Vernon, British Columbia Strange Noises & Dogs Franticly Barking
Posted: January 14, 2008
HBCC UFO Research Note: I just wanted to point out that alot of UFO sightings have come from Vernon, B.C. and the surrounding area.
Date: September 9, 2005 Time: Between 12:00 am and 1:00 am
Hi Brian, I wanted to report an unidentifiable noise that was over Vernon between those hours. I had been sitting up winding down after work and my porch door was open to the night noises. The noises were loud and different as I listened to dogs franticly barking, the wind was gusty and warm coming from a different direction for Vernon and I heard birds franticly calling. I also heard this beep, beep, beep at a steady high pitch. The noise was coming from above. I could only relate the noise to a metal on metal pitch beeping in the pulse of a vehicle backing up.
So what I want to report is the intensity of the sound and the response of the animals around the neighborhood. I was unable for some reason to go out on the balcony to investigate the noise, I can't explain that either. The noises suddenly stopped and I fell asleep just as suddenly. I never fall asleep that fast. It was a strange night.
Thank you to the person for the report.

North York, Ontario A Large Half Circle Object
Posted: January 13, 2008
Date: September 9, 2005 Time: 0130 hours Number of witnesses: 3 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Half circle seemed to be on fire.
Full Description of event/sighting: On that night, I had gone out to my balcony for a cigarette when I noticed a large half circle object on the west side of Toronto (given I live on the eleventh floor, have a good view) and was moving pretty fast. I called my friend and my sister out to take a look. My friend came out and in 3 minutes, the object was slowly fading in the distance. By the time my sister had come out (8 minutes later) the object was completely gone. I explained what I had seen and to shock, she told me that her and her friend have been seeing it almost every night and it would come from the east and travel west pretty high. Then will disappear completely.
At first sight I thought it was the moon, but given the speed it was moving at, there was no way it could be although when I was looking around, I couldn't even see the moon on a clear night. The object was roughly a half circle, color: fire red, at one point it looked as if directly above the Pearson Airport.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

North Of Alliston, Ontario Light Zig Zags Across The Sky
Posted: January 13, 2008
Date: September 13, 2005 Time: Approx: 9:15 p.m.
Not sure if this was a sighting or not. We were outside last night (Sept 13, 2005) at about 9:15 pm. There was a bright light that travelled from the North West sky to the South East sky. At first we figured it must have been a plane, but there were no traditional flashing lights that you normally see on a plane. The other thought was that it was a satellite, but it was much brighter than any I have seen before, plus I've only seen them travel North - South or East - West. Also the light when traveling seemed to have a slight zig zag to it. I would say it took about a minute to travel from when we first spotted it in the NW sky to it disappearing in the SE sky. When it finally disappeared, it turned to an orange color, then was gone.
Thank you to the eyewitness for the report.

Canadian Forces Base Comox, B.C. Unknown Object Observed

Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Circular or ovalish.
UFO or Orb over Canadian Forces Base Comox September 11/2005
At approximately 5:30 PM, I was observing some cloud manipulations in the sky over the military base. My eyes wandered over to a hole which was forming in a set of clouds and noticed a small white-ish object, or the light made it appear white. It certainly looked brighter than the surrounding clouds which themselves were rippled with electromagnetic waves.
At first I figured it was a plane, but it wasn't long before I realized it was spherical in nature and had no wings. It came right out of a hole in the cloud. I quickly grabbed my camera which I had nearby and tried to bring the object into my lens field..but I couldn't see it through the lens. So I pointed the camera in the direction of where I had seen the object and snapped a photo anyway, hoping to catch it.
I then lowered the camera back down and looked for the object with the naked eye but it was no longer visible to me. This entire event unfolded in the span of about 15 seconds. The object had vanished although I didn't see it leave.
I uploaded the photo and spent about a half hour or so attempting to find the object on my computer. I was almost ready to give up and toss the photo into the recycle bin. It's a good thing I didn't because I managed to spot the orb. It was so far away it appeared as a tiny dot in the photo.
I reversed the image and tried solarizing it. The object was easier to make out after that but still not the best so I saturated the contrast a bit and zoomed in...so it isn't very clear, yet you can still make out an unmistakable object. I could see that the object was on the earth-side of the clouds, and would have to be behind the clouds to be a star, moon, satellite, or a planet of any kind.
This seems to me, a lot like the one which was caught on video tape in Port Alberni and ran on the news a few weeks ago just down island from me. It has been suggested that these UFO's or Orbs appear in areas where the woodpecker or HARRP grid are being tuned-up. Apparently these objects sometimes appear at locations of grid intersect. Interestingly, there was a lot of electroscalar magnetic activity going on overhead at the time.
The Comox Valley area is seeing a literal epidemic of chemtrail spraying, magnetic waves and odd shaped clouds. Sometimes I can sit and watch them fiddle and move the clouds around before my very eyes.
I have the photo if you'd like me to send it to you!
Thank you to the witness for the report.
Additional Information:
The object came out of a hole in the clouds, from what appeared to be the east, and it moved toward the west a short distance before slightly slowing down and turning a little bit to the left (northerly). From my vantage point, the object decided to go toward the cloud it was next to. In other words, as soon as it came out of the hole, it went north a bit. That's when I scrambled for my camera which was nearby. I had to stop looking at the object to get the camera. What happened in those few seconds, I don't know for sure, but judging from where it first came out of the hole to where it was located after viewing the image on the computer, it had not gone far during the time I was getting the camera and positioning it to get the shot. I would say it had become almost stationary for a few seconds. The movement seemed fairly straight and normal at first. The object was moving forward, towards my direction, but then slowed and I reiterate that it seemed to saunter a little bit northerly. It wasn't the movement of a plane at all. It was the sudden turn which got my attention in the first place. Something clicked in my mind and I knew it was not a plane.
I couldn't see it when I tried to find it with the camera. So I just pointed the camera in the direction I had seen it and snapped a photo in hopes of inadvertently catching the image. The object appeared almost directly over the military runway which is near the oceans' edge and there was no obvious sound. There were no other aircraft flying in the area that I could hear. I am a very well-tuned aircraft observer due to having lived near the base for 18 years. I can identify planes and jets just by their sound, without even seeing them. There was no sound coming from this object. No sound!
I do not recall there having been much wind, but I could be wrong about that. I don't think it could have been very windy, because I usually take notice of that.
Residual sunlight may have been reflecting off the front of the object because it was late in the afternoon and the sun would have been west of the object at the time. It did appear to have a brightness about it that stood out from the lightness of the clouds. It contrasted very clearly with the naked eye, but the actual photo doesn't do it justice. I didn't see any flashing at all.
I can say that the object did take on an increased brightness after it made its full appearance. It was as if someone had shone some sunlight at it. It could have been the sun shining on it or the increased brightness could also have come from the object itself. I simply can't be sure about that. I can't even be sure if the sun was behind the mountains or not as it would be behind my house and beyond the trees which are all around me. It was broad daylight though.
I don't know of any other witnesses. This is not to say there aren't any others who saw it. There could be. My daughter was just inside the house when it happened. It happened and was over so fast that I was too wrapped up in getting the photo for fear of missing it to have been able to summon my daughter to witness it with me. If I would have taken those precious seconds out to summon her, I would have missed getting the photo. It was gone within seconds. I just knew I had to get a photo. My daughter helped me search the image for the object and was surprised to see it was real.
I would say that the time that lapsed from the moment I saw it come out of the hole in the clouds and the time I turned around to get my camera on the chair was about ten seconds. It took another 10 seconds (maybe) to search again for it so I could take a photo. I immediately realized I couldn't see it and was wasting time looking for it because it was so hard to see in the first place. Rather than waste precious time looking for it again, I decided to just hold the camera up, pointing in the direction I had seen it, and snap the photo. I wasn't hopeful that I had captured anything.
After I snapped the photo I tried to search for it and couldn't find the object again. It was either inside the cloud or gone. I don't know which. There was no activity in the way of planes before or after I saw the object. In fact, it was a relatively slow day for planes.
I saw another objects in the picture to the right of the main object. You can see it if you really strain to look at the original shot. In fact, it almost looks as if there are multiple smaller similarly shaped objects that seem to form an arc shape to the upper right, not far from the main object.
You really have to play with the image to see them. I hope you can see the others in there. I focus on the main one because it was the only thing I saw with my eye. The other smaller ones only show up in the photo and were not readily obvious to me when I was seeing the primary object.
Thank you to the witness for their report.

