

City of Edmonton, Alberta Boomerang Shaped UFOs
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 26, 2006 Time: 10:45 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1? or 7-8 Shape of objects: Boomerang-shaped
Full Description of event/sighting: My 13-year old son and I were sitting at our backyard firepit talking and looking up at the stars from our lawn chairs in the dark. Suddenly, a formation of 7 or 8 boomerang or arrowhead shaped objects appeared, flying north to south from above our garage roof. The appearance was so striking and strange that each of us instinctively jumped out of our chair and actually stumbled over one another to get a longer look before they disappeared over our house and into the distance. They disappeared incredibly fast despite their altitude, we just looked at each other and said "did you see that"? They were brightly lit in a way I would describe as similar to a child's glow-stick (white). They appeared to be flying in synch with one another in a V or L shaped formation.
Strangely, they appeared to be part of, or lights on, a larger but somehow transparent object. It appeared to be flying an altitude approximately that of a helicopter, lower than a commuter plane. There was no sound. I am considerably versed in existing and historical military aircraft, and this one has me baffled. It is definitely a "UFO" sighting in my books.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Three Lights In An Equilateral Triangle Formation
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 26, 2006 Time: Approx: 11:30 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Triangular
Full Description of event/sighting: I'm not sure if this is anything, or not. I was in downtown Saskatoon, at the foot of the Broadway Bridge, following a bridge party and fireworks display in celebration of the city's centennial (the city had shut down one of our major river crossings for an evening street celebration). The streets were pretty much vacant by about 11:30 p.m., except for a few clean-up crews and security personnel. Something in the sky caught my attention out of the corner of my eye. I looked up, roughly northward well over the tops of the high downtown buildings, just in time to see what appeared to be three lights in an equilateral triangle formation fade into the darkness. I blinked a couple of times to see if there was something really there or I might have been imagining it. But that was it, three lights fading into the night sky over the city. Nothing else. The whole event lasted maybe a second or two. I looked around to see if anyone else was looking at the sky, but everyone was focused on their own task or the activity on the bridge.
My eyes could have been playing tricks on me. I didn't see enough to know if I really saw anything. I was pretty tired after a long day, but I had not been drinking or taking any other mind altering substances. However, just in case anyone else thinks they might have seen something that night, I thought it might be useful to have this report on file.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Aylmer, Quebec Object Broke Formation
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 28, 2006 Time: 8:45 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 3 Shape of objects: Stars/Orbs?
Full Description of event/sighting: Objects appeared very bright yellow/orange stars in the lower north sky in a line parallel to the horizon. Objects appeared to come closer in this horizontal formation and then proceeded to move upwards, at this point one of the three objects moved out of the horizontal formation. It appeared as if one of the objects (the one which broke formation) became dim and then became bright over a period of thirty seconds. The objects disappeared as there location approached the little dipper. We tracked the objects for approximately 5 minutes. I attempted to video tape the episode however I do not think that there was enough contrast to see anything. Please provide us with any information that you can provide regarding this! Thanks in Advance!

Pontiac to Aylmer, Quebec 3 Bright Orange Lights
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 28, 2006 Time: Approx: 8:40 p.m.
Message: At about 8:40 pm last night I was leaving home in the Pontiac Quebec for a Softball game on Roy Street in Aylmer, as I was coming closer to Aylmer on the 148 I saw these 3 bright orange lights. When I turned on Front street I stopped my car to look at these light and wondering what they were. I noticed a couple of kids looking up in the sky when I got to the ball field on Roy Street. I told a couple of my friends what I had saw and that's when I learned that some sightings were seen before, and it was published in the Aylmer Bulletin. I couldn't of known that cause I don't get the Aylmer Bulletin. I also called my husband in the Pontiac and asked him if he could see those lights but he couldn't cause they were to low.
I'm sure if you asked around in the Aylmer area more people will confirm this sighting.

