Huge Circular UFO Top And Bottom Hidden In The Clouds And Tree Line Seen South Of Nanaimo Vancouver Island British Columbia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I have no blinds on the windows of my house and my bed is situated right next to the window on the second floor. If I wake up in the night, I'll often look outside as I roll over, and especially with a full moon, as I have a beautiful view.

That night/morning, I woke up, looked at the clock and rolled over, looking outside. I'd only been asleep for just over an hour. The moon was positively brilliant, and as I looked closer, I realized it looked very odd.

It looked huge, very close, and just above the tree-line. The bottom part wasn't visible behind the trees. the top part appeared to be hiding behind clouds, too, and it wasn't reflecting light, it looked like a huge spotlight, or maybe 2-3 lights in a horizontal row, but huge lights.

The light wasn't really shining across the small valley towards my house, though, it was shining further to the north.

Let me just say that it looked odd enough that I ran quietly downstairs, and out on the back deck, to look at it quietly, because I had company.

I have never done something like that before. it was emitting light - it didn't appear to be reflecting light, like one would expect. there did seem to be a bit of cloud above it, and I somehow rationalized, after staring at it for a few minutes, that I was just tired and the clouds were making it look weird.

It wasn't until I got back to bed that I questioned it's position. I didn't think the moon should be that low at that time of night, so I did look out at it one more time.

The next morning, I asked my visitors where the moon would be positioned at that time of night, and explained what I had seen the night before. They had all kinds of explanations, and I ended up feeling ridiculous.

The night of September 27, 2012, I noted the position of the moon at about 9:00 p.m., as I could see it from my bathroom window.

I got up at 5:00 a.m. the following morning to get ready for work and was stunned to see the moon in about the same position, vertically, that I had seen it 2 days before at 12:30 at night, except much higher in the sky.

There is just no way that the course of the moon is going to change like that. I have to say that the object I saw originally was not the moon.

I'm really regretting not taking a picture that night, or waking up the visitors, as that visual is absolutely haunting me. I have no idea what I saw. Whatever it was, it was very large, and very bright, and sat motionless for at least 10 minutes.

Now that I have discounted the moon as a possibility, I can say that I was close enough that I would have heard sound, and there was none. If it were at the tree-line, it would be about 300-400 yards away.

If I were to describe the shape, I would say a circle with both the top third and the bottom third removed, or the top was hidden in the clouds and the bottom behind the trees.

The trees are at the top of a small ridge, 100' Douglas Firs, so it wasn't a vehicle. The visible area of the object was filled entirely by the large spotlight (s).

I would even go so far as to say that the "spotlight", beam that I could see in it's entirety had a black spot in the middle. I don't know how to explain that any more clearly, except possibly by comparing it to a hand-held water nozzle with water spraying from around the outside, but there's a little spot in the middle that is clear.

Given the distance, I would estimate that the diameter of the "light" on the object would have been about 30'-40'.

This has been bothering me enough for the past few days that I'm submitting this sighting in hopes that someone else might come forward to say they saw the same thing. I'd really like to know what I saw.

I have never seen anything "unidentifiable" before.

Approximately 10 Orange Lights Seen Flying Over Scarborough Ontario

Last night around 12 o'clock at night myself and a few friends saw approximately 10 orange colored lights going up slowly in to the sky, which we thought they were fireworks.

Then once they reached a certain altitude, they started to move towards our direction except for 3 of them those kept on going up and eventually vanished.

The rest of the lights would move around side to side as they flew over our building! really weird!

My friend caught it on his I-Phone, I'm trying to get a hold of video so I can post on YouTube.

3 Bright Orange Colored Lights Over Oakville Ontario

I just saw the exact same thing, 3 bright orange lights travelling from east to west, one right after another going at the same speed. One might see a firecracker climbing into the sky (to me they seemed to be travelling faster than a commercial airliner).

The difference is these were travelling in a horizontal manner and did not have an arc. I called my husband to the window, but unfortunately he did not see it in time. About 2 minutes later I saw another one, but this time it was a single bright orange light travelling at the same speed and in the exact same direction.

Have never seen anything like this before, bizarre enough for me to Google "Oakville, Ontario UFO" which brought me to this site.

Orange Object Seen Flying Over Kamloops British Columbia

Hello there, I to saw this orange light. For me it was one light travelling from north to south about approximately 20:40 at night and in a dead straight line.

It was unlike anything I have seen before. As an aside, a fellow I work with was at the Jonnny Lang concert and said that after when travelling home he saw a orange light hovering over the Batchelor Heights area.

Bright Orange Light Over Gorge/Burnside Victoria Vancouver Island British Columbia

Hi Brian, at approximately 11:45 last night I was sitting out on my back deck, staring up at the night sky. I do this frequently, and occasionally I see a shooting star or a satellite, moving through the sky.

