Report Four - Remarkable UFO Wave Continues Over British Columbia Canada (UFO Investigator Brian Vike)

Investigated By Canadian UFO Investigator Brian Vike.

2001 Vanderhoof, British Columbia Crop Circle Investigated By Brian Vike (The Vike Factor)

On the evening of September 6, 2001 Brent Miskuski owner of Central Air Corp. was flying home from Vanderhoof, British Columbia to Prince George, British Columbia when he noticed a formation of crop circles.

The site is located approximately 3 miles east from the threshold of runway 25 at the Vanderhoof airport.

Late afternoon on Friday, September 7, 2001 I had an email from Jennifer Crosby, reporter for Northern Television (CFTK-TV) asking if I had heard of a new formation of Crop Circles in the Vanderhoof, British Columbia area. I told her no, I had not, but I told her if she would give me a little while, I would be happy to check into this story to see if there was any truth to it or not.

After a few phone calls with no luck, I placed another call to the Prince George Citizen who informed me that indeed there was a report from a Mr. Brent Miskuski owner of Central Air Corp., he had spotted the formation of 6 circles in a field approximately 5 kilometers from the airport in a farmers field.

I looked up the telephone number for the small airport in Vanderhoof and made the call. A gentleman by the name of Mr. Brent Miskuski answered the telephone and I asked if he could help me.

Picture Above is Copyright to Mr. Brent Miskuski.

He was kind enough to provide me with the location of the circles, and how many there were in the formation. He also sent me 3 pictures that he took from his aircraft while flying over the the Crop Circle formation.

I made arrangements and prepared to leave my home in Houston, British Columbia for the 2 and a half hour drive first thing Saturday morning well it was still dark.

On September 8, 2001 I arrived early in Vanderhoof, British Columbia at 9:10 a.m., and made my first stop at a local variety store to pick up a couple of items. I asked the store clerk if she had heard anything about the Crop Circles in the area, she had no knowledge about the circles, but she did say there was a really bad order in the area a few nights back. So I paid for the few items and left the store.

I continued on and stopped at another farm, still looking for the field. I needed to get permission before entering the farmers land. As I drove along the road, I spotted an elderly lady who was out tending her garden. I drove into their driveway, got out of my truck and I introduced myself, and went on to explain about the Crop Circles in the area.

Once again, the lady told me pretty much the same story I just heard from the woman in town at the store. They did not know anything about the Crop Circles, but she did tell me about a foul odor, a smoky type smell in the air which turned out to be on the night the Crop Circles appeared.

She and her husband took note of the foul scent in the air just after Midnight. She also went on to tell me that she was discussing the bad odor with another friend who lives next door to her, they also smelled the same smoky foul scent. This stop was a good one for me, as she told me who the land owner was, or I should say who at the time leased the land to grow a crop on.

Now we have 3 separate witnesses who confirmed that there was a smoky type odor in the air on the early morning the Circles appeared. Now if this has anything to do with the circles, I don't know, but it is good to make a note of this.

After talking to the elderly lady I continued up to the home of the farmer who leased the field where the Crop Circles were found. I needed to get permission to investigate. I talked to the man's wife and explained why I was there, and if it would be ok to do my field work on the land where the Crop Circles were.

She said there would be no problem and gave me permission. I also was holding a copy of the Prince George Citizen which had just come out the morning of September 8, 2001 showing one picture, and telling about the circles in their field. She was so surprised to hear this news, she also asked me if she could have the newspaper to show her husband when he got home, which I was glad to give her.

Back down the road about 4 miles or so I went to where I came to the field where the Crop Circles were located. After running around trying to find the location, and getting permission, it now was 12:00 (midday) when I first entered the field. (it worked out good for me as the crop circles could not be seen from the road).

I grabbed my stuff from the truck and entered the field, but I followed along the edge of the grain field, fence line as not to destroy any of their crop. I would guess it was approximately 600 feet from the road, then swung into the center of the field to look for any signs of the circles.

From this point I was able to look over the field as I was up on a very small elevation in the field, and there was nothing to see other than grain blowing in the wind. I figured I had walked to far, so I started heading back toward the truck from where I was now, then I came upon the first  of the six Circles.

It was bloody awesome !

For my records I have named this one Mickey Mouse (The Crop Circle) as you will note from the picture. There is the main body (circle) for the head, and two smaller circles almost touching the main body (the head) which reminded me of ears, and of course Mickey Mouse.

In all six circles, the grain was not broken, it was like it was pushed hard to the ground. The bend in each of the stalks were bent a couple inches up the stalk from the ground.

Above Picture: The Grain in Mickey's Head - Circle Number # 1 was bent clock wise right to the ground until it reached the center where the grain became over lapping. (swirled on top of each other)

Above Picture: The Grain in Mickey's Right Ear - Circle Number # 2 Was bent counter clock wise to the ground until it reached the center where the grain became over lapping. (swirled on top of each other)

Above Picture: The Grain in Mickey's Left Ear - Circle Number # 3 Was bent clock wise right to the ground until it reached the center where the grain became over lapping. (swirled on top of each other)

Above Picture: The Grain In Circle Number # 4 - Was bent counter clock wise to the ground until it reached the center where the grain became over lapping (swirled on top of each other)

Above Picture: The Grain In Circle Number # 6 - Was bent clock wise to the ground until it reached the center where the grain became over lapping. (swirled on top of each other)

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: As seen from the aerial photos, there looked as if there may have been one person who walked into the circles prior to my arrival. There was a small path which lead to Circle Number # 1, but no other traces of anyone walking through the grain to Circle Number # 4.

I did not see any breaks to the stalks of the grain from Circle Number # 4 to Circle Number # 5. There was no other disturbance in any of the circles, and no more paths leading into or out of this area where the circles are located.

I also took notice of chunks of solid ground which looked as if it had been moved. There certainly wasn't much of this, but if you looked closely you could see where chunks of hard soil had been moved when the Crop Circles were created.

Grain samples from each of the six circles were taken, and bagged, also soil samples were taken as well from each of the circles. Other samples, such as grain and soil were taken from around the surrounding area for comparison.

I also have taken pictures of the whole area,  and each of the circles and will have these developed Monday, September 10, 2001 and as soon as I pick them up I will scan these in and place them to my website.

Above Photo: This is a sample of the soil from Circle Number # 4. I removed samples of soil from each of the circles and surrounding area.

I have more pictures, but I will leave this for now.

Crop Circles Return Three Years Later.

by Gordon Hoekstra Citizen Staff, September, 2001

They'rrrrre baaaack !

Crop Circles have been discovered again in Vanderhoof, almost three years to the day they were first found in a ripe oat field just off the airport runway. This time the circles -- an unexplained worldwide phenomena variously said to be the work of trickers, magnetic waves and aliens -- were discovered in a field about 5 kilometers from the Vanderhoof airport, or about 100 kilometers west of Prince George.

Brent Miskuski, an owner and pilot of Central Air, spotted the six latest circles Thursday evening on a flight between Prince George and Vanderhoof. Miskuski was one of those who discovered the first crop-circle formation three years ago. No paths or tracks were visible into the circles, said Miskuski, who made several low passes and took pictures from the air on Friday.

"It just appeared. It's like they were stamped out just like last time," he said. "It's pretty bizarre."

Miskuski has already been in contact with a Crop Circle researcher, Chad Deetken, who came to Vanderhoof in 1998 to take samples and investigate the information. The researcher said tests performed on the oat samples in a U.S. lab later confirmed the Crop Circles were genuine: That is to say there were cellular changes in the oats not found in known hoaxes.

Crop Circles have created quite a bit of controversy. There is mention of crop-circle formations back to the 17th century, and thousands have been recorded in modern times, with the majority found in southern England. Some have found to be hoaxes, where the grass is broken, trampled, bruised or crushed. In the unexplained formations, the stems are bent but not broken.

An unexplained phenomena -- dubbed crop circles around the world -- has been discovered in the forestry and farming community of Vanderhoof, 100 kilometres west of here. Vanderhoof airport owner Brent Miskuski and pilot Larry Frey discovered 10 precise circles of varying sizes between 10 to 100 feet wide (three to 30 metres) in a ripe oat field just beyond the approach to the runway this weekend.

"This is bizarre, I'll tell you," said Miskuski. "It's one out of the twilight zone."

One of the local farmers said his dogs were barking out of control unexplainably Friday night, said Miskuski, adding there was no wind that night either.

Miskuski -- who took pictures from the air -- describes the oats as being bent over symmetrically and lying down very flat. There are no signs of trampling or disturbance, and there were no paths to the circles or between them, he said.

Vanderhoof resident Jay Bangs also viewed the circles from the air when he was flying with his father Sunday morning. He came back after the flight to get a closer look.

He thought there were maybe a half dozen "perfectly round" circles of varying sizes up to 50 feet (15 metres) wide.

Bangs described the oats as being all neatly bent over, with the oats intact on the stalks. "It was very precise."

It's creating quite a bit of talk in the community, said Bangs, who also took pictures of the circles.
Crop circles first appeared in modern times in England in 1972, according to The Crop Circular Internet site.

Since then, there have been about 9,000 reported and documented circles -- about 90% in England but also in B.C.

About 40% of the documented circles have been determined to be hoaxes, says Internet author Freddy Silva, where the grass is broken, trampled, bruised or crushed.

In the authentic, unexplained formations the stems are bent, normally about an inch off the ground, says Silva.

Crop Circles Make A Further Appearance In BC Field.

(Original headline: Mysterious circles crop up again in B.C. field)

VANDERHOOF, B.C. -- Crop circles, a worldwide phenomena variously said to be the work of tricksters, magnetic waves or aliens, have been discovered again in a northern B.C. field, almost three years to the day they were first spotted in the area.

This time the circles were seen in a field about five kilometres from the Vanderhoof airport, about 720 kilometres north of Vancouver.

Brent Miskuski, an owner and pilot of Central Air, spotted the six latest circles Thursday evening on a flight from Prince George to Vanderhoof.

Mr. Miskuski was one of those who discovered the first crop-circle formation three years ago.

No paths or tracks were visible to the circles, said Mr. Miskuski, who made several low passes and took pictures from the air on Friday.

"It just appeared," he said. "It's like they were stamped out just like last time. It's pretty bizarre."

They're baa-aach... Following closely on the heels of crop circles that appeared in the Vanderhoof area in 1998, these six circles were spotted in a field of grain about five kilometers down Sturgeon Point Road.

Crop Circles Return To Vanderhoof.

