UFO Sightings For British Columbia In 2004 (UFO Investigator Brian Vike - The Vike Factor)
Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: Below are some of the sighting reports from 2004. There is a good number of sighting reports that came in from the Kootenay region in the southeastern portion of British Columbia and other areas in the southern part of British Columbia, Canada.
Most likely why there are a good number of sightings reports coming out of the area is I had a regular guest spot once a week for a few minutes every Friday morning on the Wayne and Jayne Show. Plus of course, people new that I was someone they could file their sightings to.
At that time, the station was called KBS FM radio. I now see the stations call letters are EZ Rock and you can find my friends at http://kootenays.myezrock.com/. My many thanks to both Wanye and Jayne for there kindness towards me.
Also, I had a regular guest spot with Adam Thompson at CJFW FM Terrace and this also brought in a lot of sighting reports throughout the Northwestern part of British Columbia. I am grateful to him for having me on.
Beam Of Light From Above Brightens Up A Mountain At Nelson British Columbia
Date: January 11, 2004
Time: 8:15 p.m.
A man, a wife and two teenaged children were travelling in their car, about 8 kilometers south of Nelson, when they noticed a narrow beam of light shining onto a nearby mountain.
They could follow the beam of light from where it was illuminating the trees, about half a mile from them, but could not see any object at the source of the light.
The woman rolled down the car window, but no sound, such as a helicopter could be heard. After about 30 seconds the light went out.

Brilliant Ball Of White Light Over Nelson British Columbia
Date: January 12, 2004
Time: 9:40 p.m.
A witness observed a brilliant ball of white light traveling slowly and extremely low over the town of Nelson, British Columbia.
The object was traveling in an easterly direction and as it got to around the Cedar Street area it broke up into two pieces, one went northward at a very fast rate of speed and the other moved slowly to the southeast.
The witness said there appeared to be no type of explosion when it separated, it just seemed to break in half.
There was no sound reported when he first noticed the light and there was no sound coming from it when it separated.
He guessed the whole event happened over a period of 7 or 8 seconds at most.

Circular Ball Of Red Light Comes To A Stop Over Prince George British Columbia
Date: January 30, 2004
Time: 9:45 p.m.
A woman and her mother watched a circular ball of red light about one block from their home. It was bright and rose up from behind the trees in the neighborhood.
It stopped briefly then moved slowly towards the west for a short distance before it came to a complete stop.
The red light then dropped down towards the trees, but stopped just short of the tops. Again it rose up rather quickly, then stopped and sat stationary for a few seconds.
As it travelled towards the west, it would occasionally make a sharp curve as if it was going around a bend. The object continued in this motion until it was out of their line of sight. The object made no sound.

Orange Lights Spotted In The Sky Over Prince George British Columbia (Case Solved)
Date: January 30/31, 2004
Time: 9:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: The reason why I thought it important to add this, is because I would like people who read the information below to know that I do investigate UFO sightings and are looking for the truth and trying to solve cases that come into me.
Know matter what the outcome is, a good part of the time, these objects may not have anything to do with an alien craft. Dozens of witnesses in Prince George, British Columbia observed this event and a very few actually saw what was causing the lights.
Many Prince George residents reported seeing two bright orange/white lights moving slowly around in the night sky.
It was eventually determined that the lights were attached to two parachutists that were sky diving at night.
On the evening of February 31, 2004, a large number of Prince George residents were stunned and puzzled over what they were witnessing in the night sky between 8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., PST.
Some called the Prince George Citizen newspaper to explain what it was they saw, and how peculiar it was. All of the witnesses, by the dozens, observed two extremely bright, orange circular lights in the sky.
The lights stayed fairly close together and did not make any sudden moments. Many residents reported the lights just hanging there for a number of minutes before moving ever so slightly. Brian Vike was contacted by the Prince George Citizen enquiring about it, and a staff reporter did an interview for Saturday, February 7, 2004, newspaper.
Over the weekend the telephone did not stop ringing. Many reports of orange lights came in from Prince George residents. Plus other very interesting reports for 2003 and back as far as the 1950s.
Some of these reports included beams of lights hitting their vehicles as they travelled along the highway. A huge ball of light hovering over the tree tops not making any sound. A line of red balls of light sitting stationary in the night sky, etc...
After taking the calls and listening to the stories, some of the descriptions started me thinking. More folks contacted me.
Some had watched the whole event unfold viewing the lights through binoculars. A retired military man was certainly the key to this case.
Plus another lady who also gave a great description of the event.
I made several enquiries to the RCMP, but the police had no information about the matter and took no calls from the general public over it.
I typed up a few reports below from the eye witnesses who called in.
Prince George, British Columbia
Date: January 30, 2004
Time: Between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
Report #1 - Report received February 7, 2004
I had a call from a lady on February 7, 2004 who wanted to file a report on something she and her husband witnessed as they were driving down Tabor from 15th.
They looked to the east and saw lights in the sky and thought at first it may have been an airplane. The witnesses mentioned they saw no strobe lights which they knew an aircraft would have.
They reported the lights were moving rather slowly. As they drove down the road they passed by the trees which blocked their view of the lights in the sky.
After they came to a clear area, they stopped the car and looked to the south and again noticed the lights.
The witnesses told me that when they saw it again, this time it appeared to look like a black balloon, or umbrella shape.
The lady said it looked as if the object would flip over, so the umbrella appearance was at the bottom and then would show up back on top.
The lady and husband reported not a sound coming from it and whatever it was, dropped downwards. The couple reported the lights as being white in color.
The witnesses estimated they observed the event for approximately 5 minutes.
The folks didn't believe the object was very far from their location and said it wasn't that high up when they first saw it.
Also they finally lost sight of the lights when they dropped down low enough that homes finally blocked their view. The people estimated the size to be roughly that of a golf ball.
One other note, the witnesses said they believed that the lights were moving diagonally as they came closer to the ground.
Thank you to the witnesses for their report.

