HBCC UFO Research Note: The below letter and diagram was the start of one of British Columbia's major UFO events which I was lucky to be a part of. Over this one sighting, I spoke to on the telephone roughly 200 eyewitnesses to parts of the sighting. The telephone never stopped ringing after the information about the sighting hit the newspaper. UFO sightings for some unknown reason started around July 25, 2003 and ran straight through to the second week in August then it just died right off. But this event which you will read part of in a letter, was a huge UFO event.

Strathcona Park Ottawa, Ontario Huge UFO (12 Page Letter And Diagrams)

A eyewitness wrote a 12 page letter with 2 diagrams over what the lady observed over Strathcona Park Ottawa, Ontario . A huge craft, with windows sat over top of the water as she watched, she did not feel any bad feelings from the object, but was extremely taken back of that evenings UFO event. Al;so she spoke to a male friend later on after the sighting, and it sounds like he to was witness to possible the same craft, as described in this letter.

Sayward, British Columbia Sighting By Many (Letter)

On October 3, 2002 I had a telephone call from a lady who resides in Sayward, British Columbia which is located on the north eastern shore of Vancouver Island. It has about 1500 inhabitants and is approximately two hours south of Port Hardy, one hour north of Campbell River and four hours north of the provincial capital, Victoria.
She had read an article which I had written and which had been published in the North Island Gazette (in a letter to the editor) where I had asked residents to report any strange lights they may have seen recently in the area and which I could investigate.
I had heard from a colleague who informed me that a number of witnesses had reported seeing a large fireball over Sayward, B.C. on the evening of July 29, 2002.

Willow Point, Campbell River, B.C. Sightings And Strange Experiences

Date: October 8, 2007 Time: 4:28a.m. ? - 5:00 a.m.?
Location of Sighting: Behind my house, Willow Point, Campbell River. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Unknown - Brilliant white light obscured shape, maybe round?
Full Description of event/sighting: Went out for a smoke in my backyard, partially under the balcony, at 4:28 a.m.. Was just over half way through my smoke (machine handmade), when the sky went from dark to like it is when there's a full moon. Looked up, and there was a large brilliant - brighter than the moon- object in the sky, it zoomed up, getting dimmer as it rose, then disappeared. The light obscured its shape. It looked pretty close to the ground - 500ft, 1000ft? - not sure, and it scared the hell out of me - ever since we saw the 150 footer up close I've been scared of them, wasn't scared around them before that. I ducked under the balcony, reasoned that if they wanted to do anything to me hiding there wouldn't help, went out from under the deck, and looked up. Didn't see anything, whatever it was, it was gone. Finished my smoke, went inside, went to the front of the house, went out in the front yard/area, looked, nothing. Went back inside quick. I was still freaking scared, checked the time, it was 5:01:30 a.m.. I've been seeing UFOs for years, all different kinds of them, from far away to up close, both alone, with family, and with friends, first started in Courtenay in 96 or 97.
Seen as many as 23 at a time in the sky. My younger daughter has seen a alien looking into her room, peering around the corner of the door from the hallway, she hid under the bedcovers until she thought it was gone. We've had missing time before, strange marks on our bodies, florescent markings and stains seen under UV light that don't wash off, and I've had a visible implant in my left cheekbone and two implants, at different times, came out of my mouth. Threw away the first one, then thought, "What the hell did I do that for?", contained impulse to throw away second one (came out of roof of mouth), showed it to my younger daughter, as it was sitting on my finger tip, it seemingly jerked (only way to explain it), it fell to the floor, and for the life of us we couldn't find it, and we searched on hands and knees, section by section.
After I saw the UFO this morning I went to bed and had two dreams, and a dream? in-between. Full recall is fuzzy now, should have written them down, this is what I can remember clearly. First one was a sex type dream (did not view the sex in my dream) There where several groups of people (men?), I was a "breeder"- that was the impression, anyway. I was to have sex with only certain members of a certain group. As I said before, did not view any sex. Then a really weird dream where my eyes where being analyzed. I had to track movement while "things" where staring in my eyes without moving my head. Whomever they were impressed with the outcome of my eye movements. Like I said, strange. Second dream was similar to the first, except my daughter woke me up near the end of it, so it couldn't have been anything nefarious.
Anyways, that's my report. Way more in it about the other stuff than what I saw this morning, so sorry about that. There is more I could talk about and elaborate on, but I'm rambling, and other people want to use this computer. Threw away the first one, then thought, "What the hell did I do that for?", contained impulse to throw away second one (came out of roof of mouth), showed it to my younger daughter, as it was sitting on my finger tip, it seemingly jerked (only way to explain it), it fell to the floor, and for the life of us we couldn't find it, and we searched on hands and knees, section by section.
After I saw the UFO this morning I went to bed and had two dreams, and a dream? in-between. Full recall is fuzzy now, should have written them down, this is what I can remember clearly. First one was a sex type dream (did not view the sex in my dream) There where several groups of people (men?), I was a "breeder"- that was the impression, anyway. I was to have sex with only certain members of a certain group. As I said before, did not view any sex. Then a really weird dream where my eyes where being analyzed. I had to track movement while "things" where staring in my eyes without moving my head. Whomever they were impressed with the outcome of my eye movements. Like I said, strange. Second dream was similar to the first, except my daughter woke me up near the end of it, so it couldn't have been anything nefarious.
Anyways, that's my report. Way more in it about the other stuff than what I saw this morning, so sorry about that. There is more I could talk about and elaborate on, but I'm rambling, and other people want to use this computer. If you want to email me you can and I'll report anything else I see or recall, if you are interested in actual experiences/effects beyond sightings.

