Bright Orange Light In The Sky Over The Northeastern Tip Of New Brunswick Canada

I was at my cottage Saturday August 4, 2012 at the northeastern tip of New Brunswick Canada.

I saw an orange light in the sky sometime around midnight local time.
It was not flashing or blinking. Bright orange! It went from east to west, horizon to horizon in less than 2 minutes. I could not hear a sound from it. It seemed like it was at the height of a low flying plane.

I can hear planes at that height and this was completely silent. Again no flashing lights, no red, green, or white lights. It was just and orange ball in the sky. This thing was moving. Could be a booster rocket of some sort on reentry?

Low Flying Object With Pulsating Dull Light Seen Traveling Over Vancouver British Columbia

Time:  12:30 a.m.

Hi Brian, after 2 hours scanning the skies with my night vision monocular and not capturing any anomalies, I decided to pack it in watch a bit of TV and about 12:30 a.m. August 4th, 2012.

I went to my balcony and visually checked the skies once again and noticed a low flying object slowly cruising over the city, at first I thought it was a seagull reflecting the city lights which I see all the time, but then realized the object was large like the size of a Cessna or Beaver airplane.

Completely silent and why I know to judge the size at about 500 - 1000 feet, just earlier on the Harbour there were fireworks and I noticed a couple of planes circling the city.

This object was pulsating low light or it was the city light reflecting off its surface.

I quickly grabbed my binoculars and noticed the object to be oval in shape, not plane, no wings and moving from north to southwest directly over the city and over English Bay towards due west to Vancouver Island.

When the object faced me and moving away from the city lights, it dimmed and lost it completely. I grabbed my night vision and captured it slowly moving out to Vancouver Island. It was amazing and have no idea again what it is.

No plane as every plane that travels the skies around the city can be heard clearly and it had no wings. I don't think we have blimps and if so, why would it have no lights, etc.

Strange stuff happening Brian, to think all my life I have never experienced a UFO and I can almost guarantee if I go out on my balcony on the 21 st floor at night during the clear nights, I will see something very odd.

I also captured similar object 2 nights ago, but it was not reflecting any lights whatsoever with my night vision and it was double the size slowly traveling across Grouse and Cypress mountain, I could barely see it with night vision, so again what travels the night sky late at night or early in the morning of that size and silent.

I will be ready next time to record, stay tuned. I would really like to know if anyone else has seen similar objects on the same nights. Thanks again.

Possible Meteor In The Sky Over Burlington Ontario ?

I saw something fly quick in the sky around 9:00 p.m. on August 2, 2012 in Burlington near Burloak and Highway 5.

It was going west to east heading to Lake Ontario.

Thought it was a shooting star, but perhaps it wasn't.

UFO A Quarter Size The Moon With Wings Like A Bird Seen Flying Over Richmond British Columbia

Last night, August 5/12, around 11:30/11:45 p.m., I saw something that I thought at first was another shooting star.

I quickly realized, "it" was lit up like the moon (but smaller) and in the shape of a 1/4 moon with wings like a bird traveling from about northwest of us, (Richmond, B.C.) heading south, high in the sky, and then it kind of zig zagged and then disappeared just south of my friend and I. 

Minutes later my friend saw a quick, (how he described it) spot light that came from the same area that I saw this shiny object.

Orange Object Three Or Four Times Larger Than The Moon Over Richmond British Columbia

I live in Richmond, B.C. and thought I would report that on August 4, 2012, at 11:30 p.m., an object in the sky to the north very low, just above the horizon about three or four times as big as the moon and it was orange.

I thought it was the moon, so I didn't think anything of it, but soon after I saw the full moon way higher to the east. So I went to where I could see the other object, but it was gone.

It was so weird I hope someone else saw that too.

4 Orange Colored Balls Of Light Flew Over Oakville Ontario (Picture)

Just now my wife and I saw 4 orange balls/globes fly over our house from east to west.

They were moving only slightly faster than a plane, one very high and 3 lower in the sky.

They looked almost as they had a parachute dragging dragging behind them.

