Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, this appeared to be the same object I saw earlier this evening. Same two large orange lights only now there were a small red and white strobe firing alternatively between them. Other then those four lights there was no other lighting displayed. No red and green clearance lighting and no other strobes. I observed it as it headed northbound over Burnaby Mountain and continued to watch through my binoculars as it passed over Seymour Mountain. Estimated height 5000 feet as it appeared to just clear the mountain.
Estimated speed about the same as the British Airways 747 as it follows the same route. Estimated size appeared to be similar as the 747, without the wing tip clearance lights it was hard to judge. Those orange lights appeared to be about the size of jet engine outlets with out the flame. They were bigger than landing lights on anything I've seen in the air and not as bright more a soft glowing light, the red and white strobes were far brighter and more intense.
They looked the same coming and going so I'm sure they were not engine exhaust. I had the window wide open since my wife was not home to yell and did not hear any noise come from the object. As it passed over Mt. Seymour I tried to get on the video again. But for some reason the camera would not pick it up. I could easily still see it with the naked eye and easily picked it up with the binoculars. All I saw with the camera were the lights up on the ski hill and numerous stars. Just before dawn I saw a large commercial Jet fly over the Green Tower at about the same height as those white strobes appeared to be last night. If that was just one big object attached to those white strobes than it would have made the jet look like a toy.
I stayed up till 02:00 and didn't see anymore flying objects, I did see a number of those colored oval shaped blips in various parts of the sky and several meteorites, I keep forgetting just how fast those things travel, just a streak and their gone. I aimed my camera up about a 45 degree angle to the north and had the infra red night vision turned on. Don't know what the zoom ratio was but it was well over 100 X. I had it hooked up to my TV and at one point saw what looked like a black hockey puck suddenly appear out of no where. It appeared to make a sudden high speed descent, then with out slowly down made an almost right angle turn to the west and flew of the screen. It was very fast and must have been on only a few frames, when I checked the tape later I was unable to find it.

Facing South, Towards Lake Ontario A High Pulse Of Pure Light

Today, February 23, 2006 at approx: 10:15 am, while outside on break. I was sky watching into about five minutes. The conditions of the sky was clear, with a thin veil of cloud. The moon was a crescent shape, at about 2:00 o'clock facing directly south, towards Lake Ontario. To my astonishment, a "very" bright pulse of light, near the moon, emerged for 1-2 seconds. This was not a flash, but a high pulse of pure light. The color was a rich purple-blue, with bright white around the outside. It did have size, at about at arm's length of a pea. This intense pulse is the brightness and well "defined" shape(round), object, I have ever seen in the daytime. It happen so fast and it's as if it never happened. Though the flashes in the sky continue during the daytime. Now you have to question? What's up with that one? Are you finding similar reports in the daytime ? Take care.

Hamilton, Ontario Object's Lights Which Encompassed The Craft

Full Description of event/sighting: I was late for work, heading north on Sherman Ave from Dunsmure. As I was approaching the stop light at King and Sherman, I noticed a very bright light in the sky. At first I thought "Wow, it must be Mars. It sure is bright". It only took a second to realize that this was not a planet as it was moving. I then thought it was perhaps a plane. It did not fit the usual appearance of a plane. I was mesmerized and perplexed. It was lit up very bright.
No red lights were the wings or tail should be, just a glowing brightness. The object's lights which encompassed the entire shape of the object, it suddenly went out right before my eyes, but I could still clearly see the outline. It was like an empty shell. The object then changed direction abruptly and erratically. I remember saying out loud, "What the..." I was forced to turn left and lost sight of the object. I kept replaying in my mind what I had just witnessed and trying to make logical sense of it. All I know for sure is that it was not an airplane. I hope someone else saw something unusual, I would love to compare notes.

