Bright Light Moving In The Sky Above Timmins Ontario

Date:  August 8, 2012
Time:  Around midnight.

Wednesday night August 8th, 2012 around midnight I was out around a fire and saw a single bright light moving across the sky.

There was no sound and was moving faster than a satellite would, and was much lower. Just read an article on your site that described the same thing.

Just wondering how many other people saw the same bright light moving.

Bright White Light Seen Often Over Rural Manitoba

Time:  11:00 p.m.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I see bright white lights, that other people have seen all the time. Very bright, pure white and very big. There is no sound. Seems to come from same direction, west and goes east.

Sometimes it will be over lake near my home. I will walk down there and just watch it. So bright that light reflects off water very beautiful. Then it just moves higher up until it is no longer visible.

I and my family have seen this for years, couple of times a week. No idea what it is, but very interesting to see.

Bright Light Spotted In The Sky Over Vancouver British Columbia

Date:  August 17, 2012
Time:  3:45 a.m.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: A very bright light.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Seems to be very low to be a star and way to bright to be a star. It seems to be moving very slowly. It will go from really bright that my eyes will actually see rays from the main light to dimmer, but is still brighter than any star I've seen.

I live in an apartment downtown. It seems to be heading southeast very slowly. My location is west of Canada Place Stadium. From my view it is located in the northeast.

From Canada Place it is to the northwest. It seems to be moving upwards now as well.

It is now 3:53 a.m. August 17th, 2012.

Bright Object Travels In The Sky Over Courtenay British Columbia

Time:  Approx: 10:00 p.m.

Hey Brian, I was searching the web to see if there were any answers to the light I saw and came across your post. I noticed the light on Monday August 12th around 10:00 p.m. It was moving slowly in an eastern trajectory.

It was much brighter and larger then any other star in the sky. I only noticed when my I noticed my neighbours outside pointing up at it.
Additional Information:

Hey Brian, sorry I forgot to mention it. I live in Courtenay B.C. The object went straight over my house and towards the local air force base.

The objects trajectory was easterly heading towards Vancouver.

Bright White Object Seen Flying In The Sky Over Parson British Columbia (ISS - International Space Station)

Date:  August 2012
Time:  Evening.

Hi I’m in Parson, B.C. and this is the fourth or fifth time I’ve seen this.

It’s a huge, very bright light travelling in a straight line and it moves fairly slowly.

I think the only explanation is military, but there’s no sound and it’s very, bright and large. Something that bright and large should make a sound shouldn’t it?

Bright White Flashing Light In The Sky Over Coquitlam/Port Moody British Columbia

Time:  Approx: 9:30 p.m.

Hi Brian, I happened upon your site when I Googled “flashing lights, Coquitlam”. I’m always checking out the sky being the UFO believer that I am.

Anyway, last night around 9:30 p.m. I was driving home from the Airport through New Westminster and as I was going along Holmes I started to see a very bright white flashing light high up in the sky towards Coquitlam/Port Moody. 

Since I thought I was driving towards it, I didn’t pull over to take a better look. It was really wild and and I could hardly believe my eyes.

Unfortunately I lost it once I got on to North Road. I drove up to Como Lake and along Como Lake trying to pick it up, but no luck so I drove home.

I should have stopped my car and filmed it with my cell, damn! This was no small blinking light. It was huge and blinked about it seemed every 10 or 20 seconds. Cheers.