Aylmer, Quebec Witnesses Observe Three Balls Of Light Stationary
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 28, 2006 Time: Approx: 8:40 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 3 Shape of objects: Balls of light.
Full Description of event/sighting: On the evening of August 28, 2006 at approximately 8:40 p.m. my wife and I were finishing a walk with our dogs when, as we turned onto our street facing west, we saw three balls of light stationary in the sky over west Ottawa/Gatineau. It was difficult to estimate distance, but the objects were west/south-west of our location in Aylmer.
The balls of light were a reddish orange colour, many times brighter than any star, of which there were a number in the sky to compare. I initially thought the objects were helicopters, although, as noted, they were completely motionless for several minutes and there was no discernable noise coming from them (given the brightness of the lights, I would expect that, if they were helicopters, they would be almost directly overhead). A plane flew beneath the objects indicating again, for comparative purposes, that these did not resemble in any way normal aircraft flying at night. The balls were in a triangle formation, with two objects horizontal to each other and fairly close together, and the third higher and between the others.
As we approached our house, my wife went inside to get the camera. I turned my attention to something else for a minute and when my wife had returned with the camera and I had refocused on the objects, we noted that one had disappeared. Looking carefully, I could faintly see it moving to the south, although it had diminished in its intensity. Several moments later, the ball that had been beside it also began moving to the south, following the path of the first. It also lost its intensity almost immediately. Then the third object moved in the same direction, following the track of the first two and also becoming more faint. The time interval between the movements of the objects was approx. 15 to 20 seconds.
Although I am generally not a believer, nor overly interested, in UFO theories or phenomenon, I cannot conclude that the objects were aircraft in the conventional sense. Unless the event was some type of planetary or heavenly phenomenon, I could not provide any other idea of what may have happened. In the rush to take a photo, the objects did not show up clearly, although they resemble the objects caught by camera and posted in another report on this site.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

We were on a road leading to Stewart Lake which is about 5km out of town when I really got the creeps, while she was talking out loud with her head stuck out of the truck while I was driving. She was saying that it seemed to be getting closer, and that’s when I really put the pedal to the metal and rushed to get back as close to town before hitting the glow of the lights of the town. I got brave enough to slow down and that’s when I asked my friend to just shoot with the camera, to see if anything might come through. That’s the only one of about 5 or 6 shots that she took that showed anything but black. I don’t know what it is but that’s what I saw when I uploaded them. My friend was pretty scared too. I don’t usually find myself almost in a near panic like I was then when I’m out spotting the sky, but I sure didn’t like the feeling that that one gave me that night.
Anyhow, sometimes I sure would love to have more tools than just my eyeglasses and camera and now my truck to help me try and see what’s moving up there but then again sometimes I don’t. Still love visiting your site, by the way.
Thank you to the witness for sending the report.

Richmondhill, Ontario A Aqua Colored Glowing Object
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 12, 2006 Time: 10:00 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Glowing dot.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was sitting outside my apartment looking at the stars. When in an instant I saw an almost aqua colored glowing object shoot across the sky. It was similar to a shooting star except the color. I'm not really into UFOs but I came to this site to see if there had been similar sightings. So I thought I'd leave this posted incase there is someone else who has experienced the same thing.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Manitoba Witness Still Having Continuing Experiences & Problems
Posted: January 19, 2008
HBCC UFO Research Note: I have been talking to this fellow for sometime and this report below is just another in a long line of unusual things that has happened to this person.
Date: August 26/27, 2006 Time: After 1:45 am - before 6:00 am
It has to do with strange occurrence last weekend at my lake. Because of where it happened, I am sending this to you. I will try to make this make sense as it's confusing for me. I was out at the lake just this past weekend. What took place that night has taken a few days of deciding on whether I should write this to you or not.
It was Saturday night/Sunday morning and I have no idea what time of night it was (after 1:45 am..before 6 am), but I was awoken to light and thoughts of "what is all this commotion?" running through my head.
This is strange, but there was all kinds of activity going on around me, not noisy, but shuffling and movement. I found it very strange because before my mind could get a grasp on what was going on I fell asleep again. That itself is strange because of the wildlife out at the lake. If there is something big around, its best not to sleep until it is gone, just to be safe. It's a sort of defensive mode I go into. I fully wake up immediately and aware of my surroundings and all the sounds going on around me.
It wasn't a dream because I did open my eyes for a brief moment. I saw figures around me and there was others in the room with me and there was light, but it was all blurry. There was no moon and that would have been the only source of light out there that night and certainly no street lights or any other kind of electric lights, not to mention cars, besides the light was not out side. It was inside, in the same area as I was in. But before I could get focused on what was going on I was out again almost instantly. I woke up the next morning and found I had a chipped front tooth. There was no way for me to cause that myself by teeth grinding. Something hit my front top tooth on the inside or something chipped it. It was the first thing I noticed when I woke up later that morning. What I also noticed was my door was still locked, Brian.
I hope you don't think I am weird, but there is no one else to tell. Know one to believe me. But I think there was others in there with me (you know, there are not many folk for miles). My gut says it's best to tell someone and after deliberating over it for 3 days and sitting here till 3:30 am trying to write this to you, well here you go. Thanks for listening and I am off to the lake again on Friday. Maybe for 2 weeks, depends on what happens. I won't lie and I am pretty nervous about it. I hope nothing else happens. Take care Brian.
Thank you to the person for the report.

