Date: August 7, 2007 Time: 1:00 a.m.
Approach Direction: From the west, then turned north. Departure Direction: North. Witness Direction: West.
Description: Sitting on the beach with two friends we all saw a green light cruising along the southern shore of the lake. The winds were calm and the water was glossy and smooth. The light was on or just above the water as it came towards us. It turned north in a very smooth curve but accelerated rapidly heading north in the centre of the lake. No sound or water displacement of any sort. A white light on it's (tail?) briefly appeared then both lights faded to nothing as it approached the bridge. The sighting lasted about 15-20 seconds and it covered at least 2km in that time, a bare minimum of 360km/hour without a sound and only inches off the water.
It's motion was very smooth in a way I've never seen. We discussed what we were looking at as it was happening and agreed that it was very unusual. Definitely an unidentified flying/floating object.

Bells Lake, Grey County Ontario Object Accelerated Quickly

Bells Lake, Grey County - 6 KM due West of Markdale Ontario, Canada (80 44 12 W 44 18 25 N)
Approach Direction: South. Departure Direction: East. Witness Direction: South.
Description: My wife and I were paddling our Kayaks on Bells Lake. It was just starting to get dark and I was watching the sky for the first stars of the evening. I was looking at Jupiter when suddenly I saw a very bright object rising to the southwest of the Planet. After about 30 seconds of observation I pointed out to my wife that it may be the ISS . It was about the same inclination, brightness and speed. After watching it for a couple of minutes the object was not moving fast enough to be the ISS. It began to slow as it continued North/North East. I was in shock, I am an avid armature satellite fan and have been watching the sky for decades. There were the usual high flying aircraft in the sky but this object wasn't one of them. I am use to seeing interesting reelections off the high flyers at low sun angels but this object wasn't one of them. The object continued to rise until it was about 70 degreed in elevation due South then it turned towards the east, now my jaw dropped, as it headed east it accelerated.
The luminance when it approached from the south, then went east didn't change, bizarre ! I watched it until it dropped over the tree line.
I know it wasn't an aircraft, I know it wasn't a Satellite in orbit !
I think it may have been a weather balloon catching a different air current or it may have been a launch !
Color/Shape: Bright white light, didn't change luminance much. My wife saw spikes. I saw a spike pointing down as it moved over the horizon to the east.
Height & Speed: Height approach , 500 Km . Speed 20,000 Kmh at first. Slowing to ? Then speeding up to 20,000 Kmh as it dropped over the eastern horizon.
TV/Radio/Press: No but it should be !

Location of Sighting: My backyard, St-Joseph Rd. Number of witnesses: 3 Number of objects: 3 Shape of objects: Balls of light.
Full Description of event/sighting: This was the night of August 7th, 2007. It was about midnight or 1:00 a.m. when I when upstairs. I looked outside and immediately I saw this flying object in my backyard. It wasn't in my backyard, but it was viewable from it, but it was very far. I observed it for a couple minutes as it hovered above some trees. It's lights blinked several different colours. I wasn't sure what it was. So I asked my girlfriend if she could come upstairs and see this thing, at first, she didn't believe me. But I showed her, and we both observed this object. It blinked, hovered. Then all of a sudden, it shone a very bright orange light. It did this a few times, then started to move very slowly to the left. We went outside and into my backyard, where there were no lights so it made it very easy to observe the sky. It was a cloudless night, with all the stars visible.
The object flew to the left very slowly, then stopped, lowered, and started going to the right again. Then it stopped at the exact same place as it started. Then, we saw another object come in. It started to fly towards the first object. They were the same size and shape. We also noticed another thing: The red lights blinked at the exact same time. The first object flew even further to the right, raised itself. Flew behind some trees and disappeared. The second object stopped, lowered itself, and started to fly to the right as well. It disappeared.

Full Description of event/sighting: It looked like a plane, it sounded like a plane, light grey/off white in color, but with bigger wings than a plane and it was flying backwards. (am I crazy ?).