I live in Oshawa, Ontario. The first occurrence happened on October 5, 2007 while I was sitting in my chemistry class. I was staring out the window looking out at what I thought was a plane to the west over Whitby. Suddenly all I saw was a bright green flash and it was gone. Puzzled I went to the window to double check and nothing was there.

Date: October 8, 2007 Time: Approx: 7:30 p.m.
The night of October 8, 2007, me and my little brother were fishing down at Lake Ontario South Oshawa. As we began walking home it was about 730 and it was just getting dark. There was a single cloud over the lake. It then began to give off a kind of orange glow. About 30 minutes later we were crossing over the 401 when I noticed a bright yellow orb directly above us. When I pointed it out to my brother, we watched it as it faded away within seconds. There wasn't a cloud in the sky. A few minutes after that we witnessed a single orb pass by no flashing lights or anything. It then turned on a dime and it began to go the other way. I hope to witness many more.

HBCC UFO Research Note: The Terrace Standard Newspaper ran an article on me, Brian Vike - Director of HBCC UFO Research and a witness had read the article and file their sighting report of a triangular craft, and the RCMP later on told the witness that they did receive other calls on this sighting.

Donations To HBCC UFO Research
Well gang I was hoping not to ever go this route, in asking for donations to help keep HBCC UFO Research operating. But on a pension it is becoming more expensive and difficult for everything I do here at HBCC UFO Research and taking more of a bite out of the pension.
If you would care to lend a hand it would be greatly appreciated. I have placed a donation button on another page, external link. I want everyone to know this is an old site I use to operate when I stated up HBCC UFO Research years ago. I had to use this method as I have a problem adding an html code to my main website.
Also I should add, I don't know of anyone in the UFO field who makes any funds out of what they enjoy doing, all expenses that myself and others in the UFO field come straight out of our own pockets. I guess one has to have a passion for the topic, but it does get expensive for everything one does.

