Hi, I was watching the Oilers game and noticed an orange to red ball of light with an bright white trail like a flare, but very large.

 

It was falling at a 45 degree angle falling from east to west and appearing east of Edmonton.

Large Green Balls Falls Out Of The Sky Between Edson And Edmonton Alberta

Around 8 o'clock last night I was driving to Edmonton from Edson, Alberta and saw a green ball fall out of the sky.

 

It was off in the horizon but looked quite large. Only lasted maybe a second. Was really strange.

Bright Flash Orange Object And Then Purple Circular UFO Over Edmonton Alberta

Hello, I am emailing you because of the posts about the sightings last night. I seen it too. I am a 22 year old single mom, was just going to catch the number 12 bus to Northgate last-night on 132 Ave, and 119 Street.

 

When I got to my bus spot, I looked up for whatever reason and saw this white flash than what appeared to be something falling (maybe on fire because it was orange)

 

I was in shock, I looked to the left and saw a purple circular like object flying around (it was not a plane or helicopter as the movement was impossible for one our planes to do), for about 30 seconds before it disappeared over the trees and houses.

 

After that a couple helicopters flew around the area I saw it in. I have never been one interested in this area, aliens, UFOs, etc., actually I’m a catholic and I’m having a hard time explaining this through my faith.

 

When my bus arrived, my bus driver was freaking out as well asking me if I had seen anything strange in the sky.

 

He saw the white flash and the object falling from the sky as well. Very scary. Just thought I would write you as I came across your website, because I am totally freaked out.

But thanks, I do not know what you will do with this information, but just thought i would put my sighting in there.

4 Lights Rotating In A Circle – Large Football Field Sized UFO Over Cape Forchu Yarmouth County Nova Scotia

 

Fall of September or October 2011

Time:  10:00 p.m.

 

Number of witnesses: 1 (I called my Mother out, but she couldn't see it).

Number of Objects: 1 or maybe 4

Shape of Objects: 4 lights in a rectangular shape, in between the lights the stars were absent, giving the impression that it was one object, very large.

 

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was 16 or 17 at the time and was going to see my sister, who was babysitting up the road. We lived in a rural area and could see the stars. As always, I looked up at the stars when I got in the driveway.

 

I soon realized the a portion of the stars were absent, and then realized that there were "four stars" rotating in a circle and that it was a very large object, as large as a football field.

 

I called my mother out to look at it, but she couldn't see what I was showing her. She asked me if I was still going to see my sister, and I told her I wasn't sure, as I was scared. I feel they could read my mind because the split second I made the decision to go, the craft moved over the road.

 

I went up the road and the craft moved with me up the road, slightly ahead, like it was escorting me. When I got almost, one house away, to were I was going, the craft moved over the house I was going to and circled there until I went in.

 

I got my sister to come see it, but when we came outside, it was gone. I really feel it could read my mind and was walking with me.

Green Lights Flying Over Edmonton Alberta

HI there! My boyfriend just called me from work (he works for CN Rail Edmonton) last night he said he saw green lights and what seemed to have light up the clouds from behind.

 

Today on the radios everyone was talking about it, as others saw this too or saw the lights!

 

They think it is a meteor shower that might have landed in Saskatchewan, but aren’t sure! I wish I could have seen it! He’s a huge skeptic, but I’m not.

Silent Bright Orange Light Flew Over Edmonton Alberta

I just saw the same thing, orange light flying southbound over the Groat Road area of the city as I was walking along 107 avenue. It appeared to head south to the city limits and then tracked east about a kilometer before vanishing at 18:33.

Multi Colored Light Filmed Over Edmonton Alberta (Video Footage)

Large Red Orange Light Over Stratford Ontario

Hi Brian, I saw something just this past Saturday night. It was around 10:00 p.m. and I was out walking our dog. I happened to look up and saw this big orange reddish light.

 

It made no sound. It seemed to glide along to the north. Then gradually turned east and then went higher and higher until it disappeared. It was around the Borden Street and Municipal golf course.

 

I couldn’t see a shape just the light and no noise.

Oblong Shaped Object With Blue Purple Changing To Green Red To Purple Again Over Edmonton Alberta

February 21, 2012, travelling off of 127th and turning left unto 137th Ave, I saw a oblong shape that at first had a central bright light at the front with three lights in back.

 

The lights were blue to purple changing, green to blue, and red to purple.

 

As I witnessed it driving up to the red light, I asked my teen daughter and the driver what I was witnessing to my right (as I pointed to the sky, as my finger touched the passenger side window. 

 

I began to tell them what I saw and said I know it wasn't a helicopter as they do not hover like what I was seeing, nor do they have the shape and lights as I described.

 

I also said it was not an airplane either as they don’t fly that close to the city and hover about a spot as such. Then the central light went out and the three other lights dimmed and formed more of a triangular red light pattern that interchange to make the object appear to spin as it hovered. 

 

That was about 7:45 p.m.

Red Amber Colored Object With Lime Green Flame Seen Over Edmonton Alberta

Time:  Approx: 8:37 p.m. - 8:40 p.m.

