Today the Kelowna Capital News ran an article in today's newspaper and phone calls have come in and some emails from more eyewitnesses to the objects and loud sound heard, or some over the sound. So have to get some of the reports typed up as I mentioned the reports came in by way of phone calls.
Also I may have found a connection between the Trail B.C. and Kelowna UFO sightings, this was due to a good military source.

Between Summerland And Peachland, B.C. A Fast Large Streaking Object

Date: July 1, 2007 Time: Approx: 2:00 p.m.
Message: Brian. Well I got another one for you. This was an extremely quick incident so you may want to take it for what it's worth. I was driving home from Penticton tonight at about 2:00 a.m. I was between Summerland and Peachland when I saw something streak across the sky and an ungodly rate of speed. Now I know what you think of when I first read this. "meteorite" But the only thing that catches my interest is that there was no trail behind the object, and it was about the size of a road lamp, but I knew it was very far away. So this object had to have been absolutely huge to be as far away as it seemed and as big as it seemed. (Getting chills as I type this) Now I only saw it for about 2-3 seconds as it raced across the sky so it might have been my eyes playing a trick on me, however, it looked as solid as the hot dog I'm eating right now, which leads me to believe that this is a viable sighting. Anyways, like I said, take it for what it's worth.

Sidney, British Columbia Pilot Observes Objects From Ground Level

Location of Sighting: Overhead Sidney, B.C. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 2 Shape of objects: Circular.
Full Description of event/sighting: Sitting in a chair enjoying the parade down Beacon avenue in Sidney, I happened to look directly up and noticed two very bright objects that appeared to be stationary in the sky. Being a pilot I was somewhat intrigued by this, as these objects were so bright in an already bright sky and that they did not look to be airplanes. There was some cirrus cloud coming in from the west and according to the forecast at Victoria Airport for 11:00 Hrs the cirrus was at 12,000 feet ASL. I then saw a commercial jet approaching above the thin cirrus, this jet went beneath the east most object which gave me some perspective. I would guess that the cirrus cloud was more like 20,000 feet plus and these objects were at 30 plus but it is so difficult to be accurate. Now some will think weather baloon, perhaps, but how big would it have to be, and most of all, if it were so big as to be seen from such a distance, then why two together. After about 6 minutes they were obscured from view as more cirrus cloud blew in and these objects did move to the south east. I had the fellow next to me look up at this, but not being a pilot or for that matter interested he just said slow flying aircraft. Not !

Northeast Of Calgary, Alberta A Faint Star-Like Object

Date: July 2, 2007 Time: Approx: 1:15 a.m.
Hi Brian, I still had too much adrenaline in my system after the White Stripes concert tonight, so I thought I would do some star gazing. Since my initial sighting, I have done some star gazing on a few occasions, and although I have spotted a few objects in the sky, I suspect these were simply airplanes as they were not traveling especially fast and they were low in the southern horizon, traveling east (I.E. based on direction, speed and trajectory, these were likely planes landing at the Saskatoon airport). Tonight however, after watching the sky for maybe 20 minutes or so, at approx 1:15a.m. I spotted a very faint star-like object directly overhead. It was moving very fast, heading south/south-west (from my location and perspective, it appeared to be heading just to the right of the almost-full moon). I tracked the object for about 20-30 seconds, until it was about 30-40 degrees above the southern horizon, and then lost sight of the object as the light radiating from the moon obscured my vision at this point. I watched the sky for approx. 10 more minutes as I hoped to spot the object again; however, the mosquitoes were becoming unbearable by this time and so I gave up and came inside.

Westbank, British Columbia Two UFOs - One Hits The Lake (Map)

HBCC UFO Research Note: This is a very interesting report, and since reports have been coming from the entire area I was wondering if other people who may have been witness to the objects, and sound would you please file a report on the event to HBCC UFO Research.
Message: Ok I don't know what happened last night but It was the most frightening, incredible, and down right terrifying thing I have ever seen! Ok, so I was walking my dog along the Beach in Westbank, BC and Minding my own business at close to 11:00 PM on the 2nd of July (yesterday) and I seen this really really, really big bright thingy that looked something like a, well, I don't know, but it didn't fit the usual description of a UFO round thing, it looked somewhat like a Torpedo or something with wings, kind of like a fighter jet, screaming across the sky and downwards on fire. It crashed into the lake and it was a big splash, almost like a large, large plane!
The sound was incredibly loud and like a deep bass "womp womp womp" sound as it came down. I ducked for cover thinking of a meteor or asteroid or something. I started to freak out and yell and as I was standing up, something came literally shooting back out of the water and I saw it start to hurtle towards a different looking object very high in the sky, which kind of looked like a cone of some sort. I saw what looked like what you would see in a star wars movie for the bullets of the blaster kind of things coming from the object that just was in the lake and I heard a loud bang that knocked me off my feet and I looked up to see what the heck was going on and the cone shaped object was gone and the torpedo thing was just hovering. Moving from side to side almost confused and then a loud sonic boom and it was gone. People came running out to me as I screamed loudly and people asked me what happened. What was I going to say, I just saw two UFOs? Not likely. What the heck could have this been?

