Bright Orange Lights Over Lake Ontario Seen From Pulaski New York

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  First week of November 2011

Time:  Evening.

Hello. I saw your post on Google, after searching for "bright orange lights lake Ontario". My boyfriend lives along the shore of lake Ontario on the very eastern edge, near Pulaski, New York and the mouth of the Salmon River. The first week of November 2011 ( we are not sure if it was the 3rd, 4th, or 5th) we saw a very bright orange light directly west.

At first we thought it might b the moon, but I disregarded that immediately as it was not as big and in the wrong direction. Maybe a planet? But again in the wrong direction. I used the star walk application on my phone to see if it was a star, yet there were few and none very bright in that location.

The light stayed hovering above the water for 30 minutes, then descended. After returning from our walk, the light was back, we viewed it through binoculars. We saw that it was 2 orange lights. Too far above the water to b a boat, too low to be an aircraft, too steady too be a flare.

The second sighting of orange lights went into the water after about 20-30 minutes. My boyfriend thought that he saw smoke or steam when they hit the water. He has seen these same lights too a lesser extent 3 or 4 times, but this time they were a lot more prominent.

According to his neighbor, he has been seeing them since the 1970's, though he isn't very reliable.

We are both very skeptical in regards to UFO's, but this was an unknown flying object. Known to someone maybe, but not to us. My boyfriend tells me that he believes there is a military zone in the middle of lake Ontario, so it could have been a drone, or perhaps a bomb of some sort yet it was absolutely silent as you said in your post.

I am writing so that you know you were not the only one to see them. We saw them way down on the eastern end as well. If you get any information about what they were please let me know and I will do the same! I'm glad to have found someone to share this very odd/unique experience with. Thank you.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Bright Orange Light Seen Over Steenburg Lake Ontario

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  September 4, 2011

Time:  Evening.

Hi, on Saturday September 4th, 2011, my partner and I were sitting on the cottage deck with his family on Steenburg Lake, Ontario, and we saw a bright orange light move across the sky. We initially thought it was lights from a plane, but it was too bright.

We ruled out a comet or shooting star, because there was no tail (and again was too bright). It looked like it was glowing and we thought it is probably something on fire, entering the earth's atmosphere.

We are trying to figure out what it was, and I came across your website. I thought that whoever had noticed something similar last year might be interested to know what we'd seen.

Thanks.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Bright Orange Light Over Lake Mille Lacs Malmo Minnesota

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  July 2, 2011

Time:  11:30 p.m.

On Saturday night my friends and I were on a walk, we are 15-18 completely sober, clear skies, not quite pitch dark. I see this bright orange light, thinking it was Mars at first, then all the sudden it quickly zig zagged like one, two three, four times and then stopped in the middle and got big like it was coming closer to us.

It then all the sudden it got small and disappeared. Probably about the span of 30 seconds for the whole occurrence.

There were 4 of us that saw it, and none of us could explain what it was. It was the most chilling experience to see that unfold in front of my eyes. I have heard of UFOs, but never saw anything with my own eyes like that.

Have you received any other recent sightings like this?

Bright Orange Fiery Light Over The Eastern Shore Of Lake Ontario

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  July 24, 2011

Time:  Approxamtlty 9:30 p.m.

We have a camp on the Eastern Shore of lake Ontario. Around 9:30pm from the north to the south shore a bright orange fiery light appear to go across the sky. It was at eye level and it was not a plane the color was too bright orange to be either.

Could it have been a satellite not sure. It traveled about a minute or so in that direction, then a sharp 45 degree turn and headed west for about another minute then disappeared.

4 adults were watching and then we went back inside. About another 5 or so minutes, maybe 10 it appeared again out on the western horizon. At that point it came east towards us for about 30 seconds or so and then it was gone. What do you think.

Never believed in UFOs until last night when we seen it over Brantford.

Bright Orange Ball Over Matlock Lake Winnipeg Manitoba

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  July 23, 2011

Time:  Evening.

Hi Brian, I live in Matlock, along the shore of Lake Winnipeg. Last Saturday night, I walked to the pier to enjoy the still night with a full moon.