Omineca Express Newspaper Serving Vanderhoof - Fort Fraser - Fraser Lake Wednesday, September 12, 2001 www.ominecaexpress.com

For the second time, pilot Brent Miskuski has seen something strange as he flew over Vanderhoof. On his way home to Prince George at about 7:30 last Thursday evening, Miskuski took off from the Vanderhoof airport over Sturgeon Point Road. Pressed into the grain crop were six circles - known as 'crop circles'.

"I didn't have my camera, so I went back out (Friday) morning and took some pictures," he said. "I don't know if anyone knows they're there. I didn't see any tracks of footprints going in there." As a pilot for Vanderhoof Flying Service, Miskuski has seen this before. The last time this area witnessed this phenomenon was in late August in 1998, when 11 circles appeared in a field leased by Halltray Farms.

"Last time, Eric (Spier) and I were the first to see those, too," said Miskuski. "There are fewer now and they're smaller." Spier, the pilot who spotted them first in 1998 agreed. "I don't think these ones are as nice as the first ones," he said. "They look rougher." Rough or not, the circles are already grabbing attention. Crop circle specialists from Vancouver, UFO enthusiasts and documentary makers are already on their way to the small town.

Brian Vike, an Unidentified Flying Object researcher from Houston, British Columbia was out Saturday morning, collecting soil and grain samples from the new circles. "This is my first time looking at circles like this," he said. "It's really exciting." Vike who describes himself as an open-minded person, usually gathers reports of UFO sightings in the area. He spent Saturday collecting as much data about the six circles as he could.

One formation of circles - now being referred to as "Mickey Mouse's head" - consists of three separate circles. The largest one is 30 feet across and is flattened in a clockwise spiral. The smaller two are 16 and 17 feet across the smaller one flattened in a counter-clockwise spiral and the other clockwise. About 30 feet away lies another 17-foot circle in a counter-clockwise pattern. Forty feet from that is a formation of two circles - one is 27' 9" across in a clockwise spiral and the other 19' 10" in a counterclockwise spiral.

"Nobody had touched it before I got out there," said Vike. "There is one set of tracks out to one of the circles, but absolutely none leading from circle to circle and no other disturbances to the grain at all." The stalks of grain in the circles are all intact, simply bent over, said Vike. Nothing broken, just flattened," he said. "The spirals go in tighter and tighter as you approach the center of the circle - and then they start to overlap a bit in the middle." Nike also interviewed several people in the area who reported a "smoky" smell on the night the circles were first seen. "One lady said the smell was so disgusting they had to get up and close the window, "he said.

Vike's UFO research has kept him hopping lately. He said sightings are up almost 55 per cent this year alone. (for Canada) He's never encountered crop circles before, however. I hate to say it, but I suppose it would be fairly easy to fake them. That's why we take all these samples for analysis," he said. The samples will be tested for "just about everything", including magnetic traces, chemicals, and molecular structure.

"Man made or not," said Vike, "they're still cool."

Crop Circles Appear In B.C. Field For Second Time In Three Years.

Ian Bailey National Post VANCOUVER - Residents of a small northern British Columbia community are thinking close encounters and magnetic forces as they try to explain a series of crop circles left in a barley field.

It's the second time in three years that mysterious circles have been found in a field in Vanderhoof, a farming and forestry community about 900 kilometres northwest of Vancouver in the geographical centre of B.C.

In 1998, 10 mysterious circles were found in farmer Philip Long's field of ripe oats near the airport runway, some up to 30 metres in diameter.

The latest circles -- six that are about seven metres in diameter, were found in Mr. Long's barley field, also near the airport.

Len Fox, Mayor of the community of about 4,000 people, says the new circles are the talk of the district.

"There are all kinds of explanations," Mr. Fox said yesterday. "You name it. Everyone has their own theory."

The new circles were first detected last Thursday by Brent Miskiski, owner of a local six-plane airline, Central Air.

"By fluke, I looked down and noticed the formation: six circles perfectly formed in a field," Mr. Miskiski said yesterday.

The next day, he took his camera up in his single-engine aircraft and took a series of photos of the circles.

"When you look at them, they're not stamped into the field. It's like they're combed into the field."

The circles look as if someone pressed a giant glass or coaster into the crops, crushing them flat, observers say.

Mr. Miskiski also discovered the 1998 series of the mysterious circles, a phenomena that has been linked to everything from aliens to unknown natural energies to "Mother Earth" to nature spirits to psychic manipulation.

Circles Mysterious Return

Crop Watch 2001

They're baack. Three years after a set of mysterious, circular patterns appeared in an oat field next to the Vanderhoof airport runway, observers have spotted six more "crop circles" formed in the flattened grain. Crop circle experts promptly descended upon the town, located about 100 km east of Prince George, soon after the new patterns were discovered September 6, 2001

Canadian Crop Circle Research network field research assistant Brian Vike quickly headed out to collect soil and grain samples. The CCCRN had already expanded its research project into the mysterious shapes that are found more frequently I August and September than any other time of the year in Canada. The new circles aren't as intricate as the ones discovered in 1998

Vike noted Vanderhoof's six new circles weren't as intricate as those discovered back on September 1, 1998 by a local pilot, Brent Miskuski. Those circles ranged in size from 10 to 100 feet (30 meters). The CCCRN says a half dozen crop circle reports had come out of B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba so far this year. The network adds that nine other countries in the world have reported crop circle formations this year. It's not known what causes the curious formations. Some of them appear to be manmade; however others continue to baffle scientists because lab results of soil and plant samples show anomalies that can't be explained. The circles usually appear overnight and in all kinds of weather.

UFO Reports Below.

Vanderhoof, British Columbia and Jack Pine, Terrace, British Columbia.

Jack Pine Flats Terrace, B.C. UFO Sighting And Fisheries Technicians Observe Vanderhoof Crop Circles UFO

Date: March 4, 2002
Time: Approximately: 10:00 p.m.

This witness telephoned me to report what her, and her husband had witnessed after reading an article in the Terrace newspaper about UFO sightings around the north.

She tells me that they had a pretty weird sighting in the area of Jack Pine which is a area just 20 minutes outside of Terrace, B.C.

She also felt that this was very strange as her in-laws were coming over to their home early the next morning, but her husbands father likes to stop at Tim Horton's for a coffee.

When the father arrived at the witnesses home, he told them that he was talking to a fellow in Tim Horton's who had seen a "UFO" the night before and this lady who reported to me had not told the father that they also to had seen a UFO.

She went on to explain that both her and her husband just looked at each other wondering what it could be as they knew what they were watching did not have a rational explanation. Seeing her husband is a professional and works in the scientific field they were both at a loss, and said what else could it be other than a UFO ?

The sighting lasted approximately 20 minutes, and it was a very bright white light with a halo around it. She told me the light moved quite a bit from side to side but always seemed to come back to a center point and stay stationary before continuing to repeat itself. After the approximately 20 minutes time was up it disappeared.

The husband said to her that it could not have been a plane as they don't do things like this. (as above). I asked the witness what direction the light departed to, she said they actually did not see it leave, but said the light just went out.

I also asked if she would be able to give some idea of how big this would have been, she said at arms length the light would have been about the size of a pea or maybe a bit smaller.

The light was high up in the sky she said.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: This is where my ears perked up as she mentioned the crop circles in Vanderhoof, British Columbia and a close friend and biologist (fisheries technician) and her friend, another witness were working on a salmon enhancement project and had seen a large bright object/UFO hovering over the area where the crop circles were discover back in September, 2001. (the night before the circles were formed, this information was a total surprise to me).

It wasn't until two weeks later when the fisheries technician heard about the crop circles, and then she put two and two together thinking if what they saw had anything to do with the Crop circles.

I was told the fisheries technician would wake up every four hours to check the salmon traps to see if they had caught any fish. So the technician and her friend had spotted the object at approximately 4:00 a.m. and said it was so very bright and moving so strangely.

My phone number has been passed along to the fisheries technician so she can fill me in with the details of her sighting in Vanderhoof, British Columbia.

UFO Sat Stationary Then Moved Erratically And Disappeared Over Sunset Lake Topley British Columbia.

Date:  April 4, 2002
Time:  11:50 p.m.

A family watched a bright white glowing object staying stationary above Sunset Lake. It did not make any sound. Due to the overcast sky, they knew it could not be a planet or a star.

After about a couple of minutes the object rose up, moved erratically and disappeared in a southerly direction. They said that this was an event they will never forget.

Bright Object/UFO Seen With Orange Glow Above Houston, British Columbia.

Date:  April 21, 2002
Time:  11:00 p.m.

The witness watched a very bright white light, with an orange glow around it, for about a minute.

It was just above the tree line, northwest of the train bridge over the Bulkley River. She reported hearing no sound, possibly because she was indoors. The date is approximate.

Silent UFO Moves Into The Clouds And Vanished Over Hazelton, British Columbia.

Date:  July 25, 2002
Time:  10:50 p.m.

“I remember that the sky was still sort of pink we were celebrating the other guy’s birthday. It popped out from the left side of the mountains. “Fred” noticed that it didn't make any noise.

I never thought anything of it till he mentioned it so we watched it fly towards the clouds which were low at about 1 mile up. I remember talking to the others about how low the clouds were.

We watched it go into the clouds, it never came out the other side I figured that it disappeared. That is the best that I can remember.”

UFO Pulls Strange Movements Above Terrace, British Columbia (Diagram).

Date:  July 27, 2002
Time:  12:25 a.m.

Hello there Brian Vike, I am a 17 year old Terrace, British Columbia youth, my name is (name deleted). Before I discuss the odd event, I must tell you a few things about myself.

I’m an open minded artistic soul who has a strong belief in science and have always pondered how fantastic it would be if beings from other parts of our universe would pay earth a visit.

Although I always believed there had to be other life out there, I was never truly convinced that they had made contact with earth and its inhabitants until 2 nights ago, when I saw one the most unbelievable, life changing things of my life.

It was 12:25 a.m. on July 27, 2002, when I discovered there was a moving light in the sky, southwest of Terrace, British Columbia towards Prince Rupert, British Columbia at high elevation.

At first I thought it was probably a plane because of the light movement, but as the object began moving further east and higher up into the sky (yet closer in view) I began to realize it was in fact a cigar/maybe pancake shaped object with a flickering bright light moving around the side.

I still wasn’t completely convinced until I noticed how eerily alien its maneuvers were. I am not a stupid person, that was not natural, not human technology, and unlike anything I had ever seen before.

