UFO Lands/Alien Beings At Connersville Indiana (Written Report/Audio Report)

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

In the audio interview, detail is provided about what was seen by the eyewitness. (Audio Below) https://jmp.sh/b50iN0F

Note from Brian Vike – I typed up some of what was taking place from the audio interview, but there is a lot more that was going on in the area. This can be heard on the audio.

Date:  1973

Brian Vike spoke to a lady by the name of Barb, (Barb is not the ladies real name) who related information about a UFO which had landed. The information came from family members.

Here is how the lady I spoke to found out about this UFO incident we are talking about in this report. She went over to her cousins, Donald Wagner’s home which was in Connersville, Indiana.

She walked up to the house and entered to see a woman sitting on the couch crying. Barb asked Donald, what was the matter with the lady who was crying, Donald said, you didn’t hear about what took place last night, of course she said no.

Donald went on to tell Barb that the lady was upset because the military had taken her husband, along with another man for investigation and were not going to release them for a couple of weeks, this had the women very upset as you can imagine.

Barb wondered what happened and why the  military would be involved.

Barb was told that last night a UFO landed in a factory’s parking lot. The craft landed between work shifts, which had workers coming and going from the factory, and they were all dumbfounded as to what they were witnessing.

Barb was told the police arrived and saw this, plus the many employees at the plant. Everyone continued to watch what was unfolding when two alien beings (aliens described as having almond shaped eyes and pear shape head) were observed floating towards two men.

One man fainted, and the other man seemed to be some how communicating with the alien being. Then this man (this was the husband of the lady who was so upset) bent down, picked up his buddy who had fainted and carried him into the UFO, following the two beings.

Barb was told the two men were in the UFO craft for a short period, while the UFO was still on the ground, then later the two men were seen coming out of the craft, but one was still carrying the other.

At this point of the conversation I had with Barb, she said the other part of the story she got was, the military stepped in after the UFO had left, took the two men into custody for observation. Barb said that was all she knew at this point.

Now the next day (Barb told me she was going through a divorce and that she was hiding out from her husband with her two children as he was not a very nice man) she went to her mother-in-laws or sister-in-laws, I could not quite make out who it was, but they were very good friends and Barb told her what it was she heard. Then all of a sudden, this close friend said, do I have a story for you!

There is a lot more you have to hear on this audio report. This entire conversation, or what I was told is nothing short of amazing.

Thank you to the witness for their report.

Thank you to UFOINFO for sending the case to me for additional follow up. Thank you John !

Military Helicopters Peruse Black Triangle UFO In The Sky Over Little Rock Arkansas (Report/Audio Interview)

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

The 43 minutes audio interview can be found at the following link. https://jmp.sh/gKOARu5

Essentially, two vehicles came swooping in toward the nearby landing-strip of the Little Rock Airport, just after twilight. About 6 minutes earlier I had noticed another plane leaving the same airspace as it took off S-W towards Dallas, at first making this appear to be a sensible, well choreographed normal flight-pattern.

Both were descending at an unacceptably high rate of speed, not unlike Flt.175, as it approached the WTC South Tower, just a few months prior. I instantly slowed from my usual 58mph freeway speed, to about 48mph, just slow enough to capture the active motion against a relatively stable foreground. It suddenly dawned on me that these aircraft were in hot pursuit!

Having a high degree of spatial recognition, I could see that I was approximating a situation where I might be entering a point of impact, so I slowed my vehicle as much as I could, practically do without serious risk to other traffic. Even 39mph suddenly felt like a suicide rate, so I dropped it down to second and got into the creeper-lane. That's when it all became clear that I was observing a real UFO.

The vehicles leveled-off at an altitude of just about 1,000 feet. and continued at me for about 1 mile. Their additional descent went unnoticed until the first craft slowed to a nearly parked position. Behind him, was a full battle-ready Huey helicopter which also came to a sudden halt, much as though he was scared of getting more than an inch closer.

Very gently, the Black Triangle proceeded to move forward and I rolled to a position just beyond it's wingspan. At that point, it was about 1 1/2 blocks to my Left, so I could see the entire thing through my driver's side window, but as it moved, it was to leave the entire bird visible through, and virtually filling my Jeep's entire windshield.