A tube of light reveals remarkable details of color on close-up examination. The camera's macro optics measure the distance of the event and position it in the same focal range as the grass below. If it were closer to the lens the grass would be completely blurred out of focus. Further away and the shrubs in the background would obscure the passage of light. The signal is robust and contiguous, registering in front of the bushes about 4-5 feet above the ground. A multi-spectrum contrail 6 inches in length extruding from a disc-shaped object travelling at 20 mph (the image was recorded in 1/60 second).

Sechelt, British Columbia Strange Lights
Posted: January 13, 2008
Date: September 15, 2005 Time: 2:30 a.m.
Thursday, the 15th of September, at approximately 2:30 am, from the parking lot at the North side of the hospital in Sechelt, I viewed a light that looked rather strange in the night sky. I called a nurse out to look at it and she described it exactly like I saw it.
The total time the object was observed in the same location was approximately 35 minutes before clouds moved in to obscure it. Two of us witnessed the object, or whatever. The lights strobed between red, yellow, white, green and on rare moments, blue. The lights were never in the same "rotation" which suggests either communication like semaphore or spinning on the object.
Elevation appeared to be very high, making the object very large. From the hospital North parking lot the object was at +-15 degrees in the North East. It appeared to be far enough away to be at a very high elevation, making it exceptionally large to be viewed from my location.
Like I said, two of us watched this light, I until clouds obscured it. Total time is approximately 35 minutes. The object or whatever it was stayed in the same location all this time. At times, I thought I saw smaller objects coming into it and also leaving it at great speed but could not confirm this. Possibly, I just wanted to think that. I don't know. The small objects were so fast I could have imagined them.
There was no way I could see the object in the viewfinder of my camera, even when I moved out of he parking lot lights, so I snapped three pictures in the general direction. One photo caught it, just barely. Seer what you think. It's off to the far right, the first is the original, the second is a gamma enhanced and the third is a close-up of the enhanced.
Not sure what to make of this. It did not move, the lights "strobed" and it looked big and far away. Definitely not a star as the nurse vouched that it was elongated and looked like a large object perpendicular to the ground, and she saw all the colours of light except the blue.
Original looks very dark as I could not see the object through the viewfinder. I aimed in the approximate direction to get he one photo I got, and thankful for it.
Best regards.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Original looks very dark as I could not see the object through the viewfinder. I aimed in the approximate direction to get he one photo I got, and thankful for it.
Best regards.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Manitoulin Island, Ontario A White Light Traveling Across The Sky
Posted: January 13, 2008
Date: September 15, 2005 Time: Between 8:30 and 9:00 p.m.
Hello there, this is what happened and when. On Thursday September the 15th, I and a friend were sitting around a small fire in my back yard in the west end of the Manitoulin Island in Ontario. The time was between 8:30 and 9:00 pm and I happened to look up and saw a white light going across the sky from west to east and it was moving faster than a normal plane or jet. There were no flashing lights on it anywhere. We observed a jet going over about ten minutes and it was only going about half the speed of the object that we had seen earlier, and all the flashing lights were visible on it. There were only a few stars out at the time so I don't think it could of been a satellite. I have never seen any other light like that go across in that direction or at that speed before.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Between Langford & Victoria, B.C. Object Follows Aircraft
Posted: January 13, 2008
Date: September 22, 2005 Time: 2:30 a.m.
Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Orb
Full Description of event/sighting: I was laying in bed looking at the stars out of the sliding door when I saw an airplane come from behind the trees, and then I noticed a white orb following it. I immediately woke my husband. The plane had typical flashing lights. The orb did not flash and was larger and much brighter than the airplane. Twice it seemed to go a slightly faster than the plane, but seemed to keep pretty much the same distance between the plane and itself. (Much like when you are following a friend on the road because they know the destination location and you don't). We watched it follow the plane until it was out of sight. We look at the sky often as we are astronomy buffs. This was not a weather balloon or a second airplane.
Additional Information:
Hello Brian,
Weather: Clear, no clouds that we could see. No rain, no fog. Estimate of temperature for 2:30 AM was about 10 degrees Celsius. We did step out onto the balcony to get a better view of the object and felt no wind. Just a calm night.
Altitude of airplane: Really hard to say as it was not flying directly over our house. Looked like a normal altitude where we see most planes flying. Sorry but can't answer that question any more honestly than that.
Altitude of object following airplane: Same altitude as plane. The object was about the width of 3-4 baby finger widths behind the airplane.
Where were the airplane and object located? We are located by Goldstream Provincial Park which is about 10 KM Northwest of the city of Victoria. We were looking in the direction of Victoria. We were looking to the South. There is a high tower with a red light on it on the top of a small mountain and it was over this mountain that we saw the object and the airplane. I would guess about 2 baby finger widths above the horizon. I would say that the Airplane and the object were flying in a West to East direction.
Was the object trying to keep pace with the object? Yes, That was our feeling. It seemed to want to keep the same distance between itself and the Airplane.
Describe the area where the sighting took place, airport etc: The closest airport would be the Victoria International Airport which is located near the small city of Sidney BC at the end of the Saanich Peninsula about a 30 minute drive North from Victoria. The plane was not flying towards that airport. We think it was flying towards the United States. Perhaps on its way to Tacoma International Airport (near Seattle, Washington State). The land around the sighting would be partly populated and partly forest. There is a large naval base (Department of National Defence) situated next to the city of Victoria (in Esquimalt). Comox Air and Naval base is a long way from here. We are located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island.
Trail or tail following the object? No just a very bright sphere or orb. The light was white.
Any sound? We stepped out onto the balcony but heard no sound.
We thought that this was indeed an unusual sight and I wish we had more information for you. If anyone else has reported seeing this in our area could you let us know? If you have more questions please feel free to email.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Toronto, Ontario Large Black Craft (UFO)
Posted: January 13, 2008
September 11, 2005 Time: 10:45 p.m.
On Sunday September 11, 2005 and probably at around 10:45 pm I saw a large black craft in the sky. I only noticed because I was looking at some stars. It would have been really difficult to see this thing otherwise. No noticeable noise or lights on the object. blended in with the sky very well.
I was at Bloor/Dufferin on the 14th floor of my east facing apartment. I saw this black object move in an eastwardly direction and then at around Yonge Street or so, it appeared to turn and head towards downtown Toronto, where I lost track of it.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Vernon, British Columbia An Orange-Pink Sphere
Posted: January 13, 2008
Date: September 19, 2005 Time: 11:00 p.m.
Night sky, cloudy, breezy.
Hi Brian, Last night I saw two "shooting star's" enter the northwest sky. One star was bright white with a silver trail. It is the one I saw about an hour later that I want to report. The clouds were low to midrange last night and the full moon was behind me enhancing the clouds in the west sky.
Under the low western cloud cover, heading into the west, I saw appear with the trail already behind a orange-pink sphere fully intact with an aura of yellow. This was surrounded with the white light leading to the trail. There was no smoke trail.
The distance from me was with in twenty kilometers, the color of the sphere was like Venus is when it sets, glowing pinks and oranges, and it's size was just a little bigger than Venus has been in the night sky. It's trail was yellow and white. The sphere was whole and intact at the front.
It then disappeared. It's angle of descent was about twenty degrees above the mountains and it was moving toward the ground. It's direction was indirectly toward Kamloops. I have been able to coincide some sightings of shooting stars to the orbs that fly over so I stayed outside last night to watch if any orbs appeared but there was nothing more after the colorful shooting star.
Thank you to the eyewitness for their report.

