HBCC UFO Research Note: This is the second sighting at Keefer Lake, B.C. Both times footage has been taken, one by the eyewitness and this time by CHBC television as they were doing an interview with the eyewitness who shot the footage on Date: July 20, 2005 at noon.I will be posting some of the photos shortly of the first objects seen and filmed.
Hi Brian, Bob from Keefer Lake here. This may be hard to believe but we have recorded another sighting less than an hour ago with 4 witnesses. Better yet, I was being interviewed by CHBC television at the time (re: the first sighting) and their camera was also able to record footage of the object There was only one this time. They are taking the footages to the Kelowna office of NavCan for analysis. They tell me that it will be picked up by Global News tonight or tomorrow.

South East Manitoba, Near Highway #1 Backwards White "C" Shaped Object

Date: August 27, 2005 Time: 8:15 to 9:00 p.m.

Full Description of event/sighting: We were driving from Ontario to Manitoba. and were close to the Manitoba border. It was about 7:30 pm when I noticed a backwards white "C" in the sky off to the north a bit, but not too far, it was more above than north. I asked my buddy. Do you see that?. He said yes, I asked him then. What do you think it is? He said I don't know. I had the opportunity to watch this object for about 45 minutes. It was as white as a jet contrail and I thought, well maybe that's it. But I soon realized that it was remaining in the backwards C shape and it was traveling in a westerly direction.
We were doing around 110 km/hr and the object continued to pull away and it was some distance up. A jet airliner that was heading east actually passed right by it. I thought whoa. I wonder if they saw it. So I sat there watching and trying to come up with an explanation for the object. For some time I was racking my brain, it couldn't be the moon, my buddy said Venus. I said nope, way too big. So I watched it till it finally went out of sight heading west. It was a peculiar sight and even more strange that it passed by so close to the jetliner. That's all I can tell you.

I had a sighting in August of 2005 similar to this report below:
Dec. 23, 10:06 p.m. — Three people travelling in a vehicle observed a circular object with three flashing red and white lights flying along the right side of Highway 72, 10 kilometers south of Sioux Lookout. When they got closer, the object suddenly took a 90-degree turn left and “flew over the highway and right over us.”
It was around the same area too, there was a horseshoe shape of white lights in the sky about 200 feet up or so that remained stationary. I pulled over and rolled down my window thinking it would be a helicopter but there was no sound at all, it was just hovering there. I rushed back into town to get a friend so I could show them but by the time I got back it was gone.

Pebble Beach In Westbank, British Columbia A Series Of Sonic Booms

I read with interest your account of May 18, 2007 on Okanagan Lake. Two years ago there were a series of sonic booms in the Okanagan Valley. My wife and I heard one while on Pebble Beach in Westbank. She said it was just like when the military planes landed in Seattle where she lived. My first grade daughter at the time heard another one in class. My local astronomy group recorded seeing a fire ball at night then a sonic boom. These all happened in the same month and I never heard of such before or after in the Okanagan.

Edmonton, Alberta Light Stops And Grows In Intensity

Full Description of event/sighting: Last night at just after 2:00 in the morning I went outside, because I couldn't sleep. I stood in the back alley looking at the stars as it was a very clear night, with just a couple of clouds visible. I stood there not 5 minutes when what I thought was a satellite moving north at about 90 degrees directly overhead, it stopped dead in it's tracks and lit up to an enormous bright light that appeared to me to be pulsating. It lasted only about 5 seconds then started to diminish until it was the same spec in the sky as before and continued on its path.
I am an amateur astronomer and skywatch as often as the weather permits, and know that this was way to high to be a helicopter which is often seen around my area. For this thing to go from a pin point of light to about the size of the tip of my index finger in brightness is very strange to me, as I'm sure it must have been very high in altitude. If there is an explanation I would love to hear it, because it has me at a loss. The color was bright white, and no noise was heard.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was sleeping last night and was suddenly awoken by a sound which seemed to be coming from my back yard. I looked out my room window into the backyard of our house to see a red ball of light. After a few minutes of watching the red ball of light, I was some how drawn to go and see what the light was. I left my room and proceeded to walk to the sliding glass door in the family room to see, I could see it as I was walking towards the door, wondering what this ball of light was.
I went to open the door and the light disappeared, then there was a sound I can't explain, and then a crash. I was not willing at that time to see what had made the sound, I was going to close the door when I felt a sudden coldness come over my body. It made my body cold and shocked, then I was able to close the door. I went right back to my room and saw the red glowing light still pulsing and seeming to grow in size then suddenly shrank. I woke up the next morning wondering what I had seen and feeling a sense of something watching me.

Spring Lake, Alberta Orb With Different Colors

Message: Saturday July 16th 23:00-00:00? Canada Alberta, Spring Lake (formerly Edmonton Beach) about an hour out of Edmonton.
We had the fire going, my father in law (ex-military), mom in law, wife and myself. It was windy and the nimbostratus cloud covering was low but in the distance to the west we could see clear sky and the tree-line. The sun was still setting and would of been beautiful if not for that blanket above us, still we could see the red light on top of the tower in Wabamun and the beautiful Alberta peach colored sky.
My wife has an eye for UFOs, she as usual said "what is that over there"? At first I thought for sure it was Venus or Sirius. It looked like a planet and even my father in law agreed and said it was a planet or star. I figured it was a planet, due to the sun would of been hitting it directly and would explain the magnitude of this thing. It might of been moving from south to north slowly as we didn't notice.
But than after 3-5 minutes we all noticed this thing was lower and slowly moving north. The whole sighting was about 10 minutes, or it seemed that way. My wife ran in and grabbed the binoculars and we all got a glance at this thing. It was one orb with colors going from red, orange, yellow and white. We all agree it was orange red, yellow, well we agree on those colors. It would head north in a straight line. Than drop altitude stop. than hover north again and drop altitude again than we lost it in the tree-line.
My mother in law stayed there with bionics in hand, waiting for it to come back up out of the tree-line but to no avail.
I asked my father in law if he could identify it being in the forces and he said "no". I was so happy there were 4 witnesses to this.
This isn't our first report to this site and I by the way things are going all around the planet I don't think it will be our last.

Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia Unusual Moving Object

Full Description of event/sighting: Daughter and I were star gazing and thought it was a satellite. It looked like another star in the sky and it was so far away. I noticed it flashed a light, but the flashing was not consistent (almost looked like light was being reflected off of it) It moved up erratically upwards in an "S" formation and then disappeared. I then I noticed it had moved down in a "V" formation and moved upwards to where it originally was, it moved up slowly. Then suddenly disappeared. The thing that stood out was the way it moved, very unconventional for an airplane, satellite, etc. My daughter had also observed this at the same time.

Terrace, British Columbia UFO About 3/4 Full Moon Size

I was looking towards the west from the most western extend of my property, where I do watch sunsets often sitting on a bench. Suddenly a grayish cloud materialized out of nowhere and a UFO appeared in the same. The sky was otherwise completely clear with superb vision. The intensive white light, 3/4 full moon size, moved slowly north behind the crown of a solitary Cedar and appeared on the other side of the same within a few seconds. I could witness how the light increased in brightness and size to 1 1/2 times the size of the full moon, and turned!! towards the west before disappearing within 10 + seconds. My estimation is, that the craft was less than 500 meters away from my position when it was the biggest and brightest.
2.2340hrs: Same location. Witnessed a bright white light appearing over the mountains in south-western direction and flying straight north-east.The speed was very fast because, from first spotting the object in the distance, until losing it out of sight east of my place, took only 23 seconds. Interesting to see, that the light intensity of the object changed from bright white to grayish dim when it came close to the city below. I would estimate, that the object was at least 2 to 2.5 km high up in the sky.

I am also sending you "some" of the sightings of dates and shapes. I feel it is important to share with these with you.
Hi Brian, like you, I'm doing this to help other people cope with their experiences, that they are not alone on this. Most people are frightened about even, one sighting. Thus, I feel it my duty to help expose, that they do "not" need medical help or drink, and should not feel paranoid, but open about the subject. I have no problem in sharing these sightings with others, mainly because, they will be searching for answers of their experiences and know how alone they feel. The drawings sent to you are for you to digest, as these are some of the unbelievable sightings I have encountered (solid, transparent and pure light). Yes Brian, you may post the drawings and the article, as information "helps" confirm other people's sightings.

Hi Brian, like you, I'm doing this to help other people cope with their experiences, that they are not alone on this. Most people are frightened about even, one sighting. Thus, I feel it my duty to help expose, that they do "not" need medical help or drink, and should not feel paranoid, but open about the subject. I have no problem in sharing these sightings with others, mainly because, they will be searching for answers of their experiences and know how alone they feel. Me and a few friends were walking home at night, it was a clear sky, I don't even remember the moon being visible. To get home I have to walk around a sandpit. As we approached the sand pit my friend noticed a flash of light, and we all looked up. I started running towards it, it was right above the trees. I was looking up at the trail of light as it went away. It flew in the shape of a "J" and started to spiral down to the side. It was a metal ball and as it spiraled pink and green lights shot out of it. It made no noise at all and we watched it for two minutes until it went down into the trees.
I think it was about the size of a Beetle (the car). It was the most amazing thing I've ever seen. It's exactly a week later and I couldn't stop thinking about it so I went back to the same place, same time. I didn't see anything, but I found out that other friends of mine had been walking in the same area four days after the 8th and saw something in the sky they weren't sure if it was circular like the one we had seen. But they saw a flash of light and then pink and green lights.

Victoria, British Columbia Stationary Brilliant Light Above My Home

Location of Sighting: Directly above the house, seen through skylight above my bed. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Round white light, like a brilliant star, half the size of a full moon.
Full Description of event/sighting: I felt unable to fall asleep. A restless intense energy was what I felt. I rolled onto my back and (looking through my skylight) directly above the house was a large stationary brilliant light. It stayed stationary for about 5 seconds, then shot quickly in a southern direction, becoming the size of a normal star. It then zagged easterly completely disappearing. All this took 10 seconds from first seeing it until it vanished.. The same day at 8:30 pm. a transformer blew up in front of my house. Six days later Saturday July 30 at 7 pm. in the same vicinity, another huge explosion from another transformer blowing up occurred, apparently causing considerable damage and power outages around the city of Victoria.

No storms reported at the time of the first or second transformers blowing up. Weather here has been consistently clear throughout July.
On the 6 o'clock news Tuesday Aug. 2, it was noted that BC Hydro would be investigating the power outages. Immediately following that the next story began, 'Do you believe in UFOs?' Port Alberni had some video footage from Aug.1 around 4 pm., witnessed by a few people. You may have seen this news, it was repeated today at 6 pm. Channel.6 Global. The footage did not have any resemblance of what I saw. I'm 50 yrs. old and have not ever seen anything like this before.