We are in Oakville near Third and Uppermiddle. I have a picture and 2 videos.

Unknown Objects/Lights In The Sky Over North East Oshawa Ontario

Hi Brian, I came across your website in search of answers for what my family and I seen tonight. At about 10:00 p.m. on August 5th in North East Oshawa, Ontario.

We seen a dozen plus unusual objects in the sky that appeared to be doing acrobat type movements. That last for about 5 minutes and then we seen about 5-6 of them very quickly shoot upwards and then vanish.

After about 10 minutes of seeing nothing, we started to see unusual objects coming from North Oshawa and some traveling "down" from the sky and they met up at about the same spot as they did before and did another "acrobat show" and then the lights just faded and we seen nothing.

The objects brightness would change and flash. We seen white, green and red lighting on the unusual objects. A friend of mine seen unusual objects in Port Perry, Ontario traveling south. We think they are the same thing. It was an incredible sight to see!

Red Object Flew Over Edmonton Alberta

Hey, I'm not a paranormal type of guy, but won't throw out the possibility of UFOs. Anyway, I just Googled "red object over Edmonton" and your blog came up.

I wanted to tell you that I also just about 15 minutes ago sighted a red round type object in the sky just north of the airport. I live just off 50th street and Elerslie.

The object moved slowly away from my position, but jotted off to the right a few times (not like  typical aircraft) at the same time, there was an actual aircraft flying what looked like towards the object.

It was moving away from me at a slower speed, but jotted off to the side a few times unlike any aircraft. It was like a burning red color.

5 Bright Red Lights Seen From North Of Grand Bend Ontario Over Lake Huron

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We saw a definite arc formation of 5 bright reddish lights in a curve shaped moving in a definite formation together. They then separated from each other all in different directions and then they literally disappeared, or at least turned off their lights.

Then, a single, little bit brighter reddish orange light appeared, it looked like a jet plane maybe coming over the lake towards us. But is was not.

It got closer and then stopped and was stationary and then it started going away and then it turned of its lights and disappeared like hitting a light switch immediately and it just disappeared into thin air like the members of the original formation did.

Canadian UFO Sighting Reports From January 1, 2012 to July 31, 2012

A Vike Factor Note: I was sitting around and wondering what "The Vike Factor - Brian Vike" received so far in the way of Canadian sighting reports.

I figured there were a good number of reports that did come in, but I just had no idea of how may I received.

So I did a quick count and I maybe off by a few one way or another, so the count so far from January 1, 2012 to July 31, 2012 is pretty accurate.

Here is a quick break down and total number of sighting reports for each province.

Alberta - 47 reports.
British Columbia - 132 reports.
Newfoundland - 3 reports.
New Brunswick - 10 reports.
Nova Scotia - 10 reports.
Ontario - 258 reports.
Quebec - 39 reports.
Saskatchewan 8 reports.

Total number of Canadian sighting reports to date: 507 reports.

We still have five more months left for 2012, so it should be interesting to see the final count that The Vike Factor has received.

The Vike Factor also receives sighting reports from all around the world, so with the Canadian sightings put into all of the reports I have received to date, there is a total of sighting reports received: 2,035.

Ball Of Orange/Red Light Seen In The Sky Over Woodstock Ontario

Hi there, I had a sighting of a UFO tonight over our townhouse in Woodstock, Ontario. I thought I would Google search just to see if any sightings have been made recently and saw your posting of the lantern shaped UFO and that is exactly what we saw. 

Tonight at about 11:30 p.m. There was a single lantern looking ball orange and red in colour that traveled over our townhouse making no sound what so ever. There were four of us who watched it go by.

It wasn't that high up, probably at the height of a small plane would travel. (actually there was a plane going by near it at the time.) There were no flashing lights like a plane and made no sound at all, but it had a steady glowing flicker, like the whole ball was glowing.

It traveled over us and in about 1 minute and started getting smaller and smaller and then blinked out, like it shrunk. Then it came back as a pin prick of light, blinked out again, blinked one more time and then gone.  