Report #2 - Report received February 7, 2004
A gentleman called to report seeing the orange lights witnessed over Prince George on January 31, 2004. He and his wife live near 1st and the Foothills in Prince George and were planning an evening out when the walked out of their home, which faces towards the downtown area they noticed the two orange colored lights in the night sky.
They said the lights were very bright and that is what caught their attention. The witness went on to say he is used to seeing helicopters and fixed winged aircraft flying over all the time, but what he could not understand was the brightness of the lights, also how close the lights were to one another.
The couple stood just outside their front door watching the lights for a good three minutes, but due to them having reservations they had to get on their way.
The husband wondered if it might be a UFO, his wife said it possibly might be a plane, but both still thought it looked rather odd.
He told me he almost dismissed it at that time. But as they drove along 1st Avenue heading towards Tabor and not traveling very far the fellow decide it was time to pull the car over as he said one doesn't get to see anything like this very often or ever.
As they both sat watching, they were able to get a good view of what was taking place. One of the orange lights appeared to be over top of the other or maybe off to a bit of an angle to the left.
Another 3 to 4 minutes passed and the bottom light started dropping off towards the left and seemed to flicker a little bit. He thought it may have been going into some of the light clouds that were present that evening, then all of a sudden the light disappeared.
The other light was still visible and stayed around the same area in the sky for a little while longer. The witness estimated the last light held it's brilliance for maybe another 30 seconds before it started to flicker. It began to fade and then would become very bright again.
This went on for a very short period of time before it to vanished.
Again it was lightly overcast with a high ceiling. The witness also estimated the objects were roughly a finger length apart if one was to hold out their hand at arms length.
The witness stated that the lights did sit stationary for some of the time, before moving. The witnesses reported no sound was heard, and no aircraft were seen in the area.
At arm's length, using his thumbnail to guess at an approximate size of the lights, he said each one may have been one fifth of the size of his nail.
Thank you to the witnesses for their report.

Report #3 - Report received February 7, 2004
Calls kept coming into me, Brian Vike over the January 31, 2004 sighting in Prince George, British Columbia.
Below is another report from a fellow who wanted to tell me what he witnessed that evening. The evening was overcast and no stars were visible at the time of the sighting.
The man went on to tell me that his daughter spotted it first and then called to the rest of the family to come out and look at the strange lights in the sky which were reported to be just over top of one of the local mountains.
He explained that the color of the lights were an orange/white. The witness also said he thought there may have been a small tail behind each of the lights, but it was hard to distinguish for certain.
The lights were stationary for a very short time when these folks noticed them and as they watched, the lights did start to move, but ever so slightly.
They said there were two very bright lights which looked identical to one another. The man's wife said they looked like landing lights from an aircraft due to how close they were together, and the brightness of them.
They all ruled this out quickly as the lights just stayed in the one area of the sky. They observed the lights rise up for a short distance, still staying close to one another. As they watched one of the lights seemed to disappear quickly, but they didn't think it went into the clouds as he noted the cloud ceiling was rather high that night and the lights weren't close to them.
The other remaining light was seen to move back, or away from the families location and it also disappeared.
Both lights were extremely bright, and the family said they stayed that way until they finally blinked out, or just vanished.
These folks figured they watched the lights for at least two minutes before they were gone. They also reported no sound and the witnesses said if it had been a plane or helicopter, you would have certainly have heard it.
The folks estimated that the lights were approximately 10 times larger than their thumbnail.
Thank you to the family for their report.

Report #4 - Report received February 7, 2004
Now this was a very interesting call that I received from a man who resides in Prince George, British Columbia.
When I answered the phone, the fellow said he had just read their local newspaper and that he could tell me exactly what the lights were that everyone saw that evening. Below is the report the gentleman gave to me.
The fellow said he watched the whole event through a pair of field glasses. It was January 31, 2004, between 9:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. and the man claims, "it" landed two blocks from his home.
The witness said what he watched was a couple of night jumpers, jumping with parachutes with lights attached around their feet or ankles.
The man observed them coming over from the west over the hill. He mentioned that he had a fairly strong set of glasses (binoculars) and was clearly able to see the jumpers hanging in their chutes and saw when they turned their lights off.
One of them landed in a park just two blocks away from the witnesses home and the other went towards the Fraser River and the BCR Railway. The gentleman figured the were practicing night jumping.
When the jumpers were first spotted they were rather high up and he and his wife first thought it may have been an airplane. He went on to say the lights were a very bright orange in color, and the reason they were no longer visible, was simply because they had turned them off.
The fellow, now retired, was in the military himself and had done a lot of jumping out of a plane and as soon as he spotted the orange lights he thought it looked familiar due to the descent, plus the way the lights were traveling.
When he looked through his binoculars he knew exactly what it was he was seeing.
He figured the jumpers used their lights to keep track of each other and to designate where they were going to.
Once they started getting closer to the ground they turned off their lights and just used the lights from the city to land. He also said the chutes were beautiful, very modern shaped parachutes and the jumpers with such good gear were able to carry out some of the antics they pulled off that cold evening.
It was actually comical as the witness said, one of the jumpers almost turned himself upside down and then this would give the impression of the lights going back up into the night sky.
The two jumpers were carrying out some acrobatics on their way and obviously no sound was reported.

Bright Orange Moon Sized UFO Seen Over Houston British Columbia
Date: February 3, 2004
Time: Approximately 7:26 a.m.
A woman was walking through her home when she noticed a very bright orange object through the kitchen window (it was completely dark outside, the sun had not started to rise).
She called to her husband and the two of them watched a round moon-sized object that appeared to be hovering over the pasture behind their home.
The object had originally been moving slowly downwards, but then it stopped. At this point the woman grabbed her video camera and started shooting some footage.
The lady then decided to go outside and shoot some more film, but by the time she went out the front door and around to where she should have been able to see the object, it was gone.
When she went back in to the kitchen, it was back again! She shot a bit more footage until it seemed to “blink out”.

8 To 9 Blue/Green Circular Balls Of Light Over Kitchener British Columbia
Date: February 9, 2004
Time: 9:15 p.m.
A husband and wife were driving from Cranbrook to Creston, British Columbia.
As they approached Kitchener, British Columbia which is just east of Creston, they observed what they estimated to be 8 or 9 basketball-sized bright bluish/green circular balls of light flying dead flat, or horizontally from the west heading eastward.
The sighting lasted about 10 seconds before they lost sight of the lights. The lights traveled very slowly and it appeared that some would change position while they flew along.

UFO Changes To A Oval Shape Then Comes To A Stop Over Decker Lake British Columbia
Date: March 7, 2004
Time: 9:10 p.m.
A witness observed a bright white light and thought at first it might have been an airplane due to the elongated shape.
Shortly afterwards it changed into a more round or oval shape and came to a complete stop. As the witness watched the object traveling along over Pauline Mountain it flashed an extremely bright blue light.
The object did this a couple of times. At this point the witness was clearly able to see a ring of blue lights which ran horizontally around the center of the object.
The woman estimated that there had to be a dozen or more lights. The object slowly moved away until she lost sight of it. Total viewing time was about 25 minutes.

Large Bright Object With Flames In The Sky Over West Kootenay Region British Columbia
Date: March 29, 2004
Time: 2:00 a.m.
Full Description of event/sighting: Both of us were awake watching TV when an extremely bright and large object went by the bedroom window.
It looked like it was flames (yellow mainly, but blindingly bright) but we decided it looked that way as it was passing behind a fir tree outside our window.
It travelled horizontally to the ground and made no sound whatsoever. There was a reported sighting from an a nearby airport.
Additional Information: It was partially overcast, not raining, not real clear and no full moon that I recall. There was no tail or trail that we could see.
The object was travelling from west to east. Not good at judging altitudes, but lying in the same position on the bed the next day and looking at the fir tree it had gone behind, it could not have been much above the treetops travelling parallel to the ground.
Judging from the time the object stayed in view, it would have had to be at least a few hundred feet long.
I could not tell the texture because of the extreme brilliance. Since this was approximately 2:00 a.m. we were not looking for aircraft, but this could definitely not have been an aircraft and there was no sound.
We called the closest neighbour the next day, but he said he was sleeping and saw nothing.
The object was visible long enough for us both to say at the same time, "holy crap, what is that, and then it was out of sight.