I live in the Gorge/Burnside area, and although I am close to town, I can usually see stars, but last night was not an exceptionally dark night.

I did see something very strange however. I saw a very bright orange light. It looked almost like a very large, bright star, but it was orange and moving. I used another star as a reference point, and observed it moving, slowly, but not too slow, to the east, or to the right, and down.

Not in any kind of orbiting way, just moving in that general direction. After about 3-4 minutes of movement, it stopped, flickered and was gone.

About 2-3 minutes after that, another one appeared in the same originating spot as the first, but moved in the other direction, and repeated the same actions as the first.
It was quite awesome.

Two Bright Orange Lights Over Toronto Ontario

I was at Spadina and DuPont last night and saw two bright orange orbs traveling (I believe) east not west. They were side by side when we first saw them and slowly drifted apart as the went over head.

They seemed to look like meteors and as they went overhead they either burnt out or the orange was not visible from the bottom.

You could still see them though. Like giant rocks slowly floating through the sky. Most defiantly the strangler thing I have seen in the sky. Simply amazing.

Huge Bright White Ball Hovering Then Shot Off Quickly Leaving A Trail Behind Over Montreal Quebec

Time:  Around 9:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Hi there Brian. This past Thursday evening, September 20th 2012 I was outside on my deck at my house around 9:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. While on my deck I was looking up in the sky and I saw a huge bright white ball, that had hovered for a few seconds without moving, then suddenly it took off and left another huge bright white “tail” then vanished.

It happened very, very quickly. There were no engine/turbine noises whatsoever, and it wasn’t a helicopter or spot light. What I saw happened very quickly and it was very intense. The big round ball of light which seemed to have a “halo” around it, and was very, very impressive, and the jagged “tail” bright light was also very impressive.

I ran inside and told my wife and she was quite intrigued about what I had seen.

Last night (Saturday September 22nd), I called my boss and told him what I saw on Thursday, he actually did a small search on the internet which led me to you. I know what I saw was something extraordinary, I still don’t know what it was, but I think about it every day now.

I am in no way “nuts” like some might think. I don’t drink alcohol nor do I do any kind of drugs etc., and it wasn’t lightning or anything like that. I have worked outside for 25 years, the outdoors is my “office” so to speak.

I just thought I would contact you with what I had seen. I live high up on a hill in the West Island area in a town called Pincourt, let me tell you I’m sure there must have been others who had seen this as it was very, very large and pronounced.

One Orange Fiery Light Flew Over Waterloo Ontario

Hello Brian, my friend and I saw 1 orange, fiery light flying southeast over Waterloo for about 30 seconds. It quickly faded into nothing.

We were curious if anyone else has seen anything like this, my friend has also seen 3 lights of the same colour in the summer flying quickly in a line west also in Waterloo.

Orange Lights Spotted Flying Over Waterloo Ontario

Hi, my name is (name removed). Last night, September 9, 2012, I saw a lot of orange lights in the sky over Waterloo, Ontario. I would say that there were about 5000 of them, maybe more.

They were all going in the same direction, it lasted about 10 minutes. It was not on the news and I guess no one else seen it. I told people at work about and they think I'm nuts.

I really don't think that they are Chinese lanterns, there was too many of them.

Orange/Red Fire In The Sky Over Jasper Alberta Canada

Hi, on September 8, 2012 at work I was star gazing again and noticed a orange red (fire coloured) ball off to the south east low and slow. Got a good look through my binoculars. The object was not an aircraft.

I watched it move below the mountain line heading east for about 2 minutes, then faded and was gone. I looked for next 10 minutes, but nothing. Five minutes after that, I caught it going north to south at same speed and area, but a little higher in altitude.

Same thing as before, not as bright then faded away. Gone.

18 To 22 Orange Colored Lights In The Sky Over North Waterloo Ontario

Good day how are you today? I am writing you about orange glowing UFOs last night September 9, 2012 I am in North Waterloo ON I was getting ready for bed at 22:55 I noticed a orange craft coming over the northwest horizon which did not catch me as odd, but 20 some seconds later another was following it.

I called for my girlfriend to see, her mind being closed to any strange possibility, of course her first reaction air plane. I thought they were too close to be flying together and I also thought they were travelling really fast.

She went on about getting ready for bed I continued to watch then both vanished. After about a minute I was coming back in from the balcony my mind was racing through all the things I may have just seen, and another one came over from the same part of the horizon followed by 2 more these ones travelling much faster with same approximate course as the first one all three vanished in about the same spot.

My girlfriend returned now wondering what we were seeing. Now out of seeing about 18-22 of these orange craft the strangest, was a craft comes over the horizon followed by another one both travelling 4 times faster than any of the commercial airplanes, in sight that had the common flashing lights on them.