Canoe, British Columbia A Cylinder Shaped White Object

Location of Sighting: In the sky. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Cylinder.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was outside having a smoke, I was looking up in the sky like I usually do and kind of out from no were was this cylinder shaped white object flying in the sky. It wasn't flying as high as a commercial air craft, but it was low enough to see that it didn't have any wings on it and it wasn't making a sound and had no contrails. It wasn't going really fast. This is the first time I have ever seen something like this. My sister had witnessed this with me.
Additional Information:
I was able to watch this object for a good minute or so. There was a few clouds in the sky, the big fluffy kind. The object had blue sky behind it so it was very visible. Thanks alot.

West Of The City Of Lethbridge, Alberta Bright Light Turns Red

Location of Sighting: West of the City of Lethbridge. Number of witnesses: 4 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Round - Looked like a headlight then went red and dim.
Full Description of event/sighting: During the early morning hours of August 11, 2007 at approximately 12:30 a.m. I was standing outside the Lethbridge Lodge Hotel. An extremely bright light, high in the sky caught my attention. I remember thinking, "that's odd, a plane with a spot light on it". The object had no flashing lights, moved unusually slow and resembled that of a giant headlight. This object was extremely bright and appeared to be very high in the sky (approx 20,000 feet). As I faced west looking approx 45 degrees in the sky, the object was travelling directly at me in an easterly direction, again, at a very slow rate of speed. As the object got closer I thought it to be about half the size of a full moon whilst high in the sky. The object then came to a stop made a 90 degree turn to the left (north) and travelled at the same slow speed in that direction.
After travelling North for approx 10 to 15 seconds the bright light began to fade slowly then turned a very bright red color, then back to white and then disappeared while still travelling north. Shortly before and after seeing this bright light, I did see several falling stars. This bright object that I saw in the sky did not in anyway shape of form resemble a falling star. Stars fall or shoot. This was travelling very slow and had no flashing lights. Shortly after the sighting I was joined by a co-worker. I said to him, "you wouldn't believe what I just saw!", he said. "What, the bright light in the sky". I said "ya, you saw it too." He said yes, him and 2 other friends were watching it as well. Before saying anything to him about what exactly I saw, I asked him to describe to me what he saw. He described exactly what I saw, including the "red" color and the brightness.

Kootenay Boundary, British Columbia Object Breaks In Two

Date: Week of August 5, 2007 Time: Late evening/early morning (?)
Location of Sighting: Kootenay Boundary. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1, maybe more. Shape of objects: ?
Full Description of event/sighting: In the middle of the night, sometime in the week of August 5th, I saw a shooting star in the southeast, nothing out of the ordinary. But as I scanned around more towards the west when I saw a star-like light, but it looked almost as if it split somewhat with one piece going one way, and another off in another direction. I couldn't follow exactly what happened with the pieces, if they disappeared or what, but the main piece had traveled from the south, northward quite quickly. At times it looked like there could have been more than the one light emitting from it. It moved quite fast, and kind of slowed down and almost "danced" when it came close to other stars. Whether it continued to travel north after the point where I could no longer see it, I don't know. It was high enough up that it was fainter when it passed by atmospheric cloudy parts of the sky. It was really hard to describe, I don't think it could have been a satellite due to the speed it traveled. I don't know about the possibility of a space station because I don't know much about them. It was really bizarre and didn't act like most natural happenings up there. It didn't act like a meteor would, but perhaps. Would anyone know what this would be.

Winnipeg, Manitoba Object Stops And Makes A 90 Degree Turn

Hi, at approximately 1:00 AM while watching for the annual meteor shower my wife and I seen a strange object go across the sky. My wife asked me if that was a satellite, but it was going too fast. Suddenly the object stopped then turned a sharp 90 degrees for a short distance then curved into a different direction then disappeared. As we seen this from Winnipeg while watching the annual Perseid meteor shower, I suspect that we were not the only ones to see this unusual event.

Hi Brian, The answers are below:
Around 1:00 AM, August 12th is when we spotted the object.
The object seemed to be around the same height as the satellites and that being the case appeared to be approximately three times the size and four to five times the speed of a regular satellite. One more thing that we did not mention is that it appeared to be an oblong shaped object but it was hard to tell due to the speed it was traveling
There was no colour that we noticed.
We could not hear any sound.
We seen the object traveling for about 15 seconds.