I looked intensely at every portion of that machine, knowing it could not be faithfully photographed at night. Lucky for me all of it's lights were operational and I believe that I observed all of the fundamental attributes of their behavior in this 'idle' mode. My feeling was both one of terror and relief. My biggest fear was that the helicopter would fire upon it and I would be caught in the fireball below!

To my hard left, another troop-type helicopter appeared. I'll discuss that one later.

I knew that I needed a comparable reference to describe the UFO's actual scale which still eludes me somewhat. Altitudes of 900' would seem more reasonable than say, 500 feet., but that was probably it's very lowest hovering height. In order to lock my eyes on the thing throughout the entire progression, I eventually sat in the window with my head above the car itself.

In this interview Brian Vike talked with a fellow who gave a awesome description of the Black Triangle UFO he observed. The size of this clip is 14.6 mbs and it is 43 minutes in length.

Unknown Hovering Lights And Loud Piercing Scream From 3 Foot Creature St. Laurent Manitoba

 Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date: August 2003

Time: evening (after dark)

I had a telephone call from a gentleman from St. Laurent, Manitoba on September 22, 2003. The area where this event took place is mainly a Matee community. The fellow I talked to said he and his wife bought a business and have lived in the community for thirteen years and know many of the area residents.

In the last week of August, 2003 four youths were driving south of St. Laurent towards the golf course on golf course road (as many folks there call it). The road runs by Francis Lake and the golf course is on the left hand side of the road when traveling south.

As they drove along they noticed an abandoned vehicle off to the side of the road across from the golf course. At this point they all saw flashing lights over and above one of the buildings on the course. The lights seemed to be sitting stationary in one spot and low over the sheds. They assumed, after seeing the car pulled off to the side of the road and the lights flashing, that someone may have been breaking into the sheds.

Two of the young men decided to sneak in to see if they might catch someone causing damage, the other two went back home to get their parents and have them come down to the area where all this was taking place.

As the two youths were approximately half way into the course and as they approached a small road which passed by one of the dugouts, they heard a very loud, piercing scream. As they kept walking for approximately another 100 feet, all of a sudden this "thing" was right in front of them and screaming out this loud screeching noise.

A three foot high creature ran in front of them and it was only about 25 feet away. Both witnesses were taken totally by surprise and very frightened as they had no idea what this thing was. It didn't help that it was dark outside. Both of them ran back towards the road where they had been dropped off, but seeing they did not have a vehicle they cowered in the ditch which ran along side the road hoping that whatever it was they saw would not find them.

Finally their two friends returned with a couple of the parents and when the vehicle stopped the two guys who witnessed the creature, hurriedly they jumped into the vehicle. "Let's get out of here" they said, however the parents did go and check the buildings and found nothing had been disturbed. They all talked about the event on their way home.

The lights which were seen hovering over the buildings were a red, greenish and white colour. The witnesses mentioned that not a sound could be heard coming from where the lights were seen. Also they claimed seeing another light hovering over Francis Lake which was totally red. Again not a sound could be heard.

On the same night, shortly after the above sighting another man, driving his van, had to slam on his brakes to avoid hitting a similar creature. He claimed that it was about 10 feet in front of him when he finally came to a complete stop. It moved to the driver's side of the van and squatted down, bending slightly to one side, looked up at the frightened driver.

The man described the creature as being small and having a protruding jaw filled with a number of teeth. He put the truck into reverse and headed out of there as fast as he could. After thinking about what just happened, and what he saw, he broke down and started to cry.

Another series of events have taken place in the same general area.

A local resident who had some 27 chickens well penned up in a "heavy steel wired" area, found on the following day, that 20 of his poultry had disappeared. A large hole had been ripped in the strong wire fence. The resident looked around the area and found one chicken still partly alive in the bushes behind their home and it had two puncture holes at the base of it’s neck. No other chickens were found. Strangely, also there has been a large number of domestic cats which have gone missing just over the same time period, which is definitely not normal and there does not seem to be any explanation for their disappearance.

