Four Lights Observed Over Richmond Hill Ontario

Date: April 2, 2011
Time: Approx: 1:00 a.m.

Brian, lights were hovering over Richmond Hill last night, April 2, 2011 Saturday, around 1:00am as I was going to bed. 'Richmond Hill' from my perspective in Newmarket, could have been farther or nearer, I'm not certain. My wife saw them also. Four lights sometimes combining, sometimes disappearing and then re-appearing.

I thought helicopters, but four of them? The police usually only use one, the military, well nothing military south of Newmarket military wise. I opened the window, but could hear no helicopter sounds as I think I should if they were that close.

Just wondering if you got an answer on this as I saw your post on Canada UFO site, were I got your email.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Four Orange Red Balls Of Light Over Thompson Manitoba

Date: December 24, 2010
Time: Evening.

Hi Brian, there were actually 5 lights, each the size of a bright red star, that appeared for approximately 2 minutes. It kind of looked like the base of the big dipper shifted locations in the sky, when the lady I'm with and myself observed the objects moving in the sky. We have no idea what they were, but tried to rationalize them as something like a group of helicopters, or other aircraft able to hover and shift locations in the sky quickly.

Though I do have my doubts that something can move that quickly in the sky when I later observed the speed of a commercial plane in the sky (it wasn't close to what these things did.) Anyways, it must be something rational like 5 air force jets flying a Operation Santa Claus practice flight. Thompson does have a radar observation dome that monitors the sky. I'm sure there's a record of these aircrafts being there. I'm going to attempt to look into it when I return to work.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Chilliwack, British Columbia Canada Four Round Glowing Orange Lights

Posted: May 24, 2009

Date: May 23, 2009
Time: Approx: 10:45 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Chilliwack, B.C.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 4
Shape of Objects: Round glow.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My husband and I went for a walk last evening within the city of Chilliwack. At one point I looked up into the sky and saw 4 glowing orange lights. I said to my husband look at those lights - what are they? He glanced up and said "fireworks". I looked and said no they are not fireworks - flares perhaps, but they don't appear to be moving. I don't think so. Then my husband said - they are lights on a crane at the Rhombus hotel (where there is construction going on). That seemed plausible because there was one light that was higher and more out front then the others and then there were 3 lights in a row at a lower distance and they did appear stationery. As we walked further and kept looking at them we realized - no they are not in the proximity of the Rhombus and there is no crane there! What are they? We kept watching and the lights then appeared to start moving or turning direction to the north and then they went "out" one at a time. We hoped to get home in time to grab the camera before the last light went out but we missed it.

The lights were in the northwestern sky. We did not hear any sounds. They were an orangish color kind of glowing. The sky was clear - no clouds. The lights were larger than any airplanes would be. They were kind of like the idea of a street lamp glow but way off in the distance and high in the sky.

Thank you to the witness for their sighting report.

Caledon Ontario Canada Four Orange Colored Circular Objects

Posted: May 19, 2009

Date: May 17, 2009
Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Caledon, Ontario Canada.
Number of witnesses: 3
Number of Objects: 4
Shape of Objects: Mainly circular, round ball, sphere.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: It was a clear night. Sitting on my sofa, we have a clear view through a window over our fireplace. Noticed some really weird looking lights, something never seen before. There were 3 of them and they appeared to be in a line following each other. No noise, not looking like they were moving very fast, but hard to tell. Their 'motion' was unlike anything I had seen. Called to my wife and she was shocked! We went out on our back balcony to continue to watch (this all taking place in about 2-3 minutes. My wife went inside to call our 12 year old son that there's a UFO in the sky. He thought we were nuts until he came outside and saw them. By this time, there were 4.

The 4th was trailing quite a distance back. As they quickly 'floated' past our house and the 1st appeared to suddenly change course which the other 3 followed perfectly. Now, at this point, the 3 of them are all quite bright orange, appeared a tad bit shaky, but once they turned they went much higher in the sky and, starting with the 1st one, started blinking a bit, then more and more until, 1 by 1 they all flickered out at a certain spot in the sky. Our son was lucky enough to at least witness the final one to full affect. He is still shell-shocked! LOL! All we know is that, until this incident, we are 'make it make sense' kind of people! This has changed all of our thoughts on the subject!

Hope this helps! PS: is there anyway to find out if there were others who spotted these things last night?

Thank you to the witness for their sighting report.

Grimsby, Ontario Four Witnesses Observe UFOs (Pictures)

Posted: January 26, 2009

Date: January 24, 2009
Time: Between 9:20 p.m. to 9:40 p.m.

Dear Brian, In the email body below is a little account of the anomaly myself and 3 other witnesses seen. It happened roughly between 9:20 PM to 9:40 PM. I don't have the exact time because wrist watches don't work on me, so I gave up on them and nobody else had the exact time, but when we walked back to the car it was 10:05pm and it was about a 10 minute walk we also stayed there for about 5 minutes after seeing it. The date was Saturday January 24th 2009. Location was in Grimsby, Ontario right bye the shores of Lake Ontario. It's in the Northwestern corner of the Lake and Between Hamilton and St.Catherine's, Ontario. The two other witnesses wish to remain unknown but can be contacted through telephone. The third witness was my young son.

