Location of Sighting: Looking from Southeast Edmonton-object was at north/northeast.

Shape of objects: Difficult to tell.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was driving northbound on somewhat of a dull lit morning shortly after dawn. I saw flashing bright lights like a strobe. It was at a great distance from me and I could not make out the shape. It first looked like a plane or a chopper but the lights were silver and blue and very sharp and bright emitted at such a far distance-too sharp and flashing too quickly perhaps for a plane. I am guessing the object was 3 km away and maybe 1/2 a kilometer up. The lights were too brilliant for a plane that far away especially on a misty morning. My car was stopped at a red light and I was able to see the object longer. The object then moved across the horizon from east to west, but at a very quick speed; and again too fast for a plane covering a distance of 2-3 km in about 6 sec. Then the object suddenly stopped in mid-flight-hovering. The next thing that happened was truly strange. The object turned a bright orange glow with it's lights larger than a plane. It was one big orange light encompassing the entire object-definitely not a plane. It sat there for about 3 seconds then it started moving back east again but this time the sharp lights returned to its original strobing silvery-blue lights as it headed east but at a slower speed this time. I had to park the car on the side of the road to view it longer but the object headed northeast and eventually disappeared.

Near Parrsboro, Nova Scotia Meteor Sighting ?

Location of Sighting: Near Parrsboro, Nova Scotia.
Number of witnesses: 4

Shape of objects: Meteor, long fire ball with green tail.
Full Description of event/sighting: Sitting at home on computer early in the morning (Saturday night) really Sunday morning just after 1:00am. I heard a noise, hard to describe really because I wasn't really paying attention. You see, I live where large trucks (18 wheelers) run by day and night. I can hear them coming for about a half kilometer, then as they get past my house they begin to 'jake break' all the way down the hill (about 1 km.) All this happens day-in day-out and with the combination of having the all windows closed (winter and all) and the fact I've gotten so used to them passing by that I pay no attention, in fact, I just don't really notice them. As this noise passed by (a truck I thought), I did finally clue into the fact that this was particularly loud, not like the usual, but still just a noise. So I didn't bother having a look. After a short time, maybe a minute, not sure (still not really paying attention), I heard a crash/smash type sound. Nothing exceptionally unusual, just like something large hitting something else large.
I also felt a small shake. (very small, but noticeable). Still believing that a large noisy truck just went by I thought to myself, "did that truck just hit the bridge?". About 3 km away there is a large bridge. I listened intently, then thought nothing more of it. Fast forward, Tuesday 29 Jan 2008, a co-worker begins to relate a story of a meteor that he and a friend saw. This is the real reason that I am writing, if not for his story I may have never thought any more of the 'noisy truck incident'.
His story: He and a friend were snowmobiling near Parrsboro, Nova Scotia late at night (Saturday/Sunday). They were stopped for a break. Suddenly the sky began to get brighter (almost like daylight) and they heard a noise.
They watched an object in the distance pass in front of them very rapidly. Some conversation such as "is that a plane going down ?", "no it's way too fast, too bright, and traveling too horizontal for a plane, crashing or not". They spoke more, including checking the time on their watch, 1:19am. The description is, a large object that looked like the classic sci-fi movie meteor, ball of fire, mostly white-ish toward the front tapering off in a long tail with red/orange colors in center area and a green tail. The speed was remarkable, though it was huge, it came and went fast. They had a large area of the sky that was clear and visible and yet it covered that in very little time. Then they heard a crash and felt the ground shake. He has since spoken to another friend of his that was on the 102 highway at about that time heading toward Truro and this person says that he witnessed an object that sounds a lot like the same thing. The trajectory, as best he can guess would be coming from the East or North-East heading West or North West. This would mean it passed within sight of and likely between Tatamagouche and New Glasgow and in line with Advocate Harbour.
He can not be certain, no real reference for him to use, just land marks that he knows of in the area. A few degrees difference of course could mean hundreds of miles difference in the estimated trajectory. The hook: I know I wasn't paying any attention, but I know what I heard. I also feel he (my co-worker) is a reliable witness, though I don't know the person he was with or the other person he spoke with that was on the highway. The thing is, I would be about 60Km from where he was (as the crow flies), and his buddy on the highway would be better than 70 Km from my friend (as the crow flies) and yet still 15 Km from myself (by crow). This puts all of us in a triangle like pattern. The thing is, if I heard all this, including the crash (and possibly felt some shake), that should mean that this was a large incident that hundreds should have seen or at least felt and possibly heard. Also, something this large, must have been tracked by someone's radar. What is going on ? Why have I not heard a word otherwise ?