3rd Question: at no time did it cross my mind "Is there an airplane anywhere?"
I don't know really if anyone I know saw it because I'm kind of skeptical to say anything.

Maple Ridge, British Columbia Numerous Objects (Photos)

Date: July 2, 2007 Time: Approx: 7:00 p.m.
I am very excited about this..At roughly 7:00 pm pacific time My daughter and I were in her backyard. She lives in a house in a park with baseball diamonds there. She is the caretaker. We saw what looked like a glowing orb behind trees in the sky. It was moving slowly. About a half hour later people were looking up and asking me what are those. I looked up an lo and behold around 20 craft were directly above us. The hovered there for about 10 minutes. Looking at them through binoculars you could see beams of light emitting from them different colors. They were moving slowly and going from side to side. It was witnessed by 30 or more people. We started snapping pictures as fast as we could. Then they left at high speed east. Very exciting. This was in Maple Ridge B.C. near Vancouver.

Kelowna, B. C. Two UFOs - More Eyewitness To Major Sighting (Diagram)

Date: July 2, 2007 Time: Approx: 10:45 p.m.
Hey Brian, Ok, so like I said I would I've been watching the skies. Not last night but the night before, I saw something out of this world (no pun intended). It was about 10:45ish at night and I saw two object in the sky just hovering. They weren't doing much, but something new with most sightings, they were different shaped objects. One was thin and longish, and the other was like a Triangular shape. They kept hovering there, so I got up quickly to run and grab my camera but the next thing I know I hear a smallest bang, almost like a gun, and the longish one starts to hurtle towards earth on fire making a deep sound. kind of like a nuclear generator bass kind of sound. I'm thinking to myself what the hell!
I watched the object and it disappeared at low altitude behind a smallish hill between my neighborhood and the lake. I look up and I see the triangular object make a small circle, come a little lower and then I see it start to hurdle towards the sky at a fast rate, and the longish one reappears from behind the hill no more fire, and ascending at break neck speed and when it gets a little higher, I saw it literally shoot something at the other object and then a very loud bang and the triangular one was no longer visible. The longish one started to what looked like search the sky. It was going north, then south, then east and west, Very quickly, almost like a hummingbird when it goes side to side. Then the object disappeared and I suppose it's departure broke the sound barrier immediately because I heard that sonic boom when the barrier is broken. Anyways, like I said. This seems ludicrous, and after my many years of watching the skies, I finally saw what seemed like two E.T.s duking it out. The thing I find interesting about this sighting though, is that the objects were not glowing eerily like most UFO sightings refer to. It makes the sighting almost that much more "real" if you know what I mean.