London, Ontario Three White Lights In The Shape Of A Triangle

Last Wed. July 27 my friend Scott and I had finished our work out program at his house.
We live in a suburb of London Ontario called (name removed), I live at the very top of a hill called Look Out Court were I can see most of the city. Within a two minute walk from my house there are three huge communication towers at the top of our hill, and there are five or six with in 5 minute drives from here in the area.
It was about 12.35 pm when he was taking me home, and he pointed out something in the sky, it would have been less than a thousand feet of the ground traveling toward Aylmer, or North East. It had three whites lights in the shape of a triangle, one light on each axes, and an orangey light in the center. It was weird, we were looking at an angle so it would suggest at the side of the ship, however it appeared as if we were looking at in from bottom up.
It was moving slowly over the houses, we followed it as it was going toward the top of the hill and my street. As we pulled up to my court Scott was on his cell phone to his mother describing it, he tells me now that is cell phone was braking in and out.
We got out of the car in my court, there was no noise from this thing at all. When we got out of the car, the lights (craft) was between two towers but lower than there tops, just hovering. (Name removed) told his mother he was letting her go to snap a picture with his cell cam, at that point the thing simply vanished and (name removed) call to his mother was cut off. It did not crash and there was no sonic bang so I would imagine it was still up there, just with its lights off.
I called the police, whom said call the airport, when I did that they told me no pilots were known to be out this way but to call the RCMP at a number they gave me, when I did I got an officer in Toronto that didn't seem to know why I was calling him, but he recorded it anyway and said he would call authorities in London.
Now Almost a week later my friends tell me that they saw on the news that the police are telling people ( I assume cause more called in about it) that what they saw was some kind of blimp.
I did not see a blimp, and even if I did, it would have blinking lights, that wouldn't turn off, it would be higher, it would make some noise, and London Airport sure as hell would have known about it.
What did I see? Who made up this blimp sorry?....

HBCC UFO Research Note: (Keefer Lake sighting) I received a tiny report from the eyewitness, but when I read what the fellow wrote, I was really interested, more than interested I guess I would say. I have worked on a case just like this one and it was close to the same area in 2003. I called the gentleman straight away and gathered a little more information. As for the photos and footage, a close friend of the witness tried to send the footage to me but the format was not recognized by my computer. So the folks are re-doing the footage in a format that we can all view. So hopefully they will be able to get this worked out soon. This sighting is a excellent one.
Keefer Lake, (Near Cherryville) B.C. An Amazing UFO Event Caught On Film

Shape of objects: Long and cylindrical but split in the middle giving the appearance of two floating tanks.
Full Description of event/sighting: I have them on DVD video.
Re: our phone call, Getting the program to download and send the file has been a bit of a challenge, however when viewed frame by frame it becomes even more spectacular if not a bit eerie, ie: It appears to be two pulsing objects definitely separated in the center (hence the black stripe) and dark lights, or a shimmer effect seems to appear above each orb as these dark spots transfer from one orb to the other. As the dark spots transfer the orbs appear to alternate in size and get larger for a few frames before transferring back to other orb.
Additional Information:
Q. - What were the weather conditions at the time of the sighting ? Was it a windy day ? (I believe it was hot a clear, but just making sure).
A. - Clear and cloudless. Occasional slight breeze. The trees in the footage are still.
Q. - What is the closet major airport to your location where the objects were seen ? Also is their a small air strip close by ?
A. - Kelowna is a major airport 100 km from here and I am unaware of any other strips in the area.
Q. - What direction did the objects come from and headed off to ?
A. - They came from the north over Railroad Creek Valley, between Dome and Yeoward mountains, then turned due west before getting over the camp.
Q. - What would you estimate the distance to the objects were from your location?
A. - Straight line distance Approx. 2 to 3 miles.
Q. - Another guess question, roughly how high would you estimate the objects were in altitude ? Say where a small plane would fly, or a large jet ? Just a rough guess.
A. - 10 to 12,000 feet
Q. - As the objects moved across the sky, how long were you able to observe the entire event for ?
A. - 10 minutes altogether
Q. - Were you able to hear any sound at all, if so could you describe what you heard the best you can ?
A. - Dead silent
Q. - What color was the main body of the objects ? Were you able to observe any lights on the objects at all, if so what color were they and if there were, did they flash or blink off and on ?
A. - Mainly white or very shiny metallic, when viewed frame by frame you can see that the big object is actually two white tank like objects and you can see blue sky between the objects as it seems to pulse. There are two black spots that appear to alternate back and forth between the two objects. When the black spots appear above and below the object, the two objects seem to grow in size. During the time that the spots are on the individual tanks and the other one appears to shrink in size. You can see the black dots as they move back and forth.
Q. - Did the object at anytime move erratically or change direction, zig zag through the sky ? Basically did they move strangely ?
A. - They moved steadily and deliberately. There was no up and down movement. Each one was at a slightly different altitude and approach before veering to the west. The strange part was the silence of their passing and no contrails .