Cornwall, Ontario Lights In A "V" - Close To A Crescent Moon Shape

Full Description of event/sighting: This event happened on the Friday evening of February 24, 2006. I was returning from a museum visit with my girlfriend when I noticed a couple of strange white lights close to the horizon. I glanced at that a few times and noticed that they didn't look normal at all. My girlfriend noticed them as well and we were trying our best to figure out what they were. They looked like two almost straight lines, close to a crescent moon maybe and they were extremely bright.
They were moving a little back and forth in the sky and they looked like they were very far away, but looked very large. There were a few dark clouds above them, very thin in an otherwise crystal clear sky. We went through a drive-thru to get a coffee and I phoned my brother to go outside and take some pictures. While I got my coffee the objects were out of sight and we could not see them for about five minutes max.
When we were back on the road one of them had disappeared, completely. The sky was a dark blue all around and we could see no trace. One was still there however, still bright as it was previously. As we drove westward towards my home we saw the object slowly move up towards the thin piece of patchy dark cloud above. It moved slowly towards it until it vanished behind. ( The cloud was very sparse and very thin, yet the brightness completely vanished.)
I continued to watch it and suddenly my girlfriend pointed out an object which was rising from the top of the cloud. This object was not bright however like the previous one, it was black and looked like it was extremely high and moving extremely fast. It looked like a giant 'V' shaped object and was moving higher and higher above the clouds. It was still slightly light outside at the point, enough to see the object fairly well. It did not look like a plane, maybe it was, but I still wrestled with its shape and the apparent speed in my mind.
I got to my home and ran inside to get a camera as my girlfriend kept watch. My brother had not seen it, he looked in the completely wrong direction! Either way, I ran outside with the camera and it had just vanished. My girlfriend said it looked like it just went so high it was out of view. We both are still trying to look at this rationally but the objects we so strange looked and acted so strangely we are having a hard time arriving at any concrete conclusion. If anyone else in Cornwall has seen this I would more than love to compare our experience, it truly was odd.

Hamilton, Ontario Bright Object Witnessed

Full Description of event/sighting: I am writing as possible confirmation of the sighting report from Hamilton on the same day. I live in the north end of Hamilton (between Dundas & Ancaster sort of down in the valley). I was up early, the sky was starting to brighten (sunrise is about 6:45 am), looking out my apartment window to the south, above the Hwy 403 escarpment I saw an extremely bright light. I usually get up for work around that time but I wasn't going to work that morning (I've had the flu).
My first thought was must be Venus. It appeared stationery but kind of pulsing and shimmering. The extreme brightness of the object made it stand out as very unusual. It seemed larger, brighter and somehow closer than a star (or planet) should be. I could see no other stars anywhere in the sky due to the increasing brightness of the coming sunrise. so that sort of confirmed for me that it was probably Venus (the morning star).
I was tempted to continue watching to see if it would disappear too, like the stars had already as the sky continued to brighten but eventually I returned to bed. I didn't see it move or go out, but I look out that window most mornings and have not seen anything similar before or since (although the last two days have been cloudy). I would probably not have written you except for the other report.

Black Point, Nova Scotia Small White Lights Circling Object

It was quite dark out and there were no stars. I live in Black Point, Nova Scotia, and I was home alone. I was watching TV in my living room that looks out over the bay. I happened to see this bright orb like thing hovering over the water. I got up to the window to get a closer view, but it had dimmed it's lights. I made it to where we have a telescope, but I couldn't find it.
It was flying on the left side of the house over the trees. I ran to the front of the house and it was going really slow, and moving into the distance. I could see the lights underneath it, there was a white flashing light in the back, and a red light flashing in the front. It drifted into the darkness and for a few seconds, all I could see was a flashing red and white light. Then it veered to the left and disappeared.
A couple hours later the same objected appeared over the ocean once again, my dog was acting weird and he was sitting by the door which leads onto the balcony and overlooks the ocean. As I went to the door, opened it to look out and there it was, hovering and flying slowly vertically in the sky. I could now see small white lights around the object in a circle. I ran to the other end of the house to get the digital camera by the time I got back it was already in the distance and all you could see was a white flat silver object flying above the trees.
Additional Information:
The weather was some what cloudy and there were no clouds in the front of the house, the cloud cover was slowly moving in though. The sun had just went down and you could still see the remaining orange sky. There were no stars or airplanes in the area at the time of the sighting. I think it was south at the time and it was over the ocean. I live in a rural community, there are no air force bases or anything of that kind near me and there are no light towers. It was fairly far when it was hovering over the ocean, but it came to the left side of the house. There are trees about as high as a tree top.
It was hovering fairly low to the water I'm guessing 15-20 feet. The sighting lasted about, what it felt like 5 minutes. It had a white light and a red light blinking on each end and I could see the outline of it. It looked shiny and round as it went into the distance and all I could see was the two lights flashing for a couple seconds as it veered right and vanished. It wasn't the shape of a airplane, because if an airplane was flying that low I would be able to see the lights on the wings fairly good. It was loud and it made a smooth noise, not like an airplane.