Hi, at approximately 1:00 AM while watching for the annual meteor shower my wife and I seen a strange object go across the sky. My wife asked me if that was a satellite, but it was going too fast. Suddenly the object stopped then turned a sharp 90 degrees for a short distance then curved into a different direction then disappeared. As we seen this from Winnipeg while watching the annual Perseid meteor shower, I suspect that we were not the only ones to see this unusual event.

Full Description of event/sighting: We were outside watching the meteor shower when we noticed a large plum sized really bright yellow light moving fast across the sky. It got bigger then started to vanish into the sky! We knew it wasn't a satellite as we had seen many satellites tonight which were small star like objects moving fast, totally not the same! This isn't the first time seeing this. Well for me, but I was with my landlord who has seen something exactly the same a few weeks back with her husband. This is very scary! We did not see this again tonight, but wonder is it true?

Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, I was sitting on deck while waiting for my wife to come home from work. Observed a numbers of planes on departure from YVR coming my way for once, (heading east) Also observed a number of meteorites, one which appeared to be over White Rock was quite spectacular. The sky had quite of but of clear space with odd groups of patchy clouds. A large white light suddenly appeared almost due west of me and at approx: 45 degrees above the horizon and just above the cloud cover. At first I thought maybe a plane had just turned on it's landing lights, but when I checked with my binoculars it appeared to be a fairly large round luminescent globe without any strobes. Definitely not an aircraft. It was traveling about the same speed as the commercial planes. Heading from south to north. I watched it for approx: ten seconds as it crossed a clear spot and then moved behind a small cloud surrounded by clear sky. I watched it about half way as it passed behind the cloud until it just vanished. I waited and watched for it to come back into the open, but never saw it again.

North Vancouver British Columbia ISS Or UFO ?

Location of Sighting: North Vancouver BC. Number of witnesses: 0 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Single spectral white "starlike" spot in motion.
Full Description of event/sighting: I have observed many satellites in the usual way, and was at one time a member of the Regina Astronomical Society many years ago. While looking at the "Persied" shower towards NE, August 12 at 11:10 pm, clear sky, a single 'starlike' object looking exactly like a normal satellite (where the satellites are illuminated by the sun after sunset); moving steadily and slowly towards the NE. Object visible for approximately 3 minutes until it left the area. The object may have tracked in a gentle arc, suggesting an orbital skew from my POV. The track put it directly overhead North Vancouver at highest point.
Single point source of spectral white light; no shape discernable, silent, no pulsing lights as on an aircraft.
My take: Too sharp, steady and small to be a white bird illuminated by city lights, also too sharp and too spectral to be a balloon or any kind of floater. Lack of navigation lights or any blinking on and off suggests it is not an airliner.
Most important: Since the sun had set at approximately 8:45 or so, the object could not have been illuminated at 11:15 pm, so either it was carrying it's' own source of light such as a beacon or ? or if it was illuminated by sunlight it would have to be one hell of a distance from earth to stay in sunlight and be travelling much faster than anything we sent up. (Passing asteroid?). I doubt it !
When I checked the orbital records of the ISS, it shows one pass over Vancouver on August 12 at exactly the same time or so it seemed, but I couldn't get my computer to agree with me. I am left with the possibility that it could have been the ISS with its' attached Endeavor and with its' work lights turned on for the crew to do some work of some kind. Otherwise, where did the illumination come from?

Port Coquitlam, British Columbia Bright Light Flys Over The Witnesses Home

Location of Sighting: Port Coquitlam. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 3 Shape of objects: Well it was up there but round bright light.
Full Description of event/sighting: Was sitting out side having a smoke, now I always look up when I am outside at night because of something I saw a few years back and since then I have always wanted to know what is going on up there. I'm looking up and I see a really bright white light go right over my house. It stops and dims almost till I couldn't see it anymore. It now blends in with the stars as it looks just like one, but it was just moving a second ago. I keep my eyes fixed on its location, it starts to move again and continues in the direction it was going until I couldn't see it again. I am like, what the heck. Did I just see what I saw, as I haven't ever seen something as close as that thing was. About 2-3 minutes later I see 2 star like objects going in the same direction. They don't change in brightness but continue on until I can't see them anymore.
Ok I have a few questions I want to know, if there are any celestial events that were going on the date of Aug 13/07. Also I would like to know if there is any phone reporting center located in Vancouver. And last but not least, I would like to know if there is someone that I could talk to about things that I have been seeing in the night sky so that I can better determine what I am looking at.
Please if you have any info about my questions please help.