A couple of other people were there. Suddenly we were all watching a bright orange ball moving west to east over the lake, at 2:30 from the horizon (horizon being 3 and 9).

No sound at all, although it seemed close enough to hear it if it was a plane. The glow was in the front of it, as it moved, but it wasn’t on fire, it wasn’t falling. It was going much too fast for a plane or satellite.  As it crossed the lake it just disappeared, it didn’t fade out of sight. There, not there.

Any thoughts? I have tracked down footage of very similar online, from many locations in the worlds. I think it was a UFO. That’s my best guess.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Boomerang Shaped UFO Seen Looking West Over Salt Lake Toward Oquirre Mountains Utah

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  November, 1980

Time:  Dusk.

Number of witnesses: 1

Number of Objects: 1

Shape of Objects: Wing, chevron, boomerang.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was looking west over Salt Lake toward the Oquirre Mountains. The sky was cloudless, but then I saw a dark shape. I wondered if it was a cloud or a plane. I thought it was a cloud, but it looked too regular in shape, so I figured it must be an airplane.

It moved in a straight line of travel at the same altitude, which must have been several thousand feet to clear the mountains. It was a dark grey blue in color, about the same color as the sky, but a bit darker. The sun had just set about half an hour before I initially sighted it, so at first it stood out against the sky somewhat.

As the darkness grew it blended in with the sky until it almost disappeared. For this reason I was afraid to go find a camera or call friends. Plus I still thought it might be an airplane as the closer it got the more it looked like it had wings.

However, it made absolutely no sound and there were no lights on it. When it was about halfway from the mountains to me it was so dark that I could only make it out by the fact that it was blotting out the stars. It increased in size until it took up a huge portion of the visible sky.

When it was directly overhead I could clearly see the shape. It still looked about the same color as the sky, blue black or grey. However, I could see irregularities in the color of the surface like you can see plowed fields from an airplane.

It was made of rectangular and square pieces of almost the same color that were joined together by straight seams. It was chevron shaped, so it looked like a "fat" wing or a boomerang. It had curved corners, not sharp.

Imagine sergeant's stripes and take the outline and round the corners and you pretty much have it. It was a bit "fatter" in the middle than at the tips of the wing. It was a huge flying wing with no fuse, large and made no noise at all. The underside appeared as if heat waves or some other atmospheric distortion affected my ability to see it, almost as if it were "cloaked" somehow.

It continued in a straight line until it disappeared from sight. It couldn't possibly have been an airplane because when it was directly overhead it blotted out most of the sky and extended almost from horizon to horizon. So, if it were at a normal flight altitude for a passenger jet it would take a hundred or more of them wingtip to wingtip to make it appear that large.

I called out to my friends, but no one came out. No one believed me when I told them, and I pretty much quit talking about it until the Phoenix lights of 1997, when I realized that it was almost exactly what I had seen, but with lights on it, i.e. a huge "boomerang" shaped craft that made no noise and was about the same color as the sky.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

4 Or 5 Orange Lights Over Salt Lake Valley Utah

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  September 29, 2011

Time:  9:40 p.m.

Hi Brian, I want to tell you about something I saw last night (September 29, 2011).  At 9:40 p.m., I was driving south on 700E (towards 7500S), and I noticed 4 or 5 lights in the sky. They were orange and seemed not to be moving. I kept looking up and trying to figure out what the hell they were, while also trying not to wreck my car because I was driving.

Finally (about 90 seconds after seeing the lights) I found a parking lot to park and get out of my car to look at them. By that time they had disappeared, except for 1. It was traveling west, and it made no sound.

The orange light pulsated on it. As it traveled west, the light extinguished and it disappeared in the middle of the sky. Then another orange light came from the east and did the same thing, eventually disappearing in the middle of the sky by turning its light off.

A car driving by spotted me in the parking lot. There were 2 people in it, a guy and a girl. The girl excitedly screamed "did you see that!?"  Then the guy mentioned "we saw about 8 of them and they were hovering down close to the houses.

The girl asked "did you see the one with the weird shape?" Something about a "triangle top." I answered no, because I hadn't gotten a good enough look, but they obviously did.