Winnipeg, Manitoba Classic Saucer Shaped Craft Hovering

To whom it may concern, on July 28/2005 at 7:10 p.m. a friend of mine and his ten year old daughter were standing in a lot on the corner of Henderson Highway and Hespeler when my friends little girl spotted something unusual in the sky and asked her father, my friend, what it was. We were all looking up at an object that looked like a star sitting underneath the clouds and was blinking. There seemed to be a bluish haze around this object as it sat blinking underneath the cloud cover. The blinking light then began moving in a northeasterly direction towards a jets vapour trail in the sky where it then sat blinking. As this sat blinking under the clouds another blinking light popped out of the clouds where we originally spotted the first one blinking.
The blinking light then began moving towards the other blinking light in the northeasterly part of the sky. When they were side by side they flew into the clouds. The rest of this story is something out of the twigh light zone. As we turned to exit the lot, scared, something shot out of the sky at a phenomenal rate of speed and stopped on a dime behind some trees. It began gliding to the right behind the trees. I knew what I was looking at the moment I saw the silhouette of this craft gliding behind the trees, it was the classic saucer shape. Could not and still cannot believe this actually happened. The craft glided to the right until it came into an opening in the trees above some houses where it hovered with me still pointing right at it, I had caught it in my peripheral vision as it dropped from the sky at an unbelievable rate of speed. I caught a back blur when the thing dropped from the sky and stopped on a dime behind the trees.
This saucer shaped craft hovered above these houses and then began to emit a very bright light that seemed to be brighter than the sun and then seemed to be gone in a brilliant flash of light. I could not, nor could my friend hear or see the traffic moving beside us when this light lit up the area. We approximate that this thing hovered about a hundred fifty feet away from us and lit up like the sun, if not brighter. We were in a state of shock and still are about this freakish occurrence. As we crossed the street to leave this lot the little girl was telling everybody on the street that she had just seen a UFO. As we climbed on our bikes to ride, I had the presence of mind to ask my friend what time it was. He replied that it was seven forty eight. We were in that parking lot for over thirty minutes and this incident could not have lasted more than five minutes from the time we were pointing at the blinking objects in the sky until the time one dropped from the sky and hid behind the trees.
I honestly think that this craft was trying to sneak up on us and if I had not caught it out of the corner of my eye and saw it drop behind the trees we may never have caught such a close-up view. I can draw what I saw and so could my witnesses. We seem to be missing about a half hour of time. I can assure you that what I have witnessed is true and will pass any polygraph/hypnosis test there is. I would put up my house as a challenge to anyone who can match it dollar for dollar to prove we are telling the truth. When you discover we are telling the truth prepare to ante up. My friend and his daughter are willing to undergo any type of test that may exist to prove what we saw is real. The scary thing here is, how can we three be the only ones to witness this craft come down and hover over some house on of the busiest intersections of a city with population over 600,000.
This is some pretty freaky stuff. We have not been feeling normal since this happened. If you wish to discuss this over the phone you may reach me on my cell at (removed by HBCC). I can assure you that as bizarre as this sounds, it happened and there is a little ten year old girl that is going to remember this for the rest of her life. This event in my life has made me question the existence of God. Maybe whomever/whatever dropped and hovered above the trees created us. I can assure you they were not from here. Our air force couldn't catch one these objects if they tried. Too damned fast. If you think I'm not nuts give me a call. I have two witnesses willing to undergo hypnosis besides myself to see if we can fill in the seemingly missing half hour and to prove what we saw. I will never forget what has been burned permanently into my mind. I remember the details of this experience like it just happened. I can't walk outside without always looking up at the sky expecting something to come out the sky. It's a very unnatural feeling and I hope that it goes away. I think that this is not the end of this, somehow I just know that.

This saucer shaped craft hovered above these houses and then began to emit a very bright light that seemed to be brighter than the sun and then seemed to be gone in a brilliant flash of light. I could not, nor could my friend hear or see the traffic moving beside us when this light lit up the area. We approximate that this thing hovered about a hundred fifty feet away from us and lit up like the sun, if not brighter. We were in a state of shock and still are about this freakish occurrence. As we crossed the street to leave this lot the little girl was telling everybody on the street that she had just seen a UFO. As we climbed on our bikes to ride, I had the presence of mind to ask my friend what time it was. He replied that it was seven forty eight. We were in that parking lot for over thirty minutes and this incident could not have lasted more than five minutes from the time we were pointing at the blinking objects in the sky until the time one dropped from the sky and hid behind the trees.
I honestly think that this craft was trying to sneak up on us and if I had not caught it out of the corner of my eye and saw it drop behind the trees we may never have caught such a close-up view. I can draw what I saw and so could my witnesses. We seem to be missing about a half hour of time. I can assure you that what I have witnessed is true and will pass any polygraph/hypnosis test there is. I would put up my house as a challenge to anyone who can match it dollar for dollar to prove we are telling the truth. When you discover we are telling the truth prepare to ante up. My friend and his daughter are willing to undergo any type of test that may exist to prove what we saw is real. The scary thing here is, how can we three be the only ones to witness this craft come down and hover over some house on of the busiest intersections of a city with population over 600,000.
This is some pretty freaky stuff. We have not been feeling normal since this happened. If you wish to discuss this over the phone you may reach me on my cell at (removed by HBCC). I can assure you that as bizarre as this sounds, it happened and there is a little ten year old girl that is going to remember this for the rest of her life. This event in my life has made me question the existence of God. Maybe whomever/whatever dropped and hovered above the trees created us. I can assure you they were not from here. Our air force couldn't catch one these objects if they tried. Too damned fast. If you think I'm not nuts give me a call. I have two witnesses willing to undergo hypnosis besides myself to see if we can fill in the seemingly missing half hour and to prove what we saw. I will never forget what has been burned permanently into my mind. I remember the details of this experience like it just happened. I can't walk outside without always looking up at the sky expecting something to come out the sky. It's a very unnatural feeling and I hope that it goes away. I think that this is not the end of this, somehow I just know that.

Fenelon Falls, Ontario Bright Light Turns Red & Fades Away

Message: UFO sighting: My family and I are from England, and we were on holiday visiting relatives in Canada. We were staying at my nana & granddad's cottage on an island in Fenelon Falls. It was about 23:30 on Tuesday 12th July when me and my boyfriend were down at the dock, the rest of my family were up at the camp fire at the side of the cottage. It was a clear night and I was just chatting to my boyfriend.
He noticed a light in the sky and said "what's that? I glanced up and said "Oh it's a plane", but he said " no its not, there are no flashing lights that a plane would have". The light was really bright, brighter than any other stars in the sky. Also it was traveling really, really quickly across the sky. And zig zagging through the sky as it traveled, unlike a plane or a satellite. Then it stayed in the same position, it's lights started to fade, then turned red and then it just faded until it had totally disappeared out of the sky.
Also that night about 5-10 minutes later there was a big circular flash of light in the sky in the same area of the sky where we saw the UFO, it was literally there for a second, if you had blinked you would have missed it. I don't know whether they had anything to do with each other, but it was really exciting to see. That was mine and my boyfriend's first and only experience of a UFO.
I spoke to my granddad about it that night and he has seen the same exact thing over the cottage before.