About 2 and half minutes after I had first seen it, it moved from a horizontal position to a diagonal position, but continued to slowly move in the sky frozen in the diagonal position.

The light was still running up the side. Since I was walking home at the time on Lanfear road towards Lanfear Hill, I lost track of the object once I headed up the trail, but the last minute or so that I saw it, it began moving northwest, and its elevation began dropping, then I lost sight  of it because trees on the trail obstructed my view.

I would sincerely appreciate any feedback/advise to help me with this incredibly life changing experience. Thank you for your time, I hope you can make good use of this new information.

P.S. I attached a scan of the original rough details I jotted down the moment I got home.

Unknown Bright Object Flying Low Over Hazelton, British Columbia

Date:  Late July 2002
Time:  10:50 p.m.

“It might be nothing, but during the last week of July 2002, myself and 2 others seen a bright almost white, well lit object in the sky going passed Mount Roche de Boule in Hazelton.

What was weird about it, was that the object was bright and made no sound. It was approximately 10:50 p.m. in the evening, and the cloud ceiling was below the peak of the mountain that evening.”

“It was clearly seen going in a straight line through the clouds, almost like it was heading towards the Smithers area. I thought it was weird because the clouds were so low that if it were a small plane you would see the red or green flashing lights on the tail of the plane and hear the drone of a motor.

Also what struck me was the speed in which the object was traveling, kind of fast for a small plane, and the cloud ceiling was also low. We'd seen it go almost under and thru the clouds and come out again, so the cloud ceiling could not have been that high, maybe 3000 feet?”

Shiny Metallic Cylinder Shaped UFO Seen In The Sky From Houston, British Columbia (Picture And Video Footage - Three Clips)

UFO Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: My wife and I did see the first part of this sighting from our home in Houston, British Columbia.

Date:  August 23, 2002
Time:  7:00 p.m.

The witness was at the kitchen sink washing up the day’s dishes and looking out the window which overlooks their large farm. At the far end of their property she noticed a large bright light heading down behind the trees.

She could clearly see that it was a shiny cylinder-shaped object, metallic in colour. To her surprise, the object then looped around and headed back up into the sky.

The witness then grabbed her video camera and filmed the object. The tape shows a large bright comet-shaped object moving slowly across the sky.

About half an hour later, while finishing up the dishes, she saw another “large, bright white object” rise up from behind the Telkwa mountain range.

The object rose straight up above the mountain and then stopped and hovered. She again grabbed her video camera and filmed it as it slowly moved off to the right, along the top of the range.

At this point she ran out of film and had to grab another tape. When she started filming the object once again it had already reached the end of the mountain range and was dropping down, but still following the contour of the range.

She filmed it until it was blocked behind the trees on her property.

Unknown Objects Film In The Sky From Francois Lake, British Columbia (Picture)

Date:  August 23, 2002
Time:  9:00 p.m.

“Hi, I am just adding my story to your list of sightings. I don't believe in space ships etc., but I did see something I did not understand or have an explanation for.

On August 23rd about 9:00 p.m., just before dark my husband decided he wanted to take a picture of the sunset at the west end of Francois Lake, looking west up the valley to Nadina Mountain.

We drove down to the bridge over the river there and he got out and spent several minutes taking 3 or 4 shots of the sky to the west.

While he was doing this I stayed in the car and watched the sky, thinking that I could see just the smallest sliver of a moon peeking from behind the trees.

When he got back into the car, I said something to my husband about getting the moon in a sunset shot, and he said what?

That is impossible, the moon can't be in that part of the sky what are you thinking. So I said look at that sliver of light next to the trees, it has been there the whole time you were taking pictures, if it isn't the moon what is it?

He asked if it had moved, I said no not at all, then while we were looking at it the light did start to move westward. We both watched and puzzled over this for several minutes then I said that he should try and get a picture of what ever it was. So he grabbed his binoculars first and we spent a couple more minutes trying to see what it was that we were looking at.

Finally as it was moving farther off he snapped a picture of this light that we could not define and then we left. Today we got the pictures developed and there is this light far off, but still obviously incandescing and to our surprise we find two other similar, but more distant lights in the photo.

I will forward a picture to you when I can get it scanned. I see you have had one other report from Francois Lake, can you tell me what that one was about? Bye now, (my husband and I wish to remain nameless)”

Mill Worker Observes UFO Over Houston, British Columbia.

Date:  August 30, 2002
Time:  3:42 a.m.

My name is (name deleted), and I am a life long resident of Houston, British Columbia. I will make this short and sweet. I have been a paranormal and parascience 'freak' for my entire life, so the recent events concerning 'UFO' sightings in the Bulkley Valley have been of great interest to me as you can well imagine.

I soberly took the summer's sightings under careful consideration as they happened this year, not getting too excited, but trusting that things were exactly as they were reported, especially concerning the Quick, British Columbia area sightings which involved people of impeccable trustworthiness.

The morning of August 30, 2002, changed everything in a big way. What I witnessed that morning soberly seared me with a realization that one can only experience with the background that someone like you or I can understand based on many years of solid scientific research mixed with the accounts of hundreds of incidents ranging from the Roswell situation up until the Bob Lazar story that I'm sure you have scrutinized as carefully as I have.

It was Thursday night, which at 3:42 a.m. is technically a Friday morning, August 30. Two friends of mine had driven up from Vancouver to visit, and on my lunch break I had gone to meet them at the scale turn-off to HFP (Houston Forest Products) to give them the keys to my house.

As I returned to work, I parked my car and walked through the 'gate' to the yard leading to the sawmill. This was exactly 3:42 a.m.. While walking through the gate where people walk from the parking lot to the sawmill, I caught something in my vision and saw it.

You surely have been to Houston Forest Products, so you can envision the following description. From the exact point where I walked through the gap in the parking lot fence, I saw 'it'.

I looked up to see a light source travelling at an angle approximately 25 degrees downward from a right to left position above the planer mill, on a constant heading and speed from the burner to the planer roof and out of view. I stopped dead when I saw it, and watched it move in a perfectly straight and perfectly even speed until it was out of view over the planer roof.

Picture the planer as being a building approximately 300 yards from my position at the border of the parking lot. Beyond the planer is a couple of railway tracks and a chip pile, and then a beaver pond and then forest on a hillside.

The light source was clearly beyond those trees on the hillside, but not much. It was an overcast night, so the object was clearly well below the cloud level. As far as the size of the 'object', that is obviously completely dependent on its distance from my position. I estimated that it was less than a quarter mile away, which would have made its size quite small, maybe three to four feet in diameter.

It moved on a perfectly straight line, disappearing below the tree line. As for its appearance, it was a very even light source that was purely 'white' without twinkling in any way. In other words, it was not a small bright source but rather an actual round circle of perfectly consistent light emitting from its entire surface.

As for speed, again it's hard to say as it would be based entirely on its distance from my position. Let me say that what stood out was the absolute 'evenness' of its movement, which more than anything else gave me an eerie sinking in my guts. At that time I knew that it was moving faster than a Cessna would, but far slower than any celestial object such as a shooting star would.

There's not much else to say. After seeing it disappear out of sight I ran inside the mill, and grabbed a millwright that I respect for his intelligence and open-mind. I basically dragged him onto the roof of the sawmill where we stood and scanned the sky for the next hour or so, without seeing anything but not for lack of looking.

With very little thought as to the consequences I told everyone I met that night what I had seen, and at the first opportunity I grabbed a compass specific map of the mill site and plotted out the vector of what I had seen that night. Taking into account a wide margin for the distance from my position, I shaded a plot of land where the object would have been, and the next day dragged two friends out to the area where I spent upwards of three hours zig-zagging around the area on the infinitesimal chance that there would be some ground based evidence of what would have been the point where the light source I saw met the Earth based on it's downward angle.

While I didn't find anything, it is interesting to note that amongst the cattle range land in the area there is a hydro R.O.W. that runs perfectly parallel to and at a proper distance to my viewing stance. It is not unreasonable to say that the light source I saw was directly over this power line, which could bring into discussion several electro-magnetic possibilities for what I saw (even though the object I witnessed would have been 500 feet or more above the power lines when I first saw it).

That's about it, all I can say in summary is that what I saw was quite obviously not a shooting star or satellite (it was 'near' in other words) and it was not a plane or any other kind of craft that could explain what I saw. There was no tail of any kind to what I saw, and all I can emphasize is that not only was the light perfectly even in it's whiteness (no twinkling) it was the steadiness of it's movement that was most striking.

This was not glare from something, this was not a celestial phenomenon and certainly not a craft of any design I can imagine. Even behind the direct glare of many bright halogen lights along the roof of both the planer and the sawmill this light source stood out, so you can get an idea of how bright this was to catch my attention as it did. Feel free to use this information as you see fit, and contact me if you think there is any more information I can provide.

If you have trouble visualizing the area of my sighting, just think of something travelling from South to North about a quarter mile East of the Houston Forest Products parking lot. Also, if you need to discuss UFO's in general, get ahold of me because I assure you I am as educated as anyone can be in this area.

Object As Bright As An Arc Welder Seen From Terrace, British Columbia.

Date:  September 14, 2002
Time:  9:30 p.m.

A man and woman saw a bright white light in the northern sky. As they watched, it grew larger and brighter. The man said that the object was extremely large and as bright as an arc welder, but white in colour.

He stated that, at its closest, it was 3 to 4 times as big as the moon. At one point before the object reached their home, it stopped for a couple of seconds, then continued towards them, passing close by the property.

They watched this large object get smaller and smaller as it flew to the south towards the Kitimat, British Columbia area.

Strange Object Seen Moving Slowly Seen From Houston, British Columbia.

Date:  October 3, 2002
Time:  10:15 a.m.

A Houston resident reported seeing a very strange object traveling slowly in a southwesterly direction. The witness was on her telephone talking with her daughter, she was looking out their kitchen window which faces the Telkwa Mountain Range.

She noticed a strange, pale yellow colored object traveling slowly below the horizon of the mountain range. She said it was completely "round".

The sky was clear, except for some low cloud/fog in some areas, but the location where she observed the object, the weather conditions were clear.

The witness told her daughter to hold on, dropped the telephone and ran outside onto their patio deck to get a better look at it. At this time the object rose up against the sky line, but still continued along it's path, which again was in a southwesterly direction heading towards the Morice River Road.

Orange/Gold Coloured Saucer Shaped UFO Seen Over Granisle, British Columbia.

Date:  October 22, 2002
Time:  10:25 p.m.