The lights came and went pretty quickly, but a bunch of people had to have seen them other than me and those other two people. In your blog, I noticed it has been almost 1 year exactly since your sighting (Sept 30, 2010) and mine (Sept 29, 2011).

Not sure what to make of that, or any of this, but it sure is interesting. I've never seen anything like that in my life.

Thank you to the witness for the excellent report.

Diamond Driller Finds Sasquatch Tracks In The Harrison Lake And Up Toward The Fraser Canyon In British Columbia Canada

Diamond Driller Finds Sasquatch Tracks In The Harrison Lake And Up Toward The Fraser Canyon In British Columbia Canada

I live in Merritt and am very interested in the Sasquatch. Do you know of any sightings around this area of British Columbia?

Thank you for your reply, I could not find anything about Martindale’s sighting, it really does not matter. I seen the tracks when I was diamond drilling on the east side of Harrison Lake up toward the Fraser Canyon.

It walked up where we had a wash tub tied with wire to catch water for the drill, the property we were drilling was (company name removed) and it was a molly property (Molybdenite) and after we saw the tracks, we were told by the owner of the claims that (name removed) from Hope was packing samples out of there years before and they were struck by a blizzard and they found a cave to take shelter in and then got looking around in the cave and found beds lined with grass that were up off the floor, he assumed they were Sasquatch beds.

I thought you might like to know about this, Spuzzum was where you would have come out in the Fraser Canyon if we had of continued on through the mountains.

Image Below: Map of Harrison Lake, B.C. and the surrounding areas.

There was a hot springs down the valley from the camp where we would go and bathe/soak some evenings and that was the same area that the cave was supposed to be in. There was a path down to the hot springs that we used and it was made by game in the area, although we used to see a female grizzly with a cub, she treed my helper once when he went down to the camp for gasoline.

We had to go looking for him when he never returned and he was in the top of a cedar tree hollering to watch out for the bear. I also think the path was used  by the Sasquatch, but we never looked for tracks as we had not yet seen the tracks up above the tree-line where we worked.

We also had a prospector that walked the area picking up samples and he was never bothered by the Grizzly as he tied a metal pie plate around his neck and hit it with his hunting knife as he walked.

He said the early warning was what the bears needed.

Hope you find this interesting.

Flaming Orange Light Over Cayuga Lake State Park New York

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  July 9, 2010

Time:  Approxamtlty 9:00 p.m.

Hello, I was just searching the web to see if I could find information on similar sightings to the one we had on September 9, 2010.

That night we were camping at Cayuga Lake State park and around 9:00 p.m. we witnessed what I could only describe as a flaming orange light (looked like a giant paper bag on fire) come up from the horizon.

It seemed to float slowly up into the sky for a minute of so then the flame seemed to go out but we could still see the faint glow of the object which then proceeded to fly off to the west at a high rate of speed.

Never seen anything like it. Hope this info is useful. Cheers.

Police Officers Freaked Out And Many Witness To UFO Sighting Round Lake Illinois

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date: April 25, 2008

Time: Approxamtlty 8:45 p.m.

Brian, the unfortunate part of this story is that I didn't experience it first hand. The other unfortunate part is that my co-worker would never report this to anyone he doesn't personally know for fear of ridicule. When I got to work this morning, my co-worker was acting a bit odd. When I greeted him he said ". I got to tell you something really bizarre. I didn't even tell my wife because she'll think I'm crazy."

My co-worker lives in Round Lake, Illinois which is rather far north. He was a short distance from his home on route 120 (I believe he said) which has some farm area and quite a bit of space.

He tensed up and got very wide eyed and intense. This is what he told us (another employee and myself), not verbatim but this is rather close.

As I was driving I saw this huge light at ground level, but still above the field it was over.

I kept driving, but I saw cars pulled over with people out of their cars watching so I pulled over. I asked some people what they thought and I said I thought it was some equipment being used or kids screwing around. But the light just sat there for awhile.

Nothing happened so I started to drive away when I noticed the light wasn't getting any smaller. I saw more cars pulled off up ahead again so I pulled over again and watched it for awhile. By this point a cop showed up with his lights on. He asked everyone what was going on, I told him what I thought it was but that something was weird about it. So then another cop/car pulls up and says, 'you can only see it from the one side, I drove around the property.' Now, we all think it some sort of lighting rig.