West Over Whitby, Ontario A Very Fast Round White Ball Of Light

Date: July 5, 2007 Time: Approx: 7:02 p.m.
Hi Brian, hope you are keeping well. I have just witnessed something out of the norm in the sky minutes ago. At home, at approx: 7:02pm. I came outside facing west on our deck. While standing, I looked up and witnessed a very fast round ball of a bright white light. The speed would be two - three times more than a commercial jet. The size in scale, looked definitely not a conventional aircraft-small. The altitude would be a guess, between 8-15,000 feet. It traveled coming from the west over Whitby, moving directly towards overhead. I watched it in the rich clear sky for about 5-7 seconds and then looked down to the ground. I grabbed my camera out of my bag and within 10 seconds, looked directly up again and lost sight of it. So I snapped a couple of pictures anyway without seeing the object.
I then instantly wondered, where did you go ? Even with the intensity of white light that I witnessed. I figured I would still see it. I was really surprised I lost sight of it. I than ran down the backyard and looked towards the east-pure blue sky. Again looking east, I remained astonished that nothing more could be seen of this thing. I also wondered by it's speed, and how maybe within 30-40 seconds max. So maybe it did disappear, giving I could no longer see it on it's given flight path. Real weird experience encountered here. Thanks for your time and an open ear on this. We'll be watching with camera in the hand for now on this Summer 2007. Enjoy your Summer in good health friend. Hi Brian, hope you are keeping well. I have just witnessed something out of the norm in the sky minutes ago. At home, at approx: 7:02pm. I came outside facing west on our deck. While standing, I looked up and witnessed a very fast round ball of a bright white light. The speed would be two - three times more than a commercial jet. The size in scale, looked definitely not a conventional aircraft-small. The altitude would be a guess, between 8-15,000 feet. It traveled coming from the west over Whitby, moving directly towards overhead. I watched it in the rich clear sky for about 5-7 seconds and then looked down to the ground. I grabbed my camera out of my bag and within 10 seconds, looked directly up again and lost sight of it. So I snapped a couple of pictures anyway without seeing the object.
I then instantly wondered, where did you go ? Even with the intensity of white light that I witnessed. I figured I would still see it. I was really surprised I lost sight of it. I than ran down the backyard and looked towards the east-pure blue sky. Again looking east, I remained astonished that nothing more could be seen of this thing. I also wondered by it's speed, and how maybe within 30-40 seconds max. So maybe it did disappear, giving I could no longer see it on it's given flight path. Real weird experience encountered here. Thanks for your time and an open ear on this. We'll be watching with camera in the hand for now on this Summer 2007. Enjoy your Summer in good health friend. Did you see an unidentified flying object touch down on Okanagan Lake Monday evening?
Well, apparently at least three of your neighbours did and they all managed to track down preeminent B.C. UFO researcher Brian Vike to report the phenomenon.
Late Monday evening Vike started receiving reports of an unidentifiable fireball hovering over the lake.
“Everything seemed to look good and usually you can tell if it’s a hoax or not,” said Vike, who was furiously contacting local media for help by Tuesday morning.
Kelowna has been a hot spot for Vike who operates a UFO research organization, HBCC UFO Research, out of his home in Houston, B.C.
Back in 2003 two women reported an incredible alien encounter on a Kelowna street and it wound up among Vike’s biggest cases.
The sighting was featured in a CTV special and even wound up on the Montel Williams show as fodder for a famous psychic.
So when three sightings were reported on the same night this week out of Kelowna, Vike figured it was worth some attention.
The first sighting was by a woman walking her dog in Westbank who noticed a fireball that appeared to dive into the lake and then return to the air.
“This thing ended up coming back out of the water and started to hurl toward a different looking object very high in the sky, which is totally bizarre,” said Vike.
An excerpt from the email she sent the UFO researcher shows just how upsetting the episode was for the pet owner.
“OK, I don’t know what happened last night but it was the most frightening, incredible, and down right terrifying thing I have ever seen,” she wrote. “…I ducked for cover thinking of a meteor or asteroid or something. I started to freak out and yell and as I was standing up, something came literally shooting back out of the water and I saw it start to hurtle towards a different looking object very high in the sky.”
The sighting reportedly occurred at 11 p.m. Vike does not give out the names of those who make reports to protect their privacy but he does go to great lengths to verify their claims.
Earlier this months he was featured on Castanet and is still going through the material he received after the story hit their web site and he is working on several reports he received on Father’s Day from Trail, B.C.
Apparently an airborne craft shook residents from their beds in the Kootenay town, prompting a hunt for UFOs on local radio and even in the newspapers, he said.
But this week’s incident in Kelowna has him unusually excited.
“They saw what appeared to be a Star Wars movie full of bullets and blasters, kind of thing and I’ve had reports from other areas similar to what they’re talking about,” he said.
A second report from the Mission area noted the image was accompanied by a sonic boom and yet another report has come in since then.
Local RCMP did not receive any unusual calls Monday night, to the best of the media spokesperson’s knowledge. And nothing usual appeared on Navigation Canada’s radar.
The air traffic control tower at Kelowna International Airport close just shortly before the sightings occurred.
“I checked with the area control centre. Now they only have radar for planes’ transponders and so if it was a UFO it didn’t have a transponder on. So no, we have no reports of any unusual aircraft in the area,” said Ron Singer, Navigation Canada communications.
From this point forward, Vike will be combing his sources, checking with military contacts, police and beyond to see what he can dig out.