The fellow claims that there is a lot of history of unknown objects being seen in and around the community. He also said that the creature had been spotted on other occasions throughout the St. Laurent area.

The lights were strange, the creature was strange... what they were and whether or not they were connected is anyone's guess. There does seem to be something very weird happening in this particular part of Canada. I will continue to look into this and see what, if anything more , I can discover about it. Due to the community being tight lipped about such strange events its not going to be an easy task.

Thank you to the people for relating the story to me.

Lieutenant Ordered Guards To Open Fire On Large Hovering Disc Shaped UFO

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Dear Brian, I read your article on the UFO incident at NAS Memphis (Millington). I was stationed on the north side of NAS Memphis from 1981-1983 with MAG-42 Det B.

The reason that I am sending you this email is not because of your particular story, but because one of the unit commanders, a Lieutenant Colonel was stationed with me there and we began talking about UFOs.

This man was a reservist who was a Tennessee state worker (a biologist) who told me of his own UFO story that he said he shared with very few people.

I figured that because he was an A-4 pilot, a Lieutenant Colonel and a scientist working for the state that his word was as good as gold to me.

I don't know if you want to hear it, but if you do, please let me know and I will send it to you. Thanks.

Additional Information:

Brian, Thanks for taking the time out to respond to my email. The story is in general, I don't know the exact locations or times of the main event, but the Lieutenant Colonel and I use to golf regularly and he use to tell me that I should hear his UFO story some time.

Finally, one day we finished golfing (at the NAS Memphis golf course) and we sat down in the bar and I asked him about his incident.

He told me that when he was a Lieutenant, and was one night the "Officer of the Guard" that his guards frantically called him on the radio stating that there was a UFO hovering over the storage building that held the ammo and weapons (the Armory).

He and his Sergeant of the Guard got in a jeep and sped to the location and saw a very large shiny silver flat disc hovering about 30 feet above the building. He said that his guards were beside themselves over it!  He added that the disc was making a low humming sound.

Then he ordered all his guards to open fire on the disc. Even he himself was shooting at it.  He said that the rounds just bounced off the disc and finally it sped away at an incredible speed. When I asked him if he thought it was of 'Earthly origin', he told me that there was no way that any human could have endured the G forces at the speed the object was moving.

When I asked him how big it was, he told me that it was bigger than the building it was hovering over. He said that he submitted a report on the incident and never heard anything again!  He wasn't even questioned by any higher authority.

As I stated in my last email, this man is a scientist and was a military fighter pilot of high rank. I worked with him for 3 years and not once did I ever see anything that would make me question his sanity. He was extremely sober minded and a 'matter of fact' type of person.

Why he insisted on telling me this story I do not know. I always wondered about that. Maybe he just trusted me and wanted to tell somebody. I was just a lowly Sergeant that did his paperwork for him.

I know this doesn't give much detail, and I apologize over that. I wish I would have had the presence of mind to ask him more details. Thanks for listening. Hope it helps somehow.

Our thanks to the person for relating this interesting story.

An Amazing/Frightening UFO Encounter In Thousand Oaks California (4 Eyewitness Audio Interviews)

 Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Thousand Oaks California Special Interview (All 4 Eyewitnesses)

I did a 3 and a half audio interview with four eyewitnesses which I will post shortly.

Finally I have did all the interviews with all of the four eyewitnesses for the Thousand Oaks California event and have the interview ready and posted. The length of the interview is 3 hours and 13 minutes in length. The people who are speaking out over the unusual experience is Steve, his brother Rick, Steve's Mom and Steve's ex-wife.

The chain of events took place over two nights, the police were called, the newspaper wrote a story on a tree which caught fire as the fire department were called out to put out the fire. Balls of light shooting over the people's head while standing on their driveway listening to the god awful screams. Circles left on the ground behind the home on the hill. Flash of light which engulfed the entire inside of the home and a figure could be seen coming up the stairs while this bright white light filled the home. Plus missing time, and a lot of it. This interview you do not want to miss.

Thank you to the family for taking the time with me.