Surrey, British Columbia Did The Witness See A Large Black Triangle

Date: February 26, 2006 Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.
This is probably nothing but on Sunday night about ten pm. I heard what sounded like one of the bigger float planes (Beaver or Otter) coming right over the building heading north. I leaned forward and looked up expecting to see a plane, but all I saw were four small running lights two red, one on the front and the other on the left rear corner, two green. one on the right rear corner and the other about twenty feet above the others. The lights were only a few hundred feet up but I could not see any fuselage, I did have the feeling I was looking at a large black triangle shaped object.
It may have been a plane but I should have been able to see it easily at that range. I lost sight of it over by Burnaby Mountain. The new Police Chopper came over a little while later and went into orbit over Coquitlam and I could easily see it against the night sky.

Prince George, British Columbia Red Lights Reported

Tonight, March 25, 2006 I received a telephone call from a fellow who resides in Prince George B.C. He related a sighting that he had back in February 23, 2006. The man had taken his dog out so it could do it's business, the fellow looked up to see two red lights moving across the night sky. He said the lights took approx: five minutes to cross the sky, with one of the red lights more in front of the other. He also stated that the lights kept the same distance between one another and traveling at the same speed. There were no nav lights, blinking or flashing off and on as one would see on a normal aircraft. Their was just steady red light. Also the witness said there was no sound to be heard, which he thought unusual and figured he should have heard some noise if it was an aircraft.
As the lights got over top Cranbrook Hill, the last red light, paused for a brief time, then it zipped off and was gone.
Also the gentleman mentioned that two years ago at 4:00 a.m. he was outside and looking up at the Big Dipper and observed an orange light making circles and a figure eight around the night sky. This object whatever it was also shot off like it was shot out of a gun.

Also the witness said there was no sound to be heard, which he thought unusual and figured he should have heard some noise if it was an aircraft.
As the lights got over top Cranbrook Hill, the last red light, paused for a brief time, then it zipped off and was gone.
Also the gentleman mentioned that two years ago at 4:00 a.m. he was outside and looking up at the Big Dipper and observed an orange light making circles and a figure eight around the night sky. This object whatever it was also shot off like it was shot out of a gun.

White Bear, Saskatchewan UFO Sighting

We live on a reserve called White bear 100km from the American border and 60 km from the Manitoba border. My two brothers and my man saw something in the sky between south and southwest by the big dipper and it moved in a curved motion turning bright and dim like a (flashlight turning in the sky), very clear night no clouds stars shining. One of my brothers always observes them around our area in the sky or above the Heart's Hill, he even has then on his camera recorder, three of them. I'll get them to try catch them again, my deceased grandparents used to see them and now we see them alot, it's almost normal. Well Brian I will let you go and start on this report, I will try capture it on the cam. It was nice to get a response and to share this with someone that actually believes they are in the sky.

Halifax, Nova Scotia Object Appeared Round In Shape

Location of Sighting: Near intersection of Bedford Highway and Hammonds Plains Road Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Possible round.
Full Description of event/sighting: Saw object while driving, after 10 -20 seconds realized what I was seeing and stopped to get better look. Appeared round in shape but only judging by the lights which appeared on and around the object, lights may have been two or three colors but majority were alike in color. Also was not flying at an extremely high altitude and was not going extremely fast (quite slow in my opinion).
Object continued in a northerly direction and lost sight as it passed behind hills/trees. Attempted to follow path and get to a higher spot but did not see it again after initially losing sight.