Galerie d'Aylmer, Quebec Three Round Orange Lights (Thai Lanterns)
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 28, 2006 Time: 8:40 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 30 Number of objects: 3 Shape of objects: 3 Round orange dots/balls in the sky.
Full Description of event/sighting: I came out of the Aylmer Mall at around 8:40 pm when I noticed everyone in the parking lot staring up into the sky. I thought someone might be on the roof of the mall or something but then I looked up and saw the 3 lights. Everyone stood around staring asking the same question: What is that? It was quite phenomenal. I don't know if it was some kind of UFO sighting but to the people I tell I just ask them to provide me with some kind of other logical answer. One of them faded out, possibly behind the clouds but then returned and within a few moments they were all gone. I drove around the city and noticed alot of people still looking up into the sky, probably still confused at what they saw. It was definitely unlike anything I've seen before.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Aylmer, Quebec More Witnesses To Orange Lights (Thai Lanterns)
Posted: January 19, 2008
HBCC UFO Research Note: Numerous sighting reports have come in for August 28, 2006. People have reported seeing three orange lights in the sky. I did some phoning around and found information that what folks were viewing were Thai Lanterns. Seems this has been happening alot since March of 2006 as I have received myself a large number of reports. The people responsible for letting the Thai Lanterns loose did come forward and a number of the media have ran articles in newspapers and on TV, actually showing how this was done.
Date: August 28, 2006 Time: Approx: 8:40 p.m.
Message: It was Monday night August 28th, 2006 and the phone rang around 8:40 p.m. at home, only to have my In-laws telling my husband there were three strange objects flying outside over the house. Sure enough the whole family went out to see three orange bright objects moving around. First in a triangle then in a line then one slowly dropped down and dimmed it's light only to join the other two again with a bright orange light. It was a real show. We are located close to highway 148 in Aylmer, Quebec.
We finally decided to take a picture. Not sure if this will turn out but it would be proof that there were really three foreign objects flying outside my door.
Thank you to the witness for their report.