Vancouver, British Columbia Ongoing Sightings

Date: Past two months (June, July, August 2007) Time: Approx: 11:00 p.m.
It's been quite a while since I have taken consideration of UFOs, the thought always remained in my head if they where real or not. I have always been a fan though and sought to believe they are real. Just recently, maybe the past two months I have been seeing strange things in the night sky, strange objects moving. Just looks like shooting stars but without the trails that belong to them and very naked to the eye. It's strange though because its not just once in a while, its like maybe 4-6 times a night.
I will see these fluttering about. Just recently around 11:00 p.m. I was standing on my front porch, to see a very bright large one with two moving behind it zipping in the other direction. And shortly after, in less then maybe two hours I went out for a run recording them into my mind of seeing 10 (I had to stop running to just make sure it wasn't me). Some I have seen seem to disappear and reappear or never seem to come back out of the background of a thin cloud.
My first UFO encounter was when I was probably 13, my first year in high school staying out late I saw one, well believed to have seen one. Now I'm 19 and seeing all these. I defiantly know that something strange is happening. Something strange enough for me to be seeing these zig and zag for the past 2 months, and the fact that others have seen it on my street and locally is the weirder part. I wish I knew an answer honestly. Maybe a real war of the worlds is actually happening above us on this tiny rock we call home.

South to Southwest of Edson, Alberta Strange Object Returns Then Drop Downward

Location of Sighting: South to Southwest of Edson. Number of witnesses: 8 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Circular.
Full Description of event/sighting: It was just after midnight on Aug.3/07 when a group of 8 of us just finished watching a movie. My little sister and I went out on our Southeast facing deck to have a smoke. I looked to the South and saw this bright twinkling object. At first I didn't point it out to my sis because I thought it must be a plane, but it started just getting brighter in the same spot but moving irregular. At that point I showed her and asked her what she thought that was and her initial reaction was a plane and I told her I was already watching it a little and it was not a plane. We called everyone in the house out to see what they thought. One of the witnesses actually spotted the same type of object 2 nights before. Everything they thought of we ruled out, too quick but stationary to be a satellite, too many irregular movements to be a plane, even thought of the space station because on the odd night the space station catches that sun and lights up like a beacon sailing at steady speed across the sky that dims low and will light up brighter than anything else up there several times in it's pass across the sky. The thought of a comet even struck but was soon dismissed. No way was it a weather balloon. I have seen all of these and they didn't match what we were seeing.
At it's brightest you could tell it was not in the lower atmosphere but much higher and you could see it making small micro movements (as I call them) that could be made out in triangular patterns and figure eight patterns. What started off as the faint twinkle of alternating red/white light was now 2 distinguishable red and white lights encompassed by these brilliant blue lights that would illuminate in a clockwise sequence. The blue lights weren't constant though. It was almost as if it had moods and the lights would light up once or twice then take a break for a few seconds then flash a few quick ones. It continued to do this random flashing almost the whole time. It spent about 20 minutes in it's original spot then the following 20 minutes it made it's way to the Southwestern horizon using the micro movements. At it's position in the Southwestern sky it was too far away to see the blue lights. You could still see the micro movements faintly and barely make out the twinkle of the red/white lights. By that time everyone pretty much went to bed except for a couple of us. I thought the show was pretty much over when about 15 minutes in it's Southwestern position it made it's way back to the original spot in roughly the same 20 minute time frame. This time it was much, much brighter but didn't look any closer than the first time. It stayed there for another 20 - 30 minutes then with the brilliant flashing and amazing movements it worked it's way in a zig zag pattern straight down and disappeared below the tree line.
I would estimate that we watched it from 12:05am - 1:30am to 1:45am Can't be exact on the time frame because we were in awe of what we were witnessing. I am no expert in this matter but I do have my Commercial Pilot's License and one of the other witnesses has an extensive background on aircraft and we both agree that there is nothing in that sky that the public is aware of that can move like that or have such a complex lighting system. I have pictures too but not too sure how to upload them.