Silver Low Flying Disk Observed In The Sky Over Terrace British Columbia
Date: April 2004
Time: 9:21 p.m.
I was sitting today at 21:21hrs, on my steps looking east when a silvery low flight disk flew right above me.
The object was actually silvery, but translucent and it was a clear round shape, but looked a little "watery".
The object was roughly 40-50 meters high and had a diameter of +- 6 - 10 meters. It would be hard to spot, but it flew right into my vision and disappeared straight west.
Very fast speed because I could see it only for 3 - 4 seconds. I was by myself.

Blue Object Shoots Across The Sky Over Vancouver British Columbia
Date: April 4, 2004
Time: Between 12:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m.
Around Oak/12th Street I saw a blue light (orb) shoot across the sky. First it appeared as one, then another behind it which was the same size.
This thing was moving really fast. This all took place in approximately 1-2 seconds time frame, really quick.
I had two friends with me, but they didn't see anything at all. It was so quick that by the time I saw it and took a moment to understand what I was seeing, then smacked my friend Brett, it was gone.
It happened to be my birthday.

Date: April 4, 2004
Time: 12:00 a.m.
Number of objects: 2.
Shape of objects: Cigar shaped.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was sitting on my balcony when two objects traveling south to north appeared.
They were travelling horizontally and were parallel to each other with bright red fireball heads and long bright yellow tails.
They were not very high in the sky and were moving at a steady pace for approximately 2 seconds before they disappeared.
There was no sound and the sky that night was clear and cloud free. The objects traveled in a straight line, staying right beside each other all the way.
There were no sparks. I lost sight of them due to the edge of the roof of the building beside me.

Time: 11:20 p.m.
A woman observed from her home a bright pink spherical shaped object surrounded by a dark blue aura.
The object sat low, hovering over the Smithers Ski Hill Road until it disappeared at a extreme rate of speed.
Before the lady lost sight of it, it was moving very slowly from its hovering position. There was not a sound coming from the object that she heard.
The witness stated that it was not a plane as she is used to seeing them flying over top of the area all the time since to the Smithers airport is close by.
A very important note is that the object was below the rim of the mountains. Also, the object was "not" observed near any of the ski runs.

Time: 11:10 p.m.
A married couple watched an extremely large bright white light in the southwest portion of the sky. They reported the object as being larger than any planet seen in the night sky and much brighter.
The object sat low in the sky over the trees in the distance. As the husband and wife watched the object for a short period of time, it just went up and vanished.
They said the object was visible for approximately two minutes. The witnesses mentioned that there was a mountain behind the object so they knew it hadn't dropped down behind the back of it. They said it was a strange sight.

Large Bright Pink UFO Flew Overtop Witnesses Car At Smithers British Columbia
Date: April 16, 2004
Time: 10:30 p.m. – 10:45 p.m.
The witness was on her way to work for the graveyard shift. As she traveled around a corner on Harris Road by Harris Auto Wrecking she saw a extremely large bright pink object low in the sky.
The lady said she had never seen anything like it in all the years she lived in the area and also wondered if it might have been an airplane coming in for a landing at the Smithers airport.
She told me the object had to have been the size of a full moon and on the outer edge of the object the color was a much lighter pink in color.
As the woman drove along she said it passed overhead at approximately tree top level and at approximately 100 to 200 feet away from her in distance.
As the lady and the object passed one another, she slowed her truck down and turned around to watch the object move slowly into the distance, and as she watched it finally just blinked out.
When the woman continued on her journey, after seeing the strange object, she told me that she was questioning herself, "did I just see that"!
Later that evening and at her work place, she and another lady went outside for a coffee break and the witness mentioned having seen something very strange on her way to work.
I asked the lady if she thought it might have been a flare or even fireworks someone had maybe set off. The witness said she has never seen a flare or fireworks travel horizontally just over tree top level and for such a long distance.
There was no sound noted. The object was reported to be visible for approximately one minute. This same object has been seen twice, on two different occasions in the Smithers, British Columbia area.

Large V Shaped UFO Above Kelowna British Columbia
Date: April 25, 2004
Time: 1:20 a.m.
I just read the report of a sighting on April 26, 2004 in Kelowna, British Columbia (See below report). I saw a similar object on the 25th at 1:20 a.m.
I was in Kelowna in a hockey tournament and was in bed in my hotel room. Two team members were also in the room, although one was sleeping and the other could not get to the window fast enough to witness the object.
What I saw was a "V" shaped craft as big as a DC-10. It did not have a single light on it, nor did it make any sound.
It caught my eye as I was right beside the window in my room. It was so low that the lights from the streets and buildings illuminated the bottom of it.
This event lasted approximately 5-6 seconds. As I mentioned, my other roommate dashed across the room, but missed it.
I thought for sure that this would have been in the news considering how low it flew, and no I was not drinking. I had two drinks earlier in the evening after our game at 8:00 p.m. What I have written is 100% true.

Triangular Shaped UFO Over Kelowna British Columbia
Date: April 26, 2004
Time: 9:45 p.m.
A couple were sitting outside of their residence having a cigarette. A women was the first to notice the UFO. The object was visible for approximately 20 to 30 seconds before it left the couple’s line of sight and was certainly a triangular shaped craft.
The witness said it was a glowing white in color, no lights were seen on the craft. The man guessed the object was flying at approximately 20,000 feet.
Investigator Brian Vike’s Comment: Because of how high the craft was and being night time, I wanted to make sure how the witnesses came to be able to view the object.
They explained that this was due to the color of it, it was extremely bright, and went on to say you couldn't miss it. There was no aura or glowing light surrounding it, there was no trail or tail following behind.
The witness said he saw no aircraft before or during the sighting, but said right after the object passed by, a helicopter was seen flying at a low level shining it's spotlight down towards the ground.
The craft flew in a straight line towards the northeast over Okanagan Lake. At arms length the witness guessed the object would have been 1 to 2 centimeters in length.
No sound was heard. The man said the craft was solid in colour and not just points of light in a triangular shape.
The witness also said he tried to contact the Kelowna, British Columbia airport tower, but they were closed or not answering the telephone. The sky was completely clear.