Vancouver, B.C. (Setting Behind Seymour Mountain) Multi Colored Star?
Posted: January 13, 2008
Date: September 23, 2005 Time: Approx: 4:00 a.m.
Woke up this morning about 4:00 a.m. and noticed the sky was really clear, so decided to set the camera up and leave it running on time lapse. I aimed it to catch that multi coloured star? that moves north over Vancouver and then sets behind Seymour Mountain. It set just as the sky was starting to get a little light but I noticed just before it disappeared that it appeared to come to a halt four times, just for a minute or two each time, at normal speed I probably would not have even noticed but on time lapse it was quite noticeable.
Thank you to the eyewitness for their report.

North Vancouver, British Columbia Two Globes (UFO)
Posted: January 13, 2008
Date: September 23, 2005 Time: 7:43 a.m.
07:43 ++ Sept. 23 + Was playing the tape back, just to see if anything else showed up. Camera was aimed at the sky between Seymour and Grouse Mtn. in North Vancouver. With the tops of the mtns. showing at the bottom of the screen. Several times I saw blips and upon checking found them to be either birds or small planes. At 7:43 I saw a bright flash and assumed it was probably a Jet headed your way (North) I backed up the tape to check and when I zoomed in saw what appeared to be two globes, the lead one appeared to be slightly oblong and attached to the rear one by a narrow black strip, like a belt. Sticking out from the near the belt area were what looked sort of like Mickey Mouse ears The upper two appeared to be quite solid, while there appeared to be two more sticking out from each side of the bottom.
I only put the closer one in the diagram as they seemed to be fading in and out ever other frame. The globe on the rear appeared to be a little bigger in diameter and appeared to be highly reflective like a mirror while the more oblong one appeared to be more of a whitish material. Camera was recording two seconds every thirty seconds. I half expected to see it again before it flew out of my field of view but never saw it again. Speed and altitude were similar to the Jet traffic which heads in that direction several times a day.
Thank you to the eyewitness for their report.

UFO Circling The Military Base At CFB Comox, Vancouver Island, B.C.
Posted: January 13, 2008
HBCC UFO Research Note: This is a second sighting over the Comox military base. Also there has been a large number of reports coming in from Vancouver Island and it appears that the Comox base is busier than normal according to witnesses. If anyone else is seeing unusual objects for Vancouver Island would they please contact me at: hbccufo@telus.net
Date: September 25, 2005 Time: 12:15 p.m.
Message: I just saw another UFO circling the military base at CFB Comox. I saw it at 12:15 pm and the skies are clear, except for one chemtrail nearby. I got some pretty good pictures and this time it is unmistakably a saucer. I got a half dozen images of it...plus in one of them there is a mirrored shadow object nearby.
Additional Information (Telephone interview)
The witness said in the photos you can see possibly two objects, the white saucer shaped craft, with another off to the left which appears darker in color and seemed to be shadowing the other. The skies are clear except for a contrail/chemtrail which was seen by the witness. The trail in the sky was not close to the object according to the witness. As the person watched, she heard know sound what so ever and the object did make a direction change, although it did this slowly.
She states that whatever this was, wasn't moving as fast as a normal aircraft should be traveling, it was moving much slower. The sun was shinning on the object according to what the witness saw.
Thank you to the eyewitness for their report.

Crosstown/Coal Harbour Vancouver B.C. Cylindrical/Rod UFOs
Posted: January 13, 2008
Date: September 25, 2005 Time: 3:55 - 4:00 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 2 Shape of objects: Cylindrical/rod
Full Description of event/sighting: While out on a smoke break at work today, I was looking up at the sky at all of the contrail/chemtrails over coal harbour and the westend of Vancouver.
I was on a fire escape on the 7th floor of the Dominion Building in Crosstown. Facing Northwest looking at Coal Harbour and the North Shore mountains.
High in the sky but really not more than a few hundred feet higher than me, I noticed a red and a white object floating over Coal Harbour. At first I thought it must be a couple of helium filled balloons that got away from someone. As the objects continued their slow almost floating movements I noticed that the white object, which appeared to be below the red one at first, was moving up almost parallel to the red object.
Then the red object would pull ahead and the white one would move to a 45 degree angle to the red one. Then the white object moved parallel and ahead of the red one. They seemed separated by a very short distance during this time, maybe about 10 feet. It almost seemed as if some sort of a tether was visible which was why I thought they were balloons at first glance.
They way they moved was not like any helium balloons I have ever witnessed in the sky. Their movements were too linear and almost jerking when they would move ahead of one another. And they floated forward in a straight line never continuing to a higher elevation they way helium balloons keep rising.
By this time they were directly across from my view point. I could see that they were not round like balloons but cylindrical in shape. From the distance I was at they appeared to be about an inch across in the sky.
I remembered that we have a digital camera in the office so I ran inside and got it - this took all of 1 minute tops. The objects were no longer visible so I figured they must have gone around the corner of the building and I could no longer see them.
So I ran to the elevator and went down to street level looking up at where they seemed they should have been in the sky. I was taking into consideration how slowly they had been moving while I had watched - which was for about 5 minutes. In that time they only traveled about 100 feet maximum in the sky.
They were gone...completely. I stood at the corner of Cambie and West Hastings Street which has a fairly unobstructed view of Coal Harbour skies and the North Shore mountains. They had disappeared. This is unfortunate as I really wanted to get a photo. It wouldn't have taken me more than a couple of minutes to get to the corner. Hopefully someone else noticed these objects in the Vancouver skies today and did get picture.
Thank you to the eyewitness for their report.