Date: August 3, 2007 Time: 12:05 a.m.
Location of Sighting: South to Southwest of Edson. Number of witnesses: 8 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Circular.
Full Description of event/sighting: It was just after midnight on Aug.3/07 when a group of 8 of us just finished watching a movie. My little sister and I went out on our Southeast facing deck to have a smoke. I looked to the South and saw this bright twinkling object. At first I didn't point it out to my sis because I thought it must be a plane, but it started just getting brighter in the same spot but moving irregular. At that point I showed her and asked her what she thought that was and her initial reaction was a plane and I told her I was already watching it a little and it was not a plane. We called everyone in the house out to see what they thought. One of the witnesses actually spotted the same type of object 2 nights before. Everything they thought of we ruled out, too quick but stationary to be a satellite, too many irregular movements to be a plane, even thought of the space station because on the odd night the space station catches that sun and lights up like a beacon sailing at steady speed across the sky that dims low and will light up brighter than anything else up there several times in it's pass across the sky. The thought of a comet even struck but was soon dismissed. No way was it a weather balloon. I have seen all of these and they didn't match what we were seeing.
At it's brightest you could tell it was not in the lower atmosphere but much higher and you could see it making small micro movements (as I call them) that could be made out in triangular patterns and figure eight patterns. What started off as the faint twinkle of alternating red/white light was now 2 distinguishable red and white lights encompassed by these brilliant blue lights that would illuminate in a clockwise sequence. The blue lights weren't constant though. It was almost as if it had moods and the lights would light up once or twice then take a break for a few seconds then flash a few quick ones. It continued to do this random flashing almost the whole time. It spent about 20 minutes in it's original spot then the following 20 minutes it made it's way to the Southwestern horizon using the micro movements. At it's position in the Southwestern sky it was too far away to see the blue lights. You could still see the micro movements faintly and barely make out the twinkle of the red/white lights. By that time everyone pretty much went to bed except for a couple of us. I thought the show was pretty much over when about 15 minutes in it's Southwestern position it made it's way back to the original spot in roughly the same 20 minute time frame. This time it was much, much brighter but didn't look any closer than the first time. It stayed there for another 20 - 30 minutes then with the brilliant flashing and amazing movements it worked it's way in a zig zag pattern straight down and disappeared below the tree line.

Port Coquitlam, British Columbia More Strange And Unidentified Light

Location of Sighting: Port Coquitlam. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 6 Shape of objects: Small moving lights.
Full Description of event/sighting: Hello, I do a daily check on the hbccufo site to see if anyone else in my area has reported what I've been seeing. I didn't want to report before now because although what I've seen is interesting to me, they are not what I would call close encounters or spectacular events, but it seems now that I'm not the only one noticing these lights. All summer long from June through August I setup outside once it's dark with my binoculars and watch the stars.
Guaranteed, every night I will eventually see what I would describe as amber (as opposed to blue-white or white) lights, that move at incredible speeds across the sky. I also see satellites (dimmer, slower and more of a white light). Sometimes they move is pairs, one following the other. They move in different directions from different areas of the sky, I've even see two moving in different directions cross paths. One time I was watching one move across the sky and thought to myself that it would be more interesting if the movement was more erratic or if they came closer or showed some sign that they were definitely ET, seemed that I hadn't finished that thought when the one I had my eye on started flitting all over the place. While still moving in the same general direction. Most nights I will see 5 or 6 moving in different directions. I haven't stayed out later than midnight but I imagine if I did I'd see alot more.
Note: I have also seen meteors, though they are quite distinguishable.
Another note: I've been noticing chemtrail spraying going on over Port Coquitlam all summer long as well. In fact today is one of the first days where there is actually a true-blue sky. Once I counted the number of planes that went over in an hour. Upwards of 40, some right on top of the other, or 1 to 2 minutes apart and on different flight path than "normal"commercial traffic (though it also seems commercial aircraft are leaving chemtrails). The trails always end up turning the sky gray and before long the entire sky is clouded over. Beginning to think the two are related.