So I have a good comparison for speed there may have been three airplanes travel over during the orange UFOs travelling over. So anyways this is maybe the 10th one at this point comes over the horizon followed by another one and the one that was behind picked up speed and flew past the other one from where I was if you put your fingers out to measure distance there would have been 2 inches between the UFOs.

Within a couple of seconds the one that had been behind, was past the first one by 2 inches. I believe it to have been travelling at least double the other UFOs speed about 8x faster than the commercial planes in the sky.

All of the orange objects vanished in the same area in the sky. I did not see any more after 23:15. I also noticed that the colour of the UFOs were the same as the street lights, so I concluded that it was light refracting from whatever craft I was seeing where the UFOs seemed to be vanishing.

I was only able to see one have a slight glow after the others had vanished from my sight I am not just an occasional sky watcher these were not satellites, meteors, commercial airplanes. I am surprised there is nothing on the net yet about people seeing these last night.

Bright Yellow/Orange Lights Flew Over Chicopee Kitchener Ontario

Around 20 Orange Lights Seen Over Upper Middle Road And Sutton Drive Burlington Ontario (Pictures)

Tonight at around 9:00 p.m. at Upper Middle Road and Sutton Drive myself and 6 neighbors with our 9 kids saw approximately 20 of these lights/orange lights in the sky.

At first we saw 2 flying very close together, then we saw another pair and another pair.

Then they all headed toward the southeast and disappeared from sight mostly due to the clouds.

UFOs Shoot Up Into The Night Sky Over Burnaby British Columbia

Time:  Approx: 1:00 a.m.

I live in Burnaby, I was standing on my balcony about 1:00 a.m. when I saw what I thought was a plane. I realized it wasn't a plane because it was descending towards a wooded area, where there is no airport, and it was flickering red and green lights.

The way it moved was shaky, hovering I guess you could say, and moving from side to side as it headed in it's initial direction. It disappeared behind the trees. I was looking at what I could see of the northern lights because the trees were blocking most of it.

I could only see the top, a faded green glow, slightly red on one side. 

About 30 minutes later, the green glow got brighter and the object that I had saw earlier shot straight up and went off in another direction. This happen two more times within 2 hours.

They all looked identical except the third one was bigger and there was a noise before it shot up into the sky. I tried recording it in video quality is horrible, but you can still see the flickering of the light and how it hovers all shaky.

I'm trying to figure this out. Any ideas?

Vancouver Island continues to be a hot spot for sightings of unidentified flying objects, says a Houston, B.C.-based researcher.

“There were a lot of sighting reports from Vancouver Island,” said Brian Vike, who runs the UFO research website The Vike Factor.

Bright Orange Object Flew Over Cambridge Ontario

Time:  Late evening.

So tonight I was walking back from the movies, when I looked up and saw what can only be described as the strangest thing I've ever seen, and believe me I've seen some weird things.

This thing rose up out of nowhere and came drifting by right above my head silently and slowly so that I could get a good look at it.

It was at first a very bright orange thing, but as it passed above me it looked like a translucent up side down glass with a bright orange fire ball spinning around inside of it. It was huge.

It kind of reminded me of a jellyfish for some reason. I tried to film it on my phone camera, but it mysteriously wouldn't turn on. A guy on a bike was driving by and I yelled to him to come check it out.

He came over and couldn't believe what he was seeing, he kept saying "oh my god what the hell is that" and "I've never seen anything like it before".

It was weird and seemed to be conscious and reading my thoughts. We both watched this thing sail above us so gracefully and silently just in complete awe. It drifted for a while getting brighter and brighter and finally just hovered to the bottom left of the moon.

As I write this, it is still visible, so if anyone has seen this thing tonight let me know. It's a mystery and I have at least one other witness, surely someone out there has seen this above Cambridge.

Time: In the late evening, before 10:15 pm, perhaps around 9:45 p.m.
Number: multiple
Shape: Orange/red lights

Location of sighting: Looking south from the North side of Christie Pitts, Toronto
Potential location of UFOs: over Lake Ontario/South Toronto; perhaps Parkdale, Liberty Village, Lake Shore
Duration: ~4 minutes

3 witnesses saw multiple (at least 10) orange/red orbs in the sky coming from the SW, heading NE.

They moved at different speeds and slightly different directions. There was no discernible sound. The orbs then changed direction and speed many times over smaller trajectories.

They continued to move in different directions, seemingly distributed randomly (perhaps more were appearing?). At this point I ran inside to grab my glasses, and upon return the orbs were still making random movements.

This continued for about 2 more minutes, then some moved west while others went southeast and then disappeared. Stragglers seemed to come from the west, change directions and disappear west a few minutes later.

Wow! We just felt total awe. We were trying to make sense of it, but all agreed that it was like nothing we had ever seen before.