3 Unknown Objects Seen Flying Over Vancouver British Columbia
Date: April 28, 2004
Time: 4:20 a.m.
As I was walking home after work, I was staring up at the sky, as I always do. I always hope to see something more and I did.
Tonight I saw 3 different objects all within 5 minutes of one another. The first moved across the sky and looked to be weaving through stars.
The next was a object that flashed only a few times and then disappeared. The 3rd was like the first, just moving across the sky at a fairly good speed.
Like if I held my hands out above my head, stretched out, it would have gone the distance between my two outstretched hands in about 15 seconds. That's it.
Take care. you're doing great work Brian!

Triangular UFO And Large Circular UFO Over Vancouver British Columbia
Date: April 28, 2004
Time: 10:45 p.m.
This report was gathered in real-time. A call came in from two witnesses who were sitting in their car at English Bay, British Columbia. They reported that they were watching three unusual objects and giving me the description over the phone as they observed them.
The witness said she was watching the objects through her binoculars and said the one object was huge and the other two a lot smaller.
The large object was circular in shape, bright white and filled with what she described as darker dots. In the center of the object there was nothing, or one would be able to see through it.
The object was also rotating and had two smaller objects flying around it. One of the crafts was reported to be triangular in shape and the other again more circular.
The triangular craft would move a distance away from the larger object, makes sudden turns and at times they were able to observe the full triangular structure and at other times flat.
The smaller circular object would travel around the triangle shaped object and also move around the circumference of the larger object.
The witnesses were facing west when observing the three objects and added that whatever these things were, they seemed to be at a good distance from them. The skies were completely clear. The sighting is under investigation.

UFO Freaks Witness Out At Victoria British Columbia
Date: May 2004
Time: Late afternoon.
It was a Sunday and I was walking along the Swan Lake Nature Sanctuary on my way home from a friends when all a sudden I heard this high pitched humming noise that was "wavy" seeming to go louder and then quieter over and over again.
I looked above my head where it was coming from and saw the most shocking thing I have ever seen. Once I saw it, I knew it was not a plane, or any normal flying object.
When I saw it, my heart just sank, and I couldn't move. It was flying from the direction of the Common Wealth Recreation Centre to Downtown Victoria and moving at a fast pace.
The color was a grayish-white, like a normal commercial aircraft, with two dark colored (black?) lines going down the side.
I'm not sure if the lines were flat against the UFO, or going outwards. They may have been windows or something dark enough for me to see from where I was.
I'd have to say the UFO was about 500 feet maybe. I don't know that much about how high things are, but to compare the height to something else, it was about the height that normal personally owned air planes are flown.
It was a clear sky with a few clouds. Ever since that happened, I have been watching the sky nearly every night, because it has made me really interested in UFO's. I know what I saw was real.

Two UFOs Shot Off As Jet Aircraft Approached Their Position Over Christina Lake British Columbia
Date: May 3, 2004
Time: 1:20 p.m.
As a couple left their home at Christina Lake, the husband spotted two large, bright shapes in the southwestern sky.
The two objects appeared to be suspended in the sky, or sitting stationary for approximately 1 minute. Then the two objects eventually started to move as a jet airliner approached their position.
One of the objects flew slowly towards the south and the other shot off at a high rate of speed towards the northeast.
The witnesses said that the objects were a shiny metal color, no contrail was observed as they traveled from the area.
They also pointed out that there was another fellow who was seen looking up in the direction where the objects were.

Strange Lights Above The Tree Tops At Telkwa British Columbia
Date: May 4, 2004
Time: 11:30 p.m.
The night of the orange moon, I saw some strange lights happening above the trees near our home. it was 11:30 p.m. when they appeared.
It was scary because they went all over in and around the tree nursery and left. I am not sure if these are UFOs or not, but I can't describe what else they could be.
I hope that you could give some insight into what these things could be, if they are not UFOs. Thank you for you attention.

Black Triangular Shaped UFO Observed Above Greenwood British Columbia
Date: May 6, 2004
Time: 8:55 p.m.
A lady was traveling along highway #3 heading east when she observed a jet black triangular shaped craft which was flying from the east to the west.
It was getting toward dark, but the object was still easily seen in the sky due to it's dark color which really stood out.
She reports that there were no lights on it, or any other type of light source. It traveled on a straight path and also pointed out that she was not able to see any detail on the object even though it seemed to be not that high in altitude.
Not a sound was noticed, maybe this was due to her being in her car. The witness told me that she has seen the Stealth aircraft on TV and at an air show in the United States, but she said it wasn't one of these.

Bright Light Appeared Outside Witnesses Window At Telkwa British Columbia
Date: May 8, 2004
Time: 11:20 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
On May 8, 2004 I can remember it clearly because it is my brother's birthday. I saw a bright light suddenly appear through my window.
This light seemed a distance away from me. I thought that it was a flare or something, but I felt some impact on my trailer when it touched the ground.
Initially, I thought that this UFO may have crashed, but the next day, we couldn’t see any sign of a UFO crashing.

UFOs Stump Witnesses In The Sky Over Vancouver British Columbia
Date: May 9, 2004
Time: 8:00 p.m.
On Mother's day I was leaving my Aunt's house to go back to Vancouver in British Columbia, while I was waiting by the car (for my grandmother to leave my aunt's house) with my dad I noticed 3 bright stars, one larger than the other two, forming a perfect triangle.
I recognized it off the bat. I had seen the same formation a couple nights before, off my balcony in downtown Vancouver at approximately 11:00 p.m. (although that time, there was 2 triangles, one was much larger and thought it was very low, hovering above the building in front of me).
It was weird, I felt some sort of presence that made me look up. The triangle was a deep gray black, slightly different black than the rest of the night sky, and the stars (or lights) were all a whitish hue, 2 the same size with one brighter at the tip. (for both triangles)
As we were still waiting for my grandmother to arrive, I kept staring at it and it seemed to float a bit to the side, but passed it off as my eyes playing tricks on me. (it was really light out at that hour, still bluish sky) I thought it was weird to see the lights when there was no stars out yet.
My aunt escorted my grandma to the car, I pointed out the "stars" to them and my aunt looked stunned and uncomfortable, she even mentioned how she thought it was odd and that it seemed to be moving.
We drove away, and I kept watching from the back of the car. When I arrived downtown it was darker, those lights were nowhere to be seen.

Eyewitness Films Moon And Catches Strange Object/UFO From Western Oshawa Ontario (Pictures)
Date: December 28, 2014
Time: 10:27 p.m.
Happy festive season to you Brian, thanks so much for providing interesting UFO reports at this time.
I have noticed the many recent reports of multiple coloured orange lights reported over our neighbouring town of Whitby, Ontario on your site.
I thought you might find this photograph interesting.
Above Picture: What you are looking for in the photo, is a long coloured object, it is flying horizontally and just right of the chimney.
Yesterday, December 28, 2014 I was testing out my new camera for night shots. I used the moon as a subject to see how well they would turn out.
I took them facing westward towards Whitby, Ontario on my deck in western Oshawa, Ontario. While taking three pictures and examined them later, I noticed in the first picture something odd of a strange long streamlined image.
There appears to be a unknown long orange coloured tip anomaly caught on film at 10:27 p.m.
I have no idea what it truly can be and thought this interesting in conjunction with all the reports over Whitby.
It would appear that my camera caught something unconventional
At what speed this object was travelling must make one wonder ?
Enjoy and thanks for your time and interest of these unknown sky anomalies.