Scarborough, Ontario A Huge Oval Craft Materialized Directly Above Me

I am writing a book, which includes some of my life's experiences. One of the experiences I had was a close encounter when I was eight or nine years old. I have decided that I will share an excerpt from my unfinished book of this incident, with the hope that maybe someone reading it, may come forward to collaborate my story.
From The Beginning
I had a habit of looking down at my feet while walking as a child; it was a game I used to play when I was around eight or nine years old. One early evening, I am working my way down the road, heading home after leaving a friends place. I had my head down, looking at my feet as I walked, while keeping the curb insight out of the corner of my eye. The challenge to this game however, was to try and guess how far I had walked, and how close I was getting to my house without cheating by looking up. When I finally stopped and lifted my head, I realized with a smile of triumph that I was standing right in front of my house. We lived in a one story, back split house with an open carport, were the front of the house faced east, and the back faced west. The house was also perched on a rise that over looked the rest of the neighborhood to the west.
I remember feeling the low Suns warmth on the right side of my face as I stood there in the street as it began to set. I was drawn by its warmth, I remember closing my eyes as I turned and faced west into the Suns direction so I could bask in its comforting orange glow for the moment. Turning my head and looking east, I noticed the night's zenith approaching; I loved this time of the evening, I loved the way you could track the night's zenith moving across the sky back then. I remember wondering at that moment, if I looked strait up, maybe I would be able to see the first star of the night; I use to like wishing on the first star at that age.
As I saluted the sky to block the sunlight while stretching my head back to look strait up, I noticed the first bright star in the sky directly above me. I remember thinking how lucky I was, as I took a moment to search the rest of the sky above me for more stars, but found none. Now I am sure, I had only taken my eyes off the star above me for only a brief moment when I scanned the rest of the sky. Nevertheless, before I could finish assembling my thoughts that were beginning to materialize in my mind about what wish I was going to make, a bright object about the size of a quarter held at arms length was there above me instead.
Before I had time to express my amazement, a huge oval object over twice the size of a house, materialized directly above me, it was floating silently just above the height of the TV aerials, which most of the homes had, back then. It had gone from the size of a quarter to the size of the monster that hovered over me now, in the blink of an eye, without making a sound.
I could not stop my legs from shaking as I stood there paralyzed with fear, I was scared shitless and amazed at the same time, and I could not move as I studied the mirror like surface of the object that had stopped to look me over. It was the first and the last time that I ever remembered experiencing, involuntary body movement. I also remember hearing in my peripheral, the lawn mower that had been going across the street, stop. It was then; that I realized I was not as alone as I felt.
My eyes were glued to the object, and it felt as if time stood still. I could see the whole neighborhood reflected off the curvature of the crafts mirrored surface. The roof of my house was inverted in the objects reflective surface, with the reflected TV aerial, looking like it was close to touching the real thing. What made the whole experience even more surreal was the memory of seeing the sun setting, and the sun setting off the westward rim of the object; it was as if I was watching two sunsets, which is an image that has been burned into my mind, to this day.
It was a huge egg shaped mirror. Those where my last thoughts as I watched it slowly begin to float away from me, silently moving north up the street, while finally gaining altitude as it flew over my school before disappearing from sight.
As soon as I was able to move, I went running screaming my head off into my house, freaking my mother out, she thought at the time I had hurt myself. At first, she refused to believe the incident as I told her. We had a running joke going on in the family back then, where she would tell my brother and me that she was from outer space. My mother thought at first that I might have been influenced by her stories, until she heard the incident reported on the radio. I do not think she was ever able to bring herself to believe the personal nature of the experience that had happened to me, as I had described it to her back then. What adult truly listens to a kid with the same level of belief that they would have with another adult.
Over one hundred people saw this object, including my teacher Mrs. Davis from the school I attended, and it also made the news on the radio as well. It happened in Scarborough, Ont., Canada, about a mile south of the CTV Television Station. I was eight or nine at the time so this incident took place in 1963 or 1964, I cannot remember which.

