Bright Orange Light Flying Over Pennsylvania

Time:  Approxamtlty 10:00 p.m.

This past Saturday I was visiting my girlfriend's family in Pennsylvania. I'm not sure of the town right now. But it got to be late in the day, around 10:00 p.m. and we were in the driveway. We were setting off fireworks and looked to the sky in the distance and saw an orange light which looked to be hovering in the sky.

At first it looked like it was getting closer to us, but it never got much closer. The light started to fade slowly and then it was gone. We never heard any sound coming from it and we were all certain we had never seen anything like it before.

It hung around for about 3 or 4 minutes total. There were about 6 or 7 of us seeing it.

Bright Orange Light Flying Over Fife Scotland UK

Time:  Approxamtlty 9:00 p.m.

With it being fireworks night, surely plenty of people must have seen this bright orange light, travelling very quickly with no sound, nor aircraft navigation lights. Travelling North to South over Fife at approximately 9:00 p.m.

I was an aircraft engineer in the Navy, and this was not an aircraft that I know of...plus no flashing white, port or starboard navigation lights.

Bright Orange Light Changes Into Dark Colored Disc Over Corsham Wiltshire UK

Time:  10:00 p.m.

Hi, I was outside in my garden tonight at 10:00pm on 2nd July 2011 having a smoke, when I saw a bright orange light coming towards me, (towards the south of me) as it started to come parallel at me.

The light dimmed and became a black disc shape which was moving at relatively steady speed, which then appeared to pick up speed, but went over the trees before I could see anymore.

It was definitely not a plane or a helicopter. I could hear no sound at all. Thanks.

Bright Orange Light Appears To Be On Fire Seen From Hamilton Ontario

Time:  Around 5:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Good Afternoon, on the evening of November 11, 2011 around 530 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., my son and I were driving down the Kenilworth Access and noticed an orange light out over lake Ontario up in the clouds (we were looking northern from our location). 

At first I thought it was the moon peeking through the clouds, as the colour looked like a nice bright orange, but we found the moon in a different spot and we stared in awe at this light as it seemed to increase in size to a ball of orange and started to look like an exploding ball of fire with some white and yellowish colours as well, with a blazing trail behind it, it headed straight down from the sky towards the lake.

My son being 15 immediately thought it must be an airplane exploding and falling from the sky.  I had no idea what it was, as we watched it fall from the sky it seemed to lose its speed/ size and brightness as we approached the bottom of the escarpment, it seemed to vanish somewhere over the lake.

Would this have been a meteor?  We’ve been watching the news ever since and there has been no word of any airplane exploding, so we figure it must have been some sort of natural occurrence, like a meteor entering the earth’s atmosphere or maybe a UFO.

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated….I’m glad I seen it with my son, or I would have thought I was going nuts!

Bright Orange Light And Orange Trail Over Port St. Lucie Florida

Time:  Approxamtlty 3:00 a.m.

Hello Brian Vike My name is (name removed), I have seen what you have described on your website and at about 3:00 a.m. this morning, me and 3 other people witnessed a bright orange light with a orange trail behind proceeded across the sky.

Then it stopped producing the orange trail when we went to get a closer look. All of the sudden it dimmed, then got brighter and started curving to the left towards the outer atmosphere and slowly got brighter and then disappeared.

We live in Port St. Lucie, Florida and if you could please contact me back with more information about this I would greatly appreciate it.

I witnessed a bright orange light above the Wester Hailes area of Edinburgh today around 19:45/20:00 13/10/11, it were really bright and sometimes moving pretty fast, others seen it to so no doubt you'll be hearing more details about it.