Report 8 - Remarkable UFO Wave Continues Over British Columbia Canada (UFO Investigator Brian Vike)
By Brian Vike (The Vike Factor - Houston, British Columbia Centre For UFO Research)
Houston, British Columbia.
Date: August 2, 2003
Time: Approximately 1:15 a.m.
I went to the Houston mall today to pick up some more tapes, when I was there one of the stores employees told me about a sighting he and his friend had when they were out camping at Irrigation Lake which is just a few minutes west of Houston, British Columbia.
Both were sitting at the lakes shore when a bright white flash of light caught their eye and traveled from the north to the south and at a high rate of speed.
Before they lost sight of it, the light started zig zagging briefly across the sky and completely disappeared.
The entire event lasted approximately 3 seconds but it did give the fellows something interesting to tell their friends.
Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: It seems there has been a lot of this type of sightings recently that I have received. Lights zig zagging across the sky. It makes me wonder what the heck these lights are.

Kelowna, British Columbia.
Date: August 3, 2003 T
Time: 8:30 p.m.
I had a telephone call from a wonderful lady who lives in Kelowna, British Columbia. She called as she read article in the Kelowna Capital Newspaper about a fellow who was requesting witnesses to a sighting come forward. She told me she saw something that was pretty peculiar around 8:30 p.m.
She told me it was remarkable to her, so much so that she wanted her neighbors around to discuss what she saw, but no one was in the area at the time.
She also believes that she may have been the only one who witnessed this object, but of course at this time she hasn't heard from anyone else yet who may have seen it.
The witness went on to say it was a perfectly round and metallic silver in colour. The object was moving across the daylight sky.
The lady also said it was round apposed to being cylindrical or egg shaped, and stressed it was as round as a ball.
The object was moving in a easterly direction and she got the impression it was very, very distant.
It moved at a steady pace, it didn't stop, it didn't hover, it just kept moving along through the sky until she lost sight of it.
She said there was no sound coming from it. No trail or tail was witnessed. The lady gave a guess at what the size of the object may have been.
She took a guess and estimated it may have been the size of a nickel, or at least close after holding out her hand at arms length.
It was estimated that the object was observed for approximately 2 minutes before she lost sight of it when it went behind the hills.

Sakinaw Lake, Sunshine Coast in British Columbia.
Date: August 7th, 2003
Time: 10:15 p.m.
Dear Brian Vike, I too saw something strange in the sky, however this was the night of August 7, 2003. Here's my story: My husband and I have a summer home at Sakinaw Lake which is on the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia.
One of my favorite things to do at night is to star gaze from the middle of the lake. The sky is so clear there compared to the city. Anyways, on August 7, 2003 I took my star gazing gear (blanket, pillow and flashlight) with me on my peddle boat and like usual snuggled down once I got to the middle of the lake.
I usually stay out for a couple of hours and watch the shooting stars before peddling back to our home. On this night approximately 10:15 p.m. or so, I spotted what I thought was another shooting star.
It streaked across the sky heading southward then stopped. I thought the shooting star might burn out, but it didn't. Instead, the light split into 4 lights which formed a square (1 light in each corner).
One of the lights was brighter than the other 3, which made me think it might be bigger than the others. It stayed in the square formation for 2 to 5 seconds before it changed forms again. Two lights stayed in place while the other 2 lights moved slightly away, then stopped.
The 4 lights together looked like a rectangle and stayed this way for 1 to 2 seconds. Then all of a sudden the 2 lights that moved to form the rectangle shot off northward, like parallel shooting stars, while the other 2 lights only separated slightly and remained stationary.
One of the 2 lights that remained was the bright one. I was shocked and couldn't believe what I saw. I stayed there until 1:30 a.m. to see if the other 2 would come back.
Then I tried to memorize the location of the 2 remaining lights before heading in, but they looked like stars amongst so many other stars. It was useless, so I peddled back home.
I told my husband and he suggested I look up UFO sightings on the internet. There are so many skeptics and believe me I would have been one too, that I said I don't think I'll bother.
My husband printed a copy of your article for me to read and that's how I read about the other sighting on July 28, 2003 and also why I'm emailing you.
If you know or hear of any one else that saw what I did that night, please let me know. I would appreciate any information you can provide.
Thank you!

Vernon, British Columbia.
Date: August 12, 2003
Time: Daytime.
Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: This report may not seem important, but it actually is due to the case I am working on, which 75 witnessed have come forward to tell their story.
This report I have for you is of a orange glow in a mushroom cloud. It was about the second day of the Anarchist Mountain fire in Penticton.
I was watching the clouds west over Okanagon Lake. Under the huge clouds were a string of smaller clouds lined up like beads. The heat haze and smoke from the south were over the lake and the whole picture was slowly moving north.
The last cloud stopped, and slowly moved deliberately and casually down behind Terrace mountain, in the opposite direction of the sky flow.
There was an orange glow in the center of the cloud. The distance is about 20 k and the cloud was about the size of the tip of my little finger.

Houston, British Columbia.
Date: August 13, 2003
Time: Approximately: 12:05 a.m.
Brian Vike talked with a gentleman who resides in Houston, British Columbia. The witness told me he packed his camera and tripod up and headed over to one of the fields on their farm.
He was going to capture some shots of the planet Mars and the Moon as it is so beautiful right now. As he was setting up his equipment, he noticed something very odd.
In a totally clear sky he watched a cloud starting to form very quickly. As he mentioned it came out of no where and seemed to be shaping up in a oblong shape.
Due to the Moon being bright, he had no problem in watching this phenomena. The fellow also said there was some type of disturbance which was taking place in the cloud itself.
He tried to explain what he saw, and the best example he could come up was, from end to end of this narrow formed cloud, it appeared to look like someone had taken a shot with a powerful gun, and the force of the shell was cutting through the cloud, causing a disturbance within, or center of the cloud which ran from end to end.
There was no lights/object seen at all, just this strange long mass of cloud which appeared right out of nowhere. It sat stationary for approximately 4 to 5 minutes and dissipated.

Between Nelson And Salmo, British Columbia.
Date: August 14, 2003
Time: Approximately: 11:20 p.m.
A husband and wife were traveling back home from Salmo to Nelson, British Columbia. They were driving on Highway #6 and along side the Salmo River when to their right, flying at the top of the mountain was a round red ball of brilliant light.
The witnesses said it moved very quickly, to fast to be an airplane and hugged the contour of the mountain. Due to there being some distance between them and the red light, no sound was heard.
The total time they watched the light was approximately 6 to 7 seconds at tops. I was also told that others traveling on the highway had also witnessed the same red light as some folks were discussing what they saw back in their home town.

