HBCC UFO Research Note: (Keefer Lake sighting) I received a tiny report from the eyewitness, but when I read what the fellow wrote, I was really interested, more than interested I guess I would say. I have worked on a case just like this one and it was close to the same area in 2003. I called the gentleman straight away and gathered a little more information. As for the photos and footage, a close friend of the witness tried to send the footage to me but the format was not recognized by my computer. So the folks are re-doing the footage in a format that we can all view. So hopefully they will be able to get this worked out soon. This sighting is a excellent one.

Shape of objects: Long and cylindrical but split in the middle giving the appearance of two floating tanks.

Re: our phone call, Getting the program to download and send the file has been a bit of a challenge, however when viewed frame by frame it becomes even more spectacular if not a bit eerie, ie: It appears to be two pulsing objects definitely separated in the center (hence the black stripe) and dark lights, or a shimmer effect seems to appear above each orb as these dark spots transfer from one orb to the other. As the dark spots transfer the orbs appear to alternate in size and get larger for a few frames before transferring back to other orb.
Additional Information:
Q. - What were the weather conditions at the time of the sighting ? Was it a windy day ? (I believe it was hot a clear, but just making sure).
A. - Clear and cloudless. Occasional slight breeze. The trees in the footage are still.
Q. - What is the closet major airport to your location where the objects were seen ? Also is their a small air strip close by ?
A. - Kelowna is a major airport 100 km from here and I am unaware of any other strips in the area.
Q. - What direction did the objects come from and headed off to ?
A. - They came from the north over Railroad Creek Valley, between Dome and Yeoward mountains, then turned due west before getting over the camp.
Q. - What would you estimate the distance to the objects were from your location?
A. - Straight line distance Approx. 2 to 3 miles.
Q. - Another guess question, roughly how high would you estimate the objects were in altitude ? Say where a small plane would fly, or a large jet ? Just a rough guess.
A. - 10 to 12,000 feet
Q. - As the objects moved across the sky, how long were you able to observe the entire event for ?
A. - 10 minutes altogether
Q. - Were you able to hear any sound at all, if so could you describe what you heard the best you can ?
A. - Dead silent
Q. - What color was the main body of the objects ? Were you able to observe any lights on the objects at all, if so what color were they and if there were, did they flash or blink off and on ?
A. - Mainly white or very shiny metallic, when viewed frame by frame you can see that the big object is actually two white tank like objects and you can see blue sky between the objects as it seems to pulse. There are two black spots that appear to alternate back and forth between the two objects. When the black spots appear above and below the object, the two objects seem to grow in size. During the time that the spots are on the individual tanks and the other one appears to shrink in size. You can see the black dots as they move back and forth.
Q. - Did the object at anytime move erratically or change direction, zig zag through the sky ? Basically did they move strangely ?
A. - They moved steadily and deliberately. There was no up and down movement. Each one was at a slightly different altitude and approach before veering to the west. The strange part was the silence of their passing and no contrails .