Two witnesses were travelling north, just a couple of kilometers south of Granisle, British Columbia when they observed a large glowing orange/gold almost saucer-shaped object hovering right over top the old Bell Copper mine. (The old mine is on an island on Babine Lake, about 1 kilometer directly across from them).

They said it was very low to the ground. At this point they pulled over to have a look and to try to figure out what they were seeing. As they watched the object hover, it would rise up very slowly and come to a complete stop, move sideways then stop and drop down roughly the same height from the ground when the witnesses first saw it.

At one point the object moved out over the lake and stopped for a few seconds, then went back over top the mine once again. The object looked almost as large as a full moon would have looked. It made no sound that they could hear.

The witnesses said that everyone traveling the highway had to have seen it, you couldn't miss it. They said the area around the object, (ground area) was lit up for some distance.

Also due to the brightness of the craft it cast its reflection on the lake. The men watched this event for about 7 minutes before it rose up and left slowly heading north, still at a low altitude, and out of their sight.

Bright Yellow/White Light With Beam Coming From The Bottom Of The UFO Over Kitwanga, British Columbia.

Date:  November 1, 2002
Time:  6:30 p.m.

Four people were returning home from work about 22 kilometers outside of Kitwanga, British Columbia on the Mitt-In-Main Forestry road when they saw a bright, yellowish/white light with a "beam" coming from the bottom of it.

They saw it for about 3 seconds before it disappeared. One witness said that the beam of light was like holding a flashlight and shining it into a fog. He said that the light did not move and then it just disappeared.

--------------------

Bright White Saucer Shaped UFO Seen Over Houston, British Columbia.

Date:  November 4, 2002
Time:  6:35 p.m.

The witness had just walked out of his house and was about to get into his car when he saw bright white saucer/oval-shaped object moving across the sky very quickly.

There was no tail associated with it. What ever it was, was heading in an easterly direction at a rather low altitude (below the cloud cover).

The sighting lasted for about 6 seconds before he lost sight of it as it flew over top a small local mountain. The witness reported hearing no sound from this object.

Unknown Lights In The Sky Over Terrace, British Columbia.

Date:  November 23, 2002
Time:  5:15 p.m.

Five witnesses saw a bright white light in the east, over Thron Hill Mountain. The light initially looked twice as big as Venus, but slowly faded and disappeared after 10 to 15 seconds.

About 15 minutes later, two more lights were seen for a few seconds before blinking out. All the witnesses thought it strange that there was one cloud hanging over Thron Hill Mountain the whole time of their observation, even though it was very windy and the rest of the sky was clear.

Bright Lights Seen On The Bottom Of The UFO Seen From Terrace/Kitimat, British Columbia.

Date:  December 19, 2002
Time:  9:25 p.m.

“From Onion Lake ski trails it looked like one big light. As we got closer to it, there was a number of bright lights hovering over the forest. It was hard to see the shape because the lights were so bright.

It was the wrong shape for an airplane or a helicopter. The passenger in the car counted 6 large bluish white lights on the bottom of the object and there was another row of lights above this, also smaller red and blue flashing lights.

Turned around at the bottom of the hill and went back and the object had disappeared.”

Bright White/Yellow Light/UFO Spotted Hovering Over The Trees At Granisle, British Columbia.

December 27, 2002
Time:  2:10 a.m.

The witness and three other co-workers were doing some last minute work around the logging camp which is located across Babine Lake from Granisle, British Columbia.

One of the workers gave out a loud cry telling the other workers to look about half a kilometer to the north. The men all witnessed a bright, white/yellowish light coming from behind the trees in the distance.

At this point all that was visible was a brightness shining above the trees. After dropping everything the men were doing, watching and wondering what this glowing light was, to their shock a large glowing golden/orange disk shaped UFO with a large halo of white around the craft rose up in the distance and stopped and hovered.

They observed the object for about 10 seconds at the most, which the fellow said, “seemed like a life time”. As the object moved away from their location, heading roughly to the north they did lose sight of the craft quickly, but could still see the bright light, which they figured was coming from the object. After about 5 minutes the light grew faint and disappeared.

Report Three - Remarkable UFO Wave Continues Over British Columbia Canada (UFO Investigator Brian Vike)

UFO Encounter On Highway 16 - Three Frightened Women
By Brian Vike

Location: 3 Kilometers east of Telkwa, British Columbia, Canada on highway #16

Viewing Time: Approximately 90 seconds.
Weather Conditions: Overcast.

Woodmere UFO Sighting: Brian Vike was contacted by a friend who told me about three ladies who went to Smithers, British Columbia, Canada for a days shopping.

Once the outing  was over, the ladies left Smithers at approximately 8:45 p.m. Friday night, February 1, 2002 on their way home to Houston, British Columbia.

It was a dark and overcast night as they traveled the 45 minutes back to Houston on highway 16 heading east. After passing through the small community of Telkwa, British Columbia just 3 kilometers east they all noticed a very bright intense light glowing through the overcast sky.

While they watched the light in the distance, their thoughts were that it was the moon shining through, they gasped as this alien craft poked slowly through the cloud cover descending as it drew closer in their direction.

The witnesses were traveling at a speed of 90 kilometers per hour with the glowing object coming toward them. One of the ladies thought it may be a bomb or something, as she remembered the world terrorist events of recent times. The glowing craft dropped down a head of them just above the tree tops, still moving in their direction and getting closer to the highway.

The closer the light came to them, the larger it grew in size. As the seconds passed, all three witnesses became curious, but frightened as to what this was and had slowed the car to approximately 50 kilometers per hour to get a better look.

The object was almost above the vehicle. The driver of the car stepped on the gas and sped up to put some distance between them and the craft which now turned out to be a "huge" craft. One of the ladies who was sitting in the back seat of the small car turned around and laid her back over the console between the driver and passengers seat, watching the object as it passed over the car.

This witness who was looking up as it passed overhead of the vehicle said, there were 7 very large, bright white lights passing over head with two orange lights at either end. Very shaken, nervous and cold running through them they headed quickly towards home as the object still continued along its way toward the Telkwa, British Columbia area.

They mentioned that other vehicles were on the highway and had to have seen the object due to it's size and brightness. The ladies also said that a pick up truck passed them at a good rate of speed just seconds down the road after this incident.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: I went to interview the three ladies on Sunday night, February 3, 2002 at a friends home. While we were discussing the encounter, one of them got a good case of the goose bumps. She said she was happy that she wasn't alone when this took place because she was so frightened not knowing what this object was.

She also noted that if she had been alone, she would never have said anything about what she witnessed due to not being believed by others. The witnesses drew a sketch of the object which passed over head. It was similar to a boomerang in shape and a "guestimate" of size would have placed this object at about 450 feet from end to end.

I also contacted newspapers and radio stations throughout the area to see if any other witnesses to this sighting had come forward, but was told no one had reported seeing any type of object that night.

I also contacted the Houston RCMP detachment asking if anyone had made a report, but was told no. They did though, take a report from me, asking for the names of the witnesses which I declined to give. I then contacted the Smithers RCMP detachment asking the same question and as far as they knew nothing had been reported to them either, but the receptionist asked me if a constable could contact me to get more information on this sighting.

An RCMP constable did call and I told him what I knew. He then asked me if I would give him some personal information about myself. I agreed, and the RCMP constable asked for my full name, weight, height, color of my eyes, hair color, drivers license number and my street number and mailing address which I was happy to give to him. He told me he had already contacted the Houston RCMP detachment and the Smithers Airport Tower asking if they had any information about what was seen on February 1, 2002.

The Smithers RCMP now has an open file on this case.

Update: This morning (February 14 2002), I checked my email and found that another good friend and excellent UFO investigator wrote telling me of a sighting which took place between January 29 and 31st of 2002 approximately 6 km east of Burns Lake, BC. So something is taking place in and around our area.

Military Exercise Taken Place:

On February 7, 2002 we left Smithers Airport finally after having a flight to Vancouver cancelled the previous day due to bad weather. There was a low cloud ceiling and the Air Canada Dash 8-300 aircraft was not able to make a landing. But we rebooked for Thursday, February 7, 2002 to fly out of Smithers, British Columbia.

Finally the plane landed and we boarded the aircraft. The pilot's voice came over the PA announcing that the planes wings would need to be de-iced before take off.

After all was done and we taxied out onto the runway, the pilot again made an announcement informing all the passengers that we were going to have to make a "slight" detour from our planned flight to Vancouver, British Columbia.

His explanation was of military exercises were taking place "somewhere" along our flight path. Now knowing that two UFO sightings had just taken place in our area, I started to wonder if there was any connection to these incidents or was this just a routine practice planned in advance.

I asked the stewardess what the pilot meant by this minor adjustment in the flight plan and she did ask the pilot and the answer I got was that the military can call for an exercise at anytime.

After I got home from my brief holiday south, I made several phone calls to enquire about any military exercise taking place in and around British Columbia at the time we had left for Vancouver.

I contacted the military Public Affairs at Comox, British Columbia which is on Vancouver Island. I was informed that this gentleman was not aware of any type of exercises taking place at or around February 7 as I was told.

The Public Affairs Officer informed me that he could not understand why the pilot would mention any military exercises occurring as they like to keep a low profile and not interfere with public transportation.

I personally thought his statement a little strange. I then contacted the Smithers Airport flight tower and asked a few questions. I enquired if they were aware of any type of military happenings taking place on the designated flight path to Vancouver from Smithers, British Columbia. They also were not aware of anything regarding this matter. I have to say, I was getting frustrated as I knew something big had taken place and not anyone from the Smithers flight tower to the military owned up that something indeed took place.

"But", when speaking to one of the workers at the airport, I was informed that she was aware of something happening that night on February 1, 2002 as she sat with the control tower personal and they were discussing a unusual event had taken place on the same night the craft was observed.

I was told by the folks at the Smithers Flight tower that there were several locations in British Columbia which the Canadian military use for low and high level flight exercises.

There are two areas around Knight Inlet on the west coast and another which was mentioned was a 1000 square kilometer area around Antahim Lake which got close to my area.

This part of the country is east of the southern end of Tweedsmuir Park (a wilderness area).

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: I am not stating here that there is any type of cover up, but only gathering the facts which may or may not have anything to do with these sightings early in February, 2002.

We do though need to check into any and all ideas which may lead to our military knowing something about these objects (crafts) seen by a number of creditable witnesses.

Update for the February 1, 2002 sighting – Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: There has been another witness who reported seeing something similar and very unusual on Friday, February 1, 2002.