Sherwood Park, Alberta A Triangle 2 Or 3 Football Fields In Size

Location of Sighting: Sherwood Park. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Triangle.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was walking outside to close my garage door on my acreage before bed and as I was walking back into the house. I noticed something strange and stationary in the night sky. It was a perfectly clear and calm evening with the stars and galaxies shining brighter than the nearby lights of Edmonton. I remembered at first there was a meteor shower that night and took more of a glance in the near vicinity. Within seconds I noticed a falling meteor and quickly followed it across the sky thinking "wow". When I looked back I noticed a triangle with 3 white lights on every point and the internal black body very close in the nearby distance. The strange object blocked out the stars behind it and looked like it was positioned/camouflaged within the stars. But if you looked closely you could really see it was much closer and about the distance of typical low lying clouds.
The triangular object seemed to be that of 2-3 football fields in size. I had a glimpse of the object for about 5 seconds and it seemed to morph or turn very quickly. All I could really see were the 3 white lights on its corners all move at the same time and that is what startled me. I fell to the ground feeling the need to take cover and when I did, I noticed another flash of that was resembling a bright meteor coming from the exact position of the triangle, and soon the strange object just disappeared. I then ran into the house to grab my girlfriend and when I came back outside all was gone. Crazy.

St. Lawrence, Ontario An White - Orange Solid Colored Light

Date: August 13, 2007 Time: Approx: 9:10 p.m.
Last night my two son's and I went out for a late night bike ride about 9:10 and we stopped on one of the bridges to take a break when I noticed coming over a small river that feeds into the St. Lawrence River. An white/orange solid color light it came from the south and was heading north when it completely disappeared right over the bridge, this object was low in the sky 8000 to 12,000 ft like a small plane. Later that evening I went out to let the dog out for a last relief that is when I spotted over the St. Lawrence river on the other side of town a low altitude light that was bright and multicolored flashing and moving erratically it was over towards Ontario, Ca.

Prescott, Ontario A Solid White Light

Similar Sightings, last Monday night a week ago I went out before 9:00 pm when out of the blue I had a solid white light similar at the same in height as last night, however the object came from the west to the east it passed over the house and I watched it go right over the City "burg" until it disappeared please note it was light enough out to see that there was no wings behind this light.

Prescott, Ontario A Solid Object On A Curved Trajectory

Date: August 11, 2007 Time: Approx: 9:45 p.m.
Saturday night the night of the meteor shower the family decided to stay out in the tent, what a night approx 9:35 I was sitting there as the family was getting the bed made in the tent when I saw any object over Prescott, Ontario slowly fall vertically from the sky until it went behind a house out of view. Right after that the family went to bed and was laying down for just a few minutes when coming from the St. Lawrence at low level again was the similar type solid object on a curved trajectory but towards the house, when out of no where comes 4 airplanes from different directions converging on the area where this object was and the funny thing where the object should have come into view it never did, and when I looked at one of the planes? in binoculars it had the weirdest lights underneath it there was 4 pairs of double white lights situated under it.

Represented above with the letter O's .Which needless to say the family observed with me and were a bit in aw over it. My wife said the next day on Sunday that she didn't sleep well in the tent because what was seen earlier that night.
The night before my wife and I set out on the porch and watched a lot of strange and many airplane type lights that a few of them was questionable by both my wife and I.

Maple Ridge, British Columbia A Huge Bright Light Moving In Circles

Date: From August 1 to the 15th, 2007 Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.
I'm really wondering if there is anyone else in the Maple Ridge, B.C. area has seen a huge bright light in the sky around 10:30 pm in the last couple weeks, (August 1 -15th, 2007). I live around the Maple Ridge Park area and around 10:00pm before bed we almost always sit in our hot tub. Last week sometime I had looked up and saw this huge bright light. As I told my partner to look up to see what it was it got smaller and disappeared. Last night between 10:30 - 11:00pm again looking up as we were in the hot tub. We saw again, a bright light moving back and forth and in big circles, it would appear quite bright at times and as it would move about, it would dim and disappear, and then we would see it in another direction. It was not a plane as we have many come over our place for the Vancouver Airport, and it was closer to us than a star. I've read the other sightings and seen the pictures, but are there others that have noticed this light in the sky the last few nights?