Thousand Oaks, California UFO - Blinding Light And Sheer Terror (Special)

Received Report: January 2007

Date: November 1975 (2 nights)

Witnesses: Myself (20 at the time)

My father - deceased 1977 (age 47)

Mother

Brother (19 at the time)

My now ex-wife (19, 6 months pregnant at the time)

2 German Shepherds

Co-worker of my mothers - deceased.

UFO sighting reports from the past years I find simply amazing. There have been scores of sightings that have been reported to different UFO groups throughout the years, but still there are thousands of cases that have gone unreported. In the below letter is one of these. I would urge anyone from past years to file their UFO sighting as it helps us all out and hopefully gives us a better understanding of what is really happening in the day and nighttime skies.

Brian Vike's Note: The report, or experience which was related to me by a really nice fellow wishes to remain anonymous which is totally fine with me. Also I completely understand why he would like it to remain this way. But, this is an important case and the witness, or witnesses to this unusual event are looking for answers, as I am.

These folks are requesting anyone's help, in other words people who may have been witness to some unusual events around the time of this experience. Anyone with information on sightings in the Thousand Oaks, California area in November 1975 would you please contact Brian Vike, with your information on what took place. I then can pass along just the detailed information to the people who were involved in the November 1975 incident. Thank you very much, Brian Vike.

We lived in Thousand Oaks, California at the time, at 2130 Sapra (There are 2 Sapra's that were supposed to connect but never did. Our house was on the short one, connecting directly to Erbes Road). It was a new housing development when we moved in from Amarillo, TX in 1969 (My dad worked for Burroughs and was transferred from Texas to the Westlake Village branch).

We were the last house on a dead end street at the end of town. The houses were on only the south side of the street, cut out of the hill, with a large horse field across the street. The house was perched quite high above Erbes Rd and we could see over the horse field and into the valley below.

First Night:

My cousin lived next door and he and I were playing guitar on my front driveway along with my brother and a couple of other friends around 7:00 or 8:00 pm (close guess). Suddenly a blue light (size of a basketball?) streaked (super fast- no sound) over the house from the south and hit the horse field. I say hit, but it seemed to dissolve on impact and sent blue, lightning like streamers shooting off across the ground in all 3 other directions, for hundreds of yards until they disappeared.

Well, this was kind of strange to say the least, but we were kind of laughing about it as a couple of the people were facing away and saw nothing. We went back to playing guitar and 15 to 20 minutes later, this huge pine tree on the street down in the valley (Marview Drive - just looked it up on map quest) suddenly was fully engulfed in flames.

We stood there for awhile ( I remember watching the fire truck come down Arboles and turn up Erbes down in the valley below). Eventually it was put out (the story was in the paper -News Chronicle- the next day).

That night my brother, ex and I were up in my old room (My ex-wife and I were up in Alaska that year and had just gotten back) watching TV and we had the window on the east side of the room open. About 10:00 or so my brother told me to turn down the TV, he thought he heard something.

We went over to the window and, after a couple of minutes, heard a far off 'scream' way back in the hills to the northeast. We looked at each other with a 'what was that' look and a couple of minutes later heard it again, only it sounded farther away. I think we heard it a couple of other times and than didn't hear it again. Nothing else happened that night.

We all got home from work the next day, ate dinner, then my folks sat in the living room to watch TV and the 3 of us went upstairs to do the same. Around 7:00 my brother again said to turn down the TV (He always sat in a chair that we had next to that window) and immediately we heard the 'scream', only much closer.

How do I describe 'the scream' I can't. I've never heard anything like it, before or since. Part human, part animal Pain Fear. Certainly wasn't happy. I can kind of imitate it, but I can't describe it.

Let me also take a break here and describe the terrain. The houses stepped up the street, each one higher than the other. They had a lot above ours, but it was too small to build on and they sold it to my dad and he put a pool on it. That lot was even with the window in my room so my window looked out on the pool.

The hill behind both lots started very quickly up (steep) for about 30 feet to a small drainage ditch and then both were surrounded by a chicken wire fence we had put up to enclose both lots. Beyond that, thick, impenetrable sage brush. We owned that land but were never able to use it. You couldn't walk through it and the sage brush covered the entire hill south and east of the house.