I have about 4 minutes of footage taken tonight, January 6 at 10:00 pm EST in Milton Ontario.
The object is high in the sky above the moon and moves erratically. There are shape and colour changes and the object moves at great speed in the camera frame - so much so that it leaves the frame at times as I try to keep up with it's movement.

Hi Brian, I have had numerous sightings of these unknown white objects. Today on Sunday, January 15, 2006 at about 10:45 am at home in Oshawa, over Lake Ontario. I again witnessed these high flying white objects moving in different directions. The altitude at less,1000-2000 feet, at about half a mile to maybe a couple of miles. So to prove that what I see is real, took some pictures. You be the judge to view, of what's flying over our skies. One thing to note, the morning here is near zero degrees-F.

Country Harbour, Nova Scotia Object Bigger Then A House

Message: I am from Country Harbour Nova Scotia, Canada. This past weekend, Sunday January 15, 2006 at around 1:00am a friend of mine and his grand parents saw an object bigger then a house on a blueberry hill close to their house. My friend says the object was the most beautiful thing you could ever see. I believe he said it was an orange light. We know it was not the moon because the weather was rainy. The reason they got to see it was that his grandmother screamed while the guys were sleeping and her scream woke them up. They thought something happened to the grandmother. By the time they went to get binoculars the object was gone. There is also a girl I know who said she has pictures of what she seen as well. I don't know if it was in the same spot or not or the same day but I will find out and be sure to tell you about it.

Country Harbour, Nova Scotia A Huge Golden Shiny Object

Hello. My friend told me that I could send a report to you about what I saw this Sunday. Sorry if my grammar is bad I don't usually type perfectly. Anyway, my name is (removed), I live in Nova Scotia. I was staying at my grandmothers for the night which is right across the road from my house and they went to bed about 12:00 am and I stayed up to watch TV for a little while until about 12:30. About 1:00 in the morning my grandmother was in her room with her door shut and I heard " oh my god (name removed) (who is my grandfather) she said, "look at the moon it is so big" .
I went in to see what was so interesting and there on the hill behind their house was this huge golden shiny and absolutely beautiful round object about the size of an air balloon. We quickly realized it wasn't the moon because the moon wasn't out, or something. I really wasn't paying attention. Anyway, it was a round shape and we could see the bottom of it because it was covered by the hill. You wouldn't believe how shiny and golden this was. We live out in the middle of nowhere so we knew it wasn't any man made object. We all went scrambling into the kitchen, looking for the binoculars but didn't find them, so we went back to the room and it was gone. Nothing was there just the hill. The object made no sound at all ,very quiet.
Also when my grandfather was out back of his house back in 1988 he saw a strange red object not much bigger than a beach ball hovering above him and it made no sound at all either. He ran back to the house not knowing what it was.
He was panicked so he didn't want to stick around. Also that very night in 1988 someone filed a report in the news paper of the exact same red object that made no sound, it was spotted on the highway and my grandparents never mentioned it to anybody!

Calgary, Alberta Object Moving In A Circular Motion

Message: I saw a bright steady light flying across my window just now, bright steady white light. It appeared in the middle of the sky and then it moved really fast, with no trail leaving behind this light. It might have been a comet but, I believe that comets leave trail. Then 10 something seconds later, I sighted another similar light appeared on the other side, popped up in the middle of the sky again. It was moving in a circular motion, then it speed up and disappeared in the middle of the sky again. I was wearing a headphone at the time it happened, my roommate next door claimed that he heard a really loud air craft noise coming from outside the same time that I sighted this strange bright lights. It's now 2:17am, January 17, 2006. This happened about 15 - 20 minutes ago. I don't know if it was a comet or something else. Please inform me if you know the answer to this. Thank you.