Pointe du Chene, New Brunswick A Bright And Sparkly Golden/Yellow Light (UFO)

Location of Sighting: In a wooded trail not far from our house.

Shape of objects: Star-like.
Full Description of event/sighting: My husband and I were walking in a wooded trail with our dog. It was a star lit night with a crescent moon. As we neared the end of the trail, I had a flashlight and I was flashing it at the top of the trees to see if we could spot some bats. It was very dark in the woods and when I would turn the flashlight off, you could not see your hand in front of your face. The trail is adjacent to a field, and as we approached the end of the trail, and coming around a bend, suddenly we both saw a very bright and sparkly golden or yellow light coming towards where we were standing. It seemed to be just above the tree line. I said to my husband, "What's that?", he said, "It's a star", and I said, "But it's moving and it's much too low to be a star". We watched it for about 2 minutes and as it got further away, but not far away, it looked like it shrunk into itself and just disappeared or that it just took off so fast that it looked like it disappeared! Oh yeah, just before it blinked out I flashed my flashlight towards it. Then my husband said, "It must be a plane" and I said, "did you hear any sound"and he said, "No". So we ran into the field and looked for any sign of a plane and there were lots of stars, but no planes. It moved very, very slowly. We were stunned as to what we had just observed. It's the fourth time since 1991 that I saw lights that I would consider to be unidentifiable.

Sackville, Nova Scotia Huge Bright Object Moving Fast

Location of Sighting: Out of my window at home.
Number of witnesses: 2

Shape of objects: Circle.
Full Description of event/sighting: It was a very bright light (almost looked like a full moon) that moved very quickly and only lasted for a couple of seconds. Almost looked like a shooting star, but it was way too big! My dad and I saw it high in the sky over our home through our patio window in lower Sackville.

Full Description of event/sighting: It was a very bright light (almost looked like a full moon) that moved very quickly and only lasted for a couple of seconds. Almost looked like a shooting star, but it was way too big! My dad and I saw it high in the sky over our home through our patio window in lower Sackville.

Stony Mountain/Anzac, Alberta UFO Appeared Octagonal - With Spider Web Like Lattice

Full Description of event/sighting: First, this is an account I got from my mother, she was the one that witnessed the UFO, but she wasn't sure where she'd report it. Last night at about 2:00 in the morning my mother noticed a red and blue flashing light in the sky. Thinking that it was a low flying airplane, she went back to watching TV.
Ten minutes later, she noticed that the lights were still hovering above a nearby 'mountain' (more of a giant hill, 3-5 KM away). Curious, she got a pair of binoculars, and went upstairs to make sure it wasn't some sort of strange reflection.
When she focused on the object, she saw that it had an octagonal shape, and that it wasn't an airplane at all. She described it to me as having a spider-web like lattice, with red and blue flashing lights strung throughout. She went between the first and second floors to get different angles of coverage, but she was too scared to go outside, or drive nearer.
Over the next hour and a half, she watched it hover over one area, wobbling in the air back and forth. At times, the craft would stand vertically, exposing all the lights and the web lattice, and then it would resume it's horizontal disc shape.
Each time it 'stood', she said it felt like she was being watched.
Unfortunately, she didn't have the presence of mind at the time to try to get an image of it. I would have loved to have seen it myself, even if it was -40C and two in the morning. When I went over to her place today, she was charging up the camcorder in the hope that it'd appear again. I told her to definitely call me if it does. Doubtful, but with any luck, I'll be writing to you Sunday with some crystal-clear video in hand.

There are now two orange objects and one flashing. They are solid in color, the two orange ones. They are flashing brightly and seem to close to be stars for sure. The flashing one leaves the telescope within minutes and the orange ones haven't moved in some time, but are eye catchers for sure. Kelowna, British Columbia Orange Colored Object

Time: Evening.
There is now an orange object in the sky. It started out at the end of the pot of the Big Dipper. It is now at the middle of the three stars of the base of the Dipper. It is solid in color and moving towards the other object that's flashing in the colors of red and bright white. I have the telescope on it and it's moving quite fast. I have seen at least three fighters fly by the area in last hour, as well as, , or looked to be satellites. Back in a few!