There has been confirmation that a unknown craft was seen by others this night of February 1, 2002.

Today, Sunday, March 24, 2002 I received a telephone call from a gentleman who lives in Smithers, British Columbia who had read an article in the Smithers Interior Newspaper about some of the sightings which have taken place from Kitimat, British Columbia right through to Prince George, British Columbia.

The paper also carried my contact information so if anyone had seen anything strange and wanted to, they could at least find me to file a report for investigation.

This witness told me he had gone to rent a video from the Smithers Hollywood Video store and after he came out and got into his car and started driving down the road, something caught his eye.

He mentioned, due to the lights from the town of Smithers he could see the object rather well. He pulled his vehicle over, got out and watched it fly slowly over and around the town for approximately five minutes. He also told me he thought it was descending and his first thoughts were of a para-glider and said it was the best way he could describe what he was looking at. He also said the object had "one" bright white light on it. He mentioned the light would go bright to dim, but said he wasn't sure if this was due to the object turning.

The witness mentioned that para-gliders often flew off Hudson Bay mountain and I asked him, because of that fact, had there ever been any other sightings of the gliders, he replied "no, not at night".

I asked him if he had an idea what the size would have been of the object. He said it was hard to tell, but went on to say it would have been about the size of a para-glider if you were standing next to it. He also said the height from the ground would have been approximately 1500 feet. It slowly made turns over the town of Smithers. I also asked about the weather conditions at the time of his sighting, and he said it was overcast as did the three witnesses for the Telkwa, British Columbia sighting the same night.

The witness said he would never have mentioned his sighting to anyone as he did not know who or where to report this anyway, until he read the article in the newspaper.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: I was talking to some new friends (I am keeping their identity secret) and they told me that they knew for a fact that there was more than normal air traffic in and around our area after the sighting on February 1, 2002. Their source would not elaborate on what was taking place, but again said there were a number of aircraft patrolling the skies our way. I thought this was very interesting as well.

Another report was filed to me over the same incident, the boomerang craft was observed hovering over the Bulkley River in Houston, British Columbia and was witnessed by a couple of well know business people here in town. These folks also reported hearing a slight humming noise and this is what got their attention to look out the window.

After this one major event took place, throughout 2002 and 2003 triangular craft and other weird objects were seen numerous times flying low over the small towns. The reports again were from creditable people who held good jobs.

Lastly, I should point out that I heard from a person who works at the Vancouver International Airport that he and others were also aware of something happening on the night of February 1, 2002 which involved a UFO.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Hungry Hill Between Houston And Smithers, British Columbia Canada.

Date: Early 2002.
Time:  Evening.
"My wife and I were traveling from Smithers to Houston - I think around 2001 or 2002. (she will remember)

Anyways on the way up Hungry Hill, 10 minutes from Houston, British Columbia we saw a what appeared to be a very large craft, but with very, very dim lights glowing from underneath.

We watched it for a long time as we climbed Hungry Hill, we both agreed it could not be a plane.

I remarked to my wife jokingly that the lights on the craft were so dim and he should hit his high beams.

Well just then the lights (can't remember how many) got super super bright and the craft sped off.

There were a lot of cars of the highway that night."

Usk, British Columbia

Date:  February 1, 2002
Time:  Between 6:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

A man reported that he was travelling from Kitseguecla to Terrace with his wife, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, when they saw a very large, bright light in the sky.

At this point they were near Usk, which is approximately 20 - 25 kilometers south of Terrace. The light was seen sitting close to the top, or just below the top rim of a nearby mountain.

It looked to be square in shape, very glossy and contained red, orange and yellow colours. It did not appear to be moving for the period of time that they watched it, and they heard no noise.

All of the witnesses stated that they had never seen anything like it before. On the return trip, about 4 hours later, the light was no longer there.

South Hazelton, British Columbia

Date:  End of February 2002.
Time:  1:00 a.m.

The witness was outside walking her dog when she saw an object just above the trees, flying slowly southwards. She estimated the object was between 30 to 40 feet in length and red in colour.

She described the object as tubular in shape, but "like a triangle". The side closest to the witness seemed to be transparent as she could see the stars through it.

At one point she considered climbing over the back fence to follow it, but as she was alone she decided it would be better not to.

She lost visual contact as the craft slowly headed south over the resident's roof tops. She heard no noise at all and the puppy did not react to it.

Kitimat, British Columbia

Date:  March 5, 2002
Time:  8:45 p.m.

A 9-year-old boy was outside with his parents, looking towards the north, when he saw a bright light with a red and orange layer, and having a tail.

He said he didn't see it fall to the ground because it disappeared behind a tree. When his dad had him write down what he saw, he wrote "Going down like a ball of fire."

His parents had been sky-gazing in different parts of the sky and didn't see what their son saw.

Time:  Between 9:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

A man went outside to have a cigarette and noticed a very bright circle of lights, almost white in colour.

As he watched, the lights slowly got dimmer and after 5-6 minutes had faded out. "At first they didn't move then they did move going west.

The sky was full of stars and it was very clear and cold out I believe their were 6-9 lights and when it moved they went west very slowly and seem to be going in slow motion."

Houston, British Columbia.

Date:  Between March 18 and the 24th, 2002
Time:  11:30 p.m.

The UFO I saw was in the direction towards Morice Mountain. (Note: Morice Mountain is south of Houston and directly behind the town and runs above timberline).

I saw the object around 11:30 p.m. I think the date was between the March 18 and the 24th. It was a bright white light with an orange glow around it and was hovering just below the mountain line.

I watched it for about 2 minutes before it disappeared.

Time: 4:10 a.m.

The witness, on the way to his workplace, reported seeing a white disc-shaped object traveling slowly above and behind the local super market.

He explained the object was very, very bright.

Also, it was not very high up because the object was traveling below the peak of the mountain seen behind the store.

Houston, British Columbia.

Date:  March 21, 2002.
Time:  7:00 p.m.

Two witnesses were at the Sullivan Pontiac dealership in Houston they noticed, in the sky, a very bright white object surrounded by an orange glow.

It appeared to be above a barn in a field behind the dealership. The fellows got their camera and started taking pictures.

As soon as the “flash” of the camera started going off, the object started to rise up and come slowly towards them! They threw the camera onto the front seat, jumped into their vehicle and quickly drove away.

When they looked back, the bright light had disappeared.

Orange Glowing Object/Light Floated Over Witnesses Home In Chatsworth Ontario

Date:  Early 2000’s (Maybe the first or second)
Time:  Evening.

Definitely had the exact same experience when I was about 8 years old, we just moved to Chatsworth from Barrie, my brother, moms and pops were all in my room when that same orange glow floated overhead, directly over the house it seemed.

It probably was just over a hundred feet in the air, and disappeared over the tree-line.

My whole family was speechless.

This happened in the early 2000's, maybe 01 or 02. But same exact area, heading south

Are we crazy? I think not.

Report Two - Remarkable UFO Wave Continues Over British Columbia Canada (UFO Investigator Brian Vike)

Houston And Telkwa British Columbia

Date: July 29, 2002
Time: Approximately: 10:30 p.m. - 10:45 p.m.

In the following report there is mention of two names out of the 9 witnesses (Only one of these names - Mr. Stewart goes with the July 29, 2002 sighting, Mrs. Stewart has a separate report).

Mr. Gordon Stewart is his real name, and the only reason I am placing his name to my report is because the Interior Newspaper received permission from the witness to print the information, otherwise I would have left the name out from my report.

Although I had permission to use some of the other witnesses names, I choose not to place their personal information in my report, a policy I sticks to.

Location information - Gordon's farm: (Telkwa, British Columbia Canada)

The witness owns 160 acres of farming land, treed with Spruce, Aspen and Pine in areas, with a good number of acres in hay fields. This supports his 57 head of cattle.

The Stewarts's home sits at 3,000 feet in elevation and over looks the Bulkley Valley and Telkwa mountain range in the distance. (Photos I took from Gordon's farm will be added to my report and will be seen on my website at a later date.

Gordon's farm is approximately 6 kilometers off Highway #16. The next largest town is Smithers, British Columbia which is approximately 15 miles west from Telkwa, British Columbia and has an airport for the surrounding areas.

I received a telephone call today (July 30, 2002) from a reporter (Nicole Fitzgerald) at the Smithers Interior Newspaper, Smithers, British Columbia asking if I had received any sighting reports from any of the residents from the Telkwa, British Columbia area.

I told Nicole nothing had come in so far. She went on to give me a brief description of what one witness (Gordon Stewart - a farmer and resident of the Telkwa area) had told her he seen at 10:45 p.m. on July 29, 2002.

I asked her if it would be ok to get his contact information, as I wanted to look into the matter and investigate the report. I received Gordon's contact information.

I telephoned Gordon and set up an interview with him at 8:00 a.m. on August 1, 2002 at his home in Telkwa, British Columbia. When I arrived at the gentleman's farm, the first thing I noticed was the view, from their beautiful home and picture window they had an uninstructed view of the valley below, and across the valley the Telkwa Mountain range stood still snow capped.

I knocked on the witnesses door and a tall well built man greeted me and invited in. We discussed farming as we made out way through his home to the living room and kitchen area. Before sitting down for a coffee and discussing what he saw, Gordon took me into the living room and he sat down in his chair, pointed out the window moving his arm which indicated the location, and flight path of the object. Gordon mentioned that he was going to catch a late movie before retiring to bed. He said I never expected to have such an exciting night.

At this point Gordon's wife joined us both, and we all sat down at the kitchen table and he gave me a description of what he saw on July, 29, 2002.

It was exactly 10:45 p.m. on July, 29, 2002 when I was sitting watching a late movie when I saw a huge, round white/yellowish object in color, traveling at approximately 600 miles per hour fly at low attitude (approximately 300 meters - altitude) through the Bulkley Valley below.

From my distance, he said, the object was approximately the size of a pickup truck, he went on to say the actual size, in his estimation if he had of been closer to it, it would have been closer to the size of a school bus.

The object traveled according to the witness, west to east. There was "no" sound at all, no reaction from his two dogs which were outside at the time the object passed by. I asked if there was a tail trailing it, he said no. It was completely round and very bright.

As I mentioned above, the Stewarts's farm sits approximately at a elevation of 3,000 feet, and the Telkwa Mountain Range sits at approximately 3,500 feet. The object was traveling below the top of the Telkwa range, and below the elevation the Stewart's farm sits.

He also mentioned the object would have passed directly over top of Round Lake which can been seen 2 to 3 miles in the distance from the farm.

