Canadian Outrage At Fox News - Red Eye's Greg Gutfeld On Canadian Military (Idiot)

Posted: March 24, 2009

The spectacularly stupid and offensive Fox News show Red Eye with host Greg Gutfeld came out with what I can only call an idiotic statement on his program. It is a stupid thing to say anytime, but with four of Canada's fallen heroes coming home now, it is a slap in the face to the Canadian troops, their families and the rest of the people of Canada. I don't know how people like Greg Gutfeld finds this a funny topic to bring to his show. He should have more respect for Canada's military and their families and our country in general. I am appalled !

A Canadian 1972 UFO Sighting (Letter)

Posted: February 1, 2009

HBCC UFO Research Note: This sighting report I had posted back some years after I received the letter from the eyewitness, I thought it would be nice to post the actually letter the lady sent to me. There are 9 images/letters below so you can read the witnesses letter to me. I have removed another ladies name. I just gave a short bit about what the letter holds, you can read about the entire sighting in at the links provided.

My present (married) name is (name removed), though in August of 1972 my (maiden) name was (name removed). It was the summer vacation between my second and third years of law school; at the time I lived in New York City where I was attending Columbia University School of law. A friend of mine from law school had to get his car back to California before the registration expired; he'd invited me to drive across Canada and down the West Coast. Thus it was that August 10, 1972 I was seated in the passenger seat of a car traveling west on the Trans Canada Highway in the western portion of Saskatchewan headed towards the Alberta border, a long and quite - deserted stretch of road. It was the beginning phase of sunset: it was still basically full daylight, but western sky was already glowing a reddish orange.

Canadian UFO Sighting Reports - 551 Reported Sightings For 2008

Posted: January 14, 2009

The below total number of Canadian sighting reports were received by HBCC UFO Research and UFOINFO.

Total number of Canadian reported sightings for 2008 is 551,

Brian Vike, Director of HBCC UFO Research can be reached at 250 845 2180. But please note, this number is to be used only for anyone wanting to file a UFO report or the media if they would like to contact me. Or you can write to me at: hbccufo@telus.net or through the HBCC UFO Research website.

*HBCC UFO Research* and *UFOINFO* together have received 551 written and audio UFO sighting reports from January 1, 2008 up until December 31, 2008 and in 2008 we received more reports than we did in 2007.

Ontario, in 2008 leads the Canadian provinces with 192 reported sightings, followed by British Columbia with 179 cases.

Below is a break down on reports received by HBCC UFO Research and UFOINFO from January 1, 2008 to December 31, 2008.

Sighting reports from January 1, 2008 onward until the end of the year. (December 31, 2008)

British Columbia - 179 reported sightings.

Ontario - 192 reported sightings.

Alberta - 47 reported sightings.

Nova Scotia - 21 reported sightings.

Quebec - 29 reported sightings.

Manitoba - 23 reported sightings.

Saskatchewan - 28 reported sightings.

New Brunswick - 22 reported sightings.

Newfoundland - 7 reported sightings.

Yukon - 2 reported sightings.

Northwest Territories - 1 reported sighting.

Total number of Canadian reported sightings for 2008 is 551 cases.

The sightings range from meteor sightings, aircraft, stars, the ISS, etc. Although many of the sightings were certainly explainable, there were some really amazing cases in which no answers could be found and I am still looking for a rational explanation for some events.

One of the most amazing UFO events took place between Houston and Burns Lake, British Columbia on August 3, 2008 where two men were stopped by a UFO which was hovering in front of their vehicle, not once but twice on the same evening. Also on August 8, 2008 in the same general area, Uncha Lake South Of Burns Lake, British Columbia a number of eyewitnesses watched a large platform with two circle objects attached to it floating/drifting across the evening sky and finally disappearing over a local mountain. This craft? UFO was estimated to be 200 to 500 feet in length. Also the Sasquatch paid us a visit in northern British Columbia where I reside in Houston. Also the critter was seen in several other places in B.C. as well, so a good year for Sasquatch sightings around the end of July 2008 onward.

I should also add the Okanagan in British Columbia is again proving to be a Canadian hotspot for reported sightings. In particular, Vernon, B.C. has been a very active area with 32 reported sightings in 2008.

Other amazing cases came in from Ontario and other provinces as well. I would also like to note, the 551 reported sightings came into just *HBCC UFO Research* and *UFOINFO*. There are many other UFO organizations across Canada and in the United States that are receiving Canadian UFO cases. So the total will be much greater for each of the Canadian provinces by the end of December 31, 2008.

I couldn't even guess how many UFOs reports were reported from the United States and other areas of the world. Most sightings do come into us from the United States and we are very happy to receive them, actually some of the best cases are coming from the U.S. and go back numerous years. I should also add, there was a huge amount of sightings that came in from the United Kingdom. These were over the orange lights/object sightings. Many of these objects reported turned out to be Chinese Lanterns, but certainly not all of the sightings were this.

Like I always tell folks, no matter when the UFO event took place, please send in your report, either to HBCC UFO Research or UFOINFO as we are here to help where we can, and are extremely interested in what the witness has to say. I also keep harping on an important part of this UFO topic, and that is that the witness who is reporting to us, is that their private/personal information is completely confidential.

