Full Description of event/sighting: At the age of 13, I was larking about with a friend at a street corner under an incandescent street light. I happened to look up into the night sky and saw a dim emerald green object which would disappear if I looked directly at it. It was bigger than the moon and visibly cratered. My hair stood on end as though I was looking at a menacing ghost. My friend noticed my distraction and asked what was wrong. For some reason, I was too terrified to tell him what I was looking at. This might have been because I was scared I was hallucinating. Years later as an airman in the RCAF, I was watching an Aero Medicine WW2 fighter pilot training film on how to spot enemy aircraft at night. The technique required one not to stare directly at a suspected sighting but just off its suspected location. Once I understood the physiology of day and night vision, I realized that my sighting as a boy was not a hallucination. Further research brought me to an interesting article from a USAF radar site claiming that a spherical object was orbiting the earth on the shadow side. This and other characteristics suggested that extraterrestrials use asteroids to travel through space and that UFOs are shuttles.I was also involved in "Blue Book" while in the RCAF.
Thank you to the witness for the fascinating report.