So the cops head out across the field towards the light when it shot directly up in the air like 20 feet and disappeared. Not flew away, disappeared. The cops came running back pretty freaked out. I hung around while they searched the area and found not a trace of anything out there. At this point is was 11:30 p.m."

We get off work at 8pm, which would have put him in that area at 8:45. My co-worker has a wife and a 3 year old son that he adores. He is an incredibly nice and liable person. In 5 years of working with him I have never heard him exaggerate any details nor have we ever discussed my passion for UFO's and Chemtrails. I try to keep that stuff away from work (until now!). He was genuinely scared when he talked about this. I could see it in his face, clearly. I need to get some more details like what police squad showed up, how big was the light, etc. I wonder if the cops will file a report or if it will get squashed?

Man! I wish I were there! So much stuff is happening in our area (the Midwest). Let's see? Sonic Booms/Earthquake/Chemtrails/Hail Storms/Orbs/Strange Light/Increasing Sightings. How much more needs to happen before we get some answers!? In the meantime I will keep a watchful eye on what going on and continue reporting to your site. Thanks again for providing us with as much proof and truth humanly possible!

Thank you very much to the person for passing along the information, another excellent sighting.

Aircraft Scrambled Over UFO Sighting At Lake Saint Claire Just Off Selfridge AFB Near Mt Clemens Michigan

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  Winter of 1966 - 1967.

In 1965 it was common to see strange things flying around the radar dome up on the mountain. Often they did not show up on radar, but were visible just outside the dome itself.

Sometime in the Winter of 66-67 we had a couple of "things" flying over Lake Saint Claire just off Selfridge AFB, near Mt Clemens MI. They scrambled two F-106s and of course they caught nothing.

It is difficult when the other aircraft can suddenly accelerate to high speed and do and 90 degree turn at that speed.

The Air Force said it was swamp gas, and anyone who disagreed could stay in the base confinement (jail) until they realized they saw nothing. Like Sgt. Schultz on Hogan's heroes, I see nothing, nothing, nothing!

Thank you to the person for this information.

Triangular Shaped UFO Hovering And Missing Time Moose Lake Area Wisconsin

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  2002

Time:  11:00 - 11:30 p.m.

I also wanted to pass along another thing that happened to me in 2002. I was on my way up to see a friend in Two Harbors, Mn. It was a Thursday night and I left the house at 10:00 p.m. I was about an hour and a half into the trip which put me up around the Moose Lake area. Being 11:30 p.m. on a Thursday night I was the only thing on the road. Up in the distance I could see what I thought to be an emergency vehicle on the shoulder.

The closer I got I see it was up in the air off past the fence running along the highway. The object was around 200 feet off the ground and was a triangle shape. It had a light on each corner and they were alternating red, blue and green.

There was also a dome shaped thing on the bottom that was also lit up and looked like mother of pearl. It looked like it was liquid and was mixing or oozing around in there.

I stopped the car on the shoulder and got out. I leaned on the roof of the car and watched it for what I would guess to be about 5 to 10 minutes. It then started to move off to the east and I got back in the car and continued on to my friends house. I should have arrived there at 12:30 a.m. or so. When I got there all the lights were off and I had to wake him.

He came to the door and said "What the heck took you so long?" "Do you know what time it is?" He said. "It's 2:30". I told him that I had not stopped anywhere except for a couple minutes to watch these strange lights. He just thought I was jerking his chain. I got back home on that Sunday and told my wife about the lights and drew her a picture of what I had observed.

She thought that it was pretty weird and folded the drawing up and put it in her jewelry box. Then in 2004 we had all kinds of crazy sightings as you know. I was on the internet and happened across Jerry Pippins website and when I clicked on his area called UFO FILES. Up popped the same triangle thing I had seen.