In the pictures it is the same object but in two different colours. All I did was blown them up 3 separate times for each of the 2 pictures. I took a few more pictures but nothing came up, just the pictures I'm sending you.

Through the binoculars it had the 4 colours in pattern of green, white, yellow and red. But when we took the pictures it came out as solid white and solid red? The object moved a lot slower than a plane. To put it in perspective when the plane flew in when we first started to notice the object the plane was seen and gone in about 2 minutes if that. The movement of the object seemed to be coming in a capital L direction reversed from the St.Catherine's area toward Grimsby, then out toward the United States part of the Lake.

If you need to call or get in touch with the other witnesses, they said they will talk via telephone. After all this we joked with each other and went to believe it or not the Flying Saucer Restaurant for a bite to eat and warm up with coffee in Niagara Falls at 6768 Lundy's Lane. It was a cold typical Canadian night.
So that's all of it.

Thank you to the witness for their sighting report.

Niagara Parkway, Ontario Four Huge Lights Lined Up In Possible Circle

Posted: January 1, 2009

Date: December 30, 2008
Time: 8:02 p.m.

Hi Brian, I spoke to you some time ago re a multiple metallic "flying saucer" sighting in the 1950s in Menihek, Labrador, by a neighbour.

While I have never seen a UFO that I didn't categorize as likely being landing lights from an aircraft or a star or planet, my friend and I did see something strange over the Niagara Parkway (Ontario) Tuesday night December 30, 2008 at 8:02 pm Eastern time. Because it was so strange, my friend took note of the time. We were about ten kilometers out of Niagara on the Lake heading for Niagara Falls when we observed four (4) huge, self-illuminated lights lined up in the beginnings of what might have been a circle. In other words, though we saw no shape of any kind behind the lights, they were equidistant apart, in a row that was slightly "bent." I used to be a student pilot and estimated them to be at roughly about 500 feet altitude. They were exceptionally bright - almost like movie klieg lights and I said to (my friend): "Jeez, have we seen them before!?" She replied: "No..." and I came back with: "What are they?" Naturally, one looks for a rational explanation such as some sort of new installation, even though I knew they were too high to be on any ground structure in our area.

We were coming to a turn with some trees following the parkway and I said: "Let's see them from over here. Four is too many for landing lights and a plane shouldn't be at that altitude anyhow." We rounded the bend, drove for five or ten seconds and they were gone. I stopped on the escarpment at the Brock Monument overlook to scan the area but could see nothing. The evening was fairly overcast but I don't know what the ceiling was that night - something that would likely be available. I decided to goggle lights, Niagara etc. to see if anyone else saw them and came across the other reports from Welland which is in our area - a few miles away. We also waited to see if there were any news report.

Anyhow, I wouldn't file a formal UFO sighting report as I have no idea what they were other than some strange, exceptionally powerful lights in the sky that shouldn't have been there. Their spacing was too close for multiple aircraft with landing lights on to be flying safely and, anyhow, I used to live on a flight path for Toronto International and never saw lights this bright on any aircraft! Pilots should be so lucky.

Just thought I'd tell you as we can't figure it out...all the best.

Thank you to the witness for their report.

UFOs Over Ajax Or Pickering, Ontario Four To Five Bright Yellow Lights In A Cluster

October 18, 2008

Date: October 15, 2008
Time: 6:30 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Ajax, ON.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 4-5
Shape of objects: Bright Yellow Lights.

Full Description of event/sighting: My wife and I were driving west on Wentwentworth St., going towards Thickson Rs. Then I noticed 4-5 bright yellow lights moving around a tight cluster, then they would spread out a bit, then come together again. They were high in the sky and they were too close to be airplanes. Airplanes have additional red and green lights, so I knew that they were not airplanes and they were too high in the sky to be cars on the road in the distance. From what I could tell, they may have been over Ajax or Pickering. Then they came closer to the ground and then I got to work and could not see them anymore.

Thank you to the witness for their sighting report.

Scarborough, Ontario Four Round Bright Lights

Posted: July 23, 2008

Date: July 22, 2008
Time: Evening.

Hi Brian, Last night, July 22/08, I saw 4 big, round lights in the sky above my apt. building. They would circle, come in together, then split 2 by 2 and circle again. This went on for about 1 hour. I couldn't see them because of the overcast sky, but I did see the light. After about an hour, they moved further north.

I haven't heard anything on the news or on the weather report. I was wondering if anyone reported seeing anything. People were on their balconies at the apt. across the street from me watching whatever it was.

If you have any info on this, I would love to hear about it. Thanks.

Thank you to the witness for their report.