Just thought I would pass along our sighting to back up this one. I don't know if it was a UFO or not as I have never had a sighting before, but its the weirdest thing I have seen flying at night.

It was not a plane or a helicopter that I know cause there were no sound, and it just shrunk out of sight in a minute. Hope this helps.

15 White And Orange Lights Spotted Flying Over Oakville Ontario (Chinese Lanterns)

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was riding my bike, when I looked into the northern sky over Oakville, Ontario and saw clear as day several objects in the sky (15 in total)

They were white and orange moving in almost perfect unison west to east. i have some really good footage with my I-Phone, but I am not comfortable sharing right now better safe than sorry.

I was wondering if I was imagining things, so I asked people at gas station to look with me and they can be heard clearly puzzled as I am (a little to much profanity for the net so must clean it up if I'm to share, just really stunned by what I saw.

Elongated White Disk Shaped UFO Seen Flying Over North Hill Brandon Manitoba

Hi Brian, I am sending in a report of a UFO that we seen by 3 people, two of them being good friends of mine.

I do not really know how one would categorize the shape. I will leave that up to you do decide.

The sighting happened last night and the report was taken from two of the witnesses less than 24 hours after the sighting.

Brandon, Manitoba

The location is the North Hill area of Brandon. Three friends had sat for dinner and were relaxing outside during early evening. It was 8:30 p.m. There was still much daylight.

The 3 witnesses noticed immediately a white craft that was traveling very fast from the east to the west. It appeared to the south of the witnesses location. It looked strange and out of place in the sky.

This report is combined by two of the witnesses who's reports I gathered separate, but both were were all together accurate enough with each other to combine.

The craft was described by one witness as they were seeing it. "It looks like a blimp".

According to a 2nd witness, the craft appeared long but stubby. The 3rd witness stated that the UFO appeared white. "It's color was like pearl, the way it appeared in the sky".

The UFO was traveling at a height of approximately 35,000 feet. It was moving much faster than a jet. According to two of the witnesses, the craft appeared to be moving at about 4 times the speed of a jet. "It was very very fast"

The craft was estimated by two witnesses as being at least 150 feet long and 50 feet wide. The whole sighting lasted maybe 20 seconds and ended when the UFO continued west and into/above the clouds in the western part of the sky.

There were no wings, no contrails, no markings.

When I was interviewing one of the witnesses at the location, a military fighter jet was passing. I asked to compare that to what was seen by them, the evening before.

According to one of the witnesses, who has been around military and military aircraft for many years, said the craft was definitely not a military jet and was more fast.

I have included a diagram made from a drawing that represents what was witnessed by the three people that evening.

Wing Shaped Craft Spotted In The Sky Over North Surrey British Columbia

Hi Brian, was watching the sky last night 29/07/12 from about 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. approximately 10:15 I heard what sounded like a small plane and quickly spotted what appeared to be small white flashing wing tip lights, also had one large red light.

It didn't seem right, so I took a look through my binoculars. The apparent wing showed against the night sky, but I could not see any fuselage, tail or nose section and the large red light was located right next to the left white light.

Additional Information:
Hi Brian, I live (removed) ave. N. Surrey object passed almost directly overhead.

Also saw weird commercial jet apparently having just left YVR had huge yellow/white light at each end of the tail wing, not the little blinking kind.

Approximately 20 feet forward had a similar set of lights on each side of the fuselage, smaller single white light on nose.

Object was about the height and speed of a small plane.

Possible Crescent Shaped UFO Flew Over Peachland British Columbia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Woke early and decided to go outside and catch some soft cool breeze.

The sky was bluish grey and only bright planets were clearly visible. I looked in a western direction and a bright crescent shaped UFO glided quieting across the sky flying rather low.

No sound. I followed it as it moved to the east until I lost sight of it. I am really not sure if the actual shape was crescent. It could of been light reflecting that distorted the shape.

It has been pretty quite here for sightings, but my sister, husband and friends in Penticton saw something very remarkable the other night. She took a great picture from her I-Phone. Thanks Brian.