Mount Currie, B.C. Strange Light Drops Down Over The Mountain
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 2006 (?) Time: Approx: 1:00 a.m.
Hi, I've written you before regarding sightings in Vancouver, BC. I've moved up into the mountains, my home town of Mount Currie, BC - 3 hours from Vancouver. I've been avidly watching the sky as I did in Vancouver, and have seen the usual satellites, and such. The other night at around 1:00am, my sister and I were walking toward Mount Currie mountain which is southwest of where my house is, we were leaving the house and got to the road when we spotted a large light moving downward. At first, we thought it was a police helicopter as it was flashing from blue to red to white. But we stood and watched it for about 10 minutes, it appeared to be almost landing on the top of the mountain, but then it just stopped and hovered for about 2 minutes before descending again.
We got the eeriest feeling in those 2 minutes, it was almost as if we could feel ourselves being watched. Then it continued down slowly until the light went out. Either it landed or went behind the mountain. Have you had any other reports of this? We were headed to a wedding dance, and apparently none of the other people outside saw it because of the street lights above the gym. There is alot of activity out this way and I've heard several accounts from community members that there have been abductions and starchild miscarriages. I've been taken a couple of times since I moved home, last summer. But now it just seems routine, they just move the locator around. Which is a little ball like bony thing, that I've felt around my body at different times - it's currently in the back of my neck, has moved just recently from the back of my left thigh. So, I'll keep my eye on the sky, and keep you posted. Thanks!
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Crowsnest Pass, Alberta A Very Bright Yellowish/White Object
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 29, 2006 Time: 12:00 - 12:10 a.m.
Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Round
Full Description of event/sighting: I went outside to see if the sky was clear enough to do some star gazing and looked up over to the West and there was a really bright object moving at about the speed of a commercial jet.
The object was yellowish white in color, about the size of a single, bigger then any other star out and looked as if it was a headlight shining directly at me. It faded out over a period of about 8 seconds and was no longer in sight.
Another occasion was very similar. It was last year, me and a few family member where sitting at the fire pit and this bright blue object similar in appearance to the one recently just appeared and then seemed like it was shinning directly at us for a only about 10 seconds. Then it looked as if it was getting further away until it disappeared.

Houston, British Columbia Craft Completely Lit Up
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 22, 2006 Time: Approx: 10:20
I spoke to a man in the Houston Shopping Center who reported to me that he and his wife watched an object move slowly and on a direct flight path across most of the night sky. After traveling approximately 3/4 the way across the sky the object made a sharp turn which the witness believed was straight up and finally disappeared. He said the entire craft was all lit up. The object was at a good distance away and he was not able to observe any detail other than it making a strange turn and being fully lit.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Springbank Airport, Calgary Alberta - Pilot Sighting
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 26, 2006 Time: 9:05 p.m.
Description: As I taxied my aircraft a Cessna 172 to the hold line of runway 25 at the Springbank airport, I was cleared for take-off to remain in the circuit (a traffic pattern resembling a race track around an active runway for the purposes of training, and maneuvering aircraft in and out of an airport). I observed my intended flight path to note an object that originally resembled an Airship, which from my perspective would have been over or very near the town of Cochrane. The object was "egg" shaped, and appeared to be dark grey or black in colour, however most of this was as a result of being against the background of the sunset. I inquired with the Tower Controller if there was indeed an aircraft working over Cochrane, or in that direction to which I was advised "no".
I then observed the object appear to change to a circular shape, and rapidly back to it's original "egg" shape. I reported this to the Tower Controller and remained in my position at the end of Runway 25.
At this time I observed the object move easterly and stop in a very defined motion with no sign of acceleration or deceleration. The object again altered shape, and moved upwards slowly but again with very defined motion. My report continued to Air Traffic Control and it was advised to me that there was nothing on Radar. Another Cessna 172 aircraft transiting the Control Zone advised that the same object (or one of similar description) was observed over the Control Tower approximately 5-10 minutes prior with "No Lights, No Sound".
My Commercial Flight Instructor was in a Piper Arrow behind my aircraft in cue for take-off and observed this object and copied all of our radio transmissions. I was still cleared for Take-off into the circuit, and advised that once at circuit altitude (1000 feet above ground level) I would give further information. At this time the object moved west, stopped, and continued east bound, when it disappeared. No further visual contact was made with the object that I saw, to the best of my knowledge.