The fire department occasionally came and cleared a little back from the drainage ditch, but it always grew back quickly. The hill went straight up for hundreds of yards to the houses on the top of the hill, which you could neither see or hear.

At this point we heard the scream coming from a point near a phone electric pole that was in the middle of the hill (50 yards away maybe). It screamed again and the 3 of us didn't need to hear it again to know it was time to get dad involved so we ran downstairs. A thought occurred to me - where are the dogs? I went left out to the garage and my brother and ex went right, into the living room.

I opened the back garage door (somewhat hesitant I might add). Usually at this point, I'm bowled over by a lovable, but hyper, 120 pound male German Sheppard who's favorite thing is to bound inside or in the garage and destroy everything in his tails path. But no dogs and then a scream up the hill to the left and I closed the door and headed inside.

My dad and brother were at the front door going out as I came in so I followed them outside. They went down the driveway while I went over to the gate on the west side of the house to see if I could find the dogs. I rattled the gate, and still no dogs but I heard the scream again, at the edge of our property, about near the drainage ditch. I went back to the front of the house and could see my brother and dad standing on the sidewalk in front of the 2nd lot, looking up at the hill.

I saw my dad and brother flinch down and the scream was thunderous. By far, the loudest we had heard, and the house was blocking me. My dad and brother came running up the driveway, asking me if I'd seen the fireballs (which I hadn't). They said 2 blue fireballs came shooting over their heads and hit the hill and immediately the thing screamed it's shriek. This was the only time in my life I saw my dad scared.

We all went inside and I tried to call my cousin next door, but nobody answered the phone. My Dad then decided to call the police and he reported something was up on our hill to the Thousand Oaks PD. At that point, the 3 of us went out the back door with a flashlight to look for the dogs. The thing had stopped screaming after the fireball incident to the best of my memory, but it wasn't screaming now. We found both dogs in the doghouse, shaking. We finally got them out and into the garage.

Quick note about the dogs. Anything near the property, they went nuts on. Rabbits or birds? An hour bark-a-thon. They protected that yard relentlessly, but what ever was up there this night, they wanted no part of.

My dad, brother and I went back out front and heard nothing. We stayed out there, one of us going inside every few minutes to check on things. An officer arrived about 8:30 and my dad somewhat told him what was going on (He was a Korean war vet so he wasn't going to the unexplained just yet).

The officer stayed for a while, shined his spotlight on the hill and of course not a peep. I'd say he left after 20 minutes to 1/2 hour. We went back inside and talked about it for a while then we went upstairs.

Now it got weird. We were upstairs for a while (an hour maybe less) when we thought we heard it again. We went to the window and it screamed again just as we got there, loud from behind the main house. I ran downstairs and yelled at my dad, I remember him sitting in his chair and Johnny Carson was doing his monologue so it was between 11:30 and 12:00. They were always in bed by 12:30 - 1:00 on work nights.

We ran upstairs, met my ex and brother at the top of the stairs, and headed into my folks bathroom which had the best vantage point at the back hill with a south facing window. I got there first and listened for a few seconds when suddenly a large scream bellowed forth followed by a very loud electronic 'beep'. My dad was at my side and I said 'Listen, I heard a beep' and on queue, loud scream - beep. It had moved about 5 feet east at that point with no sound (remember the sagebrush) and then it did it a third time (scream - beep) and had moved a little further.

My ex was screaming about somebody putting a needle in her belly button (The Betty/Barney Hill movie had aired about a month ago) so I stepped back to the door to comfort her, I saw this blinding white light that seemed to fill the house and then we are all standing in the hallway and going off in different directions to go to bed. My brother decided he wanted to sleep in the chair instead of alone and when we got into my bedroom I saw the clock said 4:30 exactly. I remember I could hear the screams now from there original point by the poles on the hill, but we all went to sleep.

Everybody went to work the next morning, but I called in sick cause my ex didn't want to stay there alone. I went up the hill to the east of the property as far as I could get and there were 2 circular patterns in a clearing where there were weeds, about 8 feet in diameter. That was all I saw and that was the end of that.