Gordon did step out onto his patio to look around, but the object had already departed from his sight.

He came back in and woke his wife (Joanna) and told her what he just witnessed. She for some reason wasn't really surprised. (I will explain below - very interesting!).

Gordon made a call to the Smithers, British Columbia Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) detachment to make a report of what he just witnessed, also wondering if anyone else had reported anything close to what he just saw.

A RCMP Constable told him they had not heard from anyone else. A Constable took the report by way of telephone.

The next day Mr. Stewart telephoned the Smithers Interior Newspaper and talked with reporter Nicole Fitzgerald who requested a meeting with Gordon and took the interview. This is where Brian Vike came into the picture, as Nicole had contacted me.

As I mentioned in the report from Gordon, his wife Joanna was not all that surprised. After Gordon explained what it was he just had seen, thinking his wife may not believe him, she spoke up and said from what you just told me, I seen a similar light two months prior to this sighting. She did not want to tell her husband because she thought he wouldn't believe her.

I asked Mrs. Stewart what she had witnessed, she went on to tell me she was laying in bed a wake with the drapes closed over when a "really bright white light" lit up the whole room.

Joanna said it frightened her, but still got up slowly and approached the window carefully. She pulled over the side of the drapes and looked out to see a large, very bright light. As the object moved very slowly across their farm, it shone a beam of white light towards the ground behind their home in a large field.

She started to lose sight of the object, so she moved from the bedroom to the living room and watched the object fly slowly across their field, across Boundary Road and onto their neighbors farm where she finally lost sight of it. She said the object moved completely in silence and went on to describe the beam of light as if someone held a flashlight upside down pointing downwards. Joanna said it was as if the sun was out, but within a circle on the ground.

Brian Vike Investigators Note: I received a report this year (2002) from a witness south of Burns Lake, British Columbia where there is a small farming community called Grassy Plains which is across Francois Lake.

This witness went on to tell me of a similar object which did exactly the same thing Joanna saw, or described. This may or may not have anything to do with one another, but both reports would be in the right time frame.

I sincerely thanked Mr. and Mrs. Stewart for sharing the story with me, and taking the time to allow me in their home to discuss what it was they saw.

--------------------

Brian Vike’s Note: Below is a report from yet other witnesses who experienced the same object, same night Gordon observed what he saw. Also it came to my attention that the military had been searching the area as well. Also why so many aircraft were flying over the area, you have to understand these communities and small and we almost never see much for air traffic after dark.

So why all the aircraft traffic ? - Why was the military in the area ?

The sighting report Brian Vike received was taken from witnesses at Quick, British Columbia

Quick, British Columbia

Date: July 29, 2002
Time: Approximately 10:50 p.m.

Location Information:  Quick, British Columbia is a very small farming community which sits between Houston and Smithers British Columbia. It is nestled in the Bulkley Valley with mountain ranges running all around.

Today, August 10, 2002 I left my home to interview the next set of witnesses. The drive was going to take some 40 minutes, so I stopped at the service station and gassed up and left Houston, British Columbia at 2:00 p.m. heading west for Quick.

I finally arrived and turned off Highway #16 onto the Quick East Road and drove along until I came to the witnesses home. I was greeted by both the wife and husband, and met their son a bit later. We walked along a beautiful stone path which led to a large patio where we sat to discuss what it was they saw.

The two witnesses who had the sighting were Mrs. (wife) and her son (deleted) The Mom is a retired school teacher and her son works as a Civil Engineer. Two very creditable witness, also very pleasant people.

What I am going to do here is to name Mrs. or the wife witness number #1 and her son witness number #2. It will help me so I do not goof myself up.

Witness #1 went inside her home and came out with a journal she has been keeping for years. She writes down events which are important to her and this one event that took place on July 29, 2002 was one she will never forget.

Their farm sits at an elevation of 530 meters and has a wide open view of the Telkwa Mountain Range and Chicken Mountain which sits slightly lower and in front of the range. The weather conditions were perfect as the sky was clear.

The sun had already set in the west and Mom (witness) was going to meet her son who was over near their greenhouse.

She walked up the driveway and turned onto a small dirt path holding her flash light watching the ground to see where she was walking. This lead to a wide opening in the field where the greenhouse was situated. Just as she reached this opening, she heard her son give out a loud yell.

She immediately looked up and went to shine her light towards her son when she saw, a huge, bright, glowing white/yellowish, almost oval in shape object flying across the sky at a very low level. She said to me, "I couldn't move, I was in shock".

I asked her about the shape of this object, as everyone else who reported to me said it was round. She said in her opinion the object was not quite round, but just off, meaning it was "slightly" oval (even walnut in shape). Or another thing she said, it would be like if you took a round circle and started to stretch it out.

The color has remained the same from all witnesses who reported the object. I asked witness #1 for an approximate size for this bright light. Mom (witness) struggled with this as she did not want to give any wrong information. Her final conclusion as to the size would be, at arms length it was the size of her finger nail, but not across, it would have been length ways.

I asked where exactly it was seen. I wanted to know if it was below the horizon of the Telkwa Range. I was trying to get an idea for distance from the witnesses. Again she was not sure. You have to remember by the time the sighting took place it was already dark, and it is hard to see landmarks which would help determine exactly where the object would have been in relation to them and the distant mountains.

I looked around, and since I knew the path the object took, I thought I would try this. In the direction they lost sight of this object, there are three sets of trees. One group of large trees sat behind their greenhouse which sat on a ledge.

Behind this group of trees there is a drop off, across from here it rises up again in elevation with another grouping of trees which rose above the set behind the greenhouse. Another grouping of timber sat higher up again. So I asked when she lost sighting of "it", what grouping of trees did the object fall behind? She said the last set for sure.

Now I asked, approximately how high above the last grouping of trees was the object. Mom (witness) said it was "just" above the timber, but as they were losing sight of it, the object would have been just a "hair' below the tops of the trees.

Now this gave me something to work with. The last stand of timber sits rather high up at a good distance from where they were standing, approximately 1/2 mile away (maybe more), "but", this stand of timber is below the horizon of Chicken Mountain. So this object shot down the valley at approximately 1 1/2 miles away from them. It was also heading in a southwesterly direction at a quick pace, but slow enough as where the object took 5 to 6 seconds to cross their line of sight.

Investigator Note: She did not see it right away, her son noticed it first and gave out a yell. She looked up and spotted it right away because of the intense brightness and size. My point is, 5 to 6 seconds is a fair bit of time when they had a short space to see the object due to trees blocking their view.

Being so close to it, I asked what kind of sound did it make, they both said, none at all. "There was no noise coming from it". It also was on a slight angle they told me, but very slight. (This makes me wonder if it did hit the ground, as it was certainly very low at this point, if so where?

Also this gives a lot of weight to folks in the area seeing the military vehicles and a lot of air traffic overhead).

Witness #1 said she waited around for a little while with her son watching the sky just in case something else went by, but nothing did, so she went into the house and started calling around to authorities. She called the Smithers Airport who were no help to her, they knew nothing.

She called the Vancouver International Airport, they knew nothing. She even call back east to Ottawa and talked with someone in an environment position, but I am sure they wouldn't know anything anyway. So in the morning witness #1 called the Smithers Interior newspaper to inform them of what she saw.

Witness #2 - Son. This is a brief description in which he gave to me. I am just going to summarize his statement as a lot of the same information is above in this report. It was very large, bright and lasted far longer than any meteor shower. Faster than a man-made object, but slower than a meteorite.

There was "no" sound! It was below the horizon and moved away from until we lost sight of it behind the trees. A slight trajectory towards earth.

I spent a little over two hours with this friendly family and enjoyed this visit very much. What I found really nice about talking with them, we talked about the large fossil find, as they had a bunch of wonderful samples spread across a table outside.

Of course I am interested in this as well. I can say this, our area holds a lot of treasures, and this one is a major find as the fossils cover a very large area, you can bend down and walk slowly along and fill a bucket.

Everything is in perfect form. It was like I was standing at the beach and grabbing perfect calms. There are so many different types of marine life it isn't funny, so I wonder what other specimens the land holds. There is a good write up on this in one of the rock hound magazines.

One more report to come, it is a shorter version as it was a telephone interview. Then a final wrap up on the whole case as it sits for now. I know there is more to do on this, so I will be still making calls, and hoping others come forward if they did indeed see this object.

Houston, British Columbia, Canada - Industrial Park Over Bulkley River.

Friday, February 3, 2002,
Time: 7:00 PM

Location: Houston, British Columbia, Canada - Industrial Park Over Bulkley River

Viewing Time: Approximately: 30 seconds.
Weather Condition: Overcast - Light Snow Flurries

On Sunday, February 3, 2002 another sighting was reported to me which took place in my home town of Houston, British Columbia. There were two witnesses (husband and wife).

While this couple were at their residence which is above their business, the wife heard a loud humming noise coming from outside. She got up to investigate, looking out a couple of windows before she noticed a very bright white object hovering above the Bulkley River just north a few hundred yards from their place of residence.

She called to her husband to come quick and see it. They both witnessed this large bright white object shooting beams of light down towards the river hovering at tree top level. This sighting lasted approximately 30 seconds from the time it was discovered before it shot up the side of the mountain and disappeared.

I was told the speed of this object was incredible to say the least. This couple told me they were going to call the Houston, British Columbia RCMP detachment thinking that the object had crashed into the side of the mountain, but did not as the object continued it's course up the mountain and out of sight before they knew what was going on.

Brian Vike’s Investigators Note: I have visited the area where this craft was hovering, but have not found any trace evidence of any kind. Mind you we had about 4 inches of snow late the night of this sighting. I have also taken photos of this area for my files.

This case is ongoing.

Houston British Columbia, Canada.

July 2001 - A fellow walks into the Houston Food Mart in Houston, British Columbia telling of an object hovering approximately 500 feet above a transmitting tower on Mount Harry Davis here in Houston, British Columbia.

This object was emitting sparks off the bottom side shooting down towards the transmitting tower. This sighting lasted when noted approximately 25 seconds before completely disappearing before the witnesses eyes.

This witness was a hard fellow to track down, but I did finally catch up to him.

Houston, British Columbia, Canada.

January 1999 - Snowmobilers on the Telkwa Mountain Range watched a silver/black disc shaped object hover in the distance. There was more than one witness to this sighting.

Many people spend the winter months snowmobiling in the area due to the amount of snow we receive each year. One of the favorite places to go is the Telkwa Mountain Range and this is where this sighting took place.