Spruce Grove, Alberta Four Orange-Reddish Spheres (UFO)
Posted: January 13, 2008
Date: September 27, 2005 Time: Approx: 11:15 p.m.
Message: hello, I would like to enquire about a UFO sighting that I had at Spruce Grove, AB on September 27/05. I made a report to an Alberta based UFO watch (can't remember name right now) and I want to know if any other reports have come in that would correlate mine. Here is the skinny: At approx 11:15 pm, looking eastward towards Edmonton I noticed four orange-reddish spheres at 60-70 degrees of elevation traveling on a 260-270 degree bearing. Also two more of same flanking the four at same speed to the north. Altitude is difficult to determine as the size reference/speed ratio is near impossible to gage.
However these spheres were definitely not conventional craft, no sound, no flicker. The event lasted about 4-6 seconds. If I had to guess a speed I would say around mach one if the alt. was approx 1000-5000-agl. Inversely if the altitude was say 10,000-50,000 feet agl. The speed was much faster (mach-6 or faster). This the second time in my life I have seen something that defies convention in the sky. I have no qualms about UFO sightings or the people that report them. I would however like to know how many of this particular sort have been reported. please e-mail me back with your opinion, thank you.
Thank you to the eyewitness for the report.

Southwestern, Oshawa Black Morphing Object
Posted: January 13, 2008
Date: September 10, 2005 Time: Between 11:00 to 11:30 a.m.
Hi Brian, once again, your site provides valuable information posted, in helping observers like us, find similar sightings around the world. I have found in your archives, Posted on, Aug.5,2004, "North East Minneapolis, Unusual Morphing Object Filmed". I must bring to your attention, that this black morphing object, with a red flash (2-3 seconds) was also seen, over my house in southwestern Oshawa, on Sept.10, 2005 at between 11:00 to 11:30am. In fascination, this object had the same characteristics, as illustrated on the video. I do know now, with the variety of shapes, size and colours reported. That there are many that are similar, all around the world, white ones included. I will continue to watch, as they watch us. P.S. Excellent video, that again proves, UFOs do exist. I also congratulate, the camera person who filmed this object in Minneapolis. Take care and keep up the excellent job.
Thank you to the witness for the report of the object seen over his home.

Tottenham, Ontario Globe Like White-Bluish Light
Posted: January 13, 2008
Date: September 2005 (?) Time: N/A
HBCC UFO Research Note: This person is referring to a report I received from another eyewitness from Tottenham, Ontario.
Hi Brian, I hope the snow is not too deep. I would like to bring to your attention of a friend, who too, sees many objects, in day and night. This person was a former resident of Georgetown, Ontario. That had moved to Tottenham, Ontario in the month of September/05. I have just recently spoken to her. As she confirms a sighting, 2-3 miles away from Tottenham's main hwy.
The object is described as "globe" like, with intense white-bluish light, and may well be the size of a mile! As like myself, there well could be a connection to a person's movements, including a change of their residence. I find this to be a confirmation of the report sent to you by another witness near Tottenham, Ont. We'll see what pops up next in these given areas, crop circles included. This person is also perplexed of the last two years of high activity in her area.
Thank you to the person for passing along this information.

Parkland Area, Manitoba Large Orange Glowing Sphere
Posted: January 13, 2008
Date: September 2, 2005 Time: 9:30-9:45 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Parkland area Manitoba. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Large orange glowing sphere.
Full Description of event/sighting: It was approximately 9:30 -9:45 pm on Sept 2/05 at the time a friend and I were just turning onto the road that leads to the lake...You know the lake..I have had a couple incredible sightings there.. The sun had set already..The sky was pink and purple at the time. When all of a sudden my buddy goes, "what's that?" there in the sky to the west south west not far from the lake was an Orange glowing sphere.it was very obvious in the sky. We stopped the car and watched it for about 15 seconds. It was just sitting there. I ran through my mind on what it could be.
The Sun was gone already, too small and low and not in the right place for the moon. My buddy said come on, let's go down to the lake and see this. I was kind of apprehensive and I said no. It will be gone. So we continued towards the lake. I kept an eye on it as long as I could before the trees blocked the view. I saw it a few times as we got closer, and it still had not moved.then the trees blocked the view. We got down to the lake about 2 minutes later but it was gone, as I thought it might be. I haven't had much time to get this written and off to you. But I did notice that there have been other reported sightings of which appears to be the same object. So I thought it best to try to get this out too you.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Magnetawan, Ontario A Time Loss Of About 15 Minutes
Posted: January 13, 2008
Date: September 2005 ? Time: Right around dark. Number of witnesses: 4
Full Description of event/sighting: I would like to know if anyone is familiar with the Magnetawan area, around Burk's Falls, Ontario. We have had so many things happen up there.
One incident last fall, my brother, two cousins and a close friend were on A.T.V's on the family property. They stopped at my Grandma's deserted farmhouse and went inside. When they went to leave, my brother's bike wouldn't start. Never happened before. Finally, my cousin suggested that they push the bike away from the farmhouse and try it. As soon as they did, the bike started. The cousin and friend headed over the hill on their A.T.V.s.
The others were thought to be right behind them. Finally, my brother and other cousin showed up. My cousin, (name removed), asked them what took them so long. They were shocked by this and said they watched the others tail lights all the way over the hill. My cousin, (name removed), said they had a time loss of about 15 minutes. I could go on and on about what goes on up there. This is just one incident.
Thank you to the witness for the interesting report.