It's the same thing that Darrell Barker the police officer witnessed. The other night I was at the hotel my wife works at and happened to run into a lady that mentioned she is from the Moose Lake area. I couldn't help telling her about the sighting. She just smiled and told me that her husband was the Chief of Highway Patrol (retired). She went on to tell me that two officers had reported the same thing on the east side of the highway in 2002.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Small Egg Shaped Object Travelled Up And Back Inside Massive UFO Kootenay Lake North Of Boswell British Columbia

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  Early 1960s

Time:  Approximately 2:00 a.m.

Four teens left Creston, B.C. for a camping trip along side of Kootenay Lake just North Of Boswell, BC for the weekend. The fellows arrived at their camping location at around 10:00 p.m., set up the tents/camp and wandered about the area for a couple of hours goofing around.

Later on after chatting and watching the sky they shut things down for the night which was about 2:00 a.m. Just after they turned in a brilliant light caught everyone's attention (lit the entire area up) and the guys crawled out of their tents to watch  a large yellow/white globe (massive is size) descended and hovered over the lake at approximately 1000 feet, this happening directly out from their camp site.

A small bright egg shaped object came out of the bottom of the larger craft and descended to just over the lakes surface, and this to came to a hovering position.

From what the witness told me the egg shaped craft caused quite a disturbance on the water as it sat over the waters surface, although the teens were not able to see what it may have been doing, and they also were able to hear the sound of rushing water.

After approximately 20 to 30 seconds had past while watching this event, the smaller egg shaped craft traveled back up from where it came from, and back inside the large stationary globe.

Roughly ten seconds passed and the enormous globe traveled towards the north until they lost sight of it. Everyone was pretty scared and they all stayed awake that night, packed up their belongings and left for home early the next morning.

Fireball Type Object Hovering Over Okanagan Lake British Columbia

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  July 7, 2007

Time:  Approximately 1:30 a.m.

Hello, I just read an article in the Kelowna Capital News about some UFO sightings over Okanagan Lake last week.

Saturday night at about 1:30 a.m. (July 7) myself and two of my friends saw a similar “fireball” hovering over some trees that are visible from my back yard. This area is not directly over the lake but more towards Winfield.

It pulsed gently from yellow to red several times over about five minutes before fading out, flashing brightly once more and dropping straight down behind the tree line.

The only manmade object I might conceive it to be was a helicopter, but I’ve never seen a helicopter with lights this bright or this large. The pattern of light pulsations was irregular and not characteristic of an aircraft light or spotlight.

I’m wondering if anyone else reported a similar sighting last Saturday night. I haven’t been able to find a satisfactory explanation of what we saw. I wish I had a picture I could attach for you, but we could not get our camera ready before the object disappeared.

Thank you to the witness for their report.

Light Comes To A Stop And Splits Into 4 Sakinaw Lake Sunshine Coast British Columbia

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  August 7, 2003.

Time:  Approximately 10:15 p.m.

Dear Brian Vike, I too saw something strange in the sky, however this was the night of August 7th, 2003.

Here's my story:  My husband and I have a summer home at Sakinaw Lake which is on the Sunshine Coast in BC. One of my favorite things to do at night is to star gaze from the middle of the lake. The sky is so clear there compared to the city.

Anyways, on August 7th, I took my star gazing gear (blanket, pillow and flashlight) with me on my peddle boat and like usual snuggled down once I got to the middle of the lake. I usually stay out for a couple of hours and watch the shooting stars before peddling back to our home.

On this night approximately 10:15 p.m. or so, I spotted what I thought was another shooting star. It streaked across the sky heading southward then stopped. I thought the shooting star might burn out, but it didn't. Instead, the light split into 4 lights which formed a square (1 light in each corner).

One of the lights was brighter than the other 3, made me think it might be bigger than the others. It stayed in the square formation for 2 to 5 seconds before it changed forms again. Two lights stayed in place while the other 2 lights moved slightly away, then stopped.

The 4 lights together looked like a rectangle and stayed this way for 1 to 2 seconds. Then all of a sudden the 2 lights that moved to form the rectangle shot off northward, like parallel shooting stars, while the other 2 lights only separated slightly and remained stationary. One of the 2 lights that remained was the bright one.

I was shocked and couldn't believe what I saw.

I stayed there until 1:30 a.m. to see if the other 2 would come back. Then I tried to memorize the location of the 2 remaining lights before heading in, but they looked like stars amongst so many other stars. It was useless, so I peddled back home.