Winnipeg, Manitoba Classic Saucer Shaped Craft Hovering

To whom it may concern, on July 28/2005 at 7:10 p.m. a friend of mine and his ten year old daughter were standing in a lot on the corner of Henderson Highway and Hespeler when my friends little girl spotted something unusual in the sky and asked her father, my friend, what it was. We were all looking up at an object that looked like a star sitting underneath the clouds and was blinking. There seemed to be a bluish haze around this object as it sat blinking underneath the cloud cover. The blinking light then began moving in a northeasterly direction towards a jets vapour trail in the sky where it then sat blinking. As this sat blinking under the clouds another blinking light popped out of the clouds where we originally spotted the first one blinking.
The blinking light then began moving towards the other blinking light in the northeasterly part of the sky. When they were side by side they flew into the clouds. The rest of this story is something out of the twigh light zone. As we turned to exit the lot, scared, something shot out of the sky at a phenomenal rate of speed and stopped on a dime behind some trees. It began gliding to the right behind the trees. I knew what I was looking at the moment I saw the silhouette of this craft gliding behind the trees, it was the classic saucer shape. Could not and still cannot believe this actually happened. The craft glided to the right until it came into an opening in the trees above some houses where it hovered with me still pointing right at it, I had caught it in my peripheral vision as it dropped from the sky at an unbelievable rate of speed. I caught a back blur when the thing dropped from the sky and stopped on a dime behind the trees.
This saucer shaped craft hovered above these houses and then began to emit a very bright light that seemed to be brighter than the sun and then seemed to be gone in a brilliant flash of light. I could not, nor could my friend hear or see the traffic moving beside us when this light lit up the area. We approximate that this thing hovered about a hundred fifty feet away from us and lit up like the sun, if not brighter. We were in a state of shock and still are about this freakish occurrence. As we crossed the street to leave this lot the little girl was telling everybody on the street that she had just seen a UFO. As we climbed on our bikes to ride, I had the presence of mind to ask my friend what time it was. He replied that it was seven forty eight. We were in that parking lot for over thirty minutes and this incident could not have lasted more than five minutes from the time we were pointing at the blinking objects in the sky until the time one dropped from the sky and hid behind the trees.
I honestly think that this craft was trying to sneak up on us and if I had not caught it out of the corner of my eye and saw it drop behind the trees we may never have caught such a close-up view. I can draw what I saw and so could my witnesses. We seem to be missing about a half hour of time. I can assure you that what I have witnessed is true and will pass any polygraph/hypnosis test there is. I would put up my house as a challenge to anyone who can match it dollar for dollar to prove we are telling the truth. When you discover we are telling the truth prepare to ante up. My friend and his daughter are willing to undergo any type of test that may exist to prove what we saw is real. The scary thing here is, how can we three be the only ones to witness this craft come down and hover over some house on of the busiest intersections of a city with population over 600,000.
This is some pretty freaky stuff. We have not been feeling normal since this happened. If you wish to discuss this over the phone you may reach me on my cell at (removed by HBCC). I can assure you that as bizarre as this sounds, it happened and there is a little ten year old girl that is going to remember this for the rest of her life. This event in my life has made me question the existence of God. Maybe whomever/whatever dropped and hovered above the trees created us. I can assure you they were not from here. Our air force couldn't catch one these objects if they tried. Too damned fast. If you think I'm not nuts give me a call. I have two witnesses willing to undergo hypnosis besides myself to see if we can fill in the seemingly missing half hour and to prove what we saw. I will never forget what has been burned permanently into my mind. I remember the details of this experience like it just happened. I can't walk outside without always looking up at the sky expecting something to come out the sky. It's a very unnatural feeling and I hope that it goes away. I think that this is not the end of this, somehow I just know that.

Fenelon Falls, Ontario Bright Light Turns Red & Fades Away

Date: July 12, 2005 Time: Approx: 11:30 p.m.
Message: UFO sighting: My family and I are from England, and we were on holiday visiting relatives in Canada. We were staying at my nana & granddad's cottage on an island in Fenelon Falls. It was about 23:30 on Tuesday 12th July when me and my boyfriend were down at the dock, the rest of my family were up at the camp fire at the side of the cottage. It was a clear night and I was just chatting to my boyfriend.
He noticed a light in the sky and said "what's that? I glanced up and said "Oh it's a plane", but he said " no its not, there are no flashing lights that a plane would have". The light was really bright, brighter than any other stars in the sky. Also it was traveling really, really quickly across the sky. And zig zagging through the sky as it traveled, unlike a plane or a satellite. Then it stayed in the same position, it's lights started to fade, then turned red and then it just faded until it had totally disappeared out of the sky.
Also that night about 5-10 minutes later there was a big circular flash of light in the sky in the same area of the sky where we saw the UFO, it was literally there for a second, if you had blinked you would have missed it. I don't know whether they had anything to do with each other, but it was really exciting to see. That was mine and my boyfriend's first and only experience of a UFO.
I spoke to my granddad about it that night and he has seen the same exact thing over the cottage before.

Enderby, British Columbia Object Appeared To Be Cylinder Shaped

Full Description of event/sighting: First of all I never would had told anyone else besides my wife if I had not read about a sighting in the area happening on the same morning. The article was from The Morning Star local (Vernon B.C.) news paper, page A12 August 12, 2005.
I just so happen to be wide awake at 3:00 a.m. and I decided to take a walk down the road I live on (country road). I quite enjoy watching the dawn begin to roll in. The time that I seen the object was around 4:00 to 4:30am. Prior to the moment I was thinking that some thing was observing me. Then at that moment, I seen a bright light from the top right corner of my eye, my first thought someone shot a flair gun, so I looked around only at ground level first, to see who shot the flair, then I looked up expecting to see the flair because the light had been dangling still above me while I searched the ground for whom ever.
Anyhow when I looked up, I immediately realized that the object was not a flair, it was quite clear without any confusion what It was. Because I was so sure of what I was seeing, and also extremely sure that what I was seeing was seeing me, I acted very calm and casual. I acted like, I see them every day, and that it was no big deal. I assumed it was the best way to handle the situation, they were staring right at me. It was also to let whom ever was observing me from a bright light above me know I that I am open minded to new ideas and also I'm not hostile.
It may sound silly but that is actually how I handled myself under pressure. After 10-30 seconds of this thing watching me and me watching it, during which time I became a full on believer, I waved big and friendly. The object instantly disappeared like it cloaked it's self. The reason I say cloak is because I could still feel it's presents. The last sentence I do not state as factual, I do agree it is possible to imagine that I felt the object presents after it vanished. I stared up in the sky to see if I can see it "uncloak" or anything. While doing so I saw the object, or one like start to appear, but disappeared quickly. It did not get as bright as before.
The shape of the object was like a can of soda, with something almost cone like wide end up on the top. The cone part did not have any light to it just the can shaped part.
Now the really strange part. I want to write separately from the statement above because the above statement with out any doubt I believe to be true and for the next part I am about to write well I don't expect anyone else to believe. Well here it is and I am having a hard time letting anyone know. This is that there may had some telepathy going on between the object and me. There I said it, and that is all I am going to say about that on the world wide web. If anyone cares about that last statement I will tell more privately person to person preferable my only contact info is email. And I am sure there are more details to the whole event if anyone needs just ask.