Vancouver, British Columbia.
Date: August 17, 2003
Time: 11:45 p.m. (?)
Last night was spectacular. Looking out from Coal Harbour over Lions Gate Bridge, my wife (who is a skeptic) and I were treated to a fantastic dance by numerous "objects".
It was not that the binoculars were unsteady, one object would race in all directions in front of another object which remained steady, so there could be no question about what it was doing.
The motions, in all directions, including criss-crossing, were incredibly fast, about as fast as the eye could follow.
We are using 10x50 WA binoculars and it would not be readily seen with the naked eye.
Hope you find this information worthwhile reading.

Penticton, British Columbia.
Date: August 18, 2003
Time: 11:15 a.m.
A gentleman called me on August 18, 2003 to report that him and a work mate were out on their lunch break which is from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
They were sitting outside against the building talking and looking towards the south taking in the view of the mountains. Now looking towards the southwest the one witness observed a long, silver point of light.
He said it would have been approximately the size of a key at arms length. The witness thought it may have been a reflection of an airplane as that was his first thoughts, but he just took his eyes off it for a split second, and when he looked back up at it, it was gone. (He said nothing at this point to his friend)
The two men kept eating their lunch and a few seconds later the witnesses friend said, quick look over there, the friend now caught something with his eyes.
When the witness turned to look at what his friend was pointing at, the object had vanished. His friend said it disappeared so quickly, and he said it just faded out into the blue sky. When the friend saw the object he said it was the size of a nickel at arms length.
Both men reported seeing it coming from the west and in a few seconds it was in the east, the size of a nickel. They reported the color as being a metallic silver, and at the end of the sighting the friend said it looked just like a sphere in shape. That was the last time the fellows seen the object in the sky.

Kamloops, British Columbia.
Date: August 22, 2003
Time: 10:00 p.m.
A lady called and reported something she could not explain flying over southern Kamloops. She said it looked like a squared off kind of craft with four lights, nothing like an airplane or helicopter.
She telephoned the Kamloops airport to see if they had any other sightings of this kind come into them, but after leaving a message at the airport on an answering machine, they never did get back to her.
Also she called the RCMP and they told her they had no other reports come in on this and mentioned to her that she must have been blurred by the smoke in the area and thought she saw something.
The witness swears what she saw was something not of this world in nature.

Time: 11:10 p.m.
A lady residing in Kimberley, British Columbia called a family member to go out and look towards the southwest as the witness was watching a strange sight.
When the other family member ran outside, both the ladies in different locations in Kimberley, and watched two small, but bright white lights high up in the sky dance around.
The woman reported that the lights appeared to be chasing one another and at other times the lights would stay stationary.
The witness reported that this took place for approximately 2 minutes and the lights did cover a good portion of the sky when they appeared to be chasing one another. After the two minutes has passed both lights disappeared.

Thornhill, Terrace British Columbia.
Date: August 24, 2003
Time: 10:02 p.m.
Hi Brian, On August 24, 2003 I was by myself and witnessed a bright, white colored object traveling from the northwest to the southeast.
It got bright over Thornhill, but dimmed somewhat towards your direction. I believe it was no plane, meteorite or satellite as it did look really strange.
The sky was +- 30 % overcast. No sound was heard coming from the light/object. There were no stops, no hovering, nothing strange regarding behavior and I would say it was +- 10-30 m in diameter.

Kimberley, British Columbia.
Date: August 26, 2003
Time: 11:05 p.m.
I received a telephone call from a Kimberley resident at 11:30 p.m. and she said she was visiting family which is at the northern end of Kimberley, British Columbia by the Cominco Mine area and she said there were a couple of them standing outside and a family member happened to notice a jet airliner going over head from east to west.
The witness told me what her family member did see was certainly a jet. All of a sudden the witness saw what she thought was a shooting star just to the north of the jet, but a lot higher up.
She says it started out like a shooting star, but then there was a flash of white light and then it happened again approximately 20 seconds later and another flash.
They both stood wondering if this may have been another jet as this one was going in a northwesterly direction. But as the witness watched she mentioned that the intervals weren't the same as a jet airliner. (meaning the flashing of the jets lights).
It then disappeared and then in another 20 to 30 seconds there was another flash of light.
The witness says this is where it gets a bit odd and figured it wasn't another jet that she was aware of.
Thinking maybe it was something the military was flying overhead. She saw a flash in front of the object and it reminded her of a laser light.
She also said you could see the light zapping a good distance in front of the object. It again disappeared and in another 50 seconds or so later there was another flash of light.

Houston, British Columbia.
Date: September 2, 2003 and September 3, 2003
Time: Approximately 11:05 p.m. and 11:45 p.m.
An elderly couple living on Bold Road, just off Buck Flats Road reported that they watched a very strange object hovering over top of Pea Cock mountain.
They believe that it was round in shape and had lights running around outside the object. They observed it moving along the top of the mountain for about a kilometer before it stopped, then quickly dropped behind the mountain. No sound was heard.
The next night, at about 11:45 p.m., the same object showed up over the mountain, but more towards the south.
This time the object did not move in any direction and was observed for about 6 to 8 seconds before it dropped out of sight.
Again no sound was heard, and the object, or light coming from it, was extremely bright.
Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: This was certainly not a star, or Mars. The second date of the sighting the object was a good height off the top ridge of the mountain, and if a star it would have taken sometime to drop down and out of sight.
Also I asked the local helicopter businesses to see if they had any flying in the area at the time of this sighting. There was none flying at that time. Everything was shut down before dark.

Just before entering her home, a lady saw a huge cylinder-shaped craft flying very quickly and low to the ground.
It had a large number of bright white lights running down the full length of the object, possibly windows she thought.
There were no wings noticed on the craft. No sound was heard and the sighting lasted for about 5 seconds.
Upon entering her home she discovered, from her boyfriend, that their cat had been going "nuts" during the time that the object was passing by.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: This little story below turned into some story which I will try to find.
Date: September 10, 2003
Time: 8:50 p.m.
A couple were outside tending to their farm animals when they heard a sound coming from the north.
They looked up to see a bright white light travelling directly towards them. It passed soundlessly over top over their farm, heading south.
The sound that they had heard was still coming from the north, and getting louder. Shortly, two very large military type helicopters appeared, flying low and following the same direction as the light had taken.

“I was sitting outside facing west when a huge saucer, 4 times moon size, materialized out of nowhere right in front of me.
I was not looking in any way, just listening to music and relaxing after a 10 hour day of splitting firewood.
The object of intensive white color did have a saucer shape and the outline was in light red. The object must have been only 35-40 meters away, or even closer, and it was not sitting still, but moving up and down.
I got very scared and my heart started pumping like crazy. I am still shaking. The whole scenario lasted for only 15 seconds before the saucer became invisible.
There was some heat coming from it and it stank like rotten eggs, a sulphur-like smell but somehow different
"Everything took place just 10 minutes ago. I am still shaking."