I told my husband and he suggested I look up UFO sightings on the internet. There are so many skeptics and believe me I would have been one too, that I said I don't think I'll bother.

My husband printed a copy of your article for me to read and that's how I read about the other sighting on July 28th, 2003 and also why I'm emailing you.

If you know or hear of any one else that saw what I did that night, please let me know. I would appreciate any information you can provide.

Thank you!

Yours truly.

Thank you to the eyewitness for their report.

UFO Shadowing Witnesses Car At East Northeast Murphysboro Lake Illinois

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Time:  8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Brian Vike's Note: In this report the witness did provide a lot of names, which I either removed or changed.

Location of Sighting: Back roads approximately 4-7 miles east-northeast Murphysboro Lake continuing to approximately 1 mile west of Cambria.

Number of witnesses: 6

Number of objects: 1, 2, or 3 depending on if they could morph or camouflage their appearance.

Full Description of event/sighting: Coming home from fishing at Murphysboro Lake one hot summer dusk (August 1994) my friends and I came within extremely close proximity to a very large pyramidal type black ship.

The first strange thing started when I was gazing out the window into the eastern sky as we had just decided to take the back roads back to Herrin from Murphysboro Lake. I believe it was myself who first piped up about the strange "star" that seemed to be shadowing us from a sort of strategic defense posture.

It was hovering over a field in the east 200-300 feet of the ground, 100- 200 yards away. The object was spherical, pulsating, "orbing" and began to shift to an orangish, yellowish, goldish "orbing". I notified my friends that something strange seemed to be keeping pace with us for some reason.

That's not a star. My friend says, yeah I see it too. My two other friends are also in the car. Sam is the driver. As we approached a "T" in the road up ahead we decided we should attempt to cut off the pulsating light ahead by making a right turn to the east.

As we made the right turn I was transfixed by the object of light and ever so unexpectedly the light turn right exactly when we did and maintained an exact parallel course to us after "shadowing" us for one minute or two more the object seemed to be advancing on our position.

The light became brighter and went out of sight for a moment. We realized in a second or two that it went over our heads ever so silently. At this point we stopped the car on the side of the road and got outside. We looked north in to a wooded valley, 100 yards away or so. We could clearly see that something had landed in the forest.

It appeared to be a large pyramidal structure that was very much stable. It seemed impossible that such a large structure could exist in those woods, because the trees were to dense 80-100 year old oak and hickory trees. You could see that the forest was dense, but the object was not.

There was a silver strobe light at the apex of this pyramid structure flashing at a quick rate as if charging up. The light was lighting up the entire forest. We were observing this from about seventy to a 100 yards away and about 20 30 feet from the north side of the road. My friend pipes up and says, lets go meet the aliens.

We thought about it for like one second and decided unanimously that we should leave considering that we know that there was a large pyramid type craft. The size of which could be the size of a large house or more. We decided we had to at least tell somebody about this and see if we could make any sense of what it is and what it's intentions were.

We were very worked up about this but in a very solemn, oh heck sort of way. We knew a friend who lived in that area of those back roads named John. I don't know his last name, but I do know that he is a well known mechanic in the area and we went to his place sort of at the beginning of Cambrias western back roads, so about a mile or two west of that is where the craft landed.

We raced off to John's place, he has a pond outside his country auto shop. We tell John he's got some crazy stuff flying around his backyard, and that a UFO just landed a mile or two that way in a wooded valley.  Another man was present and we told them both that we should go outside to check it out, because they would for sure see one or it.

So all six of us are standing out by his pond facing the north western sky in the direction it had landed. For 3-5 minutes we stood scanning the sky, I was looking east when I felt a presence on the left side of my head northwest. I turned and looked up at an object about 100 - 150 feet above our heads and about 200 feet NW of our location. The ship was a triangular shaped craft when viewed from the underside as it floated silently closer.

There were three amber, yellow colored lights. One at each apex of the triangular underside of the ship. There was one large diameter circular bluish white light in the center of the underside, which cast light directly down in a tube. There was what I call a search light scanning the area and lighting up the surrounding trees as the craft lit up the ground, trees, and us in a sweeping grazing motions.