Lake Huron, Ontario Flashing Star-Like Object
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 31, 2006 Time: When the sun went down (unknown time) to 11:35. It's still there.
Number of witnesses: 3 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Couldn't tell, it's the size of a star.
Full Description of event/sighting: I work at a restaurant, and as I was taking the garbage out (It was dark) I looked towards the beach sky. There was a single star, but it flashed green, blue, whiteish yellow, and red very quickly. The colors mixed as they flashed, like it was multiple lights going off at the same time.
I was picked up by my dad, and after I told him about it, he looked and said: "That's really weird, Never seen anything like that, could be a UFO. Look it up on the internet, to see any reports like that."
I did, and found this sight. Before I typed this (It's still present as I type this, I went on MSN and told several friends. They all looked and described what I saw as well.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Caledon, Ontario Object Stops - Moved Slowly Up And Down
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 31, 2006 Time: Between 11:00pm -11:45pm
Hi Brian, Late night I went out to my deck for a smoke and I noticed something quickly moving down in the NE sky, at first I thought it was a plane, but when it stopped and then started to moved slowly up and down, back and forth I new what it wasn't. I watched it for about 45 min. as it flashed in the far sky.I did take pictures but it was to far away to really make anything of it, although with all the stars that were out I only managed to get it on film. The location would have been North of Toronto and from where I live in Caledon, it was NE. I hope someone else saw it! Take Care Brian.
I saw this last night Aug 31st between 11:00pm @ 11:45pm, I watched for about 45 min. Plus I also noticed when I was taking pictures that the awed time it appeared to flash a little brighter I'll send you two photo's see if you can make anything of them. Thanks again.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Above Kootenay Lake Moving Towards Nelson, B.C. Object Made U Turn
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 2006 Time: 8:00 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Ball
Full Description of event/sighting: I went to buy some snacks from the Taghum store just down the road and noticed a few bright stars and on my way back from the store I looked at one of the stars which appeared to be hovering about 3 km above the lake. I saw that it began to move and made a giant u turn across the sky and slowly floated towards Nelson. I ran home in excitement and told my dad to come watch it float towards the town. We both noticed it began to blink orange and green we watched as it slowly drifted across the sky. The part that amazes me is it wasn't moving and while watching it, it suddenly decided to move forward and come back like a u turn and just kept drifting with flashing orange and green lights weird.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Nelson, British Columbia An Oval Shaped Object
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 2006 Time: 11:00 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 1 Shape of objects: Oval
Full Description of event/sighting: I was biking home one night at about 11:00 and about 2 km from my house. I was looking over at the mountains across Kootenay Lake and noticed an oval shaped object that glowed a pinkish purple color. I stopped biking and watched, it wasn't moving and all of a sudden it went down, up, down, up and really fast. Then slowly it went down, I was exited but didn't think to much of it because I had been biking for about 45 minutes. I'm just a 15 year old kid who is interested in UFOs and that kind of stuff and I am always looking up at the sky on random nights and random times to see all kinds of strange lights and stuff.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Caledon, Ontario Numerous Photos Taken Of A UFO Sighting
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 2, 2006 Time: Between 7:40pm - 9:45pm
Message: August 2, 2006 my wife and I went for a drive. We were going up to the badlands in Caledon to take pictures of the moon. We arrived at about 7:40pm. It was still light but the moon was very bright. So we picked a clear view and set up the tripod. I started to take pictures and I got some very good shots. We stayed until 9:45pm and when we were leaving to go back to the van, in which my wife went first. All of a sudden all kinds of commotion in the trees and bushes. It was dark and I could not see. Then I got really spooked, and I don't spook easily. I went to the van, threw the camera and tripod at my wife. Closed the windows locked the doors and got out of dodge. I had to stop at shoppers drug, while my wife was in the store I downloaded the pictures to a AVR. I was scanning through and low and behold I had captured a UFO. I said that must be why I got spooked, it was probably them. I said can't wait to see these on the 53" TV. I scanned through 14 pictures of the UFO. One just starting to break the atmosphere, two fully engulfed in the atmosphere. Three cooling down. Four it's sitting still, five it's leaving going back to space. So I seem to have proof that we are being visited by crafts from space and aliens. I have not sent any pictures because it's big. A note to Brian I'm glad someone else saw it.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Invermere, British Columbia I Heard And Felt An Underground Explosion
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 4, 2006 Time: Late evening
Interesting , I have not seen anything in the sky, but late in the evening of August 4th I heard and felt an underground explosion. It seemed to be fairly localized to my neighborhood. It freaked me out, but nothing came of it. No alarms, no fire, no smoke. To me, it felt and sounded like it was deep in the ground. It had a very muffled sound to it.
Just a thought. What if a UFO did crash and their buddies are looking for them ?
Thank you to the person for the information on what he felt and heard. Maybe there was a connection to all the sightings from Invermere and Castlegar B.C.