Canadian N.O.R.A.D. Regional Headquarters says a loud aircraft that passed over Trail Monday night was not one of theirs. The KBS News room was flooded with calls Monday night when what sounded like a jet fighter blew through Trail airspace at around 11:10 p.m. Public Affairs Officer Lieutenant Steve Neta says after checking with Operations Personnel at 19 Wing Comox, and the National Operations Centre in Winnipeg, they know it was not a Canadian Forces Aircraft that caused the loud disturbance. But Neta says he doesn’t know who’s it was. Officials at Fair Child Air Force Base in the U.S. says the air craft was not theirs either. When contacted this morning, NAV Canada Officials in Ottawa refused to give out any information related to flight plans in our area.

Black Mountain, Kelowna British Columbia Object Moves Just Above The Tree-Line

Location of Sighting: Black Mountain Number of witnesses: 3 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Circle, round.
Full Description of event/sighting: My two friends and I were parked in a car near the Black Mountain model airfield at around 2:00am when a round shaped light the size of a small airplane caught the corner of my eye. It was about 20 feet above the tree-line at about 100 meters away from us. The object then started to come down into the trees and float along the tree-line towards us, we started to panicky a little not knowing what it was. The object was changing in brightness and speed seemingly brightening when moving faster.
There was no sound made by the object and it looked as if it were searching for something. After the object disappeared we left for home towards Rutland and that's when we saw a quick flash of light move up towards the sky and disappear.

Fireball Type Object Hovering Over Okanagan Lake British Columbia

Hello, I just read an article in the Kelowna Capital News about some UFO sightings over Okanagan Lake last week.
Saturday night at about 1:30 a.m. (July 7) myself and two of my friends saw a similar “fireball” hovering over some trees that are visible from my back yard. This area is not directly over the lake but more towards Winfield. It pulsed gently from yellow to red several times over about five minutes before fading out, flashing brightly once more and dropping straight down behind the tree line. The only manmade object I might conceive it to be was a helicopter, but I’ve never seen a helicopter with lights this bright or this large. The pattern of light pulsations was irregular and not characteristic of an aircraft light or spotlight.
I’m wondering if anyone else reported a similar sighting last Saturday night. I haven’t been able to find a satisfactory explanation of what we saw. I wish I had a picture I could attach for you but we could not get our camera ready before the object disappeared.
Q. - Could you please tell me roughly how long your were able to observe the object for ?
A. - About five minutes
Q. - Did at anytime, did it make any sudden moments, etc ?
A. - No
Q. - Any sound at all noted ?
A. - No
Q. - Roughly how far away would you estimate the object was from your location ?
A. - Two to three kilometres.
Q. - Were you able to see any aircraft in the area during or following the sighting.
A. - No.
Q. - Lastly, which direction was the object located in ?
A. - To the north-west, near Glenmore Rd north of Cross Rd.

Sighting Over Kelowna, British Columbia A White Globe (UFO)

I was working with my wife and kids in my father-in-law's garden when I heard a plane passing over head. The plane left a long vapor trail, which I pointed out to my son. Just above the vapor trail, I spotted a white globe and brought it to my wife's and father-in-law's attention. At first we thought it was moving, but then realized the clouds were slowly heading north. The globe did not seem to move, and was not growing smaller, ruling out an errant balloon. It might have been a weather balloon, given the light colour, but after watching it for fifteen minutes or so, it's location in the sky did not seem to change. Not overly exciting, but certainly unidentified.

Not sure if these photos are similar to the sighting you have posted and that were reported in the local news. I photographed this unusual 'thing' yesterday (Monday) afternoon about 5:00 p.m. over the Rutland area. It was definately unusual and did appear to change shape, direction, and altitude prior to disappearing.
Hope this may be of help and I would definitely be interested in knowing if this is similar to what has been reported.

Large Round Craft Hovers For An Hour Over Okanagan Lake (Kelowna) B.C.

HBCC UFO Research Note: A lady must have called the Kelowna Capital News to request my phone number as the witness called me up and explained what it was she witnessed over Okanagan Lake. The lady said she saw the same UFO twice over a weeks time period.
Date: July 2, 2007 Time: 2:00 a.m.
The first sighting of the craft was on Monday June 25, 2007 and again on the evening everyone else witnessed the unusual UFO event, which would have been July 2, 2007.
The witness said she was awake and got up at 2:00 a.m. and watched the craft for approximately one hour. The object was hovering, she said it did not move from it's position over top of the lake. There were a string of lights that went around the bottom part of the object and as she watched, the bottom lights would fade out and lights at the top of the craft came on, still appearing to circle the object. Also the top portion of the craft seemed to be lit up. The woman also stated that beams of light would shoot out from the top of the UFO and also from the bottom. Finally after roughly the hour had passed by, the craft shot up quickly and was gone and out of sight.
She reports that not a sound was heard coming from it. The lady lives on lake frontage and had an amazing view of the event. The object was low and again stationary over the water. (not touching the water at anytime) The witness said it appeared to be looking for something, or that is the impression she got from observing the event.

