Full Description of event/sighting: I went outside to bring my cat in for the night and I happened to look up at the sky. We get a lot of air traffic over our house, but I've never seen anything like this.
I'm wondering if it was a Stealth plane because it made absolutely no noise and it was very large. I can't really say how big it was as the sky was partially overcast and I couldn't compare it to the mountains (which would give me an idea of how high it was flying as well as it's size).
It seemed to be flying quite low, and was much larger than the planes that normally fly over our place. It had 5 orange/red coloured lights which were steady - they didn't flash like the lights of a plane usually do. I think there were 3 on one side, and two on the other making it look a little off kilter.
I believe it was a triangular shape. I couldn't actually see the body, but it blocked out an area of sky. I saw it for maybe 5 seconds and then it was gone behind the clouds. It didn't seem to be travelling very fast.
The thing that really made me take notice was that there was absolutely no sound whatsoever. For something so large, well that is why I'm wondering if it was perhaps a Stealth or some sort of spy plane. Have you had any similar reports from anyone.