Port Maitland, Nova Scotia A Large Multi Colored Flashing Ball
Posted: January 13, 2008
Report Received: February 05, 2007
Date: September 2005 Time: Evening (nightfall)
Message: I should like to report a UFO sighting I had in 2005 - I did report this to local radio station to see if anyone else had called in with it, but they never got back to me.
It was a late Summer evening and dark out. I happened to look out of my upstairs bathroom window which overlooks the ocean and in the sky was this large multi colored flashing ball. It hovered for a few seconds then darted right to left. I called my husband to see this, but by the time he had arrived the flashing ball had come to a stand still, although still flashing colors. It then rose high in the sky and was gone, I went to the front of the house to see it, it had gone into the eastern sky but it was nowhere to be seen. I called a neighbor to see if he had seen anything of the same nature but he had not.
Did you hear of anything being reported of a similar nature. I was not drinking as I don't drink. I am not one drug. This really did happen, but when I reported it no one seemed to care. But I would like to know what it was, nothing I know of could move that fast, or in a left to right and up and down formation. Please give me your views.
Additional Information Below:
Hi, thank you for replying, As I said I viewed this from my home which is in a village called Port Maitland, population about 500, nearest large town is Yarmouth with a population about 15,000, province of Nova Scotia in Canada. Not sure now what month of summer this took place now as I did not record it, but my husband thinks it was September. I watched for no longer than five minutes, the colors were very bright, mainly red and blue. I first viewed it just above the trees, but I thought at the time that it was over the ocean, or just above the shore line, (we live very close to the ocean) I hope this is of help. I have at different times watched for it but it has never appeared again.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Sudbury, Ontario Unusual UFO Sighting
Posted: January 13, 2008
Date: September 21, 2005 Time: Approx: 6:30 p.m.
Approach Direction: North. Departure Direction: South. Witness Direction: East.
Description: I was coming home from an orthodontist appointment down Ramsey Lake road from the direction of Science North. By a stroke of luck, the back seats were full of junk and I sat shotgun, which is unusual because I sat behind the drivers seat so long I'm just used to it.
As we were going down the road I noticed a bright light approaching the edge of the shore, coming from just over the lake. I looked at it funny because it was very unusual, the hospital would have been directly the opposite direction it was heading but the helicopter is always going somewhere and never travels this slow, low and this did not have the standard blinking lights. This was my first UFO that I'd seen, one of a good at least 2 and I was very curious and watched it patiently to make sure of what I was seeing. As I watched it, I noticed the spotlight under it was moving. The day was clear, not a single cloud in the sky and it wasn't dark enough yet to see all the stars, but I could see Venus and some larger stars. The spotlight was so intensely bright that you could see it through the air for probably the first 70 feet.
The beam was aimed at the road and stayed there as it approached being directly over the road a little ways past. it was looking at the cars and the way it moved around and did not stay stationary, something was definitely moving it. As it just passed the road it moved the light quickly over to the building near the road. it was definitely not robotic, or perhaps joysticked or something, it was very not stationary and constantly moving, kind of how a helicopter would look for a criminal. It aimed at the walls of a building that I believe is a library or something with Laurentian University.
As it moved the light around the walls of the building it continued to Travel Inn the same seemingly due south direction. After passing the building it must have sped up a bit as it seemed to cover more distance, but it was not dramatic. After passing the building the beam was pointed straight down and as of now, I was roughly 150m away plus its altitude. Suddenly a ball of light dropped from the craft and fell until 30 feet from the craft where it seemed to go out, without any sign of debris, two others followed in perfect succession of about half a second (if anything different, it would have been less) with the exact same disappearing act. the lights were yellow and seemed perfectly incandescent in appearance compared to the white-beamed spotlight.
At this point in time it was heading in the same direction at a slow pass (still) when the building it was looking at blocked my view. I wasn't able to see it after that, it could have still been there or left in a flash I really can't say. The whole time it was there it didn't make a sound. My mom saw it also but was more focused on driving most of the time. It wasn't exactly sundown, the perfect boundary when the stars just begin to come out yet there was no light in the sky really, so the craft itself was pretty invisible, especially with the intense spotlight. It was difficult to make out a dark, relatively flat object, appeared to be maybe an eye with eyelids proportion, the sort of oval shape, probably rounded edges, very small in size also. the spotlight diameter coming out of the bottom was probably 1/3 (or more)its total length, but still very hard to tell. I probably watched it for nearly a minute, perhaps longer.
I'm fairly sure of the date, but I figured I would make this report once I found out the probable exact date from my orthodontist.
Color/Shape: Appeared to be a dark Disc roughly 10 feet in diameter with a single spotlight-like white/blue tinged beam.
Height & Speed: 200-250 feet, 2-5 mph(well below walking speed) then a probable change to around 7-10mph.
TV/Radio/Press: CBC radio, two days after I saw it, my mother told me that her friend she works with heard news about UFOs in Sudbury the day before (day after I saw the UFO) on the CBC radio. They wanted people to call in with information, and I'm sure I got probably one of the best views of it, but I didn't feel like it, for being possibly ridiculed even though I may have been able to remain anonymous.

Calgary, Alberta Three Lighted Object Slithered Across The Sky
Posted: January 12, 2008
Date: August 1, 2005 Time: 1:00 a.m.
Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Oblong
Full Description of event/sighting: At approximately 1:00 a.m. on August 1, 2005 a 3-lighted object slithered across the Calgary skyline, from west to east (I live on the west side). As it approached the downtown city lights it vanished and simultaneously a meteor appeared, following the same trajectory as the object.
I have one witness with me who saw me pointing to this object, but he couldn't see it himself. He instead followed my eyes as I was following the object and he saw the subsequent meteor. I said to him as I watched this object "look at that, there are no lights, yes, there are three lights". I said it in this way as I was seeing it and trying to digest what it was. I said "no lights" first because there were no red or white blinking lights that you would see normally see on a plane.
I knew there were no wings in other words. I don't understand how he could not have seen the object, it was large enough, close enough and there were no other objects visible in the cloudless, starry sky. He was absolutely convinced I was seeing and watching and following this object with my eyes, and the meteor happening at the same time I said to him "it's vanished" was quite a coincidence. No alcohol or other substances involved.
The object was about the size of a large airplane and was caterpillar or ameba-like with three "dome" type lights beneath it that did not radiate any sort of light downward. The lights took up at least 80% of the underside of the object. There were no other lights on the side or top or around it at all.
It made no sound like a regular airplane would. And it was too late for a normal airplane to fly over my house. It moved very "smoothly" across the night skyline. It appeared completely in synch with the sky, as if it was traveling on water, whereas a regular plane cuts across the air and makes audible sound. When I said caterpillar-like it was because of the fluidity of its movement - like it wasn't a completely solid structure, it could move and bend in a way a plane never would.
Thank you to the witness for the very interesting report.

