Time: 10:00 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Maple Ridge B.C. Canada.Number of witnesses: 3Number of Objects: 2Shape of Objects: Round.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: Two lights looked like aircraft lights which we have regularly over our house but coming in at a different angle. Seemed to be descending like an aircraft (there was no engine noise) I thought it may be in distress as it was way to low to the ground and off the normal course that the planes come over our house. Also the lights where not flashing like normal aircraft lights. I started to think the plane would crash fairly close to our house if it continued the lights where very close to the ground no aircraft that large would be that close. The lights seemed to stop progressing forward then hovered in the air. The lights then started to spread apart. They turned from a horizontal position to a vertical position and continued to get spread apart. The bottom light got smaller and more orange in color and seemed to disappear. The light at the top started to fade and then disappeared to.
Thank you to the witness for their sighting report.

New Jersey UFO Hoax Was A Good Thing Says Dan Aykroyd ?
Dan Aykroyd finds that the New Jersey UFO hoax was a good thing ? Aykroyd says it is a good thing, meaning the UFO hoax as it brings more attention to real cases, this while signing vodka bottles for his many fans.
Well personally speaking, Dan's comment is a little out there as far as I see it. It is tough enough to try to figure out at times which reported sighting is a hoax or the real deal. Now having Dan say this, he certainly is not at all helping the UFO field. I personally worked my butt off and drove hours and hours, spending alot of my own money going to meet folks who "claimed" they had a UFO/alien encounter. After visiting with some of these people, nothing happened and I wasted time and money which could have been better spent on a real honest sightings. I certainly was not a happy camper and I sure don't find promoting the idea that reporting hoaxes is good for the UFO business.
So to hear Dan Aykroyd come out with a silly and disappointing statement is beyond me. His comments just do not help and makes me really angry to say the least.

Kingston, Ontario A Circular Object
Posted: April 7, 2009
Date: February 14, 2009
Time: Before and around 1:00am
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 2
Shape of objects: Circular.
Weather Conditions: Mostly clear night.
Description: We were watching TV in the living room of our apartment on the 6th floor. We have big windows facing towards an Easterly direction. My girlfriend bought my attention towards a light she saw outside that had not been there previously and I shrugged it off as a star. It was in a North, Northeast direction. Then she restated that it had not been there before. And I said "Well at different times of the year stars appear at different locations in the night sky". Then as I looked at it again, I noticed it had moved and looked at my girlfriend she said "I think it moved". So then my interest peaked because it for sure was not a plane, and we grabbed the binoculars we had. Upon looking at the object through the binoculars we then discovered it was showing different coloured lights that seemed to be changing almost like flashing but not more like it might have been rotating. The colours of the lights were Red, white and green for sure (I thought I saw blue and then my girlfriend later during her observation thought she saw yellow.)
Still this object was quite far but definitely in the Earths atmosphere. Then we noticed a second more closer object (still hard to decipher with the naked eye) upon observation with the binoculars this object appeared to be doing the same thing as the first object sitting in the with changing lights.
The Second object started to move into the distance until we could not see it anymore while the first object remained relatively in the same spot, but gradually moving up in the sky, possibly rising to greater elevation but did not seem to move significantly further or closer to us.
Eventually my girlfriend go tired and went to bed followed by me shortly after. I don't know what it was but it wasn't a plane, and it wasn't a helicopter and it was still there when I went to sleep.

8 Miles South Of Forest, Ontario Massive UFO
Posted: April 5, 2009
Date: Victoria Day, mid 1980's
Time: Beginning dusk 8:00 p.m.
Location of Sighting: 8 miles south of Forest, Ontario Canada.
Number of witnesses: 12
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Triangular.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: Brian, I would somehow like to briefly speak to you, as I am somewhat reluctant, as I have never publicly spoke of this before other than to my wife who was present at the time of this event and at the time to (name removed of), Sarnia, Ontario who was the local/regional investigator for MUFON at the time. This event was not lights in the sky, but an object of massive size, very near to us and at a very low altitude (3,000-5,000) feet would be generous. If this had not been a such a life altering event for myself, I might have never reached out to your site.
The amount of quality and detail of the object is really hard to believe let alone comprehend and I want to pass it on to someone who I consider (In the expertise), you, will not judge, but take it for what it was. Reports of the object also seen by motorists on HWY. 402 were posted in local newspapers the next day only to disappear from any records or archives later. There is no record/microfiche or other of the reports that were published. There is no-doubt in my mind, I read the articles as others did, but there is no records whatsoever to be found. This is just but one of the many after accounts related to, but no-less bizarre details. Enough said, If you want to hear a, with all sincerity, a event that occurred and with most of the details remembered, as there is not a day, that I do not give it a thought, and this could become quite lengthy, when all is said and done. Lights in the sky! ? You've got
nothing on me! In all sincerity.
Thank you to the witness for their sighting report.