East Edmonton, Alberta Formation Of Lights, Some Looping

Full Description of event/sighting: I have been a little reluctant to report this as I made my first report ever, 2 weeks prior to this one, and I didn't want people to think that I was picking things out of the sky to see, but changed my mind as I think it's important to do*****ent. I have been sky watching nightly for 1 to 1.5 hours every night weather permitting for years, without seeing anything other than the normal satellites, occasional meteors, planes, etc. It was 11:45 when I was watching the sky to the east of Edmonton, didn't see anything exciting, and pulled my binoculars up to look through. I immediately caught sight of 5 brightly lit objects (white) traveling from east to west. They were in formation with 3 side by side and 2 above and slightly offset from each other. They stayed that way for only a second traveling at a great speed as it was hard to keep up using my binos. I thought it was a plane with its lights on, when the 2 objects above looped down and around the other 3 in a circular motion while maintaining its speed.
Then the other 3 moved in the same way around the other 2, and I lost sight of them as my building was in the way. The speed was greater than the military jets that occasionally fly over and the movement was unlike anything I have ever seen. I was so excited I tried to call my friend, but my phone died, so I jumped in my truck and drove over and woke her up to tell her. Which by the way she wasn't to impressed as she just went to bed. The whole sighting lasted maybe 5 seconds.
There are definitely some strange events happening in the skies over Edmonton.

North Vancouver, British Columbia Unknown Colored Objects

Date: July 31, August 1, August 12, 2005 (etc) Time: 11:00 p.m. - After midnight.
Location of Sighting: Vancouver, North Shore Mountains, west end - ocean. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 3 Shape of objects: orb/circular.
Full Description of event/sighting: I have been noticing this similar occurrence often recently as it gets dark in Vancouver.
The first time I was at my friend's house - house-sitting while she was away. I noticed an orb over the North Shore Mountains - over North Vancouver. I looked to my left towards Burnaby - east - and noticed another one at about the same height in the sky. At first I thought they were planets because of how large they were, they could actually be seen in the night sky - we don't see alot of stars in Vancouver due to the city lights - and the objects were changing colors and flickering.
I looked west out over the West End of Vancouver and saw another one - same height in the sky - in a triangle formation - an equilateral triangle. Same orb shape and changing colors from white to red to blue to green and continuing.
I watched them for quite sometime...they didn't move, just hung in the sky...and I realized they were too low in the sky to be stars or planets. I went inside to get something to drink, came back out and the one over by the mountains was gone. But the one to the east and west were still there. Hovering. Eventually I went inside.
I have seen them frequently in almost the same location pretty much anytime I look in those directions from my friend's balcony at night. Not always 3 but a combination. I can't see them from my house because there is too much interference from the cityscape although I did notice the one that takes up residence over the North shore mountains last night.
I have seen many UFOs in Vancouver and elsewhere in Canada since I was a young child. Some very vivid and odd experiences. I just thought I would relate this story and see if any other Vancouverites have also noticed these orbs that seem to watching or monitoring Vancouver night after night.

Full Description of event/sighting: I have been noticing this similar occurrence often recently as it gets dark in Vancouver.
The first time I was at my friend's house - house-sitting while she was away. I noticed an orb over the North Shore Mountains - over North Vancouver. I looked to my left towards Burnaby - east - and noticed another one at about the same height in the sky. At first I thought they were planets because of how large they were, they could actually be seen in the night sky - we don't see alot of stars in Vancouver due to the city lights - and the objects were changing colors and flickering.