I've sent one message before. Look at the Big Dipper and at the end of the handle there's a bright object moving erratically. There has been four jets leave the area in the last twenty minutes. I have been watching this for last 40 minutes. There's actually two of these in the sky, one at the end of the handle and one below and the very end of the pot. Get back to me if you see this. (name removed) in Kelowna, B.C.

Kamloops, British Columbia A Polished Chrome Triangular Shaped Object

Lat 50 40.60N. Long 120 21.02W
Approach Direction: One object, traveling North-East to South-West. Departure Direction: South-West, disappearing into the shadow cast by the earth. visible for about 4 seconds. Witness Direction: West.
Description: I was walking east along a park lane with our dog, I glanced west up into a clear blue evening sky and saw a glittering object pass between the moon and Venus, then vanish while going on a straight southerly trajectory. The remarkable thing about the object was that it appeared to be only 10 KM away at about 40 degrees POV angle, however I realized it was much further away and glittering from the rays of the sun that had already gone below the horizon. It became invisible once it had entered the earth's shadow.
Color/Shape: A polished chrome triangular-shaped object that caught the rays of the sun, making it glitter as it spiraled. Imagine a highly-polished hunting arrow shape that rotates as it travels, causing the sun to glitter off its surface with each rotation.
From my POV it is possible the object was not earthbound, but rather entering and exiting the stratosphere at an oblique angle. If it was in the stratosphere it was larger than a passenger jet. The object's glittering was brighter than Venus, which was also visible at the same moment.
Height & Speed: the object matched the speed of a meteor without any vapour trail or sound, glittering in the sun then disappearing into the earth's shadow.

Northeast Of Calgary, Alberta A Rapidly Moving Light

Date: June 25, 2007 Time: Approx: 11:50 p.m.
Tonight at approximately 11:50pm I spotted what appeared to be a rapidly moving star – at first I thought it was a satellite, but based on my previous observations of satellite movements, this object was moving far too quickly to be a satellite. It moved in a northward direction, but was quite faint and I found it difficult to track the object’s movement. I watched the object for between 30 seconds and 1 minute. The security light was on by our garage (impeding my ability to track the object), and as the object continued moving southward, I lost sight of it. I walked over to the outdoor light and unplugged it to see if I could locate the object again, and after approx. 1 minute, I located the object a second time (however, it could have been a second object, as I did lose track of this object for approx. 1 minute. The object was now tracking southward at was moving at approximately the same speed.
From my position, the object was traveling at a trajectory that was in-between the moon (to the southwest) and what I assumed to be Venus (to the southeast) – it being the brightest “star” in night sky. After tracking the star-like object for approx: 30 seconds, out of the corner of my eye I spotted a shooting star – to my left (east). The shooting star shot rapidly across the sky and then disappeared, and I continued watching the star-like object as it continued on its’ southward journey for approx. another 30 seconds (although it may have been longer – perhaps a 1 minute) before losing sight of this object – i.e. in total, the object took between 1 and 1 ½ minutes to travel across the sky from its’ original north position to where I lost sight of it in the southern sky. Note: I did not track the object all the way to a southern horizon position – instead, it seemed to grow fainter until reaching a point where the object was no longer in sight. I went inside and told my wife what I saw, and then went back outside to see if I could locate the object a third time – however, the object did not reappear.

Hi Brian,
I still had too much adrenaline in my system after the White Stripes concert tonight, so I thought I would do some star gazing. Since my initial sighting, I have done some star gazing on a few occasions, and although I have spotted a few objects in the sky, I suspect these were simply airplanes as they were not traveling especially fast and they were low in the southern horizon, traveling east (I.e. based on direction, speed and trajectory, these were likely planes landing at the Saskatoon airport). Tonight however, after watching the sky for maybe 20 minutes or so, at approx 1:15AM I spotted a very faint star-like object directly overhead. It was moving very fast, heading south/south-west (from my location and perspective, it appeared to be heading just to the right of the almost-full moon). I tracked the object for about 20-30 seconds, until it was about 30-40 degrees above the southern horizon, and then lost sight of the object as the light radiating from the moon obscured my vision at this point. I watched the sky for approx. 10 more minutes as I hoped to spot the object again; however, the mosquitoes were bocoming unbearable by this time and so I gave up and came inside.
If you are aware of a likely explanation re: these sightings, I would appreciate hearing about them. Perhaps the objects are supersonic jets or concords? However, I did not hear any noise on either occasion -- do you know if jet aircraft would be audible if flying overhead if these aircraft were flying at a very high altitude (i.e. if inaudible, this would the lack of sound associated with the movement of these objects)?

