Bright Light Moves Quickly Through The Sky Between Vanderhoof And Prince George British Columbia

Date: December 14, 2010
Time: Approx: 6:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Between Vanderhoof And Prince George British Columbia.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: to far away to tell.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was driving on Hwy 16 East from Vanderhoof home to Prince George. I was about half way, maybe closer to Prince George. The sky was very dark and clear. I looked up to enjoy the stars, and I saw a very bright white light far away in the sky.

Almost like a comet passing through the atmosphere, but just a bright white light passing in one straight line horizontally north to south, with no tail. Just one bright light zipping by faster than anything I've ever seen.

Two UFO Sightings Near Okatokes Alberta (Blue Light And Green Ball)

Date: November 16, 2010
Time: Between 12:00 and 1:30 a.m.

Hi Brain, my name is (removed) and I am emailing you in regards to the bright bluish light that you said was seen near Okatokes on November 16, 2010. A friend and I were driving to work in High River the night of the first snow storm that hit that area. Since we drive snowplows we were driving to High River late into the night the visibility was very poor due to the snow, so we were traveling at a low speed.

We were near Okatokes when all of a sudden the sky lit up, like it was 10:00 in the morning and I could see everything. This happened for about a second and a half to two seconds. Neither of us had any clue to what it could have been, and before we knew it, it had happened again at this time.

We had no idea what it could have been. There were probably only 2 other cars on the highway at this time and couldn't figure out if anyone had seen this except us, but didn't know how they couldn't have. We were waiting for it to happen again and about 10 minutes later it happened once more, but this time it seemed to stick around for about 3 to 4 seconds.

During that time period we looked out the car window to the west and it looked like there was a huge green ball in the fields that the light source was coming from. I didn't hear anything about this anywhere and asked some people about what I had seen and the only rational explanation that we could come up with was some kind of gas explosion, but even then it didn't make sense. I kind of brushed it off and forgot about it until I saw a shooting star and it reminded me of that night.

When I went to look it up, I came across your website and thought I would email you and see if you maybe had any explanation for this sighting. I am very curious about this and you are the only one that seems to have any information about this.

Please email me back at (email address removed) Thanks.

PS - The only difference about my story and the one I read on your website it that you said that it was seen on the 16th at 6:45 am I am not sure the date that I saw this, but I know it was between 12:00 and 1:30 am the night of the first snow fall in Calgary and I guess the first snowfall in the area around Okatokes and High River.

Additional Information: Hi Brian, no worries about the delay, yea man the sighting was something else. I had never seen anything like it before, let alone hear about anything like this either. We started driving out the High River on the 16th of November 2010 late at night, so when we actually saw the green ball in the field it would have been between 12:15 - 1:00am which would now be the 17 of November 17 2010.

So if you hear anything about anyone else that had seen this, it would be great to hear that I am not going crazy. Like I said, we weren't the only car on the highway at this time, probably 2 other cars that I saw and I know they couldn't have missed something like that. Please keep in touch. Thanks.

UFO Interferes With Railway Trains Controls 2 Hours North Of Fox Lake Manitoba ?

Date: December 10, 2010
Time: After dark.

Location of Sighting: 2 hours north of Fox Lake Manitoba.
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Upside down cup.

Update: I made some calls seeing if maybe I might find something over this sighting report, as of now there were no problems on the railway at the date and time given.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Two hours north of Fox Lake Manitoba engineers on a train seen blue and green lights hovering over, or off to the side of the tracks. Then it shinned really bright lights over the train and lit up the surroundings.

They reported also seeing red, blue and green lights before it shot up in the sky. It messed up their satellite signals and the train couldn't move for couple hours. Passengers and conductors saw it too!

UFO Bursts Into Light And Still Hangs Over Nanaimo British Columbia

Date: December 16 - 17th, 2010
Time: 9:30 p.m. –1:00 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Nanaimo British Columbia.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Disc.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Last night I was on the deck of my apartment talking on the phone to a friend it was about 9:30pm when I noticed what looked to be a low flying satellite coming in my direction flying SE direction towards Vancouver from the west coast of the Island.

I said to my friend on the phone, there's a UFO and he started joking around, I then got off the phone and the object was still moving in my direction, it then stopped and was just floating in one place. I called for my wife who came out and was watching as well.

We both watched it and then it started to move north toward Lantzville, it went up and into an arch pattern and then gave off a huge burst of light and was travelling fast and jittery and then stopped further down my line of sight just over the building across the street, but further toward the back end of Mount Benson area.

We watched for a few minutes and could tell it was moving constantly in small increments, but stayed in one place or area. We went inside and I got my spotting scope.

I set up my spotting scope on the dining room table by the window as I could see it from there just over the top of a building across the street, but off in the distance.

I am not sure what it was, but it didn't just stay in one spot, even for a few seconds and only travelled out of the scope and back in to where I had it focused.

It moved up down back and forth, had 4 lights across it and was shaped like a thin disk from what I could tell. It was very bright and the colour of a sparkler or a camera flash, but constant even in the spotting scope. It wasn't very large and you could never really focus on it to get a clear distinct look at it as it was too bright and not very big.

The object was still doing it’s thing off in the distance when I finally went to bed at 1:00am.

Not sure what it was, but it wasn't a plane, helicopter, weather balloon, Mars, or the Moon.

Hope to see something like that again.

Total time I and my wife watched it was about 4 hours. So I am not sure what to make of that and I am sure others seen it as well. I will be watching the news and combing the internet for a few days to see if anyone else seen anything.

Beam Of Light Witnessed Over Wynndel British Columbia

Date: 1990s
Time: Evening.

Hi, I came across your website regarding the beam of light in B.C. in 2003. In the 1990's my family saw this same thing and I was reminded about it earlier today while at a bookstore. I was leafing through an old book called Ogopogo written by Mary Moon in 1977 and in the back there was a chapter about other Okanagan phenomena.

One was called the 'Okanagan Arch' which exactly describes this beam of light. I was intrigued that it was a recurring albeit rare event so I thought I'd look it up online. I was surprised that your website was the only one I found that mentioned it. In the book, the author tells that this beam of light has been reported throughout the years, 1900's, 1920's, 30's etc. and at the time of writing it was still a mystery as to it's cause.

Sincerely.

Bright White Light Over Whitby On Rossland Road West Towards Oshawa Ontario

Date: Spring 1994
Time: Approx: 11:00 p.m.

Hi Brian, I wanted to report the same strange observation by myself and three other witnesses in Spring 1994 at night on the corner of Thornton Rd N and Rossland Road West.

I was driving in Whitby on Rossland Road West towards Oshawa, Ontario. We could see all the nice lights over Oshawa as we where still in Whitby.

I was driving towards Oshawa and we where just about to make it on the corner of Thornton Rd N and Rossland Road West before driving down the hill towards Oshawa when we noticed a round bright white light move extremely slow in the sky and moving downwards.

It should have been past 11:00pm as we watched this for about 15-20 seconds. We where all trying to figure out what it was and then I shouted out to the other three people that it must be a UFO! All of a sudden it faded out in a fashion that the light shrunk and zapped upwards in the sky like a fallen star, but rather going upwards in the sky. Now how can an object so “big”, become so small very quickly and zap upwards in the sky?

As another witness wrote on your site of what he saw on Friday night, June 25th 2010. I will quote that the same details below happened the exact same to use 4 witnesses.

‘’When we first witnessed this slow round white light. It was at it's brightest point for about 10-15 seconds, until I shouted to the witnesses it was a UFO. As after I shouted out to the witnesses. I noticed it was starting to fade after ten seconds. The total time watching it would be about 15 -20 seconds.”