Full Description of event/sighting: First of all I never would had told anyone else besides my wife if I had not read about a sighting in the area happening on the same morning. The article was from The Morning Star local (Vernon B.C.) news paper, page A12 August 12, 2005.
I just so happen to be wide awake at 3:00 a.m. and I decided to take a walk down the road I live on (country road). I quite enjoy watching the dawn begin to roll in. The time that I seen the object was around 4:00 to 4:30am. Prior to the moment I was thinking that some thing was observing me. Then at that moment, I seen a bright light from the top right corner of my eye, my first thought someone shot a flair gun, so I looked around only at ground level first, to see who shot the flair, then I looked up expecting to see the flair because the light had been dangling still above me while I searched the ground for whom ever.
Anyhow when I looked up, I immediately realized that the object was not a flair, it was quite clear without any confusion what It was. Because I was so sure of what I was seeing, and also extremely sure that what I was seeing was seeing me, I acted very calm and casual. I acted like, I see them every day, and that it was no big deal. I assumed it was the best way to handle the situation, they were staring right at me. It was also to let whom ever was observing me from a bright light above me know I that I am open minded to new ideas and also I'm not hostile.
It may sound silly but that is actually how I handled myself under pressure. After 10-30 seconds of this thing watching me and me watching it, during which time I became a full on believer, I waved big and friendly. The object instantly disappeared like it cloaked it's self. The reason I say cloak is because I could still feel it's presents. The last sentence I do not state as factual, I do agree it is possible to imagine that I felt the object presents after it vanished. I stared up in the sky to see if I can see it "uncloak" or anything. While doing so I saw the object, or one like start to appear, but disappeared quickly. It did not get as bright as before.
The shape of the object was like a can of soda, with something almost cone like wide end up on the top. The cone part did not have any light to it just the can shaped part.
Now the really strange part. I want to write separately from the statement above because the above statement with out any doubt I believe to be true and for the next part I am about to write well I don't expect anyone else to believe. Well here it is and I am having a hard time letting anyone know. This is that there may had some telepathy going on between the object and me. There I said it, and that is all I am going to say about that on the world wide web. East Edmonton, Alberta Formation Of Lights, Some Looping

Full Description of event/sighting: I have been a little reluctant to report this as I made my first report ever, 2 weeks prior to this one, and I didn't want people to think that I was picking things out of the sky to see, but changed my mind as I think it's important to do*****ent. I have been sky watching nightly for 1 to 1.5 hours every night weather permitting for years, without seeing anything other than the normal satellites, occasional meteors, planes, etc. It was 11:45 when I was watching the sky to the east of Edmonton, didn't see anything exciting, and pulled my binoculars up to look through. I immediately caught sight of 5 brightly lit objects (white) traveling from east to west. They were in formation with 3 side by side and 2 above and slightly offset from each other. They stayed that way for only a second traveling at a great speed as it was hard to keep up using my binos. I thought it was a plane with its lights on, when the 2 objects above looped down and around the other 3 in a circular motion while maintaining its speed.
Then the other 3 moved in the same way around the other 2, and I lost sight of them as my building was in the way. The speed was greater than the military jets that occasionally fly over and the movement was unlike anything I have ever seen. I was so excited I tried to call my friend, but my phone died, so I jumped in my truck and drove over and woke her up to tell her. Which by the way she wasn't to impressed as she just went to bed. The whole sighting lasted maybe 5 seconds.
There are definitely some strange events happening in the skies over Edmonton.

North Vancouver, British Columbia Unknown Colored Objects

Location of Sighting: Vancouver, North Shore Mountains, west end - ocean. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 3 Shape of objects: orb/circular.
Full Description of event/sighting: I have been noticing this similar occurrence often recently as it gets dark in Vancouver.
The first time I was at my friend's house - house-sitting while she was away. I noticed an orb over the North Shore Mountains - over North Vancouver. I looked to my left towards Burnaby - east - and noticed another one at about the same height in the sky. At first I thought they were planets because of how large they were, they could actually be seen in the night sky - we don't see alot of stars in Vancouver due to the city lights - and the objects were changing colors and flickering.
I looked west out over the West End of Vancouver and saw another one - same height in the sky - in a triangle formation - an equilateral triangle. Same orb shape and changing colors from white to red to blue to green and continuing.
I watched them for quite sometime...they didn't move, just hung in the sky...and I realized they were too low in the sky to be stars or planets. I went inside to get something to drink, came back out and the one over by the mountains was gone. But the one to the east and west were still there. Hovering. Eventually I went inside.
I have seen them frequently in almost the same location pretty much anytime I look in those directions from my friend's balcony at night. Not always 3 but a combination. I can't see them from my house because there is too much interference from the cityscape although I did notice the one that takes up residence over the North shore mountains last night.
I have seen many UFOs in Vancouver and elsewhere in Canada since I was a young child. Some very vivid and odd experiences. I just thought I would relate this story and see if any other Vancouverites have also noticed these orbs that seem to watching or monitoring Vancouver night after night.