Kelowna, British Columbia Cylinder Shaped Craft Entirely Lit Up

Hello Mr. Vike My name is (full name removed). I live on (removed) Rd. Kelowna. On Monday night I was sitting on my front steps talking to my friend on the phone and saw something strange in the sky as well. This also may confirm the stories that my friend read in Fridays paper. Please fell free to call my at my home, so we can discuss this in better detail. Thank you for your time.
Brian Vike telephoned the witness on July 10, 2007 to see what other information I might be able to gather. Also HBCC UFO Research did delete all the personal information for this witness.
The witness tells me she had arrived home from a friends place and noticed another friend had left a message for her to call. The lady took her telephone outside as she was returning the call, plus having a cigarette. As the two friends talked on the phone the witness noticed a long cylinder shaped light. Her first thoughts were that she was just seeing an airplane, as she is close to where the flights fly directly overhead, but the woman went on to say, the object was a little odd looking as it wasn't exactly on the normal flight path. Plus there were not any of the normal NAV lights on this object. The entire craft was fully lit up. After approximately 3 or 4 minutes of viewing time it was gone, the witness said it was like someone turned off the light switch. (we are not sure if the craft moved quickly away from it's location, or with the lights out and due to the darkness the object just wasn't visible)
The object was stationary and not a sound was heard coming from it. It also wasn't sitting at a high altitude, lower than a small Cessna would fly at. Rather low she mentioned and there were also no flashing or blinking lights on it at all.
The lady mentioned to her friend on the telephone that possibly she may have just been witness to a UFO sighting. Both kidded around about what was seen and talked for a while longer then hung up.
On July 6, 2007 the witness gets a phone call from the same friend informing her about an newspaper article on UFO sightings that was reported in the local Kelowna newspaper. (Kelowna Capital News). This is when the lady decided to write an email to me asking if I would telephone her.

Port Colborne, Ontario A White Round Object

Date: June 9, 2007 Time: 10:20 p.m.
Approach Direction: North. Departure Direction: South. Witness Direction: East.
Description: While stargazing on a very clear night spotted white round object which appeared just like another star. Noticed within a couple of seconds that object was moving in a straight line trajectory from north to south. Object had very unusual sudden shifts of position. It would jut either up or down from the straight line it was traveling in and took small hops at times like a skipping stone effect. This would occur with such speed that it seemed it would be in one spot and suddenly in another at the same instant. My wife and father-in-law also saw this.
Color/Shape: white and round
Height & Speed: very hard to tell maybe 40,000 to 50,000 ft. speed also hard to estimate but sudden movements were like light speed.

Downtown Toronto, Ontario A Oval Shaped Light Wobbles

Date: July 12, 2007 Time: 3:30 a.m.
Location of Sighting: Downtown Toronto on top of Merchandise Building at church and Dundas. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Oval.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was on the rooftop patio of the building at the time having a cigarette. When I looked up to the sky there was an oval shaped light that seemed to have appeared from space. It then was travelling straight but wobbled slightly from east to west overtop the downtown buildings above the CN Tower, but below the clouds. It was travelling as fast as a jet fighter. It then stopped and seemed to have disappeared west. This all occurred in about 3 minutes.

Kelowna, British Columbia Strange Lights In The Sky

Date: July 11, 2007 Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.
Hi Brian, my name is (name removed by HBCC UFO) and I live in Kelowna B.C. On July 11, 2007 at around 10:00 PM. my friend and I were out in Black Mountain area sky watching, then my cell phone rang it was my mom and dad in Rutland near Nickel Rd. They directed me to some strange lights in the sky, just below Mars in the eastern sky. The object was blinking bright lights red blue white orange or yellow. It didn't move at all. My friend and I watched it for over an hour along with my parents in Rutland. It was not a plane, satellite or helicopter. We actually seen a plane and a satellite during our time watching it, and the object was not anything like them. They, we looked towards the Kelowna airport and saw another UFO exactly the same, bright blinking colorful lights but no movement. Kootenay Lake (Gray Creek) British Columbia A Long White Cylindrical Object