 

Later in the night, after dropping teen off of 137 th Ave, Boston Pizza by 121 St., at about 8:37 p.m. - 8:40 p.m. I drove and I travelled down 153 Ave and 103 to 104 St., We witnessed in the sky a falling object that seemed to manifest from out of nowhere.

 

It was a red, amber forefront light with green light/flame that if we held our hand out to the sky with a Toonie in our hand, that was the diameter of what we witnessed 'fall or crash to the earth' like it was held down and not arching or falling like a fire work.

 

It had a straight path. It was a part of a circular object on 2/3 of the object. It appeared in the sky and disappeared as it headed southeast, towards the river valley to past Rundle area, so we guestimate.

 

We hope others can testify to this account as we know it was something spectacular to see. An awe inspiring event as it was definitely not a meteor. Thanks.

Bright White Streaking Object Breaks Up Over Elk Island Park Alberta (Meteor)

At approximately 8:30 on the evening of February 21, 2012, travelling east on Hwy 16 just minutes west of Elk Island Park we saw a bright white streak running north to south and low in the sky relative to our position only 1-2 seconds long. 

 

Just above our horizon (the road does dip and rise in that area) it then appeared to break up into a very short shower of sparks just before it disappeared. 

 

When we got home my daughter-in-law, who was travelling in another vehicle 5-10 seconds behind us described a virtually identical sighting.

Hundreds Of Lights Viewed Traveling Over Port Moody/Anmore British Columbia (Picture)

Hi Brian, approximately 8:56 p.m. - 9:20 p.m. (I sent my photo to a friend at 8:58 p.m. on my phone, but had watched for a few minutes prior)

 

I saw the same thing as reported here (below) by another individual. I too, was on Clarke Drive facing north over the inlet in Port Moody.  

 

I managed to grab two photos, but didn't think to take video as I was so distracted by what I saw. 

 

At first, I thought perhaps there was a large fire with burning debris blowing off and moving from an east to west direction over Port Moody/Anmore. I checked the news and saw nothing so I went to observe the event once again. 

 

As I observed, I noticed these bright lights were moving with a mechanical purpose (it was not a fire or debris and it didn't seem possible to be fireworks or any such thing). The orbs were distributed evenly as they moved from east to west.

 

It appeared they had a set path and moved with an intended direction. Sometimes they appeared as a white light (like a star) and they would also change colours (red and blue). 

 

The objects moved east to west in a singular line and then would spread out in a group formation.  Some lights moved straight up while others would move up and then down, sometimes coming together (in a very purposeful and careful way) and then moving apart.

 

As they moved upwards, only one bright light would disappear at a time. 

 

This lasted 25 minutes or so. As the reporter indicates, there were hundreds over this time. 

 

I am glad to know I was not the only one to see these and get some photos. If you would like photos, I can send these. They are only iPhone photos, but they capture some of these objects. 

 

 I would be curious to know if you have had further reports. As the display lasted for so long, I cannot imagine that others did not see these same objects on Saturday night.

Bright Blue/White Flash From An Object Over Seen Biggar Saskatchewan

Hi Brian, a friend from Biggar, Saskatchewan I was heading home north of Biggar and at 9:40 p.m. seen the super bright blue white flash, but noticed the fast blinking lights at true south splitting the horizon evenly east and west until they disappeared.

 

Looked like aircraft lights, but very, very fast and went evenly across the horizon simultaneously until they disappeared.

Bright White Light Spotted Over Calgary Alberta

Time:  Evening.

 

Hey Brian, I live in Calgary, Alberta Canada and just saw about 2 minutes ago a bright light traveling at an abnormal velocity fall from the sky towards the horizon. I have seen many a meteor shower and such but have never seen anything quite like this.

 

It was a very large object and I can’t really guess its elevation, but the clouds it was travelling were glowing a green tinge and the object itself was clearly a white light, very bright object. 

 

I Googled to see if anyone else in my area has seen this, but could find nothing as time relating to your area. Thanks.

Numerous UFO Sightings Taking Place Over Big Hawk Lake North Of Minden Ontario

 

I witnessed on several occasions brilliant balls of light in the night sky over Big Hawk Lake north of Minden in the late 90's. One time a friend and I saw a solid white light moving then stopping, moving then stopping all the way across the lake. 

 

It was barely above the tree tops. A month later several of us witnessed a similar light making sharp angle turns high in the sky before shooting off in a southern direction.

Other cottagers on the lake have also reported similar sightings including an elderly couple I have known for years who woke up to bright white light filling their cottage bedroom. They went to the window and watched a ball of white light move through the trees and out over the lake.

 

Another sighting was told to me by my neighbor who was up alone late in the year and he witnessed a bright white light zigzagging across the lake. Several moments later he told me that 2 low flying fighter jets possibly CF-18's came roaring over his cottage just above the treetops and they headed in the direction the light had gone.

I would love to hear of any other similar reports in the Minden area as it would appear these sightings are not isolated incidents.