A woman who worked at my mothers work (an optometrist's office) told her that day she was driving up Erbes road about 7:30 that night when she saw 2 cars stopped on Erbes with people looking up at our hill, and she looked and saw a bright white light hovering over the hill east of our house, and then it just disappeared.

Aftermath:

We talked to my cousin next door and they heard nothing (I have no explanation because they should have, that thing was LOUD) and they said they were home and never heard the phone ring.

The male German Sheppard went fast. He was 5 years old, and in the weeks following the incident, he lost control of his nervous system to the point he couldn't function and was put to sleep. The vet said he had no idea what was wrong with him. The female went blind (7 years old) over the next few months and she too was put to sleep.

My dad seemed to age rapidly for the next year and 1/2 and died of a heart attack at a company picnic in August 1977.

My daughter was born normally, but has had a few 'strange' incidents and I watched her lose her baby teeth then get in her adult teeth, only to lose them all at age 12 and get a third set of teeth, The dentist said it wasn't happening but we know it did.

A few months after the encounter, I went and laid down after work and spiked a 106 temperature. I was sick for a year, was put in the hospital and tested for hepatitis and cancer but they had no idea what was wrong with me. The only thing they told me was my blood work showed some irregularity and I was told not to give blood.

The lady that worked with my mom quit unexpectedly that day and I never had a chance to ask her about it as she committed suicide shortly there after.

That's it. The scream and fireballs were strange, but the fact we all went to bed and didn't seem to care that our 10 minutes in the bathroom turned into 4 hours was maybe the strangest. I have no explanation for any of it.

This was hard to write about. I had to stop once and thinking about it still causes Goosebumps.

A couple of days after that my dad, brother and I were on our front yard talking about this encounter, when my dad told us the following story. He joined the Air Force in 1950 after 2 years at the University of Minnesota and spent some time in Korea as a jet mechanic and then came stateside and was stationed at Sioux City Iowa, were he was trained as a radar technician.

One night in 1954 the whole base went on alert suddenly and he was told there was an unknown object coming from the north. They got a radar reading that it was at 50000-80000 feet and traveling in excess of 1,200 mph (I recall him saying 1,800 mph but my brother said 1200 so we'll go with that).

It went off the screen to the south, and everybody in the room was told to forget it even happened. He never told us about that before, but my mom confirmed today that he told her about it the next day (he was on the overnight shift).

Multiple Reports Of Flying Saucer Over Tuc-El-Nuit Lake Oliver British Columbia

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date: Early to mid 1950's ?
Time: Early afternoon.

Location of Sighting: Tuc-El-Nuit Lake Oliver British Columbia Canada
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Saucer shape on top and bottom.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: Now this is a really interesting sighting report since there appears to have been more people who witnessed this object as the person reporting mentions the radio station carried a news story on this craft being observed by others.

I would like to request from others who were in that area at the time and if they saw this craft, would you please be kind enough to contact me here at brian_vike@telus.net with the details of what you saw. Thank you, Brian.

Full Description of event/sighting: I recall I was 8 or 10 years old and playing by myself in our back yard on the west side of Tuc-el-Nuit Lake.

I was not looking at the lake, but was facing north. A movement over my right shoulder caught my attention and I turned towards the lake.

Flying very low above the lake and coming from the south was a very strange looking airplane. It had no wings, no propeller, was the same shape top and bottom and made no sound. The size was a bit bigger than any plane I'd seen before and the only planes I had seen were small private planes. I'd never been to a big airport.

The colour a silver grey. The lake was only half a mile wide at that point so "the plane" was quite close and only about three times as high as our rooftop. If it had been a float plane I would have expected it to be landing at the far end of the lake.

It was moving only a little faster than I would have expected a plane to fly. I watched it continue up the lake then went back to my playing.

Later when I went in the house I told my mother about the strange plane I'd seen.

A short time later she heard on the 5:00 p.m. news that a "flying saucer" had been seen by a great many people flying north up the Okanagan Valley. It fit the description of what I'd seen so she told me about it. The radio station was CKOK Penticton.