Date: July 10, 2007 Time: Approx: 8:20 p.m.
A family of 5 were close to the Gray Creek area on Kootenay Lake, British Columbia when the 12 year old son yelled for his family to look west and low in the sky. The father described what they all witnessed, a long white cylindrical object which is estimated to be approximately 150 to 200 feet in length was falling from the sky at a 45 degree angle at a fast rate of speed. As the object descended and just before they lost sight of it, it "appeared" to slow it's speed and started to level out. Both ends of the object seemed to be rounded and more of a shinny metallic color as they reflected the sunlight. The father said that they were close enough to be able to hear sound if there were to be any, but none was noticed. There were no aircraft like features, such as fins, wings, etc. No type of windows were seen or landing gear of any kind. Also observed was a trail of whitish mist following from behind the object which dissipated very quickly. As mentioned above in the report, the family lost sight of it quickly due to the trees and terrain, but thought it did look out of place or unusual.
HBCC UFO side note: There has been a few cylindrical type objects being seen over the last while, from Kelowna down into the Kootenay's and on the lower mainland (Vancouver, B.C. area). (Audio interview)

Glenmore Area Of Kelowna, British Columbia Object Flashing Red Lights

Hi Brian, I was sitting on my deck in the Glenmore area of Kelowna last night, July 11, 2007 at approximately 10:45 pm., looking at the lake. I noticed an object in the sky over the lake towards Winfield, north west from us, flashing red lights. I assumed it was a plane, but when I looked back a minute or so later I realized that it hadn't moved. I got my binoculars and saw there were actually several colours of lights, red, yellow, green, circling around a round object in an up and down pattern. I called my husband and we watched the object for about an hour - it never moved during the entire time, and was still there when we went back into the house. Ottawa, Canada A Silvery White Round Object

Date: July 8, 2007 Time: Daytime sighting.
Approach Direction: Southern Sky. Departure Direction: n/a. Witness Direction: Southern.
Description: I was returning from the downtown area, travelling in a southern direction on the Airport Parkway approaching the Hunt club exist when I saw this odd object in the sky. It was a rather intermittent cloud covered sky and there were fast patches of clear blue sky as well. As I was approaching the Hunt Club exit, I noticed this very silvery-white, somewhat round object in the sky at about 20-28 thousand feet. I captured my attention because it was so bright due to the sun coming through the clouds in the north and shining it's rays upon it. It sparkled like a diamond would have if put into the sunlight. And It was just there all of a sudden, which also caught my attention.
As I watched it, and thought it was a cool reflection of a plane, at first, realized that it wasn't moving but appeared to be stationary. I had a clear view as it was straight in my line of sight through my windshield as I travelled towards it. I would say the object was hovering high above the army base stationed there. I look at it for about 1 minute as I tried to decipher what it was and then resigned myself to it being a star. Mind you the only one out at that time (7:45pm) and with the sun shining through so brightly. And, then I blink...and it was just gone...like it had appeared.
I found it strange and was wondering if anyone else noticed? I'm an educated professional and mature individual that wants to know the truth about all this.

Color/Shape: somewhat oval in shape with bright shiny and smooth silver metal. I saw no lights on the object.
Height & Speed: Height about 27 thousand feet fairly low to the horizon.

