Lights Shot Off Over Port Alberni British Columbia

Date: August 1, 2011
Time: 3:45 a.m.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: ?

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was coming home after taking my kid to work and was heading north on Cherry Creek Rd. I saw a white light blink above the Beaufort range and thought it must be a satellite or a plane, then it disappeared and dropped down lower, this time in front of the mountain just above the tree line and flashed again.

I thought to myself ok, it's a plane, then it blinked red, and I thought ok it's definitely a plane, but then it started flashing green. Now in all my 50 years of living here I've never seen a plane blink both red and green lights.

Then all of a sudden it zig zagged a little lower and shot backwards leaving a white light streak behind it which immediately disappeared. I've seen fighter jets in action and believe me, no aircraft on this earth can move that fast! It was definitely a UFO. The next day we had tons of aerial activity above the area and the following day as well.

7 Glowing Object Lights Over Honey Harbour Georgian Bay Ontario

Date: August 5, 2011
Time: 10:30 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 7
Shape of Objects: Glowing orange orbs.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Just put the kids to bed and walked out onto the deck overlooking Georgian Bay, I immediately saw at least 7 bright glowing objects low over the horizon tom the south.

Not moving whatsoever, some disappearing and then reappearing, very bight orange in color, they just hung stationary there for a few minutes and then all of a sudden, poof they disappeared. Very strange, these were not aircraft.

At one point the formation looked similar to the big dipper. I did see a few boats out in the water heading in the direction of the formation, someone else must have seen this as well.

Strange Bright Light Over Mt. Tolmie Victoria British Columbia Canada

Date: August 24 2011
Time: Approx: 9:45 pm

Number of witnesses: 2 = a group of Japanese tourists.
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Unknown shape.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: At approximately 9:20 pm, my friend and I were viewing the Victoria City lights from a small mountain viewing area known as Mt. Tolmie. A flare fired from off shore near the Esquimalt Lagoon which caught our attention.

We watched from my friends vehicle, as 2 more flares were fired in the same area. A bright light appeared in the sky shortly after. We assumed it was a coast guard helicopter coming to investigate. However, we quickly realized that the light was much too high to be a helicopter and it was traveling due east away from the Esquimalt Lagoon location which was located to the southwest of the light and our vantage point.

We both commented on the peculiar wobble or shimmer of the light which was slowly approaching our location. We decided to exit the vehicle to get a better view of it as it approached. I heard the sound of a jet engine and boldly stated that it was just a plane. However, when we closely scanned the night sky, we were both able to locate a jet, which we recognized easily by it’s flashing lights and jet engine noise.

We watched as a second jet, flew over top of the object now directly over our heads. It was at this point that we were able to determine that it wasn't a satellite as there were many satellites to compare it to as they were also viewable overhead at the same time. It's altitude was much to low to be one and it made no sound so we ruled out the possibly of it being a plane or helicopter.

The object was a bright light, the brightest light in the sky by far. It had also drawn the attention of a group of Japanese tourists who watched along side of us. As the light moved farther to the east, the light just went out!

That in itself was strange because at the point that it disappeared, it was still closer to us than when we first noticed it approaching from the west. We both agreed that the light didn't just fad! e away a s it got farther away, as the light was brilliant and constant the whole time....it just went out, disappeared from sight.

I tweeted the event hoping to get a response or a confirmation on what we had just seen. It was all very strange and can say that I've never seen anything quite like it to say the least.

Unknown Lights Witnessed Over Toronto Canada

Date: August 26 – 27, 2011
Time: 11:30 p.m. to 12:15 a.m.

Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Circular.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: At about 11:30 pm on Aug 26th, 2011, I sat on my verandah and noticed a flickering light in the sky, looking north-east, with flashing red light. As I'm near Downsview airport, so I didn't think too much of it, except that this light was much higher than most planes, and I noticed that the light was not moving.

I ended up watching it for about 45 minutes and saw a number of unusual things. The light flickered, but was not stationary. It seems to hover in position, but from time to time would rapidly adjust, usually by moving to the left.

The size, brightness and even shape of the light seemed to vary. At times it appeared small but bright, like a star. More often, it was quite bright and seemed to vary in shape - often looking more cigar shaped, as if lights were being shone from its sides. There was a bit of a luminous glow when this happened to also aid that impression.

More unusual were the colored lights. At times I could clearly see a single red light at the top of the white light, that flashed like a slow strobe light. Other times, I could see a series of red lights, sometimes quite sharply defined, that then seemed to spin, usually clockwise.

At times a blue light shone, that seemed more like a spotlight in quality, larger than the red lights, but not lasting as long, with fewer strobes. The strobes were less frequent though, and didn't last as long. Even less frequently, there seemed to be small green lights, that flickered, then spun, mixed with blue lights, then ending with red lights, like a spinning band of light, around the top then middle of the flickering white light.

Then the lights would stop and it would just be a flickering white light for a while. After about 20 minutes, I noticed what almost looked like sparks of light shooting off the main light, though they were quite dim. I saw about 5 white spin offs.

Then, close to midnight, I clearly saw a red light come off the main bright light in a bit of an arc, going down and to the right, then stop. The movement was almost exactly like a spider jumping off a web. Then the red light "line" stopped. I saw a few more, larger white spin offs, but not as big or obvious a trail as the red light.

After a few minutes, a saw another clear red light "line", but this started from above the white light, starting from the top left, and a red line of light came down and met the main flickering white light. The location was almost exactly opposite where the red light had come down earlier.

Again a few more "sparks" of white light appeared around the main flickering light over the next few minutes, but none as bright, and most did not show a light trail. After a few more minutes, I saw what almost looked like a fat lightning strike coming down from the center of the flickering white light (no sound).

It came down about the same distance as the red light earlier. A couple more "sparks" after that too. What an eerie feeling, once I saw the offshoots from the main light. After that light show, the main light seemed to wane for a few minutes, and seemed to be farther away. After a short while the blinking red lights and occasional blue lights, sometimes strobe, sometimes spinning, began again. This time the lights were harder to make out, and more dim, as if from further away.

It was starting to get a bit too cool for me by this time, and so I went in. I sent an email to a local news site, (cp24) with some of these details, and then went looking online to see who else may have seen this strange phenomenon. I was so relieved to see that someone else had seen something similar!