Sandbanks, Prince Eward County Ontario

Hi Brian, On August 2, 2005 at about 1:00-1:30 a.m. on a very clear night. At the location of the Sandbanks (Lake Ontario) Prince Eward County. (80 kms. south of Trenton,Ontario) I witnessed a very fast "shooting star" moving horizontally about one to 2000 feet max above the ground. It was bright white blue light, that left a 2-3 second trail of the same colour which faded out. It's speed was incredible, with a 3-4 second window of viewing about 3-5 miles of sky. I do know and have seen, even earlier that night, noticed about 4 or 5 falling stars. But this one was different Brian, it flew perfectly horizontal with a (2-3 sec) trail signature. The direction was East to West over Lake Ontario heading towards Toronto. So was this a natural event? or other? First timer on this one Brian, feedback would be appreciated.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Creston, British Columbia Orange Ball Splits In Two And Both Hover
Posted: January 12, 2008
Date: August 1, 2005 Time: Approx: 11:55 p.m.
The witness was looking at a clear sky filled with stars. Suddenly he noticed an orange fireball shaped object appear from the south. After observing for a few seconds it suddenly split into two objects of the same. The second one stopped and was hovering as the main piece continued along for a short distance and it to stopped. As the witness watched, both objects would appear to get dimmer, then flare up to their original brightness. Finally both objects darted towards the ground and into the distance very quickly until they finally vanished. One heading eastward and the other towards the north/northeast.
The witness told me the two orange objects sat hovering for approx: a minutes and a half and very low to the tree-line.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Around And On Burke Mountain Numerous White & Green Strobe Lights
Posted: January 12, 2008
Date: August 5 and 6, 2005 Time: Between 9:00 p.m. & Midnight
Friday and Saturday, Aug. 5 and 6th. between the hours of 9: PM and midnight. I was seeing numerous white and green strobe lights flashing over, around and on Burke Mountain. mainly near the Hydro lines. On Sat. night I aimed my video camera at the mountain. and just let it run. While it was running I attempted to watch the Fireworks on KatKam but it was taking too long to cycle. So I mainly just looked out the window. I saw numerous small planes apparently flying over to watch the fireworks and then returning. One apparent small plane caught my attention as it seemed to be glowing yellow all over, it had a red flashing strobe on top. I took a quick look through my binoculars and noticed it seemed to have black rectangular windows along the side and the red light on top was huge. It was headed east about the same height and speed as the rest of the aircraft. When I checked the tape I zoomed in and it looked more like a flying pie plate than any of the planes.
The lower portion was wider and looked like the drawing I tried making. ( Photo Shop decided to stop functioning so I was unable to trim the excess.)
The windows appeared to be evenly spaced all around the ship and being black I was unable to see anything within. Still not sure if it was a plane or not. I could not see any wings or tail and most passenger planes would be much higher and they usually have the window lit up from within. This was only at about 12 to 1500 ft. It didn't appear to be any bigger than the planes, so estimated 30 to 40 ft., only saw it from side so don't know if it was round, square or a tube. I would suspect it may have been round. But only guessing.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Boucherville, Quebec Light Turns Bluish In Color While Making A 45 degree Turn
Posted: January 12, 2008
Date: August 5, 2005 Time: 10:25 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Light.
Full Description of event/sighting: Hi, My girlfriend and I were in our homes backyard last Friday. I was out since 20h30 stargazing with my telescope as I do for 20 years each time I got time. My girlfriend was coming out of the pool and just sat on the deck looking at the sky. She told me to look at a satellite that she has just spotted coming from the North-West 'cause it looked weird. It took me a couple of seconds to spot it, because it was a little dim, nothing abnormal to me. I told her that it's just a normal satellite as the other couple of hundreds (even thousands) I've seen in my "career" of amateur astronomer. But as I say that, the light turned at an angle of approximately 45 degrees, started going South-West and picked up speed while turning kind of bluish. It disappeared so fast that I can't even think it was coming from earth, never seen anything like it in my hole life !
Since that time, we've talked about our sighting every single day...never a satellite can change it's path like that.
Additional Information:
No problem Brian, It does mean a lot to me to because I've always been aware that we are not alone in this wide universe. As I told you, I've never seen that kind of light before, and I can't tell how many nights I've passed outside looking to stars and planets. I'm 32 and I remember receiving my first telescope at 10.
Q. - Anyway, were you able to see a trail or tail following behind the object that you and your girlfriend witnessed ?
A. - Response: Not at all...
Q. - Was the object you both saw, was it at a high altitude ? (I am guessing it was)
A. - Response: About satellite high I think, surely in atmosphere...
Q. - How long were you both able to watch the object for ?
A. - Response: About 1 to 2 minutes until it sped away...
Q. - Was there any kind of flashing or blinking coming from it, maybe lights of some kind or the reflection of the sun if at a high altitude ?
A. - Response: Not flashing at all, maybe a solar reflection...
Q. - I almost forgot, was the light white before changing color to a blue ?
A. - Response: Yes, the object seemed white at first, but picked up speed and turned bluish.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Montreal, Quebec A Bright Shining Object Stationary In The Sky
Posted: January 12, 2008

HBCC UFO Research note: I have changed the names in this report to keep the witness names private.
Hi Brian, I hope things are fine out west just as they are here down east.
I received a phone call this morning from my friend May who lives in Montreal just before I stepped out my door to head to work. She said that this time she had to call me and there was no other way out of calling me (we call each other regularly) because she and her son had both seen something in the sky.
She said after having watched the space shuttle land earlier in the day, they were in the car once again driving her son to goalie camp and it was 5:13 p.m., when May noticed something very bright in the sky. She said she first thought it was the sun reflecting off of an airplane but the bright thing was not moving. It was stationary and when she told her son to check it. He uttered the words, “It looks like...”. He never even was able to finish his sentence when the object in the sky just vanished. Oh, she said there was not a cloud in the sky either. The young boy was trying to say that it looks like the same thing he saw on May 8.
I told May that I’ve had this inkling that our object is around again and that I’m going to see it again eventually. Why do I just truly believe in that? It’s just a gut feeling.
That’s all for now.
Thank you to the person for the report.

Parkland Area In, Manitoba Elongated Diamond Shape Object
Posted: January 12, 2008
Date: August 5, 2005 Time: 12:06 a.m.
Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Elongated diamond.
Full Description of event/sighting: I had been at the lake since Wednesday night, every night going out to the boat and laying on the front of it and looking at the stars. I would be out there by approx:10:30 p.m. It was on a Friday night. The sky was clear and there was no moon of course and laying on my back with my head on the boat windshield. My body was facing west as I happen to look out to the south west portion of the sky when a few moments later I became distracted by a light off to the west north west, when I turned to look directly at it.
I saw a white light, that was a elongated diamond shape. In comparison, the intensity was perhaps a third more bright than the light reflected off the space station. At first I thought a jet landing light which would be very bad since being in the middle of no-where. Then I thought maybe a helicopter, then suddenly the light increased in brightness. I thought maybe a meteorite burning up as it became even more bright, but it wasn't moving. The light continued to increase in brightness to the point of causing me to squint as I continued to look at it. I then suddenly felt as if I was in a very bright spot light. The intensity took me totally off guard and it was a very, very bright white light. I could feel panic just beginning inside of me and instinct about to kick in. It was then that the light dimmed back to the original intensity and the elongated diamond shape clearly visible again. Still I was trying to figure out what it was I was looking at. It slowly began to move upward, but not for very long as it suddenly shot straight off into the sky upward.
I looked at my watch it said 12:07 (after midnight). The whole thing took place for approx: 45 seconds to a minute, then night was dark again. I laid there for another hour trying to make sense of what I saw. It wasn't one of the things you become accustomed to seeing in the night sky.
Additional Information:
Dear Brian, Hello again...I don't have access to a scanner at the moment nor do I have a digital camera, so, for now anyway. I cannot send any kind of drawing. Perhaps the near future, sorry.
As for your other questions: perhaps the object was a half mile to a mile away, but truly it is hard to tell, for I have never seen any of the likes before.
The night was very calm and there was only the sound of the animals in the forest and in the lake that evening, even they seemed quiet when the object appeared. But that is all, nothing from what I was witnessing at the time, no noises or sounds.
The location of the lake is in the Parklands in Manitoba just near Riding Mountain National Park. There is seldom any aircraft at all over the area. There are no airports nor any kind of military, airforce, nor research installations any where near, the are no city's, only a few small towns and villages spread out.
There was no trailing light behind it, no tail nor trail. Just itself.
When the object started moving upward it was not very fast. It compared to about a second after it started to move, then speed, that cannot be achieved by us (I don't think) because of how fast it just shot up into the night, from slow to instant major speed. No rocket or jet that I have ever seen can do that.
There were no flashing or blinking or pulsing lights from the object. The only time it changed was in the intensity of the light, from something a bit brighter than the space station, to an almost blinding spot light kind of effect..then after it dimmed to the intensity when I first noticed it.
There was nothing coming off it. It was though a very noticeable object in the night, as it sat there in the sky with its elongated diamond shape glowing. It was so out of place.
There is nothing really that I can add at the moment about this incident. Except, perhaps coincidence, but the animals, they were very active that night. I mean lots of animals all around me as it is true wilderness. But they all seem to fall quiet for that brief period. oh, Brian, the way the object shot up and gone. I saw the same speed 3 years ago on one August afternoon. There on the lake, that is the only time I can think to compare it to. That silver disc that shot straight up, but you know that one. But, that speed, wow just incredible. Sorry I cannot help more, but I wish again I had a camera. Take care.
Thank you to the person for the report.