Don't forget to file your sightings, new or old, John and I appreciate everyone of them.

I should also add that if any of you have had a sighting of something unusual in the past or the present and would like to talk about the event in a taped interview for the radio show, just drop me a line and I am happy to call you up.

Canadian UFO Sighting Reports - 439 Reported Sightings (Updated)

Posted: February 11, 2008

Brian Vike September 19, 2007

Total number of Canadian reported sightings so far for 2007 is 439 cases. Running Count

Brian Vike, Director of HBCC UFO Research and host of the Vike Report radio show can be reached at 250 845 2180. But please note, this number is to be used only for anyone wanting to file a UFO report or the media if they would like to contact me. Or you can write to me through the HBCC UFO Research website.

Update takes us through until the end of 2007

*HBCC UFO Research* and *UFOINFO* together have received 341 written (and audio) UFO sighting reports from January 1, up until August 27, 2007 and I am sure the total number will climb as we still have four months left in 2007. Not included in the total number of reports is approximately 26 telephone interviews which we done and the reports have not been written up as of yet, these would include sightings from British Columbia, Ontario and Alberta.

Ontario still leads the Canadian provinces with a whopping 192 reported sightings, followed by British Columbia with 136 cases.

Below is a break down on reports received by HBCC UFO Research and UFOINO from January 1, 2007 to August 27, 2007. (Updated)

HBCC UFO Research Note and Update on the total numbers. The numbers below relate to what we have received from January 1, 2007 and the numbers will change throughout 2007, or until the end of this year.

Updates takes us through until the end of 2007

Ontario - 140 - (Updated 192 reported sightings)

British Columbia - 81 - (Updated 136 reported sightings)

Alberta - 27 - (Updated 37 reported sightings)

Nova Scotia - 10 - (Updated 15 reported sightings)

Quebec - 10 - (Updated 13 reported sightings)

Manitoba - 10 - (Updated 20 reported sightings)

Saskatchewan - 7 - (Updated 10 reported sightings)

New Brunswick - 5 - (Updated 9 reported sightings)

Newfoundland - 2 - (Updated 3 reported sightings)

Yukon - 1

Total number of Canadian reported sightings so far for 2007 is 439 cases.

The sightings range from a spectacular meteor event over Ontario back in March of 2007, followed by a wave of unknown craft/objects. Stars and the planet Venus were another cause for some of the reports, the ISS (International Space Station) and Space Shuttle played a roll as well. Also aircraft were reported as being a UFOs. To round things off, there were a few UFO sightings that did turn out to be balloons, but although many sighting were certainly explainable, there were some really amazing cases in which no answers could be found, and I am still looking for a rational explanation for some events.

One of the most amazing UFO events took place over the Kelowna, British Columbia region on July 2, 2007 where numerous eyewitness in different parts of Kelowna saw a cylinder shaped craft, with what looked like fins on it, and on fire, ripped down through the sky and finally hitting the water on Okanagan Lake, British Columbia. The sound was incredibly loud and like a deep bass "womp, womp, womp" sound as it came down. The same object then reappeared from where it hit the lake, rose up and then sat and hovered in the sky. Meanwhile a cone or "possible" triangular shaped craft was stationary a short distance away from the cylinder shaped craft. What took place next dumbfounded all of the people who had watched the event unfold, the two objects started reacting to one another, and the best description given from the witnesses was like looking at tracer fire from automatic weapons, or in other words it was like the two UFOs were shooting at one another. After a short time of exchanging what looked like the two craft were firing on one another, a loud bang was heard and the cone shaped craft was nowhere to be seen. The torpedo shaped object was still hovering in the sky. It started moving from side to side and then a loud sonic boom and it was now gone. Needless to say, some witnesses screamed loudly or when watching had their jaw almost hit the ground from watching such a unusual event unfold in front of their eyes.

A couple of other interesting things happened not long after this UFO battle. A NATO AWAC aircraft did a couple of fly-bys over the Kelowna airport, when Airport Operations Manager James Hall was contacted, he confirmed that the aircraft that flew over the Kelowna airport was indeed a NATO aircraft, a modified Boeing 707 AWAC. Mr. Hall also said that they were not privy to their (military) operations or plans. Numerous unknown helicopters were seen in and around the area, more than the normal helicopter traffic one would see in the area. Also CF-18 fighter jets were video taped leaving the Kelowna airport, but this certainly may or may not have anything to do with the UFO battle over Okanagan Lake. I guess we just keep an open mind to the chain of events and hope for a break in the case.

One of the witnesses did a nice graphic on their computer to illustrate what the UFO event looked like, this can be viewed at: *Kelowna UFO Battle Illustration*

Other amazing cases came in from Ontario and other provinces as well. I would also like to note, the 293 reported sightings came into just *HBCC UFO Research* and *UFOINFO*. There are many other UFO organizations across Canada and in the United States that are receiving Canadian UFO cases. So the total will be much greater for each of the Canadian provinces.

I couldn't even guess how many UFO reports were reported from the United States and other areas of the world. Most sightings do come into us from the United States and we are very happy to receive them, actually some of the best cases are coming from the U.S. and go back numerous years.