Castlegar, British Columbia.
Date: October 1, 2003
Time: 8:30 p.m.
Greetings, Brian. It was suggested to me that I e-mail you to let you know that my family witnessed a strange event on Wednesday night, October 1st, 2003, roughly around 8:30 p.m.
I also understand others may have seen the same flashing lights. My name is (deleted by Brian Vike), I live in Ootischenia, just outside of Castlegar, next to the Castlegar Airport.
It was a clear night, and I was looking to the north sky at the Big Dipper. I caught a glimpse of a flashing red/green and white light moving across the sky towards the west.
I thought it was an jet flying towards Vancouver, but then I returned my glance towards the east, above the Kootenay River valley, where the jet seemed to appear from, I saw another flashing light.
A called my husband to come and see this, and he saw what I saw, then we observed another appear from the east fly over Mount Sentinel and move towards the west.
My three children joined us in our observations of the unidentified objects in the night sky. These were not jets!
Within a few minutes, there were five of these objects in the sky at one time flying in various directions.
Two in particular seemed to meet up with one another and hovered across from one another for about a minute or two, then one flew directly below it, and hovered there for less than a minute, then flew in a north eastern direction towards the back of Mount Sentinel.
It flew out of sight, then in about another minute or so, reappeared from the east, (where they all seemed to come from).
"We watched these objects for about 15 minutes, then they all disappeared behind the mountains in the horizons.

Date: October 1, 2003
Time: 10:30 p.m.
A couple of witnesses who were working the late shift at the Quesnel, British Columbia Wal-Mart saw something burning across the sky at a very low altitude.
The witnesses said the object was a brilliant red in color and traveled across the sky until they lost sight of it behind the local mountains.
The object was heading to the southeast. Both of the witnesses discussed the sighting and figured out what they witnessed was a meteor.
One of the men said there were flames coming off from the back end of it. Time observed was about 1 and a half minutes.

Slocan Park, British Columbia.
Date: October 1, 2003
Time: Approximately 10:40 p.m.
On Wednesday night, October 1, 2003, I was taking a bath. I have a large window over the bathtub facing the northwest and I like to look at the stars.
At approximately 10:40 p.m., a glowing white ball dropped from the sky. It did not descend at an angle as meteorites tend to do, nor did it have a green cast.
It was absolutely white and it came straight down at very high speed with a white tail of light behind it.
It appeared to be fairly close by in that I could see that the object was round. Looking at a map the next day, I determined the exact area my window faces.
It seems likely to me that it came down in the Southern half of the Little Slocan Valley, near Valican, unless the object was huge and therefore, further away.

A woman was washing dishes in the kitchen sink when she looked out the window and noticed an oblong-shaped object in the northwestern sky.
The front of it was blunt, with a "tiny" tail behind it which went to a sharp point. She described the color as being white with a glow around it being an off white color.
She watched it for about 8 minutes before it disappeared to the northeast. The witness did open the window, but no sound was heard.

Time: 12:00 (noon time)
A man and his son were out cutting firewood near Paradise Lake, which is located about 6 kilometers east of Telkwa, British Columbia.
As the fellows were loading the truck up with the firewood they cut, the son yelled out to his father to look north and just above the tree tops.
A large glowing white globe of light flew very quickly, almost skimming the tree tops. The object was heading toward the Babine Lake area.
There was not a sound heard coming from the light, even though the light was maybe 300 feet away from the men when they first witnessed it.

Vancouver, British Columbia.
Date: October 19, 2003
Time: 11:30 p.m.
Hi, I am reporting seeing a strange big reddish ball of light which appeared to fall from the sky. I live downtown Vancouver on the 25th floor facing northeast.
The light seemed to be over the airport. At first I thought it was a plane, but after watching it, it was much larger than a plane light and was falling vertically.
I was waiting for some type of explosion, but it just disappeared into the horizon, like it fell off the edge of the Earth so to speak.
Weird I saw this happen at about 11:30 p.m. on October 19, 2003.
As it appeared to be over the airport I think it must of been much farther as it seemed to vanish just to the right of where Mount Baker is on the horizon.

7:00 p.m.
A woman was driving a number of young girls back from a dance rehearsal in Smithers, British Columbia to Houston.
As she drove up Hungry Hill, she noticed an very bright white object in the sky. It suddenly dropped from a higher elevation to just above the tree tops.
It was flat like a dinner plate with a single green light on the bottom of it. It was generally moving in a westerly direction, but at one point it made rapid-paced movements in various directions.
No sound was heard even though she believes they were within half a mile of it at their closest.
Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: I remember this report well. When I spoke to the lady she was still upset about what she saw. She was worrying for all the children’s safely and was very shaken by the close encounter.

Vernon, British Columbia.
Date: November 15, 2003
Time: 9:00 p.m.
A woman was sitting in her living room watching television when something bright caught her attention. She reports seeing a large bright florescent green colored round ball of light traveling horizontally across the sky from the north to southwest.
She reports no tail or trail following the object. She observed the object for about 4 to 5 seconds before she lost sight of it.
There was a low cloud ceiling that evening and the green object was well below it. No unusual maneuvers or sound were noted.
The lady believes that the object was quite large. With her hand held at arm's length it would be the size of her thumb.

A couple were driving up a hill on Highway #16 (just before Babine Forest Products) when they saw a red ball of light in front of them.
It was low in the sky and travelling at an angle downwards, behind the hill they were climbing. As they lost sight of it, they noticed that the crest of the hill, the highway and the tops of the trees were all bathed in a reddish glow.
They could not see the source of the red glow, but hoped to once they got to the top of the hill. Unfortunately, the red glow suddenly went out just before they reached the top.
They slowed down and kept their eyes open, but did not see the red ball again.

Creston, British Columbia.
Date: November 25, 2003
Time: 9:20 p.m.
Two men driving from Creston, along Highway 3 heading west towards Fruitvale, saw briefly a number of bluish lights off in the distance, heading east towards their direction at a very low altitude.
As they drew closer, the lights seemed to spread out and then, suddenly, all of the blue lights blinked out at once.
The two men thought it was rather strange as they had never witnessed anything like this before.
They were not able to make out any type of shape, or structure as everything took place rather quickly.
The story does not end here. It was not until a short time later that the two men realized that they had travelled about 25 kilometers without any conscious memory of the distance.
The driver had blood trickling down from his right nostril. Both men became very cold and thirsty. Later, the driver broke down and was crying uncontrollably.
Both men experienced vivid dreams that night. One man remembers being inside an object, or room.
I will provide an update when we can.