Take care.

Toronto's Cherry Beach, Ontario Dark Object Over The Water
Posted: January 12, 2008
Date: August 5, 2005 Time: Approx: 6:30 p.m.
Hi Brian, it does appear another flap, may well be opening up.Your recent reports can tell the reader, of the great signs of activity happening. Here's a picture taken after 6:30 pm on Friday August 5, 2005, on the Toronto's Cherry Beach, facing south towards the US. I was fortunate to have my camera along to catch this one. I was attracted by the intensity of light on or just above the water. It was pretty far out there, so I snapped a picture for you to judge. Note: The darker object above, to the left of the bright light. Maybe some unearthly activity?
HBCC UFO Research Note: I tried to bring up the dark object in the image the gentleman is speaking of in his report, but it was just about impossible to see anything.
Thank you to the person for the report.

Coquitlam, B.C. Was it A Disk Shaped Craft

Date: August 6, 2005 Time: Approx: 7:00 p.m.
Aug. 06, 2005 - approx. 19:00 - Six o'clock news just finished and I decided to scan the mountains, just to check for smoke or anything unusual. About midway between Burke Mtn. And Heritage Mtn. I noticed a brief shiny flash. Usually these flashes turn out to be birds or small planes. But I waited to see if it would appear again and was soon rewarded with another brief flash.
I switched to my bigger binoculars as they are mounted on a stand and much more stable. I quickly located the object again and it appeared to be a Mylar balloon, shiny on one side and dark on the other. The only problem was Mylar balloons are rarely over about 24 inches in diameter and for this thing to be visible it must have been more like 20 or more feet in diameter. I set my camera up and aimed that way just to see if I could see it any better. I continued to track it for more than five minutes. It was moving much slower than a small plane and appeared to be stopping to check out each and every ravine or gully on the ridge just to the north of Burke Mtn. It slowly drifted out into the V shaped gap between that large peak to the north of Burke Mtn. And the ridge on the north.
There it stopped again then appeared to be coming straight at me as I could see it was slowly getting bigger and bigger. Just for a second I took my eyes from the binoculars to check the viewfinder on my camera. When I looked again it had completely vanished. I don't think it was a balloon.
1. Mylar balloons, generally climb pretty fast depending on the wind. This flew or floated pretty well horizontally for the entire five minutes at approx:. 3500 ft. and then appeared to make a right angle turn before vanishing. Appeared to be shaped like a rectangle or square pillow, but appeared to be tumbling like a balloon. Size - unknown, just looking at that gap and it could have been 20 or more yds. In diameter, For all I know. I scanned the whole mountain range but saw nothing.

Winlaw, British Columbia Bluish Colored Light Hovers
Posted: January 12, 2008
Date: August 8, 2005 Time: About 10:50
The skies were clear when my wife and I saw a bright bluish colored light. It was as bright as an arc from a welders welding machine. The object was hovering over the ground, approx 300 meters. It slowly rose up to a higher altitude, then it slowly disappeared towards the east. As it left it's hovering position, a mist or fine cloud was seen moving behind it. The light being so bright from the object one was able to see the mist very clearly. As it moved eastward, the light picked up speed at a incredible rate and was gone.

Kuujjuaq, Quebec Orange Light & The Perseid Meteor Shower
Posted: January 12, 2008
Date: August 11, 2005 Time: Approx: 7:55 p.m.
Hi Brian, I said I wouldn’t go out there tonight but I did anyway. I just had to check and indeed the sky had partially cleared so I can see some of the stars.
Just 20 minutes ago, looking to the NE sky I saw three “falling stars” within a five minute period. A few minutes after the first three fell, I saw the familiar little light (the orangey one) start to move, from my position, moving from NE to NW direction. It was moving slowly (relatively to its speed at other times). If I could put its speed in km/h it was going at about 50-60 km/h. I lost sight of it because some faint aurora and partial cloud were obscuring my view. It’s going to fly around us for a while, I’m sure, because that’s what it usually does. Then I looked to the SE sky (I was on my front porch tonight) and saw another “falling star”.
By any chance would you know if there are meteor showers going on above us tonight? Where can I access this kind of information quickly?
To answer the witness question about a possible meteor shower, this would be The Perseid Meteor Shower.
Thank you to the person for the report.

Scarborough, Ontario Possible White Colored UFO
Posted: January 12, 2008
Date: August 11, 2005 Time: Approx: 10:10 - 10:15 a.m.
Brian, I would like to report a possible white colored UFO photographed. Talk about a double head shaker on this one Brian. It's just been a continuum of layers of the "strange" around me. On Thursday, August 11, 2005, at about 10:10 -10:15am. During morning break, outside. The sky, north of my position was pure blue, no clouds no smog, no chemtrail signatures, just absolutely blue. Admiring the sky, about 20-30,000 ft.+, noticed a very, brilliant, "white colored" object.
The speed would be a guess of about + or minus, 300 mph. This object traveled from the west to the east with a slight turn, towards a northerly direction. I could not identify it with naked eye, as it may have been a Lear white jet. So time for my digital camera, and snapped 2 pictures of this moving white object. I used the building as a marker, to be sure to capture this object on film, on high resolution. After the pictures, I watched it for another 30 seconds. Duration of observing this object would be 2-3 minutes total. After no more sight of it, down I sit and reviewed the pictures. I had definitely caught one on film, a "brilliant" white dot, dead smack center on one of photo's. Here's the double head shaker Brian. After about half an hour later, I thought of viewing the pictures once again. This time, in a darkened washroom, very close to where I work. I was excited that maybe the darkness would add definition to the object. I was surprised to see that what I caught on film wasn't there anymore in the photos.
Thank you to the person for the report.

