Shape of objects: Like a satellite would look.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was staring up at the night sky, when I noticed two points of light traveling across the sky. They were definitely not planes, as there was no sound or flashing lights. In fact, they appeared to be exactly as you would expect a satellite to look. What I found unusual was the fact that there was two of these objects traveling together. At first they looked to be fairly close (if I held my hand up to the sky, they were about two fingers width apart), but as they moved, they gradually moved further apart, as if they were tracing two arc patterns away from one another. I eventually lost sight of both of them, trying to follow both of them was difficult! I noticed one light was dimmer than the other.
I have seen satellites on many occasions, but always thought they traveled in a straight line across the sky. These definitely seemed to be moving in two different arcs. I don't know if the paths of satellites ever come close together like I saw last night, and if so, it could explain the sighting. Whatever they were, I've never seen anything like it before! I would be interested to know more about satellite orbits and if anyone has ever seen anything like this.

St Thomas, Ontario UFO Appears To Jump Around The Sky

Location of Sighting: Outside my house.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Appeared to be Circular.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was standing outside my back garden having a cigarette and star gazing at the same time and this light just appeared, alot brighter and closer than any star and was moving in an incredibly weird fashion. It didn't move in straight lines, but seemed to almost jump around in the sky. The only way I could describe the UFO is that it was a circular ball of light, orange/bright white and it didn't have a trail of smoke etc., behind it. I thought that it could have been a meteor, but I've never seen anything move like this object did.

Location of Sighting: Front Yard of House (Facing East).

Shape of objects: N/A
Full Description of event/sighting: Object appeared to be a satellite traveling from west to east. After we watched it for a few seconds we realized it was not traveling in a straight line but changing direction. It was too high up and too fast for a plane and I've never seen a satellite change direction in this manner.

Southwest Halifax Peninsula, Nova Scotia Bright Light Falling From The Sky

Location of Sighting: South-west Halifax Peninsula, NS.
Number of witnesses: 2

Shape of objects: Roundish.
Full Description of event/sighting: My roommate and I watching TV, we saw bright light falling down past the horizon behind the grain elevators in southwest Halifax Peninsula. Larger than a shooting star, brighter too. It was quite brief.

Victoria, British Columbia A Large Oval Shaped UFO (Lights Or Windows)

Location of Sighting: Victoria, B.C.

Shape of objects: Circular with row of lights.
Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian
In 1963 I lived with my parents and brothers in Victoria. For those who know the area, we were just to the north of Mt Tolmie , near the University of Victoria. That area, with the exception of the solitary mountain, is flat with lots of visible sky.
This event took place early on a quiet summer evening. After dinner mother had walked a few blocks to visit a friend. My younger brother and I were the only two at home. He was 13 at the time. The sky was clear, there was no wind and the sun had just set so it was still light, probably around 8:30 or 9:00 P.M. My brother decided to also walk to the house where mom was visiting. I think he was motivated by her baking. She always had cookies for him when ever he visited.
I was having a peaceful evening at home when the phone rang. It was my mother calling from her friend's house. She quickly told me to go outside and look south toward the mountain. I rushed to the window just in time to see a large oval shape disappear over the mountain top. By the time I actually focused on it, it was gone.
Apparently as my brother was walking to meet mom, he saw a large oval shaped silver object quickly coming from the north. It was similar in shape to a blimp but much larger. With a outward curve in the center on the top and bottom it resembled two soup plates joined at the rims. It also had a row of lights or windows that appeared to encircle the middle where the rims would have met (if it had been two soup bowls). It was at an altitude of maybe 500 feet. It was definitely low enough that it did not reflect the recently set sun. There was no sound and it was moving slightly faster than a small plane.
He wasn't sure if he should run home and tell me or keep going and tell mom. Being a bit closer to mom's friend's house he kept going and burst in the kitchen door telling them to come outside. They did. Mom took one look and rushed back in to call me. Although her viewing was very brief she described the object the same as my brother did. So did her friend. It was in sight for probably a total of five minutes. That would be the length of time for my brother to run a block, show mom and then for mom to phone me and for me to look out the window.
That was all any of us saw. If anybody else did as well, we never heard. We also never heard that any kind of blimp was in the area and in those days that would have been a news item. It is even today.
Oddly, my brother now has very little memory of what he saw. He is even a bit uncomfortable talking about it which is quite out of character. He is a little confused by that as am I. It was quite an event at the time.
Perhaps this will jog the memory of anybody else who might have seen what we did. I could be out a year on the date but I think I'm correct on that.

Over Lake Ontario Bright Yellow Glowing UFO Comes Out Of The Lake

Location of Sighting: Over Lake Ontario.

Shape of objects: Round glowing ball.
Full Description of event/sighting: The object looked like a big full moon, a really bright yellow glowing ball that came out of the lake. It looked like the sun setting, but was rising at night. It took about one minute to get about 45 degrees in the sky. This object was huge and went behind a big cloud. I was looking east from the beach right behind Hutches Restaurant with my daughter and nephew. My daughter is 10 and nephew is 11.