Houston, British Columbia.
Date: December 8, 2003
Time: 8:45 p.m.
Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: This was some awesome sighting and I can see the area where this took place at my home. I just wished I was looking out my window when I craft was observed. Also, I found out later that the Houston RCMP took a report from another Houston, British Columbia resident.
A husband and wife were just returning home, and as they pulled into their long driveway they saw their two kids standing outside yelling and pointed towards the mountain behind their home.
The husband stopped the car quickly and both parents jumped out in fear as they had no idea what was wrong, thinking the worst. They almost immediately noticed a white oval shaped object sitting stationary over the back of their property.
The oval shaped object had a solid ring of blue lights which seemed to be moving around the white colored object.
A slight and annoying hum could be heard coming from it. The mother went over and grabbed the two children and went into the house with them, the dad followed close behind.
They thought it would be safer being inside looking out. Once inside the home, they proceeded to a back bedroom, closed the door behind them as not to allow any light from inside the home to give away where they were (feeling frightened at this time).
Through the window they watched the object, still sitting in the exact spot from when they first noted it. The trees which were below it were all lit up in a white light, and for a good distance around the area.
After a total of about 4 minutes of watching this unusual craft, it slowly started to move. As it did so the witnesses claimed they could see sparks dropping off the bottom side of it.
The sparks were reported to be a white in color. It rose up rather slowly and as it reached the top of the mountain, they lost sight of it.
The craft did not blink out, they thought it just crossed over the top and maybe moved down the other side. They reported that whatever it was, it was huge.
The husband said it was not a helicopter, no way ! He said they were very close to this thing, and what noise it gave off was minimal, except for the constant humming sound. The husband also said area residents would have been blind not to see this as it was so bright and large in size.

--------------------
Sicamous, British Columbia.
Date: December 26, 2003
Time: 11:30 p.m.
Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: I have video footage which was sent to me for this case from the eyewitnesses, If I can find it as I have boxed up a bunch of my UFO goodies, I will post it. Also I should mention, I did speak to the RCMP officer who attended the call. He told me he did not know what the object was and he did try to get closer to the object, but wasn’t able to due to the terrain.
On Boxing Day the dispatcher for the Sicamous, British Columbia RCMP detachment took a call from an excited woman who requested the RCMP come to her home and look into the unusual sight that had been taking place over a period of time.
While making the report to the RCMP, the witness felt that she wasn't being taken seriously, and that maybe they thought her to be a little crazy.
However, about an hour later, a member of the RCMP arrived in her yard, then it was a different story. As soon as the officer saw the object, he stood and looked in amazement.
The police officer had no idea what it was. The officer left the family’s home and drove towards the mountain where the object was sitting, to get a closer and better look.
As well as watch the events through their binoculars and with their naked eyes, the family also video-taped the object(s).
The acorn shaped, or diamond shaped, UFO was for the most part, moving quickly and erratically around the sky and it was zig-zagging back and forth.
At one point, when it was stationary, it shot out a large red fireball, and then six bright orange lights appeared in the sky around it.
Each of the orange lights had another two white lights on them. These white lights shot a beam of light towards the ground.
Approximately half an hour later, four more of the large acorn/diamond shaped objects showed up and sat either stationary or moved around the sky.
The witnesses said the objects appeared to have hundreds of lights on each of them.
Prior to December 26, 2003 the husband had seen a similar object up in the mountains near his home. While waiting for his daughter and her cousin to return with the snowmobile, he saw an object in the sky covered in lights.
He estimated that the UFO was a mile away, and as big as a house. He was so excited and frightened at what he saw that he immediately drove back home, ran into the house and told his wife.
He wanted his wife to go back with him to pick up the kids because he didn’t want to wait alone!
The previous owners of the family’s home also stated that they had seen silver disk-shaped objects flying over and around the mountains behind the house, on many occasions.
This story proved interesting enough that the television station (CHBC TV out of Kelowna, British Columbia) sent a news crew to interview the family and to get a copy of the footage. CHBC TV is a part of the Global TV network which is one of Canada's giants in the media business.
The story ended up airing not just on that station, but aired all over British Columbia on Global BCTV. They ran the story at least three times as a part of their news.
Once at 6:00 p.m. Friday night, again at 11:00 p.m. and again on the Saturday morning news. As I was the investigator on the case they also called me a number of times and interviewed me about the story. The news gave this story a good length of time to play out on TV which was really great to see.
Something else of interest prior to these sightings but in the same area was when an RCMP officer who was out on his usual rounds in his patrol car ... noticed an object in the sky and was instantly hit with a beam of light from it. After his shift was over and upon his return to his detachment he informed his co-workers of what he had seen. They thought he was seeing things. Now perhaps they have a different interpretation of the event.

Orange Colored Lights/Objects Seen In The Sky From Corner Brook Newfoundland
Date: September 6, 2014
Time: 11:50 p.m.
Number of Objects: One moving orange light and a few minutes later a formation in a diamond shape of 4 orange lights. standing still
Shape of Objects: Numerous.
Colour of Object: Orange.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: At 11:50 p.m. I was leaving my house to pickup my son at work. When locked the door of my house, I noticed a non blinking orange light to my right moving very slowly in the sky approximately 700 to 1000 feet in the sky.
My first thought, is what am I looking at here. There was no sound as the orange light kept moving from the south to north towards me.
It appeared to be following the transmission line between Confederation Drive and MacPherson Avenue. I observed the moving light for approximately 1 minute before it went behind a tree from my view.
Since my son got off work at mid-night I got in my car and proceeded to his location. On route proceeding south on Confederation Drive I was scanning the sky for this orange object.
It was then I noticed the formation of 4 non blinking lights to my left about 5,000 to 7,000 feet in the sky above Dennis GM auto dealership.
These 4 orange lights were not moving. I observed them for a minute and then continued on to pick-up my son. After picking up my son he informed that they lost internet service around 11:15 p.m. and was still not operating when he left work.
I told him about what I had seen in the sky and we proceeded to return to the area where I had last seen the 4 standing orange lights.
This all occurred in a time frame of approximately three minutes. The orange lights were not there. A couple of nights later I received a call from my son around 10:00 p.m. informing me to look over the bay as he and a friend were observing a single orange light on the hills on the north shore of the Bay of Islands.
From my advantage point I could not see them. On the 16th December a low flying military flight flew over Corner Brook around noon time.
The flight was very close to the path of the single orange light I had observed moving in the sky on September 6, 2014 and after flying this path it banked to the left and flew low over the north side of the bay where my son and friend had observed the single orange light.
The following day a picture of the plane banking to the left was in the newspaper, the Western Star. It was reported that the military flight was a C130 cargo plane.
The plane I saw did not look like a cargo plane to me. My son did not see the flight, but the picture he saw in the newspaper appeared to be a military C140, search and rescue plane which he says contains all kinds of surveillance equipment .
What do you make of this ?
