Witnesses Watch Flying Saucer UFO Hovering In The Sky Between Ajax And Pickering Ontario

Date:  1964
Time:  Daytime.

Hi Brian, I have just located your site regarding a recent sighting of orange lights in the sky. Since you requested any old sighting being sent along as well, I am sending a report on an incident dating back some 50 years.

I was approximately 12 years old (1964) at the time and in a vehicle with my parents and two year old brother.  We were on highway #2 in between Ajax and Pickering Ontario, Canada. I am not sure what direction we were travelling, but there was a line of cars in front of us and on the opposite side of the road that had pulled over and were looking up.

At that point we noticed an object in the sky on the passenger side of the vehicle that appeared to be hovering in the air. It was relatively close from my recollection, almost the height of a plane coming in for a landing.

It can only be referred to as the typical silver “flying saucer”. The shape was as if you had taken two sandwich plates and placed the open ends together to reveal a full saucer shape.

As we continued on slowly down the road we had passed some tree’s and by the time we reached the other side of them the object was gone. I recall my Father mentioning something about the power lines, which makes we think we were closer to Pickering and the power plant.

It has been this experience that captivated me to having an interest in astronomy and always being watchful of the night sky. I feel so lucky to have seen this UFO and have never been shy if the circumstance arose to tell others about this experience, regardless what their responses, I know what I saw.

I have always wondered if there are some of the other people that saw the same sighting, that wish there was a way to express there experience and let people know what they saw, and your site has at least given me that opportunity.

Two Orange Coloured Objects/Lights Spotted In The Sky Over Aldergrove British Columbia

Time:  Approx: 9:50 p.m.

Hello, I have been watching the internet to see if anyone else has noticed the lights on Saturday, September 6, 2014. Myself and my daughter were sitting on her deck in the backyard, she went in the house for a moment and I saw 2 orange glowing lights at approximately 9:50 p.m.

First they were hovering side by side, slowly moving and then one descended to the ground. I could see it, it had changed color to a faint bluish color it was not as visible as the large orange one still up in the air.

My daughter returned from inside the house and also witnessed with me the large quiet orb like a fireball in the sky. We watched it for about 5 minutes. The orange one kept moving  slowly and I was to guess on about 264 and Hwy 1 area.

So I was pleased to see we were not the only ones mesmerized by this sighting.

My cell was battery was dead from my earlier use, so I was not able to photograph it unfortunately. But upon seeing we were not the only ones to witness this and dates matched up I felt compelled to share this also.

Huge Object With Colors Of Green Red Yellow Over UBC West End Vancouver British Columbia

YES! I saw it!

We were about to park the car at the parking of Save-on in UBC when all of the sudden I saw the same thing that you described on your article. I was really so excited. I thought at first it was a plane crashing to the ground but the object is huge enough and glaring with colors.

I waited for it on the news and like you, Googled it... but can't find any news of it. I am glad you have it in article. I am just so glad to share what I saw and lucky to have seen it!

As soon as I saw it, I posted it on my Facebook. It was on September 13, 2014, weather was good and it happened at UBC, West End Vancouver.

Around 8:30 at the western sky I saw a huge object with really beautiful colors of and something glaring travelling north! It's so magnificent!

I don't know what it is, but it made me feel excited! Did anyone saw it too?

Approximately 12 Flashing Orange Lights/Objects Over Kingston Ontario (Solved - Chinese Lanterns)

Time:  Approx: 8:00 p.m.

Vike Factor Note: This sighting has been solved, with the help of one of the visitors to the Vike Factor. These witnesses also spotted the orange lights, and were very surprised as to what they were witnessing. 

They thought enough to drive to the area where the objects seemed to be rising from, and then saw the lights/objects to be Chinese Lanterns.

Hi, we saw the orange flashy lights last night around 8:00 p.m. on September 12, 2014. They flew over our house on Joseph street near Division.

There were around 12 of them and they were big orange lights and no sound and then they vanished.

It was so scary, we hurried in the house and locked the door. We could not believe our eyes as they flew in two's diagonally and two at a time came over until we counted about 12 of them.

Just to let you know. My daughter had taken a video of them. I am still baffled, amazed and scared.

Odd Looking White Object/Light Seen Over Abbotsford British Columbia

 Date:  September 12, 2014
Time:  12:50 a.m. - 1:00 a.m.

I was driving home east bound on Hwy 1 last night (September 12, 2014) at approximately 12:50 - 1:00 a.m. from work and saw a very similar incident, only I'd say the light was white.

This would have been between 264 and Mt Lehman, but definitely closer to Mt Lehman, north side of the freeway.

First thought was shooting star, but too big, close and bright. Then I remember we were supposed to be able to see the northern lights last night. It was cloudy.

It moved downward fast and arced and was gone. No tail. No aura or glow around it. Just a round orb.

Odd. Never seen anything like it.

Red Glowing Object/Light In The Sky Outside Of Belwood Lake Ontario

Time:  Approx: 10:30 p.m.

We live at Pine Meadows Retirement Community just outside of Belwood and close to Highland Pines Camping facility. Last night around 10:30 p.m. I was walking our dog and saw a red glowing flying object rise above the trees just over the camp grounds.

It was bright red and moving slowly quite low in the night sky. It proceeded to fly over our the street in my direction and was above my head at one point. It continued its path in the direction of Arthur and I watched it until it faded from view. The object was silent, no engine noise whatsoever.

In May of this year, both my husband and I witnessed a similar experience in the same area over Highland Pine Campgrounds. I was returning with our dog having been on our final run of the night and saw the same red glowing object in the sky.

It circled  around the campground area a couple of times then slowly flew off over in the direction of the lake. I could hardly believe what I had seen….Thankfully, my husband had been sitting out on the porch and had also spotted it. Very strange.