Toronto, Ontario Three Objects In The Sky

Date: July 29, 2005 Time: Approx: 4:00 to 4:45 p.m.
I saw something weird in the sky on the 29th of July, Carabanna Parade Day. There were three objects in the sky over Toronto downtown in broad daylight, (time 4:00 to 4:45pm possibly earlier).
I was going to l&m's to pay a bill and saw first a boy on his bike stopped sideways on the sidewalk staring at the sky. I asked him what he was looking at and he said " what the hell are those." I looked up and there were three things in the sky. At first I thought that they were parachute canopy's or maybe balloons released from the parade but they were not moving like either would. I pointed these objects out to people on the street who looked and shrugged their shoulders and walked on.
I got on the bus and rode up Ossington from Dundas to Ossington station and looked again, thinking if they were something explainable they would be gone by then but they were still there. They were in triangle formation then moved to form a straight line that resembled the belt of Orion in the fall sky. They then reformed into a triangle and began to slowly drift south. I showed the objects to two employees from l&m's and they watched them for at least five minutes. I am looking for confirmation from anybody who saw this phenomenon.

Battleford, Saskatchewan Orange Colored Light

We are 45 minutes west of the Battleford, going for a walk with my 3 children, at 10:40 we saw a bright light in the south eastern sky, not low, it looked like a porch light, that was how bright it was. Then it dimmed out, we could still see an orange shape and we lost it because my child dropped the flashlight on the ground and the batteries fell out. It was during the month of July, don't know what day.

Bella Vista Hillside, South Of Vernon, BC Oblong Shaped Craft

Full Description of event/sighting: Not to sure what I saw, but it was interesting. I was heading east on 25th street to town and noticed out to my left above Bella Vista Hillside or winery area, an object about 2000' AGL. It looked as if it was perfectly stationary, but as I drove along I noticed it was moving slowly heading west. The strange thing was that it moved to slow for an airplane and it did not resemble a helicopter at all and it's movement were as if it were on tracks in a straight line following the peak of the hillside, it did not deviate in altitude any minute amount, nor did it seem to float around as if it were an aircraft. Due to my location, I lost sight of the object as I continued down the street. It was oblong in shape with sharp corners, couldn't get a good view while driving. Really not sure what it was but perhaps someone else saw something and can tell me what they saw or think it was. Thanks.

Full Description of event/sighting: Not to sure what I saw, but it was interesting. I was heading east on 25th street to town and noticed out to my left above Bella Vista Hillside or winery area, an object about 2000' AGL. It looked as if it was perfectly stationary, but as I drove along I noticed it was moving slowly heading west. The strange thing was that it moved to slow for an airplane and it did not resemble a helicopter at all and it's movement were as if it were on tracks in a straight line following the peak of the hillside, it did not deviate in altitude any minute amount, nor did it seem to float around as if it were an aircraft. Due to my location, I lost sight of the object as I continued down the street. It was oblong in shape with sharp corners, couldn't get a good view while driving. Really not sure what it was but perhaps someone else saw something and can tell me what they saw or think it was. Thanks.

New Westminster, British Columbia A Flying V Shaped Craft (Diagram)

Location of Sighting: New Westminster, BC. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: V.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was laying on a table looking up at the stars admiring them. I was in the south-western portion of New Westminster at a school, and these lights appear and there is no sound. They look like lights along the inside edges of an indentation of a flying V. But are very low to city. It was to my left and heading towards Port Moody. It struck me as so odd that I wrote it down on a piece of paper and drew what it looked like. I might not have the piece of paper still, but I remember things pretty well, maybe not the exact time or date, but pretty close. I remember things by seeing them.

Here is a rough drawing of what I saw, I don't recall any colors, I think it was mainly grey, size was in between a large plane (747) and a smaller 6 passenger plane. I remember later reading about a sighting of a UFO in Port Moody or around the Burrard Inlet that same night, or the next day or so. I think it was in one of those free daily newspapers, like 24hour or so.
The only reason I remembered the date is because I was going to the fireworks, going to meet someone on my way down there, but they decided not to go, so I turned back and just wanted to lay and look at the stars for a bit. I was pretty freaked out by what I saw.
Its interesting, the reason I came across your site was because I was searching for a place for sale in Seton Portage (my dad lives there), and there was a sighting on your website that described seeing something in Seton Portage.
I have been meaning to track down someone who I could tell my story to, and came across your site by accident yesterday!

Tim Martindale's Sasquatch Sighting Outside Of Merritt British Columbia

HBCC UFO Research done a interview with Mr. Tim Martindale this evening, June 4, 2005 over a Sasquatch sighting he had. The gentleman was a complete pleasure to talk with and what he saw that day certainly was unforgettable. Matter of fact he soon after started investigating sightings of this animal around his area and to date has received a stack of reports.
The CTV news also went up to visit with him and did a interview for the news hour. Tim also has been active in writing articles for different newspapers which has brought more eyewitnesses to Sasquatch sightings rolling into him. Tim is serious at what he does and looks forward to hearing and investigating these reports of the Sasquatch.
Tim will be sending along some material for me to post, also I will be posting a link to his blog where he is working on adding many of the reports he has received. As soon as I receive the information I will post it straight away.
I would like to extend my many thanks to Mr. Tim Martindale for taking the time to speak about what he witnessed.

Full Description of event/sighting: Just looking at the sky admiring the stars and I saw this light in the sky at a very high altitude that started to get brighter, brighter than the brightest star in the sky. Scarborough, Ontario Oblong With A Red Light Behind The Object

Hi Brian, I caught this one at work in Scarborough on break at 3:10-3:15 pm. I manage to snap a photo of the object seen at a high altitude in a westerly direction of my position. Due to the direct sunlight, I blocked the rays with my hand. You will see the object that appears oblong, with a red light from behind the object. You can also see a round white object, 90 degrees ahead of the oblong object. Can you justify what this object could be? I'm starting to loose count of these very high distant flying objects seen when the skies are very clear.
I'm keeping very patient for a closer object photo opportunity with camera at hand. I find the recent report over Toronto on June 1, 2005 interesting, not to mention all the happenings reported in Southern Ontario this year. I have a friend in Georgetown, who has also seen the two different objects at night similar as reported in Georgetown in the month of April, 2005. One small bright ball flying low (500 feet approx.), and a much larger dark craft higher up. This person witnessed this earlier this year, end of January 2005. Maybe I can get this person to contact you, as there has been crop circles on the property.

Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario Bright Light Moving Around A Star

Full Description of event/sighting: I was outside and the moon nearly brightened out all the stars. I was looking south west and I thought I saw a satellite or an airplane, common because I was near an airport and I see this often. But this was no airplane, meteorite or weather balloon. Moving in a arc around a star, that I will never forget was a bright light. Moving fast, then it went really bright, like a flashlight turning super bright in your eyes, it was blue. It was a burst of light, not like a firework explosion of brightness but a quick brightness. I was standing on my porch and felt very alone. I went inside to tell my father but I don't think he believed me. I have no idea what it was, but I am researching to figure out which star it was arcing over.

Northern Scarborough,Ontario Single Round White Object

On June 20,2005 at 12:25 p.m. over Northern Scarborough, Ontario. At work, on lunch, I watched a single round white object, moving from the northwest, very slowly at about 3-5000 feet would be a guess. This object observed with the naked eye had a slight light field around it. From arm's length, to the thumb, no bigger than a pea. The object was moving very slowly over the sky at about 2-3 miles north away from my position. After again in awe, viewing the object for two minutes in the rich blue sky.
This would be the time to take some pictures. So snapping 10 pictures in about 5-8 minutes as using the building as a marker, I became very excited of capturing this closer white object, with it's projecting light field around this object. After exhausting the camera of the last 10 high resolution snaps, I continued to view this very slow, weird moving object. While almost 15 minutes into this, a courier was parked in front of the dock. So I asked the gentleman."Do you want to see a UFO sir", why he asked,"do you see one". I replied right over there as he got out of his van. I focused back on the object, after no more than 30 seconds, gone!!!!
Do I feel stupid, because the witness never saw this object? Absolutely not, because of the 10 pictures that I had taken of this white noticeable object. The man must of thought I was nuts, because at that point, I could not even point it out to him. I know though, I had my pictures as proof and the excitement to download them on the computer. Here comes the real awe, Brian. After viewing each of the 10 pictures, there was indeed no object photographed in any of the 10 pictures. How can you take 10 pictures directly at an object, using the building as a marker and come up empty. To tell you the truth, I am more in "shock", that there is no object filmed in any of the photographs, than that of the actual sighting itself. Now, I'm shaking my head, why did the object not come out on any of the photographs?? I am very curious, what is the explanation of this.

Magnetawan, Ontario Another Unusual Happening In Magnetawan

Last summer, we were just sitting around our cabin on a Sunday afternoon,getting ready to go home to Barrie. My cousin and his wife were going to stop in before they left. They also live in Barrie. We heard their vehicle pull in.We waited for a second or two. No sound of doors closing. I called my husband to the window, where he seen the vehicle too. It's a tan colored van. This is a narrow dirt road that ends at the lake. We watched for a minute and the van slowly backed out and went back out the road.
About half an hour later, they pulled back in. We asked them if they forgot something. They said they never came down the road earlier. My Uncle lives at the first of the road and any vehicle would have had to pass his place, in or out. My cousin had been working in the yard there all afternoon and he said no vehicle came in any direction at that time. I don't know what we are dealing with here but every time lately things are getting crazier. I will send more on the happenings up there.

Vernon, British Columbia Star Light Object

Clear night.
Hi Brian, Last night a star like object appeared low in the western sky and flew east over Vernon downtown. It was no higher than the small planes fly when they fly out of our airport. This star light object was flying about the same speed as the small aircraft do. There was no sound when it flew over my home. I am out every night to see another of these globes. I have sighted one a night since my last report of the bright light. They start as the size of satellites, then increase to a star size and look like moving stars, and then they suddenly burst into a pure white and very bright light. It looks like Venus does in the skies lately.
I will be out tonight and even though the clouds are moving in, the other night one of the star like objects was at cloud level and brightened before it went into the next cloud. Take care.

HBCC UFO Research Note: The below audio report I just received Sunday evening, May 15, 2005. The report is a very unusual one, due to nothing being seen to one part of the story. But whatever it was, seemed to drop out of a tree, or "maybe" from the sky as it rattled a tree and a sound was heard, but nothing was witnessed. Also whatever it was that fell from the tree or above, shook the park where the witnesses were at the time. Also a number of other folks have seen some strange things in the same area, including a Fish and Wildlife Officer, he saw a incandescent blue light which originated around a body of water, plus other also have witnessed this light. I am asked the gentleman who contacted me if he can pass my contact information along to the others who have seen these strange events, in hopes they will contact me.