Date: From August 1 to the 15th, 2007 Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.
I'm really wondering if there is anyone else in the Maple Ridge, B.C. area has seen a huge bright light in the sky around 10:30 pm in the last couple weeks, (August 1 -15th, 2007). I live around the Maple Ridge Park area and around 10:00pm before bed we almost always sit in our hot tub. Last week sometime I had looked up and saw this huge bright light. Between Clinton And 70 Mile House, British Columbia - ISS Sighting

Location of Sighting: Between Clinton and 70 Mile House, BC Number of witnesses: 0 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Bright Light.
Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, This is in response to the sightings in Maple Ridge of a bright light. I went out with the dogs last night at approx 22.20 in rural area between Clinton and 70 Mile House BC and while looking at the sky noticed a bright light moving in the western sky to the south. My first thought was that it must be a plane but after watching it realized it was just one very bright light moving along at a great distance. It then arched to the east, the light dimmed and disappeared. It was not a meteor or plane for sure.
HBCC UFO Research Note: I email the witness back and asked if what they may have witnessed was the ISS flying by, I also added the information from the ISS website. The witness agreed that this is what was seen. Which was the ISS.

Kelowna, British Columbia A Fuzzy Looking Bright Object

Message: This one is sort of weird Brian. I had just gotten out of a movie, actually probably close to 15 minutes ago when I noticed on the horizon, just barely above the mountains (approximate location of the "battle") I see a very, very, very bright light. For some reason, my eyes are having a hard time focusing on the light, but at the same time, the street lights across the lake are clear as day. But as I said, the object was fuzzy as fuzzy could be and I could not adjust (if adjusting was needed) Anyways, five minutes of driving and I look to the same place, nothing. So I figure, ok I'll let Brian know. But then I turned to look at the road, and the same looking object is at the top of another mountain, this time alot closer and still blurry. I cleaned my glasses to fix the problem (if there was one) and I looked up and it's gone. Very weird.

Coe Hill, Ontario A Bright Light Above The Tree Line

Approach Direction: North. Departure Direction: Southeast. Witness Direction: North.
Description: Bright light above tree-line. I'm out walking the dog, some air-force low flying planes had gone by earlier. I watched it coming as I walk down the highway. I'm almost at my neighbours house, I knock on the door, two people come out. They see it, as it moves out of view, south-east. No flashing lights, no sound, too low to be satellite.
Color/Shape: Bright ball of light, in a hurry.
Height & Speed: One mile, about the speed of the army planes.
TV/Radio/Press: No.

Munster Ontario One Yellowy/White Light On Each Object

Date: August 19, 2007 Time: 9:10 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Munster Ontario, 40 minutes SE of Ottawa. Number of witnesses: 3 Number of objects: 3 Shape of objects: One yellowy/white light on each object. Couldn't see a shape because it was dark.
Full Description of event/sighting: Traveling north to south were 2 bright yellow lights, one behind the other, flying separately. After 2/3 of the sky complete, a third object, less bright came from the NE and got in line and followed the other 2.
Reasons as to why we don't believe it is a human craft:
- It took approximately 3 minutes for them to cover the whole sky line.
- They weren't very high.
- There was absolutely no noise (we live in the country, so there was no traffic noise to interfere).
- If a craft from this earth traveled across the sky within a 3 minute period, we should have been able to hear its engine, since a 3-minute crossing would mean the craft was fairly low.
- Having followed the path of many passenger planes above our house, their running lights change depending on the angle at which we are viewing the plane. The lights on these crafts never changed, even as they approached and departed. The crafts appeared to have uniform light on all sides.

Leamington Windsor Area Ontario A Large Glowing Orange Triangle

Approach Direction: From lake Erie - Towards Lake Erie - From Windsor. Departure Direction: From lake Erie - Towards Lake Erie. Witness Direction: Northeast.
Description: Me my wife and 2 kids have witnessed about 7 different accounts this month. My 7 year old daughter is into astronomy, so we look out every night. The first one my kids start screaming, (daddy look, a bat) When we look up over the house we see a large glowing triangle. Since then we have seen several more of the same.
Color/Shape: Large glowing orange triangle consisting of no lights. Same orange like the street light orange. We could see it was large by the outline, but even being so low it looked fuzzy and there was no engine noise.
Height & Speed: Most were very low like a local private plane, fast moving. Only one made zig zag movements - all were straight and disappeared quickly.