Dogs Senses The Presence Of A Ghost

Hi Brian, You asked for ghost stories so here come some more! Actually this is about three different dogs and three different ghosts.
We all know that animals sense things that we humans aren't consciously aware of. That is why when a dog sees a ghost you really know something strange is there!
The first story is about my German Shepherd/wolf cross. In Victoria where I live there are many locations known to have resident ghosts. A popular location for ghost hunting is the Oak Bay Golf Course, isolated, quiet and looking out over the ocean. One night my mother and I decided on a whim to leave the house about 11 P.M. and go look for the ghost. We took my dog with us. After an hour of sitting in the car and staring out over the golf course we had seen nothing at all resembling a ghost. We decided to give it another 10 minutes then go home. I then noticed a white haze forming across the greens and near some bushes on the edge of the ocean. So did my mom. We both acknowledged that what we were looking at could be normal fog or even our active imaginations. Then suddenly from the back seat my dog began a low growl. I turned and looked at him. He was on his feet (he'd been asleep up until then) hackles up and staring at exactly the spot we'd been looking at. The white haze was getting thicker and the dog was getting more agitated. Mom and I looked at each other, looked at the dog and then looked at the white fog slowly becoming more solid. We left!
The second dog story took place in Yaletown in Vancouver. My daughter lived in a seventh floor condo with her Border Collie. She had a corner condo and her windows looked down four floors to a storage locker building roof across the alley and along the alley below. Late one night she awoke to the sound of her dog barking non- stop in the living room. This was very unusual. Her dog seldom barked and had never barked indoors. The alley below was often very busy as it was a convenient shortcut. She had heard parties, fights and gun shots but it had never bothered the dog. Concerned she got up and found her dog staring at the window overlooking the alley. She would not stop barking until my daughter got quite firm with her. She then continued to quietly whine. Of course my daughter looked out the window to what was disturbing her dog. She opened the window so she could see the full length of the alley. Right away she heard two women talking. She also very clearly heard their footsteps. The only problem was there was no one there. For security purposes that alley was very brightly lit and there were no alcoves or doorways that a person could stand in. As she listened and watched she heard them walking towards her from the far end of the alley, pass right under her window and then continue to the end of the alley and around the corner. Although she could hear them very clearly talking and laughing and their foot steps, which sounded like they were walking on wet pavement (it was dry), there was no one in sight. The moment they "appeared" to walk around the corner the sounds stopped and the dog stopped fussing and curled up and went to sleep. The dog never again barked in the condo and my daughter never again heard the sounds of invisible people.
My last dog story took place near a large city in mid Canada. I am purposely vague about locations since the man who told me this story is reluctant to talk about it and I don't want to say anything that might identify him. I know him very well and have absolutely no reason to doubt his story. It happened several years ago. For reasons that aren't important to the story he, his wife and three dogs were staying in a very large but empty campground for a couple of months. Their tent was quite far from the others and on the edge of a large field. One evening the dogs were restless and not interested in eating or playing. When my friends went to bed the dogs, who were tied right outside the tent, had a hard time settling. Shortly after midnight the dogs started to whine and growl and the man got up to see what was going on.
He noticed the dogs were looking out across the empty field so he looked that way as well. The sky was clear and there was a bright moon shining. At the far edge of the field he saw a woman slowly walking towards them. She was easy to see in her long white dress. She was walking slowly but definitely in their direction and the dogs were jumping and spinning in their agitation. The man's first thought and concern was that it was another camper who was sleep walking. As she was obviously heading directly towards their tent he wanted to intercept her before she got tangled with the dogs. He walked a little way towards her then noticed something very strange. The field was not flat. It had bumps and hollows but she was floating across all the hollows. She was just above the ground. By now the dogs had given up barking and were huddled together whimpering. The man just stared, then realized the woman would be passing in front of the car. He waited until she was directly in front then reached in the open window and turned the headlights on.
She instantly disappeared, the dogs sighed and went to sleep. He looked around, went back to bed but stayed awake. His wife slept through the whole event was quite annoyed the next morning to find out what she had missed. The lady in white never returned and the dogs never had another bad night.

Over St. Catherines, Ontario A Trio Of Orange Pulsing Lights (Flares)

Date: October 10, 2007 Time: 3:30 - 5:20 a.m.
Location of Sighting: Over St. Catherine's. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 3 Shape of objects: N/A.
Full Description of event/sighting: I got up with the dog and went out on the balcony. I am looking at the sky because you can actually see some stars. I begin to look towards the area of St. Catherines and I see a bright orange light in the sky. At first I figure it is a plane that is coming towards Toronto. I look at it more and realize it is very low to be coming to Toronto at 3:30 in the morning. Where it was positioned there are two buildings that are very close to it. I grab the binoculars which are right next to me. I peer through them to notice the object is pulsing, but it is too far to make anything out. Then above it and to the left a bit a second light appears. I gasped and thought to myself 'am I seeing what I think I am' then suddenly a third one appears below the other two. There are now a trio of orange pulsing lights in the distance. The second light shut off, but you could see the shadow of the object move away. It moved up and to the right. I almost dropped the binoculars.
I pulled them back up to see the light go away on the last one to light up flicker off. Reminder there are buildings in my sights still and I can see that the lights are not moving at all. The first object is still lit up but it finally moves slightly to the left (east) and shuts off its lights. I can see a shadow of it as I follow it moving back to the west. It turned its lights back on again (I was following it exactly) It shut its lights off again and lifted up into the dark. 10 seconds later I see a plane fly through the area.
I finally grabbed my camera and got the best footage I could.