Once I thought I had saw a UFO, but it only turned out to be a very bright Venus. For a few months now I have been skywatching with my binoculars, having taken an interest in many of the UFO reports posted on this site.
I hadn't seen anything out of the ordinary, just the usual planes, satellites and the occasional shooting star, until last night! Let me explain.
I have been noticing in recent months in the early evening a stationary star like object to the south that is below and slightly to the right of what I presume to be Mars.
I have been intrigued by the objects' flashing colours of red, yellow and green, but because it has always appeared stationary I eventually assumed it was just a colourful star.
As I was looking at it, it suddenly moved across the sky making a smooth straight trajectory in a southwest direction until it stopped in the position below Mars right where I had seen it stationary on previous nights.
Suddenly another light appeared on the horizon at about the same spot where the first object originated moments before.
I then grabbed my binoculars. It was a circular orb-like shape, like a very large glowing yellow star; it appeared to flicker and get brighter then dimmer; in comparison, the other "regular" stars in the sky were small, crisp, twinkly, with Mars being higher up and to the right.
Anyways at this point I was thinking, I should get my handycam, but I didn't want to miss anything with the binoculars so I continued to watch the sky. Meanwhile the yellow one was disappearing and reappearing a few times, each time in positions a little further to the left from where it first appeared.
I couldn't take my eyes off my binoculars when a while later a third object appeared to the right of the bright yellow one.
The third object looked similar to the first coloured one, and then this third coloured object began to move in straight lines in a kind of triangular formation, sometimes disappearing then flashing a new in different spots.
I couldn't describe it better than the report from Port Colbourne, Ontario where the witness articulated that what they saw"...took small hops at times like a skipping stone effect.
This would occur with such speed that it seemed it would be in one spot and suddenly in another at the same instant.
Then, I was very astonished to see this object, with a sort of pulsating, blurred movement, stretch out into an elongated shape that had a softer semi-opaque whitish appearance. It was slightly thicker in the middle than at the ends.
Then in a moment it shrank back to its original size and star-like shape, and I watched for a while longer as it moved some more in a back and forth motion. Then the objects disappeared by fading, except for the one below Mars.
I believe that a fourth star like object appeared above the bright yellow one, but I was so intently watching this third one that I was unable to watch the fourth one.
The whole observation took about 45 minutes. I estimate that the objects were located at some distance away over Washington State.
I just want to add something with reference to the first multicoloured object just below Mars that appeared stationary upon my previous observations.
Last month in June I was on holiday in the Cariboo and I noticed a stationary coloured object exactly like it directly to the north. I observed it for the whole week that I was there, at least on the evenings that it was clear out.
At that time I commented to my partner that it looked just like the one at home in Rossland that we had seen previously to the south under Mars. I've been wondering if it was one object in orbit, or more than one object in different places.

Victoria, British Columbia Object With What Appeared To Be Wings ?

Location of Sighting: West (I think) sky same direction as the crescent moon. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: It looked like a seagull (gray) only with stationary wings.
Full Description of event/sighting: As I looked up at a float plane flying over my house I thought I saw to my right a gray seagull riding a thermal (wings stationary). I thought of a gull because its wings had a break in them as a birds wings do. I realized that it could not be a gull as it held a very high elevation and it moved very fast from North to South or right to left. Just before it absolutely disappeared before my eyes, it seemed to stop or at least turn and travel either towards me or away from me so that it appeared that it was not moving. I watched the sky for a few minutes after to see if it would show up again. If it had not disappeared then I would have rationalized that I saw a military jet. There was no sound or contrail though. Did anyone else see this thing?

Over North Surrey, British Columbia Another Unusual Object Witnessed

Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, I believe this was the same object seen over Victoria. I was sitting on my deck watching the planes approaching YVR and noticed what appeared to be a gull almost directly overhead. As the fellow in Victoria said, it just appeared to be riding the thermals and just sailing in large circles. I wasn't paying to much attention until one of those small two engine Lear type jets passed almost directly underneath it. Two my surprise the Gull? was approx. half the size of the jet and appeared to be many thousands of feet higher. I went into the apt. to get my binoculars but when I came back out the object had disappeared. While I was typing this it occurred to me that this could have been the same Gull like object I saw several years back fly by Burke Mountain and then head east up the Fraser valley.

North Surrey, British Columbia A White Cylinder Shaped Object

Date: July 11, 2007 Time: Approx: 11:00 a.m. ?
Still not sure what the following was. Was on my deck again at about the same time on 11 July 07? plus or minus one day. At the time there were six planes approaching, departing or just flying over YVR. Ranging in altitude from almost ground level up to about 30,000 ft. What caught my eye was a white cylinder shaped object heading from north to south at approx. four to six thousand feet. All the other planes could be easily seen as planes but I could not see any tail stabilizer or wings on this white object, it appeared to be about the size of a 737 and rounded a both ends, for once I had my binoculars sitting beside me and quickly grabbed them but still could not see any wings or rudder, nor windows. I watched it for almost a minute and it just continued in a southerly direction.

Bay Of Fundy, Nova Scotia Two Ring Shaped Craft Skip Across The Bottom Of Clouds

HBCC UFO Research Note: Below the witnesses reported sighting I have added more to the event as I picked up the telephone and called the witness just after the person's email came in. This is some wild sighting, but darn interesting.
Full Description of event/sighting: Myself and 2 other witnesses were sitting in the back yard, as a huge cloud bank moved over our heads. This is weather pattern that usually happens 3-5 times a week. As we watched the clouds, the first of two objects flew directly over our heads. It headed in a true north direction. This was followed by another object which headed more to the east of true north. These objects skimmed the underside of the cloud bank. the light omitted from the craft, was a camera flash intense white light. These objects traveled 10 times faster than any jet we have seen. There was no lightning in the area that evening.