South-East Of Verona, Ontario An Elongated Craft Emerges From Brilliant Light

Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Full Description of event/sighting: We live far away from city lights, so I can often be found outside on a clear night looking at the stars. I was doing just that on Sunday, May 15, 2005 at 10:40 p.m. when I noticed what appeared to be a satellite moving north to south.
As I watched it I couldn't help thinking that something wasn't quite right. The object was a little too large for a satellite, and it was moving a little too slowly. It even appeared to alter course slightly from south to south-south-east, but I discounted this as overactive imagination.. I watched it cruise out of sight over the tree tops, and was then distracted by some young raccoons chattering somewhere in the woods, so I went to investigate.
A minute later I returned, and for no good reason turned my eyes to the south-east, near where the object had disappeared. Just above the tree tops was a similar object - I can't say it was the same object, because I had lost sight of it for a while, but it was the same size and shape (spherical). It was also a bit brighter than before.
What happened next completely floored me. Suddenly the object became brilliantly white, and the circle of light started to expand, rapidly! The effect was of something rushing toward me, and I almost moved out of instinct, but nothing could move that quickly. At the peak of its expansion it appeared to virtually boil, like a white hot chemical explosion.
As quickly as this began, it reversed, and the light decayed smoothly back to a point, and then disappeared. The entire sequence from "ignition" to "shutdown" took no more than 2 or 3 seconds.
As the light decayed a craft emerged from the brilliance as if shot from a canon, and smoothly ascended up to the heavens. I watched with my jaw hanging open until it grew too small to see, a process that took perhaps 15 seconds. It did not accelerate, it did not slow, it did not turn.
The craft ejected from the ball of light was elongated, about 4 times as long as it was wide. It didn't give the impression of being cylindrical - the appearance was more that of a quartz crystal. It had a slightly reddish, rusty hue. There was no sign of wings, no sign of propulsion, no lights. The craft was illuminated only by the sun over the horizon.
I'm a mechanical engineer by trade, so I'm pretty current when it comes to man-made technology. I thought to myself that I might have seen a rocket staging, but that wouldn't fit, because there was no engine glow from the ascending craft, and where would a multi-stage rocket come from here in southern Ontario? I also tried out the idea of a fighter jet hitting the afterburners, but the craft had no wings.
I have no idea what I witnessed, and I have no explanation, so I'm reporting it to you. Have you ever received a report of anything similar, or for that matter a report of the same incident from another observer? I'll keep a watch on your web site to see if anything similar comes up.

Nelson, British Columbia Black Triangle

Date: May 18, 2005 Time: Just after midnight.
The night was very cloudy but there were a number of large clear patches. I was driving south towards Nelson on Highway 3A and noticed in one of the clear patches a triangular shaped craft (lights) sailing slowly along. The object was traveling towards the south west. I thought it was odd looking, so I quickly pulled the truck over to the side of the road and watched. I saw four lights on it, three amber colored lights showing a triangular shape, or three points of light on each tip. The fourth light, red in color seemed to be directly in the center. None of the lights were flashing at anytime. I heard no sound as the craft sailed slowly overhead. I was able to watch it for approx: eight seconds before I lost sight of it because the object moved into another cloud bank. It was a eerie sight and to be honest I felt kind of frightened. Whatever it was had to have been huge, I couldn't even begin to guess at it's size.

Full Description of event/sighting: My wife and I were sitting on the deck outside facing eastwards when I noticed a concentrated bright white light in the sky. It seemed to be pretty high up and was stationery. At first I thought it could be a plane but there was no noise at all (plus no movement). I then thought maybe a helicopter hovering (as there are a few police helicopters that circle around every now and then) but again no noise and the police usually have beam lights that show a trail of light, plus it seemed way too high).
I then pointed the light out to my wife and we looked at it for about 15-20 seconds when suddenly the light just went out.
I then got up and stood around for 10 minutes to see if I could see anything else but all I could see were faint stars through the cloud (which wasn't very heavy).

Full Description of event/sighting: It was about 9:15, myself and two friends were fishing when my friend looked up in the sky and saw a green light going in circles. We all watched it and about 5 minutes later there was three large triangular shaped (crafts), things in the center of the circling light. We thought we were going crazy so we stopped a cop and asked him what they were, and he said there not spot lights, because you would be able to see the light ray. The police took off with his lights on. We went home and laid on the trampoline and watched it after a while. We could see what looked like waves go through the sky but they were thin, so we knew it was not lightning. Then my friend got his parents to look and they could not explain it either so, we went inside and went to bed.

Port Moody, British Columbia Cluster Of Objects Over Heritage Mountain

Not to much new around here, have seen a few objects on Kat Kam usually on the last frame for the day but unable to determine just what they are. About ten minutes ago I saw a small plane flying east over near Heritage Mountain. Took a quick peak through my binoculars and determined it was a small Sea Plane, but was surprised to see what looked like a cluster of large balloons at about the same altitude only closer to the mountain. The balloons if that is what they were appeared to be larger than the plane.
The balloons were laid out in the above pattern, only closer to the horizontal, if the outlying balloons were approx:. six feet in diameter then the main ones at the bottom of the V would have been approx:. twelve feet in diameter and the two immediately above them approx:. four feet. After the plane went by the balloons appeared to be moving slowly south. I watched for a minute or two and then grabbed my video camera. During the minute or so it took me to find a tape and insert it. They balloons appeared to reverse direction as I had a heck of a time finding them in the viewfinder of the camera. I did managed to get a minute or two of video and then decided to try to get a closer look through my spotting scope. That again took a minute or two to get out and during that time they all disappeared.
I scanned the whole area with both pairs of binoculars but was unable to locate them. If they were balloons (which is what they appeared to be.) I just don't understand how they could move fast enough to just vanish like that. The outlying ones appeared to be a three of a dark blue and the one in the middle of the formation appeared to be a dark red. The sun had just set but it was still quite light. The big main ones appeared to be black also the smaller ones appeared to be black. They were probably about six or seven thousand feet when I lost sight of them.

Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, Tonight I was sitting outside my place, with my two dogs, and at 11:15 p.m. I witnessed a white object, same kind you witnessed with us in Kitwanga, flying from westerly direction into a east north east direction. It was pretty easy to spot and I would estimate that the object was +- 2000 meters up. Anyway, I used the often described lighter thing and after 30 seconds the object became very hard to spot, because it decreased it's lights considerably to the point that one could only vaguely spot it's round shape.
I thought this would be the end of my " UFO experience" for the night, but this was not the case. Suddenly there appeared a huge light, again looking in westerly direction. Above me. The object, a white disk of brilliant white light, was only in between 50 to 70 meters away from my location. I would estimate it's size at +- 20 meters in width. The object remained stationary for 4 to 5 seconds and disappeared on the spot. like