Smiths Falls, Ontario White Orbs Zig Zagging

Date: Several Sept/Oct. 2007. Time: Late in the evening.
Location of Sighting: Smiths Falls, Ontario, Canada, my back yard. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 2 and 3 Shape of objects: White Orbs.
Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, I have noticed people referencing this "white orb", some times, 1, some times 2 at a time, and at times 3. Since I've come to your site, I have been paying alot more attention to the sky and I live on 40-some acres of space so the sky is huge, if you follow my meaning. I live in an A-frame, so all of my viewing was done from a balcony off the upper loft, above the tree lines.
On several occasions during September and so far this October/07 I have seen such orbs. At first I thought they were satellites, but satellites don't zig-zag, or follow each other traveling in the same directions, satellites do not move with warp speed and disappear. These orbs are just white lights, they don't have any flashing lights, they don't have any colored lights, but they are in the sky more often than not and make no sound that I can hear. Quite a few planes and helicopters travel over us, on the way to the Ottawa or Montreal Airports or Ottawa hospitals, I recognize all of these types of flyers, but I'm at a loss as to what these white orbs, or globes I've see, actually are.
Sometimes I have seen what people term as a 'shooting star' but I have seen those too at times in my life, but I have witnessed a so-called shooting star that stopped abruptly and was actually one of the above mentioned white orbs. It will stay stationary until another orb is in the vicinity and then they will all disappear, vanish, out of site. I have checked for cloud coverage on these night sightings and have known that the sky was clear. Thanks.

Well gang I was hoping not to ever go this route, in asking for donations to help keep HBCC UFO Research operating. But on a pension it is becoming more expensive and difficult for everything I do here at HBCC UFO Research and taking more of a bite out of the pension.

I want everyone to know this is an old site I use to operate when I stated up HBCC UFO Research years ago. I had to use this method as I have a problem adding an html code to my main website.

Referring To The St. Catharines Ontario Orange Lights Sighting

There is an explanation for the event reported of October 10/07 regarding the orange lights observed over St. Catharines Ontario. The previous day, the Coast Guard received a MAYDAY call from a pleasure craft located somewhere between 50 Point marina and Grimsby Marina on the western end of Lake Ontario. This area is approximately 10 nautical miles from St. Catharines. A rescue aircraft was dispatched from CFB Trenton and, over the period of some 24 hours, searched the area thoroughly. It was reported that some 70 flares were dropped during the nightime hours and could be observed from miles away. These flares descend via parachute and can stay aloft for several minutes at a time. This I believe, was what the reporter saw when he observed the orange lights that night.
I thought I would provide this clarification in the event that further investigation was being considered. Regards.

Oyster River Black Creek, Vancouver Island B.C. Saucer Shaped Hovering

Full Description of event/sighting: I will get the people involved to put their stories on here. One is a friend who has seen the same flying object 3 times in the last month. The last is a friend of my son's. I just asked him tonight about his sighting.
He saw the same saucer shaped object on the same night as my other friend, Wednesday of this week or there abouts in Black Creek just north of the Merville store. He was being driven home by his boss and they pulled over off the highway in a Hummer vehicle (thinking they were safe) and watched the craft hovering over a neighbor's property. He said it was saucer shaped and had revolving lights that emitted an orange glow. It then flew in a zig zag pattern and took off toward the ocean.
My other friend was telling me of the same craft that very night (after I dropped my son off at the friend's house). He said the same thing..orange light and a glowing saucer. He told me he was driving south when all of a sudden the lights of the saucer came on. He said he went "oh no, not again" rolled up his windows and continued driving toward home. He said he was very scared.
Altogether he has seen it twice this past week in the same locale between Oyster River and Black Creek, but his sightings were over the ocean. A previous sighting about a month ago was over a field near Oyster River. Again a saucer but cream colored light with blue or green. I think that is what he said. I will pass this link onto my son's friend and also my other friend that saw it 3 times. It is better that they talk to you themselves. I was just wondering if you had any other reports from Vancouver Island (up past Courtenay) this month? Has anyone else seen this same craft? (in all cases, it has been only one craft) That is about all for now.