The witness and a couple of friends were sitting outside enjoying the evening when they noticed a cloud bank come rolling in, nothing unusual about this as the witness said the cloud bank rolls in every night and a while later the cloud bank usually dissipates. The witnesses all sat watching the cloud cover when they saw a light, a ring shaped object flying sideways coming out of the bottom of the cloud. The witness said the ring shaped object would skip off one cloud and then another as it traveled along. The fellow estimates the ring shaped objects was at approximately 1000 feet above the three people. The man stated again that it looked exactly like a ring with light emitting off the ring itself. The witness said he was in air cadets and has flown in numerous military aircraft and this object was flying at a fast rate of speed, faster than a military jet aircraft. Also there was light trailing off of the strange object.
HBCC UFO Research Note: Try to picture this event, the ring shaped object was "not" moving threw the cloud cover, it was "just" below the bottom part of the cloud cover and skipping off the bottom parts of the clouds. The object traveled due north, now at this point of the strange event everyone started freaking out, jumping all over the place I am sure with a range of emotions after observing this unusual event. Between 30 seconds and one and a half minutes later, or following the ring shaped object passing overhead, another object exactly the same shape and size came into view in an easterly direction.
Also the witness mentioned that they see a bright orange orb type object fly every night across the bay and on different trajectories and it will even turn in the sky and travel off in a all together different direction.

Bay Of Fundy, Nova Scotia Jet Aircraft Makes Quick Maneuver To Avoid A UFO

Date: July 12, 2007 Time: Afternoon.
On the afternoon of July 12, 2007 my daughter and I witnessed an incident over the Bay airspace. This incident was the sure thing, for it was very visible. I would like to discuss this in person on the phone. Chemtrail sprayer, nearly knocked from the sky by a flying flopping disc. Please feel free to call me any time.

I called the gentleman up on the phone and had a really nice conversation with him, and by the sounds of things there seems to be a lot of unknown air activity going on in his area.
We discussed the above sighting and this is what the eyewitness had to report on this event.
The man's daughter was out on the trampoline when the Dad called out to his daughter and said to look at the large aircraft that was traveling above them through the sky. Both witnesses now looking up at the aircraft observed a disk shaped craft falling down in the sky, pretty much flopping from side to side, or a good example would be watching a leave fall through the air. It appeared that the craft was falling out of control. (please keep in mind that this craft was falling and "above" the jet aircraft).
The jet airliner was heading north when the craft leveled out at approximately the same altitude as the jet was at and proceeded to fly straight at the jet. The contrail following behind the jet had ceased and the jet made a quick maneuver to avoid a collusion with the unknown disk shaped craft. Matter of fact the jet wings were tilted and the jet dropped in altitude somewhat then climbed up and leveled off. The pilot made a hard and quick maneuver to avoid the disk shaped craft. The witness said the UFO finally climbed in altitude and back up into a dark cloud cover and that was the last they saw of the object.

Date: July 12, 2007 Time: Afternoon.
On the afternoon of July 12, 2007 my daughter and I witnessed an incident over the Bay airspace. This incident was the sure thing, for it was very visible. I would like to discuss this in person on the phone. Chemtrail sprayer, nearly knocked from the sky by a flying flopping disc. Please feel free to call me any time.

I called the gentleman up on the phone and had a really nice conversation with him, and by the sounds of things there seems to be a lot of unknown air activity going on in his area.
We discussed the above sighting and this is what the eyewitness had to report on this event.
The man's daughter was out on the trampoline when the Dad called out to his daughter and said to look at the large aircraft that was traveling above them through the sky. Both witnesses now looking up at the aircraft observed a disk shaped craft falling down in the sky, pretty much flopping from side to side, or a good example would be watching a leave fall through the air. It appeared that the craft was falling out of control. (please keep in mind that this craft was falling and "above" the jet aircraft).
The jet airliner was heading north when the craft leveled out at approximately the same altitude as the jet was at and proceeded to fly straight at the jet. Kelowna, British Columbia UFO And Strange Activity Going On

HBCC UFO Research Note: I have been made aware of some strange things going on in the Kelowna, British Columbia area. Without giving anything away, I would like to request that anyone living in the Kelowna, B.C. area who has observed a military type aircraft in the area would they please let me know, also if an increase of helicopters are being witnessed. And of course any other UFO activity taking place, if so please file your sighting report me HBCC UFO Research as this is extremely important.