Pickering, Ontario A Spherical Looking Object Hovering

Full Description of event/sighting: My friend and I were near the nuclear power plant in Pickering, Ontario, when my friend pointed in the sky and said ,did you see that bright flash of light and pointed in the direction. What I saw was sphere looking object, I can't tell you how high it was or how big it was, all I know is it didn't make any sounds and it was hovering for at least 10 seconds, then disappeared.

Full Description of event/sighting: My friend and I were near the nuclear power plant in Pickering, Ontario, when my friend pointed in the sky and said ,did you see that bright flash of light and pointed in the direction. What I saw was sphere looking object, I can't tell you how high it was or how big it was, all I know is it didn't make any sounds and it was hovering for at least 10 seconds, then disappeared.

Glenmore, Kelowna Object In The Shape Of A Diamond

Location of Sighting: Glenmore, Kelowna, B.C. Number of witnesses: Myself. Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Kind of in the shape of diamond with a round rear end.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was in my courtyard having a cigarette late one evening and I noticed something in the sky. First I thought it was an airplane, but it was suspended in mid air, way up there. I thought it might be a helicopter, but there's no way a helicopter would be that far up. I know it wasn't a satellite because it moved first then stopped. My boyfriend thought I was seeing things. But I know I'm not crazy and my neighbor has also witnessed his own sightings.

Southern Ontario Canada Two White Lights (Dots) Traveling Together

Also, I read further on UFOINFO, (just found the site yesterday) and noted several postings from you from June 19, 2007. All of them are from Southern Ontario, where I live, and speak of two white spheres which were travelling in tandem together across the sky.
Last week, (perhaps the 19th?), I was sitting out on my deck watching the clear night sky when I noticed 2 white dots, about the same size as a large star would, be travelling together at a constant speed.
At the time I put it down to satellites, which I have seen numerous times before where I live. But after reading these other sightings I clued into the fact that the satellites I see are higher in the sky and blink. These 2 dots were only about 20 degrees in the sky, not far above the horizon, and they didn't blink.
They were moving quite fast in a North South direction and were East of my location what seemed to be a far distance away.
Just before I lost sight of the dots behind the trees the one in the rear had a sudden burst of speed closing the gap between the two slightly. It then resumed its previous speed matching the other one.
Not a very spectacular sighting, but may have been my first. Thanks.

Full Description of event/sighting: My father and I were walking home from the theater and we noticed a white oval shaped object in the sky. It was completely white and looked nothing like a plane. Trail, B.C. UFO Sighting Report Comes In From The Trail Daily Times News

HBCC UFO Research contacted the Trail Daily Times in search of any information the newspaper might have received over the June 17, 2007 "jet" aircraft sound that was heard over Trail, B.C. From what HBCC understands, KBS FM Radio and the Trail Daily News received numerous calls from Trail residents seeking information over the they heard that night. The residents thought a jet aircraft was either landing in their back yards, or possibly hitting the river, know one knew what was happening. The sound was so very aloud and frightening it scared some residents out of their beds and they ran outside to see if they were able to witness anything, although nothing was seen.
Anyway, I spoke to a nice lady from the Trail Daily Times over the incident, then a few days later the lady called me up and left a message on my answering machine. I called her back and we spoke at length about the jet aircraft sound, and a sighting report she heard about which just took place recently.
A resident from Trail said her and others were coming back into town (Trail, B.C.) from a barbeque which they had at a campsite, it had just turned dusk, probably around 9:00 p.m. when the witness saw a light traveling over the mountain and pointed it out to the other passengers in the vehicle. The witness asked if the driver might stop the car so they could have a better look at the object. But due to them driving on the Highway, the driver didn't think it would be a good place to pullover. From what HBCC gathers, the witness said she has never seen anything like it in her life, meaning the object. The other passengers of the car told her it was the ISS (International Space Station). The witness went on to describe what she saw, the object was bigger than the Moon, looked like it had slats of some sort on it and a green like chain hanging down from the center of the object. Also the object had lights that shone up into the heavens.
HBCC's side note: I am glad to see a safe round trip for the Shuttle Astronauts, Atlantis landed at 3:49 p.m. EDT on June 22, 2007. Atlantis landed at Edwards concluding a successful assembly mission to the International Space Station with Commander Rick Sturckow and Pilot Lee Archambault at the controls.