Altogether he has seen it twice this past week in the same locale between Oyster River and Black Creek, but his sightings were over the ocean. A previous sighting about a month ago was over a field near Oyster River. Again a saucer but cream colored light with blue or green. I think that is what he said. I will pass this link onto my son's friend and also my other friend that saw it 3 times. It is better that they talk to you themselves. I was just wondering if you had any other reports from Vancouver Island (up past Courtenay) this month? Has anyone else seen this same craft? (in all cases, it has been only one craft) That is about all for now.

Date: October 12, 2007 Time: 11:25 - 11:30 p.m.
Approach Direction: Southwest. Departure Direction: Northeast. Witness Direction: West.
Description: We were taking garbage out and it had been raining that day so I (name removed) looked up at the sky to see if it was clearing up when I seen an odd shape in the sky. It looked like a donut shape which was completely symmetrical and the middle you could see clear sky through, but the outside band was thick and cloud like shape/color. Then (name removed) spotted a second shape of the exact same details but this one was in the clouds but was so bold you couldn't miss it. The second one was about 4km Northwest from the first one spotted.
Color/Shape: White-cloud color circular/oval shape. Very bold/smooth on the edges and completely hollow with the band being the same exact width all the way around.
Height & Speed: Roughly cloud level, lasted approx. 3-4 minutes before the shape took a different form from the wind.
TV/Radio/Press: Not to my knowledge.

Strange Lights Seen From Niagara On The Lake - Ontario (Lights)

Date: September/October Time: Evening.
For almost a month now my daughter and I have been watching the sky at the golf course along the lake. We seem to be seeing what look to be stars at first, but actually have a circle in the middle with lines on either side. The centre of this actually looks bright gets larger than small a pinprick in the north sky, They seem to mostly be over the Ajax area. We brought out the binoculars and then were able to see what appeared to be flashing red, blue, green and amber colored lights. They seemed to flash red and blue at first then would change. Eventually it would just disappear. What I can't seem to understand is that these things can hover in the same coordinate for hours. There have been up to two and or three at separate times. This would be Sept, 07 into and actually last eve which is October 14, 2007 Strange but interesting.

Kelowna, British Columbia A Very Large Cylindrical Metal Shaped Craft

Approach Direction: West. Departure Direction: Unknown. Witness Direction: West.
Description: It was a clear, cool sunny afternoon when I was on my way to work. I was driving through the orchards when I noticed a very large shape above Black Mountain. I didn't really think too much about it because there are aircraft coming and going through this valley all the time. But one thing did stand out in my mind and that was the size of the object. It's hard to know for sure but it was at least 30-60km away, a thousand feet above the mountain and had to be 200-1000 feet long. As I say it could have been longer. I thought at first glance that it was a large aircraft, maybe a 747.
The unusual thing about that is this size of plane is much too large for our airport. This thought process I might add was really only a few seconds. Me looking into the sky, noticing a very large object, me thinking it was a large plane. Anyway, as I continue my drive, maybe 30 seconds to a minute passes and I look again to the west and the large object is still there. Now I think, whatever it is it must be heading right at me to appear like it hasn't moved. Now while I'm driving I'm paying more attention to it. No longer just a passing glance. So as I watch, I'm waiting for it to move across the mountain top from either a north/ south or a south/ north direction. I'm waiting to see what direction its heading. Still it doesn't move.
Very large, cylindrical, metal shape and no lights. I'm thinking its a large plane and I'm seeing the fuselage. But there are no wings to see or fins to notice. It's been about 3 minutes now of me watching this object and still it doesn't move, change shape, color, create a shadow, nothing. I think maybe its a balloon of some kind but it's so far away and much too flat. Like a plane with no wings and without paint. I'm now approaching some train tracks and as I navigate through the road a set of trees obstructs my view, maybe 2-3 seconds. As I return to look, the object is completely gone. I did not see it move in any direction. When I get to work, about 2 minutes more, I step out and watch the sky for a few minutes thinking whatever it was may have "flown" into the tree-line and I will see what it is and that will be the end of that. But I hear and see nothing. I'm not sure what I saw but I can tell you it was very strange, very large and I'm sure it wasn't a plane. The sighting lasted about 5 minutes I guess from the first time I noticed it until it disappeared.
Color/Shape: Metal, cylinder shaped, long/ no flashing lights.

