3 Bright Orange Lights Changed To A Triangle Formation Over South Castlegar British Columbia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: It was about 8:00 p.m. December 25th, 2012. I live in South Castlegar, B.C. I was in the hot tub when I saw three bright orange lights slowly appear in a perfect line following each other over the mountaintop.

At first I thought it may be some kind of fireworks. The three lights then stopped and stayed motionless for about 30 seconds. Then in literally a blink of an eye they formed a perfect triangle a great distance apart from each other.

I jumped out of the tub and went into the house and got my two adult sons. They came outside with me and saw the three lights that were still in the triangle formation.

They then broke formation and one light slowly drifted back down to exactly where they first appeared and it then dropped down to the mountainside and disappeared.

The remaining two lights suddenly came back together and slowly began moving in a southerly direction.

My son ran upstairs and told my wife about the lights and she came out and we all watched the remaining two lights moving slowly south towards Trail, B.C./USA until they went out of sight.

There was no tail from the lights, they were bright orange orbs, and silent. Never seen anything like this in our lives!

We went online to try to see if there were reports/witnesses and could not believe how many similar sightings were happening all over the world as well as in British Columbia.

Bright Orange Balls Of Light Seen In The Sky Over North Nanaimo Vancouver Island British Columbia

Hi there, last night, New Years I was on the deck at approximately 12:30 a.m. when I saw what at first was a fireworks in the sky, it was a bright orange ball.

While waiting for it to explode, it turned slowly and disappeared into a cloud.

As I watched, and called my 15 year old son to come see what I was seeing. I saw another 5, 6 in total move from over the tree line at Pioneer Park, make a large circle then disappear into the clouds.

They were all evenly spaced, no noise, and like I said all followed the same path. You seem to be the expert in the area, have you had any other reports of these lights?

Red/Orange Object In The Sky Flying Over Fraser Lake British Columbia

Hello, I saw a red orange object in the sky at about 9:15 pm on New Years Eve December 31, 2012 in Fraser Lake B.C. It was not a plane.

It was coming from the north going south, then it seemed to stop and went east.

It was large and bright. I called my husband and both grandkids, we all seen it.

12 Red Lights In The Sky Over London Ontario

12 red lights it freaked me, my son and my neighbor right out.

Orange/Red Lights Spotted In The Sky Over Gordon Head Saanich Vancouver Island British Columbia

Hello, me and my friend stepped outside after the New Years count down last night and saw something very bizarre.

It was over cast sky last night and no other lights, stars, planets etc., could be seen. We where in Gordon Head it was 12:15 a.m. on January 1, 2013.

There was a orange/red light that came into view from behind a big oak tree that was moving on a horizontal flight path north east to south west heading for Washington State directly over the Straight Of Jaun De Fuca.

There was no noise of any kind that we could hear. The object was travelling at a constant velocity and then began to slow down and stop completely. After a time period of no more than 60 seconds the light proceeded to fade away completely.

Me and my friend then had a 30 second conversation trying to figure out what the object was that we just witnessed. The light resembled a sodium vapored street lamp and had no strobing effect as a commercial commuter plane would.

This traveling light in the sky by itself probed our curiosity, but what happened next has left us quite confused.

A second object emitting the same amount of light, became visible in the tree line. This object was on an identical flight path, and possessed the exact same velocity as the first object.

It mimicked the flight path of the first sighting and came to rest in the same section of sky as the first object. It then began to fade away behaving identically to the first object. Then this happened for a third time. We made identical observations every time.

The light would come into view from being blocked by the tree we where standing beside, stop at the exact same spot, and then fade out.

My theory is that this could have been a plane that was traveling in a circular flight path following co-ordinates form a GPS and that would explain why we witnessed identical flight paths. Still, that wouldn't explain why it stopped and behaved the way it did.

Planes don’t stop suddenly and proceed to fade into the distance. I am not sure if the objects physically faded away, or travelled in the direction exactly opposite to us which might have created the illusion of fading out or crossing over into the cover of the clouds.

Weather the object travelled away from us or faded physically is something that
I am not 100% sure of.

Planes don’t act like this, low orbiting satellites don’t act like this, fireworks form a new years celebration don’t act like this and could not explain what we saw. I have cellphone video of the second and third objects but it is hard to see the movement relative to the sky and ground but everything else is as described. ‘

Bright Orange/Yellow Light Lit Up The Area In North Qualicum Vancouver Island British Columbia

Hello, I saw a very bright orange/yellow light shine through our bedroom window on Thursday morning, never seen anything like it before.

It only lasted a couple of seconds. I jumped out of bed to see if I could see anything, it was a clear night, lots of stars, but didn't see anything unusual in the sky.

When I checked the clock it was 12.21 a.m. I live in North Qualicum, the bedroom window faces northwest.
