Yellow/Orange Colored Lights Witnessed Over Victoria Vancouver Island British Columbia (Case Solved – Chinese Lanterns)

Date:  March 16, 2013

Time:  Approx: 10:30 p.m.

Number of Objects: 4-5
Shape of Objects: Single round lights.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: As bad as it sounds, we were pre-drinking for a party at a friends house. I had two beers at this point and our group was heading out to head to a house party.

We went outside and one individual in our group "joked" about some UFO's in the sky. I looked up to see four lights in a line, yellow/orange in colour, in the S/E of the sky travelling in an Eastern direction (our location was approximately Selkirk and Arm).

In my head I went through every possible logical explanation first, but the lights were individually moving up and down and at different rates of speed, though keeping a fairly steady line.

To my memory, as this was almost 4 hours ago now, the lights slowly spread apart to create almost a circle, then individually (though almost in pairs?) left in a south-eastern/into the sky direction, up and disappeared from sight. I say in pairs because, two would make the move in a close period of time and disappear, then the other two followed suit.

I tried to film on my cell phone but the footage is garbage at best, and filmed late in the ordeal (about in the formation of the circle?). The whole moment was less than two minutes long from when our group stepped outside, but I wish we had left earlier so I could have see more or later so I would have seen nothing at all.

My mind is racing at the possibilities and I feel like I'm the only one of my friends that is taking this seriously, even though I know they would vouch in a heartbeat.
I hope I'm not the only one that saw this.

30 Orange/Red Lights Observed In The Sky Over Victoria West Victoria Vancouver Island British Columbia (Case Solved – Chinese Lanterns)

Full Description of Event/Sighting: At approximately 2300hrs March 16th, 2013 we walked out my door facing west in Victoria West and saw groups of approximately 8 at a time of bright lights in the sky.

The lights were orange/red in color, and very bright and fast moving. Several lights seemed to stop for periods of time and resume movement, with no change in altitude. Others executed 90 degree turns. Approximately 30+ lights moved across the sky over a period of about 10 minutes.

UFO Rushes Up Out Of The Water Then Returns At Rimouski Quebec

Date:  July 1977

Time:  Midnight.

Number of Objects: 1 then 9.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Hi, my name is (name removed) from Montreal. I want to tell you my story regarding seeing UFO. I apologize for my English, I am not very good but you will understand.

I was 18 years old when I saw my first UFO. We were in 1977. Back then with my sister and a friend, we were cycling and we had stopped.

Suddenly, a red ball came under the sea and stop in front of us, got out of the water and we heard swoosh.

It got bigger over top of us, red like a sun, but no light, no warm. It was there looking at us, and it shut off to make a fire trail with the noise, like a fireworks, but it stopped again and lit up like a ball.

It stood up in the air for few seconds and then plunged back into the sea making again the swoosh sound.

It flew away slowly, then faster and disappeared.

The second event was the year after, around midnight, I was with a friend when we saw 9 lights in the sky.

Very far, we thought they were stars, but not at all. They were moving slowly and then moving together, one split and moved again slowly then faster.

They were making patterns in the sky. Then one by one they got a slow speed and got faster then disappeared. It was just amazing. I never thought I would see more UFOs.

I am from a small little town called Rimouski in Quebec.

The sky is always dark and we see very well in the sky.

We report the event to the police, but they thought we were not serious.

I said they were laughing, but deep inside I know they were UFOs. Anyway, this is my story.