Glace Bay, Nova Scotia Two Sightings, Object Reversed It's Direction

Location of Sighting: On my back patio deck. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 2 Shape of objects: Two bright balls of light one slightly orange other white.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was scanning the sky with my nephew to see if I could spot anything moving, because I have over the last 7 months seen objects on a regular basis flying through the night sky that are very strange indeed. Only one month ago I watched a very bright orange ball of light around 11:40 p.m. time move very slowly straight across the sky at approx: - 30,000 feet then it accelerated and climbed up and out of sight so fast, and so steep a climb that it was amazing and definitely not an airplane because they fly over the house on a regular basis. Anyway I was hoping I would see something to show my nephew and that we did, he spotted two very bright balls of light side by side flying towards my house at approx 30-35,000 feet then they slowed down a little bit and instantly reversed their direction and started flying upwards at a very steep incline and a very high rate of speed until they went out of sight. I don't know about planes but I'm pretty sure the G-forces that would be involved in that kind of maneuver would probably crush a human pilot. I'm sorry I don't have any pictures, but I'm going to get a digital camera as soon as I can. I thought it would be nice to share my sighting with someone else who thinks that we are not alone.

Pickering Nuclear Generating Station, Ontario Object Dark And Rectangular

HBCC UFO Research does not release or post personal information what so ever unless instructed to do so. As most of the reports I receive read, "thank you to the witness for their report". It is most important that folks who have had a sighting to know their privacy is fully respected here at HBCC UFO Research.
Full Description of event/sighting: I am hesitant to make a report like this but the object I observed over the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station on the 25th of June, 2007 was very similar to that reported over the station by other people so it made me realize that I wasn't the only one who thought that this object was a bit odd. I would appreciate that my name not be used (even my first name) as my credibility may come into question if this information became public knowledge.
I presently work at the Pickering Nuclear Generating station near Toronto and I witnessed the object described over the station by others on the FILER'S FILES # 26 - 2007 report.
I start my shift at 7:00AM but usually arrive at around 6:00AM as I have breakfast in the cafeteria before going to work. My first sighting of the object happened on the morning of the 25th of June, 2007. I had just cleared security and was leaving the security building to enter the administration building when I glanced up to see an object that seemed rectangular in shape. The object was fixed in a horizontal position hanging over the back of the turbine auxiliary bay on the A side of the building.
What caught my attention was that it was something I had never noticed from that location before and because it was so perfectly stationary I stopped walking to take a better look. At first I was thinking that it may have been part of the superstructure on the top of the building as it was so immobile. After thinking about it for a few moments I concluded that it must be part of the building and it was connected by a guide wire or something. I dismissed the original sighting as being irrelevant and went inside and quickly forgot about it.
Around 9:00 AM I had to attend to a job I was involved with out in the screen house building located behind the plant. (South of the main building toward Lake Ontario). After walking from the screen house going west I looked up and saw the same object again and this time it was a bit higher and now located about 200 feet, above and slightly west of the vacuum building structure. (The top of the vacuum building is about 200 feet and this was about 200 to 300 feet above it). I watched it for about 5 minutes and it did not move. When I say this I really mean it. It was absolutely stationary and that is the reason I stood there watching it. In my mind no objects in flight are so stationary and that is the reason it caught my attention.
After watching it for a bit I saw a friend of mine and I pointed it out to him. His analysis was that it maybe a kite being flown from Frenchman's Bay, located to the west of the plant. I was somewhat inclined to agree with him and went back into the plant to continue my work.
Later on in the morning I had the opportunity to walk out to the back of the plant again and I looked up to where it was and it was gone. I searched the sky and to my amazement I saw it again. It had changed locations. This time it was situated over the cooling water inflow behind the vacuum building structure at about even with its height (around 200 feet).
I watched it for a couple of minutes but again dismissed it as being man made as I figured it had to be.
Later on in the afternoon around 02:00 PM I walked back out again to see it in the same place behind the vacuum building structure. It had not moved. I again used some excuse to write it off as being explainable as I had no other evidence to suggest otherwise outside of its very stationary position in the air that did not seem natural in my mind.
When I looked for it the next day there was nothing to be seen. The object was no longer there.
I have been looking since but have not seen anything unusual. I will keep looking as it has intrigued me and I really want to know what that object was.
It reminded me of some sort of surveillance drone as it seemed to be observing plant activities. In retrospect I should have informed security but I was thinking they wouldn't even follow it up. The reason I say this is that during the day I told a number of people about the object and they responded in such an apathetic manner that I was dissuaded to tell anyone else.
The object was dark and rectangular and may have been the size of a 45 gallon drum. It was positioned horizontally not vertically. I did not have any magnifying device so it was not very discernable.
I don't make any claims that this was not a man made object but its behavior was quite peculiar.