Mayland Heights Calgary, Alberta A Smoked Black Flattish Object

Message: Just checking to see if anyone has reported seeing an object of sorts flying over the city on or about 5:30 pm Wednesday January 18, 2006. It was brief and was preceded by three I guess flashes of light before the object appeared. Now, my wife thinks I'm crazy, but I tried to catch the lights on tape but was unsuccessful, the lights don't show up on my camcorder. Anyways, after I seen the last of the three lights, I seen a smoked black um, flattish object over the city and moved towards the Mayland Heights area. Sorry, cant be more descriptive, never seen anything like it and thought maybe at first it would've been a plane or something, but no blinking lights. So, I don't know if I am crazy or not, no one believes me. So, I thought I'd drop it here and see where it went. Hope someone else seen it, so I don't sound like a looney.

I have a photo taken in Oshawa, on January 27, 2006 after 1:00 pm. The picture was taken to the southwest over Lake Ontario. I could see some white objects moving and flashes in that area of the sky. In the picture sent you, there appears to be two different shaped objects. One an oblong object, in a vertical position. The other, a much rounder shaped object. I had taken 3 other photo's within a minute of the same part of the sky. No other objects were seen in those, but this one photo. One thing to note Brian, it is one year"ago", January 27, 2005 you received my "first" pictures sent to you of " unknowns" over Scarborough, of multiple objects photographed.

Surrey, British Columbia Bright Yellow Flashes

As you know I've spent much of the last two weeks just staring out the window. During the last two weeks I've been noticing, bright yellow flashes at all hours of the day and night, these have been occurring daily. At first I was only catching them out of the corner of my eye, so didn't think much of them. Object Parallels Lake Ontario

Hi Brian, hope all is well with you and the snow level. I have had another,"what's that" to report to you. Today on Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at exactly 12:36 pm. I was in my place of work's parking lot, inside my car, getting ready to get out. I then looked directly south, against the blue sky. A single white round light was moving from the west to the east, parallel along Lake Ontario. The speed would be a guess, at between 100-200 mph and about 2-3000 feet high.
The distance from my position, about 1-2 miles away. As this object moved along on a straight flight path, with now, dark clouds as a background. This light was more defined as "round" to best describe it. This sighting lasted between 40-50 seconds and another head shaker begins. I can only ask Brian. Did you receive any similar reports today? I can only assume, these objects are monitoring the area, along the lakeshore on a regular basis. Take care and keep up the good work.

Hi Brian, hope all is well with you and the snow level. I have had another,"what's that" to report to you. Today on Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at exactly 12:36 pm. I was in my place of work's parking lot, inside my car, getting ready to get out. I then looked directly south, against the blue sky. A single white round light was moving from the west to the east, parallel along Lake Ontario. The speed would be a guess, at between 100-200 mph and about 2-3000 feet high.
The distance from my position, about 1-2 miles away. As this object moved along on a straight flight path, with now, dark clouds as a background. This light was more defined as "round" to best describe it. This sighting lasted between 40-50 seconds and another head shaker begins. I can only ask Brian. Did you receive any similar reports today? I can only assume, these objects are monitoring the area, along the lakeshore on a regular basis. Take care and keep up the good work.

Near Lake Ontario Just East Of Oshawa Red Light Vanishing

Date: December 4th-7th, 2005 Time: About 4:15- 4:45 p.m.
Message: This is getting strange. For the past 3 days now I am watching this object go from one side of the moon to the other in a straight line then stop dead in front of my house view. This happens at about 4:15- 4:45pm. This object then just stays there and moves with the moon. It is round and very bright. It is the only bright light in the sky. I took some video of this object and when I zoomed in, that's when the show really starts. This object moves up and down, side to side and glows. I thought maybe a star but NOT A CHANCE. It has a red light near the top middle that you can see then vanishes. It looks like a planet but I never knew of one to pass the moon like a stainless steel plane everyday and stop.
I have amazing video of this event from 2 days now. It sometimes has a green neon glow around the object then it will just go clear and pulsate. I called my Dad who lives about an hour away and he saw the same thing with this red light thing and then it vanishes. I am near Lake Ontario just East of Oshawa and have read other sightings similar to this one. What is this thing?? People are starting to think I'm nuts. I have red somewhere these things happen alot near nuclear power plants?