My wife and I dropped into a local restaurant for dinner one night, after finishing our meal I went to pay for it and I was asked about the UFO logo on my jacket, and after explaining what it was, the owner went on to tell me of a sighting he had with others.

He mentioned that they all watched, including a couple of tourists this silver/black disc shaped object hover in the distance. He also said it was hard to make out what this really was due to the distance away, but he did tell me what ever it was sat and hovered for some time before vanishing completely.

Houston to Smithers, British Columbia, Canada.

September 2002 - A man driving west towards Smithers from Houston on Highway16 around Grouse Mountain watched a white light streak low over the valley below him. He claims the light was white in color and very bright. The UFO sighting lasted only a few seconds.

Houston to Smithers, British Columbia, Canada.

August 2001 - Husband and his wife watched a large white light (object) east of Telkwa, British Columbia. Telkwa is between Smithers and Houston. The object which was reported was of a very large size and glowing brightly. The UFO encounter lasted approximately 20 seconds before disappearing rapidly to the north.

Smithers, British Columbia, Canada.

September 2001 - A woman who runs a cafe at the (deleted by Brian Vike) mentioned that she witnessed a bright glowing white object about five months ago which shot across the sky, came to a complete stop, and then disappeared up and out of sight. She told me she had not mentioned this before to anyone until now when she talked to me.

Smithers, British Columbia, Canada.

August 2001 - A security officer, person who checks out (deleted by Brian Vike) told me her friends had witnessed a multi colored object hovering for a few seconds in the Smithers, British Columbia area, and shot off very quickly.

UFO Sighting In Telkwa & Houston, B.C.

The Interior News

On July 29, winding down from a day on his Telkwa farm, Gordon Stewart settled into his chair facing two bay windows, overlooking the valley for a late-night movie.

At 10:45 p.m., a bright light flashed by his field of vision, raising him from his chair, astonished at the peculiarity and speed of the sight. After walking onto the front porch for a clearer view, only silence filled the valley sky smudged with light cloud cover. He called the RCMP.

There was no air force activity in the area. he woke his wife Joanna, who had already turned in for the night without hearing or seeing anything. On sharing his description of the round, white light with a yellowish hue, he learned his wife had seen the same light in the same location a couple of months earlier.

"I didn't want to tell him because he'd think I was crazy," Joanne recounted. Earlier that evening at 10.20 p.m. in Houston, a Canfor employee stepped from a forklift to examine a phosphorescent like white ball of light with yellow undertones, which appeared to hover, before slowly crawling across the sky line. The worker called out to two fellow co-workers who caught sight of the glowing light, which grew a tail as it gained momentum.

The phenomenon gained speed towards Tweedsmuir Park and shot out of view over the horizon. "I called them over because I wanted proof that I saw something and that I wasn't crazy," the Canfor employee explained. Despite having two witnesses, the Canfor employee wished to remain anonymous. Despite his wife having seen the same phenomenon's, Stewart was relieved a similar sighting was reported the same day.

Stewart caught the tail end of a movie when he was startled from his chair by an unidentifiable round light streaking across the valley. Combined with his house being stationed at 3,000 feet - Smithers sits at approximately 1,750 feet - and large bay windows, Stewart has an ideal birds eye view of air traffic.

Crazy and UFO are often terms that go hand in hand when trying to determine an experience that appears to be out of this world.

Already this year, over 70 unidentifiable sightings have been reported in northern B.C. Only two days before the Telkwa/Houston sighting, an erratically moving, bright light was spotted in Prince George. Sightings in Prince Rupert and Port Simpson were reported the same day of Stewart's experience. The two days that followed it reports from Terrace were filed on a glowing, cigar-shaped craft and four multiple sightings of an unidentifiable light.

"There is so much going on here it's nuts", Houston, British Columbia Canada UFO researcher Brian Vike remarked. Vike suspects action in space is growing with the number of hits he receives on his UFO website. "Recently, I have been getting numerous hits," he said, "Everything from the National Defense Department to Federal Aviation". He also noted that open information transitions between himself and the National Department of Defense has since clammed up with the publishing of the recent sighting in Telkwa - where three women attested to seeing an unidentified object with bright lights.

"No one wants to say anything and I am kind of wondering why", He questioned. "Is the military running a project we are not aware of? Something has happened I just don't know what ... yet". Many of these speculated extraterrestrial occurrences have been explained away as meteorites, flying exercises, space debris and the result of power towers.

A recent space ship sighting in Smithers turned out to be the planets Jupiter and Venus. Stewart dismisses many of these suspicions in his case. He began by explaining that the object flew in a flat line unlike meteorite or space debris's falling arc pattern. Planes might be a credible explanation, but because no sound was detected and the size of the light - the size of a pick up truck from the distance he sat at - flew so low, a plane wasn't a logical solution in Stewart's mind.

According to Central Mountain Air, there were no late night flights except for a training run July 29. Northern Thunderbird training was up between 10:07 - 11:04, however, a Central Mountain Air spokesperson saw no connection between the occurrences. She speculated that the tiny Cessna 185 would not emit a bright light of that magnitude and its engines would be heard at a close proximity.

Although a comet spotted the same evening would solve Stewart's mystery, its glowing green light, arc-shaped flight and Hudson Bay Mountain location did not pair up with what he saw - leaving Stewart questioning, "What the heck was it?" For Stewart, the speed of the light was the most notable. "If you had blinked, you would have missed it, it was that fast," he said. He assessed the light reached faster than the speed of light at over 650 miles per hour. Stewart is well acquainted to gauging speed, he assessed, after driving dragsters that reached up to 200 miles per hour. As to whether he believes in another life force traveling through the universe, Stewart has always believed since reading space comic books as a kid, that people on earth weren't the only ones out here. "There's too much on earth not to disbelieve," he argued, noting other phenomenon's such as the Pyramids. "I think there was someone before us."

Despite Stewart's open mind towards other life forms, he talked himself through other possible explanations, but came to the same conclusion: "I knew I saw something out of the ordinary".

Although highly skeptical, the Canfor employee agreed his sighting was something more than an every day occurrence. "In my mind it looked like a meteorite," he comforted himself, but wavered as he turned the 20 second experience over in his mind. "But, it was like no meteorite I've ever seen. I've seen meteorite showers before, but they never looked anything like this. I really don't know what it was."

UFOs: To Be Or Not To Be.

By Nicole Fitzgerald
The Interior News

After an article on UFO sightings in Telkwa and Houston was published in last week's edition of The Interior News, reports on UFO sightings are flying in and credibity of the sightings are gaining momentum.

"I can't keep up with all that is going on, " said an excited and exhausted Houston UFO researcher Brian Vike.

A flurry of phone calls, on-site interviews and investigative research has left Vike with little sleep. Since the papers hit the stands, five witnesses came forward, claiming they saw the white ball of light Telkwa resident Gordon Stewart glimpsed on the evening of July 29.

After reading the paper, Quick teacher Dina Hanson called Stewart to share the details of her sighting, which she recorded in her journal the day after her experience. Her son, civic engineer Ryan Hanson also saw the object, which partially matched Stewarts's description.

The Hanson's sighting also took place July 29, five minutes earlier than Stewarts's sighting, traveling in a southwesterly direction from Quick towards Telkwa.

Both observations commented on the awe striking brightness and size of the light; the white and yellow hues and soundless travel at a speed, which exceeded the propulsion of a man-made object. Some of the differences between the two incidents was that Dina's light shape was an elongated circle opposed to Stewart's round one. Dina also noted a slight downward trajectory to her object, unlike Stewart's parallel flight pattern.

However, Ryan introduced that because the object was moving away from his mother and himself, the object may have just appeared to be dropping because of their perspective. Dina originally attributed her experience to a meteorite sighting, but after a phone call to a professor at the University of Northern B.C. revealed that meteorites produce sound, Dina is uncertain. "I am pretty cynical about things like UFO's, " she said. "But because there was no sound, I think it is remotely possible it was something else."

A Smithers family of late night hot tubbers comprised of both adults and children also contacted Stewart, sharing a similar story, adding that the light engaged in a series of loops. Smithers resident Dan Derbyshire was also added to the list in an unrelated sighting. However, he wanted to support those stumbling upon these unexplainable phenomenon's. "Sometimes people feel they are the only ones (that are seeing unusual sights)," Derbyshire said, "But I thought I'd let them know, they aren't alone."

Like many other UFO reports, the edges of reality expand with the number of incidents reported as viewers digest science fiction's fanciful imagination with tangible physical experiences. "It was not what I classify as a flying saucer," Derbyshire noted of the craft, which reminded him of a metallic 40-gallon barrel, heading towards Houston at an estimated 300 kilometers per hour. He stated he is a UFO believer, but dismissed his incident as an American flight exercise in one breath while pondering over why he heard no sound in another.

His experience neither fits H.G. Wells' War of The Worlds where aliens employ mass destruction in tea- cup-and-saucer shaped crafts nor did it fit with the characteristics of a man-made aircraft. Reality and rationale collided as he attempted to interpret what he saw. Unlike a plane, there were no wings on the ribbed object and its flight was soundless, Derbyshire noted. Unlike many UFO sightings, the object did not emanate a white glowing light nor assume the regular saucer form, he added.

Vike surmises Derbyshire's suspicions are correct after a series of phone calls attributed the sighting to a military reconnaissance drone. Although if this assessment is correct, many more questions arise about what is going on for Vike. "A secret military exercise?" Vike questioned. "Who knows". Vike's suspicions are rising as reports of military trucks are detected around Houston and the Telkwa High Road. Vike and his wife also saw and heard the hum of large turbo propellers of military type crafts flying over Houston on August 8. "Something is going on," Vike alleged. Despite the couple both seeing and hearing the two military crafts, the Smithers air tower told Vike there was no air activity in the Houston vicinity.

Stewart is heartened by the additional reports coming in. "(People) can't say I've lost my marbles," Stewart laughed. "There are too many people who have seen it. I am not the only one."

Other Sightings that took place throughout our area.

Terrace, British Columbia Canada.

Date:  November 23, 2002
Time:  5:15 p.m.

I had a telephone call from two separate witnesses who live in the Terrace, British Columbia area explaining that they just had witnessed some strange lights over Thron Hill Mountain in Terrace, B.C.

From Terrace you would be looking east towards Thron Hill Mountain. (Brian Vike’s Note: There were actually 5 people who watched the lights in total, but I only have talked with the two who called me on this matter).