Flightpaths Of Pearson Airport Mississauga, Ontario Grey Metallic Disc

Location of Sighting: Flightpaths of Pearson Airport. Mississauga, Ontario. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Grey Metallic Disc.
Full Description of event/sighting: While driving south on hwy 410 and watching a plane fly in front of me. A metallic grey disc, very thin but about the size of a mid-sized car flies past my vision of the plane and then surpasses the planes speed and is gone. Lasted about 3-4 seconds. It was traveling rather low, a couple hundred feet above the ground and going from east to west along the Toronto Pearson Airports take off flight routes. As soon as I seen it I told my wife, "look at that", while trying to get my camera out all while driving, by the time I pulled my camera out it was already gone. A few seconds more I would of had a picture of it. My wife did not see it. This is also sighting number 2 since September 28, 2007. I will forward proof of that one soon. I am friends with (names removed). The next report I'm going to give you I have 3 witnesses whom also have agreed to come forward. She has a video and I have a video clip, also pictures of it, but this was also at night.

Garson, Ontario Unusual Lights

Date: October 15, 2007 Time: 6:30 p.m.
Approach Direction: Stationary, downward, up, and then north. Departure Direction: Stationary, and very quickly northbound. Witness Direction: North.
Description: OK, so having started this I will keep going. This is not the first time the kids and I have seen these lights in the sky. Now I'm not crazy, nor are my children. We have tried to come up with every explanation that we could for what these are. We are by an airport, quite some distance, I tried to tell myself that, that's what they are, but I have even gone so far as to go to the neighbors house to ask her if she sees it and what she thinks they are. She of course said "plane", ok I said, why no sound, and why isn't it moving towards the airport.
Tonight was different, the boys came in and said they saw a meteor falling from the sky. I went to look at what really appeared to be a plane falling from the sky in a ball of fire. The more you watched, the more you realized that it wasn't really falling. It was going down way to slow, then it started going at an angle, then just disappeared. Not long after that is when the rest of the lights showed up. They just appear. Sometimes they move very quick and are gone, but the interesting thing is that they seem to pulsate from white, to green, to red. They stay for anywhere from an hour to a couple of hours and then just disappear.
Now I am not a big UFO believer, and I'm sure that there is an explanation for this, but the fact that these lights seem to appear every Fall has me confused. The alternating colors of light (red and green) totally have me confused. The one we saw tonight looked bizarre. How can something fall and look like it's on fire with the streaming tail and everything and then just start flying normally and then disappear? I don't think that we are the only ones that like to look at the night sky, but I don't know anyone else who's seen this (neighbor excluded) that's what brought me to this web site. I was looking for a rational explanation, but I'm afraid I haven't found one as of yet.
Color/Shape: Colors vary from bright white, to red, and green sometimes it appears to have a tail. Sometimes it's just a round glowing light.
Height & Speed: The only one I saw take off and move, went faster than any plane I've seen. I don't know how fast that is, but we live not far from an airport and this thing was on high gear, and did I mention no sound, nothing. We always here planes in the afternoon when they come in, this was way to fast with no sound.
TV/Radio/Press: As far as I know, nobody in Sudbury seems concerned about lights in the sky. The odd time things are on the news, it's for people to make sure not to miss a meteor shower or not to look because of an eclipse, so not wanting to have people think I'm a fruit-loop I don't say to much and I watch the news every night. Hopefully someone can help explain what we've been seeing. Especially tonight.

UBC - Vancouver, British Columbia Bright Green Ball

Description: We saw a large, bright green ball shoot quickly from above down behind a building in the distance. It was moving very quickly and was bright green unlike a firework or shooting star.
Color/Shape: Bright Green Ball.
Height & Speed: Too difficult to determine.
TV/Radio/Press: No report in the media.