I wasn't overly impressed as I'd never even heard of flying saucers. My parents were aware of them, but it was never a topic that they had any reason to discuss. To me it was just a funny looking airplane. In fact, if it had not been on the news I doubt that I would have remembered it as the years went by. Of course to see it now would be very exciting and I would pay a lot more attention!

Over the years I've looked at archives of sightings in B.C., but have never seen mention of that event. That surprises me a bit since several people apparently reported it to the radio station at the time.

Unfortunately I can't give the exact year. I just know it was after 1950 and before 1960. It was around the time that my parents were part of a team of volunteers that had to report any planes they heard or saw during their shift. My parents shift was midnight to 2:00 a.m..

Both being teachers they used the time to mark papers! Years later when I asked why they were doing that, they couldn't remember what it was about, but that it was being done in more areas than Oliver.

Around that same time period there was another sighting in the sky that I noted, but did not think about more than just briefly. I was in the same area of Oliver playing with some friends. This was early afternoon in the summer.

They were standing above me on a mound of dirt and as I was looking at them I noticed three bright lights in the sky to the north. They looked like very bright stars and formed a small triangle. We all watched them for a while but they didn't move so we went on playing.

Over the next half hour whenever we looked up they were there. Since I remembered my father saying that as a boy in Alert Bay (1920's) he and a friend once watched several unmoving "stars" for a whole afternoon I just assumed that we also were looking at stars.

Yes we knew that it was unusual to see stars in the daylight. The reason I remembered the event was that I was pleased that I'd seen something special that my dad had seen when he was about my age. Since then I've looked for stars in the daytime sky when the air is very clear but have never seen any.

I realize this report is from a long time ago but I am hoping you have records of this from other people. If nothing else I appreciate the opportunity to at last tell someone about the event. Thank-you.

Thank you to the witness for the wonderful report.

Between 1954 and 1958, Tuc-El-Nuit Lake Oliver, British Columbia Canada (Daylight sighting)

This is a bit of an unusual addition to a report you posted earlier [see above].

My older sister submitted the report "Tuc-El-Nuit Lake Oliver, British Columbia 1950s Flying Saucer". She emailed me to take a look at this site, and I read her submission. Now, it gets a bit strange.

This was the very first time I heard about her seeing this event. That in itself is not particularly strange, but I saw something similar, and she did not know of my sighting nor I hers! Reading her report was a bit of a shock, to say the least.

What follows is a description of what I saw sometime between 1954 and 58. I was somewhere between 4 and 8 years old.

It was a bright day with a solid high overcast, and, I believe, in the afternoon. No wind and a warm day.

I was outside by the lake shore, facing south. Something attracted my attention and I looked up high to my left in time to see three objects streak towards the south. They were moving much faster than any ducks flew, and were absolutely silent.

There was no flapping of wings or any body movement whatsoever. They did not appear to be descending, but got smaller as they flew out of sight behind a row of poplar trees about 100m away.

There were three objects, flying in a "V" formation. They looked to me at the time like ducks with no tails and very short stubby wings. They were dark in colour and I saw no markings or distinguishable features.

My age and lack of any other reference led me to assume they were just weird birds. What seemed unusual to me at the time other than the weird shape was the speed and silence of their flight.

They appeared to me as ducks would look if they were flying 10 or 15m above my head. I should have seen details and heard the murmuring that ducks make as they fly.

I told my Mom and Dad about the "ducks". They questioned me, but couldn't really come to any satisfactory conclusions and we just shrugged and moved on.

My sister and I talked about these events for the first time today. Neither of us was aware of the other's sighting. We are not really able to figure out who saw what first, but we are both certain that we did not know of each other's story. We are equally certain that we saw what we saw, and are not "remembering" a story we heard from the other.

FYI. Tuc-el-nuit Lake is, according to Indian legend, the birthplace of Ogopogo. He apparently swam up the Okanagan River to Okanagan Lake. The "Okanagan Arch" is also visible from this area.

Thank you to the witnesses for their reports.