The weather condition at the time of the sighting was good, clear but rather windy. Also in the area where the lights were noticed there are some large towers close by.

One of the witnesses said the object, or bright light was approximately double the size of the planet Venus. White in color. All of the witnesses watched the light for approximately 10 to 15 seconds until it grew smaller in size and disappeared. (Brian Vike’s Note: I found this rather strange, all of the witnesses mentioned in all the clear sky there was a large cloud which hung over the mountain where the lights were spotted.

Seeing if was so stormy (windy) the witnesses all found it weird that the cloud stayed in it's position and did not move until all the lights were gone. BTW - In this report I have only mentioned one light, but it was approximately 15 minutes later after the one light left, two lights showed up).

Approximately 15 minutes later the witnesses claimed to see two balls of white light over the same area where the single light was sitting, it watched this for a few seconds before the lights blinked out.

Kitimat, British Columbia.

On Tuesday, March 19, 2002, at 7:35 a.m., a Terrace man "was on my way to work in Kitimat," a town 100 kilometers (60 miles) southeast of Prince Rupert, B.C. "when I watched 'something' coming out of the city (Kitimat) with flames behind it."

The witness "described his location as being near the Kitimat River Bridge, heading towards Kitimat and driving down the one straight stretch of road which leads away from the river. He saw the object more or less directly over Kitimat.

He saw "something streaking down with yellow, blue and red flames behind it, trailing smoke."

Terrace, British Columbia.

On Monday, March 4, 2002, at 5:30 a.m., a male body builder was doing his cardio workout before heading for his place of employment. According to ufologist Brian Vike, as the man "was looking up towards the sky, when all of a sudden, it seemed like a star shot across the sky and came a complete stop."
The witness "said that it did a loop in the sky went straight up and disappeared." He described the UFO as "a very bright star with a blue-green-red colour to it."

--------------------

Vanderhoof British Columbia.

On Thursday or Friday morning, February 28 or March 1, 2002, the witness saw a white and extremely bright light in the direction of Sinkut Mountain at 5:30 AM from her kitchen window.

Her first thoughts were that it was just a logging truck. The witness looked through binoculars and saw a pure bright white light for quite some time. The light would move, then stop, leave and return. The light would zip around so quickly that it could not have been any aircraft or logging equipment.

Two witnesses traveling on Langston Road heading towards Prince George at 5:45 a.m. also saw the white light. Canadian UFO Investigator Brian Vike determined there was no logging or construction equipment working the mountain.

Remarkable UFO Wave Continues Over British Columbia Canada (UFO Investigator Brian Vike)

From Brian Vike’s UFO Files.

From Brian Vike – Canadian UFO Investigator (The Vike Factor)

Vike Factor Note: The below sighting reports come from different communities throughout the northwestern part of British Columbia Canada.

These sighting reports are just tiny example of what Brian Vike investigated throughout these areas.

Field, Trees, Home, And Barns Bathed In This White Light From UFO At Telkwa, British Columbia, Canada.

Date: May 19, 2002
Time: Approximately: 1:05 a.m.

I spoke today (September 5, 2002) with two people. One was the witness who watched an extremely bright light (a large mass) flying very slowly over their farm, and the sister of this gentleman who was the one who informed me
of this event.

The witnesses sister told me about an event that took place back on May 19, 2002 on her brothers farm in Telkwa, British Columbia, Canada.

The sister lives in Smithers, British Columbia and works for a well known business and of course wanted to remain anonymous. She filled me in with a little information, in which her brother had told to her after the May 19, experience, and how it effected him mentally after seeing what he saw.

I asked her if she thought her brother might talk to me about what happened, and she said she would call him, it wasn't long afterwards when the witness did call.

One of the first things he asked was, would I have an explanation to what he had seen.

The witness went on to say that he went to bed around 11:30 p.m. on May 19, 2002 and was woken up approximately an hour and a half later due to his dogs barking like crazy. He mentioned it was normal for them to bark at coyotes
which are around the farm howling at night, or other wildlife which crosses their fields.

The witness said the dogs also were acting up more than normal, and they did sound rather stressed at something, so he got up out of bed to see what was bothering the dogs, also telling them to be quiet.

As he walked through the kitchen towards the back door, he noticed a bright glow of white light coming in through the kitchen window. (Investigator’s note: I know exactly where his property is, as I was just out in the neighborhood just recently interviewing witnesses from the July 29, 2002 sighting. There are no street lights in his area and the occasional light from a neighbor's farm in the distance.)

He went outside looking to see where this light was coming from. Over the field and approximately 1000 feet up, a large mass of white light was slowly moving across the sky heading in a northwesterly direction. I asked him, how fast was the mass of light moving, his example of the speed was, it moved as fast a small Ultra-light aircraft or close to it").

The witness said the whole field, trees, home, and barns were all bathed in this white light. He watched this for a few seconds, then called his pets and ran back into his home.

Now when I talked with his sister, I asked if he reported the sighting to anyone after it happened, such as the RCMP in Smithers. She thinks he did, so I am assuming he mentioned this to her, but when I asked him, he said he had not told anyone, other than his family. (Brian Vikes Note: When I dropped by the RCMP detachment about a month ago, they did not have any other sighting reports on file, as I asked. Mind you, I knew they had one other report as they took the details off of me and opened a file on it.).

The witness did not want to go into it much more, but his sister did tell me that he was a mess after the encounter.

She said the whole family had not believed in UFOs to speak of, but did always wonderful if there could be some form of life out "there". She also said it took him months to finally deal with it, and get back to a somewhat normal routine.

Thank you to the folks for there report.

Brothers Observe Bright Light At Low Attitude From Burns Lake, British Columbia Canada.

Date: August 22, 2002
Time: Approximately: 10:45 p.m.

Brian Vike’s Note: I still don't have a lot on this sighting, but this is the little I received from the newspaper. Two brothers were outside when they notice a bight white object at a low attitude moving slowly across the sky.

One of the brothers went next door and had his neighbor come out to watch the object. It took approximately 10 - 15 seconds to pass from their view. According to the newspaper, the brothers said it was no plane they knew of.

Thanks to the newspaper for this report.

Truck Drivers From Arrow Transport Observe Stationary UFO At Meziadin Junction, British Columbia

Date: August 27, 2002
Time: N/A.

I ran into a lady who works in our local Post Office, she asked if I had received a sighting report from Meziadin Junction, British Columbia. I told her no, so she gave me the little she did know about it.

Three witnesses, two Arrow transport trucks hauling concentrated mineral from the Huckleberry mine which is located approximately 80 kilometers outside of Houston, British Columbia.

The witnesses spotted a large bright object in a stationary position below the horizon of the mountains. The object was ringed with different colored lights.

The drivers from both trucks pulled over to the side of Highway #37 and turned the ignition off and sat and watched the object for approximately 10 minutes before it rose up slightly and moved down the valley and out of their line of sight.

I am still trying to get a hold of the witness for a more detailed report.

Two Objects Traveling Together Spotted Near Prince Rupert, British Columbia Canada.

Date: August 30, 2002
Time: Approximately: 11:35 p.m.

A witness reported seeing two objects traveling together at a low level out from the Prince Rupert harbor. The objects stopped at one point, made a quick turn heading northeast toward Khutzeymateen Park.

----------------------------

Two Transparent Green Balls Of Light Seen From Kitwanga, British Columbia Canada.

Date: September 4, 2002
Time: Approximately: 9:15 p.m.

A witness telephoned me last night and told me what he had seen. The witness watched a couple of green transparent balls of light traveling in a southwesterly direction at a low level.

I asked the witness if he could give me an approximate altitude the green lights were at. He guessed they could have been around ten thousand feet or so.

Silver UFO/Craft Outside Of Houston, British Columbia

Date: Approximately: September 22, 2002
Time: N/A. (daylight sighting)

Brian Vike’s Note: I have no more information on this report, and hoping the witness will contact me.

Brian, I just came back from (deleted by Brian Vike) office and I did hear there that one of the Planning Forester's father, who delivers coffee in Northern British Columbia did have a daylight sighting of a silvery disk around Houston, British Columbia.

This sighting took place 14 days ago. I confirmed with the Planning Forester the correctness of the statement and he asked me to forward your phone # which I have done already.

Are you aware of this sighting?

Nine UFO Disks Spotted Heading Towards Kitwancool, British Columbia

Date: N/A
Time: N/A

Brian Vike’s Note: Waiting to do a telephone interview about this report). I did carry out a telephone interview and have it in my files.

A respectable "Gitskan man did witness 9 disks along side of Highway 37 going towards the village of Kitwancool, British Columbia.

She did not mention when this event took place. I will try, if you are interested, to set up a phone call with her for the next weekend.

Moose Carcass Found Inside 20 Foot Scorched Circle At Northwestern British Columbia.

I talked with the second witness by way of telephone, this is the strange one where a moose carcass was found in the middle of a 20 foot scorched circle.

I am going to meet with him soon, hopefully before the snow flies and go out to the West Fraser area to see what is left.

A friend had called me last week to ask the witnesses some question about this case, asking if the tree trunks were burnt, needles, or leaves up high on the trees may have been also burnt, or scorched.

From what the second witness told me, all sides of the tree, meaning the side of the trees which faced the circle were indeed burnt all the way down from the top, to the trunk of the trees, but again, only the one side.

Now I know from some earlier cases I have read, the area sometimes will have no growth within the circle, due to some strange phenomena happening.

So I am hoping this may be the case with this one. Also he said there were the cut marks on the bones of the animal. (I guess anything could have made these, from teeth from wild animals eating the meat, etc..).

But it certainly is worth another long run to check it out, and maybe grab some photos of the area in question. BTW- This second witness is one of the "big" bosses of a major forestry company here in the north. So it sounds good.

I will keep everyone updated on any results on the outcome of this interesting case. And if indeed this did take place, their should be still a lot of signs on the trees, and hopefully on the ground.

Bright Orange/Red Object Zig Zags Across The Sky Over Surrey British Columbia

Date: December 16,2014
Time:  6:30 p.m.

Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: round
Colour of Object: orangey, red, bright like the sun.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was standing in the alley way of where I live, having a smoke. I noticed in the distant sky a bright large circle, oval shape, which caught my eye.

I thought it was a plane for a moment, and thought to myself, planes do not have bright headlights and don't fly this low normally.

I suddenly seen the object, move sideways to the right very quickly and then starting to do a zig zag pattern (moving to the right and to left) then suddenly it shot straight up and vanished.

I remember this object being extremely bright and the way it zig zagged, unbelievable.