The craft came to a pause directly above us at about 75 feet, it was completely silent and the size of about 3/4 of a football field. Looking up the side of the craft, it ascends at peak about a 75-100 feet above the base of the craft. The craft seemed to lack solidity while at same time being solid halfway to the top of the craft seemed to be a slit that appeared to be windows.

I could see light in the windows of an amber color and shadows moving within. I knew there were "people" of some kind in that craft. There was a red light zinging around the pyramid structure, approximately 50 feet above the base of this triangular pyramid dark metal, but dull as if sucking in light. At the apex of this structure I could see the silver strobe that had been lighting up the woods. It is my opinion that this ship can somehow shift, or phase from place to place and can exist in the same place at different times.

I don't know exactly how long the craft hovered above us, it could have been 20 seconds to a couple minutes. We couldn't really believe what we were seeing, but we were being forced to. This thing had intentions for us that night, I am sure of it, just by it's behavior alone.

This event changed my life forever. I would never look at the world the same again and the contacts kept happening in the area for over 4 or five years. I had a few more sightings, not as close as the others but still the same triangular craft near Herrin cemetery year or two later. A gentleman was ahead of me in his car and I saw a UFO, same type triangular floating above us a 100 feet or so.

I pull him over, he gets out and says he doesn't know what that is and it fly's away  ever so silently and darkly. Anyway there were many incidents that multiple witnesses were either chased or shadowed by these type of UFOs. I have waking dreams were I am paralyzed by an invisible presence in the room and could feel a sensation of being pulled off of the bed I was sleeping on.

I have been attacked in these waking dreams frequently at my mother and fathers residence in the past.  My grandfather who built the house said in the forties or so he saw something fly over the yard in broad daylight and did not make a noise. My grandmother said a glowing ball of "fire" came into her living room through a closed window and went back out that same window after buzzing around the room. My grandfather on my mothers side would curse "demons" at his bedside and was thoroughly obsessed with the devil.

P.S. - The exact dates of these occurrences  are unknown but possibly could be ascertained or delivered through research and interview if needed (main event occurred in August 1994, all of my sightings occurred from 1993 - 1998 or so) waking dreams occurred more frequently in mother and fathers house around May - August 2000 Grandpa dads side flying house sighting 30's or 40's can be corroborated by other family that said he told them about it as well--grandpa moms side took mom and dad to weird people 1977 or so --- cursed "demons" at the foot of his bed for sure in the 80's and probably his whole life.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Multiple Reports Of Flying Saucer Over Tuc-El-Nuit Lake Oliver British Columbia

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date: Early to mid 1950's ?
Time: Early afternoon.

Location of Sighting: Tuc-El-Nuit Lake Oliver British Columbia Canada
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Saucer shape on top and bottom.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: Now this is a really interesting sighting report since there appears to have been more people who witnessed this object as the person reporting mentions the radio station carried a news story on this craft being observed by others.

I would like to request from others who were in that area at the time and if they saw this craft, would you please be kind enough to contact me here at brian_vike@telus.net with the details of what you saw. Thank you, Brian.

Full Description of event/sighting: I recall I was 8 or 10 years old and playing by myself in our back yard on the west side of Tuc-el-Nuit Lake.

I was not looking at the lake, but was facing north. A movement over my right shoulder caught my attention and I turned towards the lake.

Flying very low above the lake and coming from the south was a very strange looking airplane. It had no wings, no propeller, was the same shape top and bottom and made no sound. The size was a bit bigger than any plane I'd seen before and the only planes I had seen were small private planes. I'd never been to a big airport.

The colour a silver grey. The lake was only half a mile wide at that point so "the plane" was quite close and only about three times as high as our rooftop. If it had been a float plane I would have expected it to be landing at the far end of the lake.

It was moving only a little faster than I would have expected a plane to fly. I watched it continue up the lake then went back to my playing.

Later when I went in the house I told my mother about the strange plane I'd seen.

A short time later she heard on the 5:00 p.m. news that a "flying saucer" had been seen by a great many people flying north up the Okanagan Valley. It fit the description of what I'd seen so she told me about it. The radio station was CKOK Penticton.