Edmonton, Alberta Soft Light Blue Object Changes Direction
Posted: January 12, 2008
Date: August 11, 2005 Time: 11:25 p.m.
Message: At 11:25 p.m. in Edmonton Alberta. My brother yelled for his wife and myself to come outside "quick!".
What appeared to be a shooting star was streaming by horizontally with 2 changes in direction before it resumed a horizontal path.
We easily ruled out plane and its path (remaining at a steady distance from the ground, higher than any plane's path we ever witnessed) we also ruled out shooting star. It was similar to a star in appearance from the ground, soft light blue coloring.
It was Awesome!
We stood there for approx 2-3 minutes until its distances made it hard to see.
Thank you to the person for the report.

Richmond, British Columbia Dull Yellow Oval Shaped Object
Posted: January 12, 2008
Date: August 12, 2005 Time: 10:45 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Backyard of residence in Steveson. Number of witnesses: 3 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Oval disk like.
Full Description of event/sighting: We were viewing shooting stars when out of the south east, an oval object appeared. It was a dull yellow and moved slower than a shooting star and quicker than a small airplane. We saw it for about 7-10 seconds and then it disappeared towards the North Star. It seemed to have a headlight that illuminated itself. It was distinctly oval and unique. We all agreed at the same time that what we were looking at was a UFO.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Boucherville, Quebec Object With Bluish Color Changing Back To White
Posted: January 12, 2008
Date: August 13, 2005 Time: 9:35 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Backyard, in front of me, over a tall tree. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Sphere like.
Full Description of event/sighting: I went outside for a cigarette and as usual, I was looking to the sky hoping to see some of the annual Perseid meteor shower. All of the sudden, a bright light moving east to west appeared before my eyes. At first, I thought it was a satellite, but after a second I realized it couldn't be a satellite because it was moving too fast and had like a bluish color changing back to bright white as it moved.
It also seemed to me that the light had a sort of revolution around itself as it was moving. Like a ball rolling down on a floor.
I followed its course for 4-5 seconds until it disappeared into a cloud.
I forgot to say that there was no sound what so ever, no blinking lights like on a plane.
Well, that's about it. At last, a sighting in my hometown. Maybe it's just the beginning.
Additional Information:
Hi Brian, I will try to answer your questions the best I can.
Q. - 1. Did the object travel in a straight flight path:
A. - Yes
Q. - 2. What were the weather conditions at the time of the sighting ?
A. - Hot summer night, no wind, cloudy.
Q. - 3. Would you estimate the light was at a great altitude, I am wondering as you mentioned it disappeared into a cloud ?
A. - Well, it seemed to me that the light was not that high, opposing to a satellite for example. If I'm right, the light was at almost the same altitude a small recreational plane would have.
Q. - 4. Were there any aircraft in the area at the time of the sighing that you can remember ?
A. - There was no plane at the time of the sighting. No engine/propeller sound, or blinking lights.
Q. - 5.And did it have a trail or tail following behind it ?
A. - No
Q. - 6.Were you able to see any shape at all to it, or did it seem to change shape as it traveled across the sky ?
A. - Well, it seemed to me that the thing were round, like a little sphere of light. Again, I can be wrong, but I really think I saw it revolving around itself as it was moving.
Q. - If I can think of any other details, I will contact you.
A. - You can be sure I will watch the sky carefully for the next weeks.
Have a good night.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Dryden, Ontario Two UFO Discs
Posted: January 12, 2008
Date: August 1, 2005 Time: Approx: 2:50 a.m.
On August 1, 2005 about 2:50 a.m. I awoke as I could not sleep. So as normal, I got out of bed walked out on to the deck and looked up to the sky. I saw that it was a gorgeous night, the stars were shining bright. So I sat on the lawn chair and slouched back with my head on the backrest watching the stars. Then all of the sudden two disc like objects lit up above the housing subdivision. I jumped out of my chair, blinking my eye and starring at the two UFO discs. They started to move slowly across the sky from north to south then the one on the left moved sideways and then back again. They made no noise as they slowly continued moving south over Gamble subdivision down towards the yacht club docks and over the trees. Then they were out of my view, this lasted for about 40 seconds I would guess these object were about two or three thousand feet of the ground," I still can't believe it my self" since that night I have been reading like crazy on UFO sightings.

Western Oshawa, Ontario Low Flying Flashing Light
Posted: January 12, 2008
Date: August 13, 2005 Time: 11:26 p.m.
Brian, I would like to report a UFO sighting that was extremely close to my position tonight. They don't get much closer than this! I'm outside at home in western Oshawa, sky watching tonight, facing west on Saturday, August 13, 2005 at about 11:20 pm. In the description of what I saw, was simply amazing. This roundish, white star object, flashing ever so slightly, moving along north of my position.
Here's the kicker, this object was very low, at about between 100-150 feet above the ground. The distance from myself and the object, would be also between 100-200 feet max. away. The speed of the object to guess, would be around 80-100 + mph. This object appeared to be flashing, and it's size would be 2-5 ft. in diameter. It's flight path was from the east to west, towards Whitby,Ontario. The object's light intensity was just like that of a star, whitish blue. It did appear to have a ever so slight, up and down movement (waving). I had only a window of about 3-4 seconds to view this star-like object. I recorded the time at exactly 11:26 pm EST. How much closer will "they" get. I please urge any other people, to report any similar sightings to this recent one I have encountered.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

West Vancouver To Coquitlam, B.C. Strange Cloud & Fireball
Posted: January 12, 2008
Date: August 20, 2005 Time: 8:57 p.m.
Hi Brian, 08:57 - Aug. 20, Just after sunset, sky was still quite light towards the west, was just sitting here half watching TV and talking with my wife, all of a sudden she said, "what the heck is that". I looked over to Cyprus Bowl in West Vancouver where she was pointing but the only thing I could see was what appeared to be a dark gray contrail hanging in the sky and extending about half a mile to the south. She kept saying, look, look, its moving. I watched it more closely than realized she was right it was moving at a very high speed for a cloud. I took a look through my binoculars but it still just appeared to be a dark gray contrail.
Anyway within about 30 sec. to a minute, It traveled from over Cyprus Bowl to Heritage Mountain. In Coquitlam. All the time it maintained its shape, not spreading out like most contrails do, when being blown by the wind. Never seen clouds do that and I noticed the other clouds north of the mountains, all appeared to be going very slowly from east to west, not west to east. When it got over Heritage Mountain. It just seemed to fade away. Seconds later a very large meteorite or fireball appeared in the sky almost over our bldg. It headed north towards Heritage Mountain., before apparently burning out at almost the same spot in the sky where we last saw the contrail. I told my wife the contrail was probably from a Jet flying over earlier, but she insisted no.
That was the same thing she used to see in the skies over Fiji, going from the west towards the south. I repeated probably a Jet, she said "No its not" she used to see Jets flying over all the time and they were always white, not black or dark gray like this was. Wish I'd had the camera ready when the fireball went over it was spectacular and moving much slower than the usual meteorites we see.
The fire on Heritage Mountain. is out now but I still wonder what that white object was, you should have seen the way it just faded out as it resumed level flight. The sky conditions were still the same when the choppers came and they were flying all around the same area and the sky was clear, the only time I couldn't see them was when they either flew behind the mountain or dropped down behind the ridges apparently to get water.
Thank you to the witness for the report.