Sydney, Nova Scotia Bright Light

Location of Sighting: Sydney NS. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Bright light.
Full Description of event/sighting: From my home in Westmount I could see from my living room window a bright light just above the tree line to the east moving quickly left then right, much too low and too quick for a plane. Then it moved up and away and by the time I asked my wife to look, there was no sign of it. The space in which it moved left to right I'd say 300 yards in each direction was too far for it to be anything man made in that area above a seniors home just off of Kenwood Drive in Sydney.

Description: I saw the report of glowing orbs at night, realizing I had seen the same thing. Three glowing lights white,greeninsh. Moving together and slowing down the same and again speeding up.no noise just in uniform pattern on a clear night.
Color/Shape: White light balls, a bit greenish.
Height & Speed: Star like, about the height of a jet at 2000 ft I guess from south west to northeast.

Toronto, Ontario Two Real White Yellowish Light Globes

Approach Direction: North-West. Departure Direction: South-East. Witness Direction: Went right over top of us.
Description: Myself and 2 others were on a patio near Donlands and O'Connor in Toronto, Ontario, Canada when in the clear night sky from the north-west we saw 2 "real" white yellowish light globes or possibly circles traveling at a fast rate heading south-east towards lake Ontario. They appeared to be about 10,000 feet high and one followed behind the other in perfect symmetry and form approximately 1 mile or 10% of the sky behind the first object. It took them less than 2 minutes (maybe just one minute) to cross the entire sky pass over us and become unseeable far in to the south-east. The lights did not flicker or flash at all and looked the same from every angle. Possibly we heard an "engine" like noise coming from them but it may have come from other air craft in the area or some other source. They made no trails and appeared to be traveling faster than any civilian air craft. The sky was clear that night and the stars and civilian air craft were easily visible.
Color/Shape: White yellowish light globes.
Height & Speed: 10,000 feet, 2 minutes to cross the entire sky.

Description: Myself and 2 others were on a patio near Donlands and O'Connor in Toronto, Ontario, Canada when in the clear night sky from the north-west we saw 2 "real" white yellowish light globes or possibly circles traveling at a fast rate heading south-east towards lake Ontario. They appeared to be about 10,000 feet high and one followed behind the other in perfect symmetry and form approximately 1 mile or 10% of the sky behind the first object. It took them less than 2 minutes (maybe just one minute) to cross the entire sky pass over us and become unseeable far in to the south-east. The lights did not flicker or flash at all and looked the same from every angle. Possibly we heard an "engine" like noise coming from them but it may have come from other air craft in the area or some other source. They made no trails and appeared to be traveling faster than any civilian air craft. The sky was clear that night and the stars and civilian air craft were easily visible.
Color/Shape: White yellowish light globes.
Height & Speed: 10,000 feet, 2 minutes to cross the entire sky.

Collingwood, Ontario Two Large Creamy Colored White Lights

Approach Direction: Counter clock wise motion. Departure Direction: Two became one and then they disappeared. Witness Direction: North.
Description: About 9:30 at night we noticed two large creamy white lights moving in a clockwise motion, one appeared to be almost chasing the other one. After about a half an hour one caught up with the first one and they circled for just a few more times until they just disappeared. At first we thought they were search lights but there were no beams of light, just slightly elliptical shaped soft white lights.
Color/Shape: Soft white, slightly elliptical.
Height & Speed: They circled clockwise in about 5 second rotations. it lasted for about half an hour.

Novar, Ontario Two Lights Traveling Close To One Another

Approach Direction: West. Departure Direction: East. Witness Direction: Looking up.
Description: I went outside to take my dog for a pee and looked up at the stars as always when I saw and airplane with it's flashing lights fly overhead. Then I saw two lights traveling a fairly close distance from one another at the exact same rate of speed. I looked back at the plane and then back at the lights; the plane was moving about half the speed of the two lights. I called my wife and friend outside to view this. We stood there watching and tried to rationalize this, but to no avail. Suddenly the lights dimmed and vanished.
Color/Shape: steady white lights (no flashing).
Height & Speed: about the height an aircraft flies- twice as fast as the plane.