Full Description of event/sighting: I am hesitant to make a report like this but the object I observed over the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station on the 25th of June, 2007 was very similar to that reported over the station by other people so it made me realize that I wasn't the only one who thought that this object was a bit odd. I would appreciate that my name not be used (even my first name) as my credibility may come into question if this information became public knowledge.
I presently work at the Pickering Nuclear Generating station near Toronto and I witnessed the object described over the station by others on the FILER'S FILES # 26 - 2007 report.
I start my shift at 7:00AM but usually arrive at around 6:00AM as I have breakfast in the cafeteria before going to work. My first sighting of the object happened on the morning of the 25th of June, 2007. I had just cleared security and was leaving the security building to enter the administration building when I glanced up to see an object that seemed rectangular in shape. The object was fixed in a horizontal position hanging over the back of the turbine auxiliary bay on the A side of the building.
What caught my attention was that it was something I had never noticed from that location before and because it was so perfectly stationary I stopped walking to take a better look. At first I was thinking that it may have been part of the superstructure on the top of the building as it was so immobile. After thinking about it for a few moments I concluded that it must be part of the building and it was connected by a guide wire or something. I dismissed the original sighting as being irrelevant and went inside and quickly forgot about it.
Around 9:00 AM I had to attend to a job I was involved with out in the screen house building located behind the plant. (South of the main building toward Lake Ontario). After walking from the screen house going west I looked up and saw the same object again and this time it was a bit higher and now located about 200 feet, above and slightly west of the vacuum building structure. (The top of the vacuum building is about 200 feet and this was about 200 to 300 feet above it). I watched it for about 5 minutes and it did not move. When I say this I really mean it. It was absolutely stationary and that is the reason I stood there watching it. In my mind no objects in flight are so stationary and that is the reason it caught my attention.
After watching it for a bit I saw a friend of mine and I pointed it out to him. His analysis was that it maybe a kite being flown from Frenchman's Bay, located to the west of the plant. I was somewhat inclined to agree with him and went back into the plant to continue my work.
Later on in the morning I had the opportunity to walk out to the back of the plant again and I looked up to where it was and it was gone. I searched the sky and to my amazement I saw it again. It had changed locations. This time it was situated over the cooling water inflow behind the vacuum building structure at about even with its height (around 200 feet).
I watched it for a couple of minutes but again dismissed it as being man made as I figured it had to be.
Later on in the afternoon around 02:00 PM I walked back out again to see it in the same place behind the vacuum building structure. It had not moved. I again used some excuse to write it off as being explainable as I had no other evidence to suggest otherwise outside of its very stationary position in the air that did not seem natural in my mind.
When I looked for it the next day there was nothing to be seen. The object was no longer there.

Regina, Saskatchewan A Flashing Object

Approach Direction: South-East Departure Direction: North-West Witness Direction: I was facing South.
Description: I was looking in the sky like I always do after I get home from work. I was sitting on my deck facing South. In the SE part of the sky, about 1:30 a.m. when I saw a huge flash in the sky. I didn't really know what it was. I dismissed it as an eye trick.
Until about 5 seconds later it flashed again, a few degrees NW from its previous position. The object was just a very dimly lit until it flashed again. The strange thing was, it looked like it was slowing down before each flash. It didn't make a sound as it traveled in the night sky. This sighting only lasted about 2-3 minutes, and I was the only witness. Anyone else see this?
Color/Shape: Bright white light----flash mode. Dim White light ------ flight mode.
Height & Speed: This object/light had to have been above Earth's shadow. Hard to judge speed and height.
TV/Radio/Press: This happened in the early morning, very doubtful that this had been reported yet, or if it ever will be.