Windsor, Ontario Ball Of Light
Posted: April 5, 2009
Date: March 28, 2009
Time: Just after 9:00 p.m.
Hi Brian, Earlier this evening just after 9pm, I saw a ball of light moving the speed of a small airplane. Looking north to the skies and about 35 degrees up from the horizon travelling NE, in a straight direction was the ball of light, white with a yellowish tinge of color. Since it was going slowly, I grabbed my binoculars from where I keep them at the back door, and followed it along until it faded from view about 30 seconds of time.
There were other aircraft in the sky. Just before I spotted it, I saw two small jets with red lights and white flashers converging, one from my southwest going northwards in the west, one passing overhead and heading northwest, both I think headed to Detroit Metro in Romulus, MI. I made a note of this, because I rarely have seen such flight patterns overhead. Thinking about it now they may have been routed to avoid encountering the object. I am outside every evening, every night because I step outside the house to smoke and watch the skies, the stars , the passing planes. It has become very familiar to me over the years.
So I spotted the ball of light. What I can tell you about it was it was not a satellite in space. I'm sure it travelled along aircraft elevations. It was not bright like Venus in winter. About half that and slightly yellowed. Not so bright that I couldn't distinguish its orb shape.
So I think, given the time, just after sunset that it might have been one of those border surveillance drones, high enough to still reflect the sun perhaps? The strange thing is they appeared to glow of their own volition , not like a reflection of sunlight on a passing plane.
Then a two-three minutes later a second one caught my eye (as I'd whiled away a few minutes outside in the fair weather thinking about it.) The second one followed in the same path as the previous one and at the same speed and looked the same. I had binoculars and in both cases, each appeared as I stated.
If they were conventional aircraft, there would be flashing lights, white or red. (FAA beacons) But none. Just glowing light. I also want to point out the fact that airplanes often have lights that appear as "headlights" as on a car.
These appear directionally. So if one passes you by up in the sky, those lights of course pass you by too and all you see are the rearview blinking lights. In this case the light was the same coming and going, no change ( as if it was glowing internally). I have read of people's descriptions of "glowing orbs" passing in the sky. I'm pretty sure these two lights, two minutes apart are surveillance devices. That would be the most logical solution. I live less than 10 km from the border.
Could it be the reports "orbs" over England are surveillance drones too? Has anyone ever mentioned using a binocular w/ camera, Bushnell makes a few models. Also I'd be happy to send you photos of my "window" on the world and maps or charts, diagrams of the traffic above. I had a very memorable set of sightings in April 2007. So I'm always watching just in case.
Thank you to the witness for their sighting report.

Penticton, British Columbia A Large Bright Light
Posted: April 5, 2009
Date: August 2008
Time: Evening.
Hi Brian, further to my previous e-mail of last summer, our sightings continue to occur.
Only weeks later in August, about the same time of night, my daughter and her girlfriend were in the back yard one night jokingly "watching for UFOs". Never thinking we would actually see something, we all sat together visiting and watching the sky. No more than 1/2 hour later, I pointed to the sky and said - What is that? We all turned and watched a large bright object off towards the mountains West of Penticton. It looked like a very, very bright planet, like three to four times the size of say Venus. It began to rise slowly in the sky. After a bit it started to alternate course, starting to veer to the left and up. As it altered course its brightness dimmed and dimmed and after a few more seconds the light went out completely. We saw nothing else. The sighting lasted about 10 to twenty seconds
There we all stood with our mouths hanging open and my daughter with her camera in her hand, who then said "I guess I should have recorded that!" A few weeks ago my daughter advised me that she witnessed a similar sighting again.
I must say, as unsettling as this all is, it was nice to have two witnesses to the whole event the second time. My daughter's girlfriend now believes her father when he tells her that he has been seeing thinks in the sky. I have also since learned from my family that my grand father, who lived in the Okanagan from most of his life, had been sighting UFOs decades ago. Anyways, I find it all very interesting and thought I would drop you another quick e-mail.
Thank you to the witness for their sighting report.