I wasn't overly impressed as I'd never even heard of flying saucers. My parents were aware of them, but it was never a topic that they had any reason to discuss. To me it was just a funny looking airplane. In fact, if it had not been on the news I doubt that I would have remembered it as the years went by. Of course to see it now would be very exciting and I would pay a lot more attention!

Over the years I've looked at archives of sightings in B.C., but have never seen mention of that event. That surprises me a bit since several people apparently reported it to the radio station at the time.

Unfortunately I can't give the exact year. I just know it was after 1950 and before 1960. It was around the time that my parents were part of a team of volunteers that had to report any planes they heard or saw during their shift. My parents shift was midnight to 2:00 a.m..

Both being teachers they used the time to mark papers! Years later when I asked why they were doing that, they couldn't remember what it was about, but that it was being done in more areas than Oliver.

Around that same time period there was another sighting in the sky that I noted, but did not think about more than just briefly. I was in the same area of Oliver playing with some friends. This was early afternoon in the summer.

They were standing above me on a mound of dirt and as I was looking at them I noticed three bright lights in the sky to the north. They looked like very bright stars and formed a small triangle. We all watched them for a while but they didn't move so we went on playing.

Over the next half hour whenever we looked up they were there. Since I remembered my father saying that as a boy in Alert Bay (1920's) he and a friend once watched several unmoving "stars" for a whole afternoon I just assumed that we also were looking at stars.

Yes we knew that it was unusual to see stars in the daylight. The reason I remembered the event was that I was pleased that I'd seen something special that my dad had seen when he was about my age. Since then I've looked for stars in the daytime sky when the air is very clear but have never seen any.

I realize this report is from a long time ago but I am hoping you have records of this from other people. If nothing else I appreciate the opportunity to at last tell someone about the event. Thank-you.

Thank you to the witness for the wonderful report.

If you seen this object, or anything else like it, would you please contact me, Brian Vike at brian_vike@telus.net

Between 1954 and 1958, Tuc-El-Nuit Lake Oliver, British Columbia Canada (Daylight sighting)

This is a bit of an unusual addition to a report you posted earlier [see above].

My older sister submitted the report "Tuc-El-Nuit Lake Oliver, British Columbia 1950s Flying Saucer". She emailed me to take a look at this site, and I read her submission. Now, it gets a bit strange.

This was the very first time I heard about her seeing this event. That in itself is not particularly strange, but I saw something similar, and she did not know of my sighting nor I hers! Reading her report was a bit of a shock, to say the least.

What follows is a description of what I saw sometime between 1954 and 58. I was somewhere between 4 and 8 years old.

It was a bright day with a solid high overcast, and, I believe, in the afternoon. No wind and a warm day.

I was outside by the lake shore, facing south. Something attracted my attention and I looked up high to my left in time to see three objects streak towards the south. They were moving much faster than any ducks flew, and were absolutely silent.

There was no flapping of wings or any body movement whatsoever. They did not appear to be descending, but got smaller as they flew out of sight behind a row of poplar trees about 100m away.

There were three objects, flying in a "V" formation. They looked to me at the time like ducks with no tails and very short stubby wings. They were dark in colour and I saw no markings or distinguishable features.

My age and lack of any other reference led me to assume they were just weird birds. What seemed unusual to me at the time other than the weird shape was the speed and silence of their flight.

They appeared to me as ducks would look if they were flying 10 or 15m above my head. I should have seen details and heard the murmuring that ducks make as they fly.

I told my Mom and Dad about the "ducks". They questioned me, but couldn't really come to any satisfactory conclusions and we just shrugged and moved on.

My sister and I talked about these events for the first time today. Neither of us was aware of the other's sighting. We are not really able to figure out who saw what first, but we are both certain that we did not know of each other's story. We are equally certain that we saw what we saw, and are not "remembering" a story we heard from the other.

FYI. Tuc-el-nuit Lake is, according to Indian legend, the birthplace of Ogopogo. He apparently swam up the Okanagan River to Okanagan Lake. The "Okanagan Arch" is also visible from this area.

Thank you to the witnesses for their reports.
