Full Description of Event/Sighting: I witnessed an orange light passing from South to North in the night sky over Hamilton. I'm not sure if it was a plane or not.

Orange Lights Appear In The Night Sky Over London Ontario

Date:  January 1, 2013
Time:  After midnight.

Hello Brian, like many others it seems, I saw orange lights last night. Dozens in fact.

I'm in London, Ontario, at the NW edge of the city, with a field across the street, miles away from any revelry and the sighting occurred shortly after midnight.

I was spending a quiet night alone, stone cold sober and went out for a breath of fresh air while chatting with a friend on the phone.

The lights were travelling from the NW heading ESE. As I said, there were dozens, most singly but also smaller clusters, of twos, threes and fours.

It was completely overcast here and they were well under the cloud cover. The lights were solid, no blinking or flickering, there was absolutely no sound and they were moving too slowly to be planes.

My next thought was that someone had released balloons with lights attached but the direction and speed was steady with no deviation, eliminating that possibility.

Fireworks are easy to rule out due to the "behavior" of the lights as already mentioned.

The procession, for lack of a better term, continued for several minutes.

A quick online search this morning lead me to your blog and I was surprised to see so many other similar sightings reported from multiple regions that I definitely had to share this. Regards.

Orange Lights Observed In The Sky Over Tofino Vancouver Island British Columbia

Date:  December 31, 2012
Time:  Between 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Hi there, read the reports of UFO sightings in British Columbia with interest, I would like to add what my husband, my son (adult) and I have seen.

On December 31st, between 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., my husband is outside on our back veranda when he sees 12 evenly spaced orange glowing orbs flying in a circle (I did not see this).

He calls me to come outside and I see six orange glowing orbs evenly spaced in a vertical line, there was no noise they just hovered for a few seconds when they were joined by a single orb from a south south west direction (Chesterman beach).

I went back into the house to grab the phone to call my son who lives upstairs in our house. I go back outside and my son looks out of the window and all three of us see 3 orange glowing orbs in a horizontal line, 2 disappear and the last one shoots straight up very fast.

These were not weather balloons or flares or fireworks.

3 Orange Glowing Objects In The Sky Over Thompson Manitoba

Date:  December 31, 2012
Time:  Approx: 10:30 p.m.

Hi there,I have been looking for an explanation online for the event I witnessed with friends on December 31/2012, but have yet been unable to find anything except similar bewildered people like myself.

At approximately 10:30 p.m. CST some friends and I were walking along a street in Thompson, Manitoba when we noticed three orange glowing orbs in the sky in a rough triangular formation.

They were not blinking like an airplane, and they moved slowly across the sky.

We stood and watched them for a few minutes, each of us in turn trying to rationalize what they may be. As they moved across the sky the orbs shifted into a line formation.

We waited to hear the typical airplane noise but it never came, even after the lights had disappeared on the horizon.

I was able to capture a low-quality video of the event on my cell phone. I tried to attach it to the email but the file was too large.

In my search for an explanation, many similar descriptions have been dismissed as Chinese paper lanterns being set adrift in the sky. I firmly believe this was not the case in the event we saw, the lights were far away yet seemed quite large.

I consider myself a fairly level-headed person and am not normally prone to belief in the paranormal, but since I have not yet been able to find a satisfactory explanation, I thought I'd submit this story.

Object Falls Out Of The Sky With Long Tail Over Burnaby British Columbia

Date:  January 3, 2013
Time:  Approx: 12:30 a.m.

I just saw someone's post on your site about this so I thought I would add my sighting to it as well. I thought what I saw was at about 12:30 a.m.

Basically I saw something drop straight down out of the sky with a huge white light and very long tail.

I didn't feel anything or hear anything but just saw it fall to earth. I am not very good at judging distances but I thought for certain it hit on the mainland. Maybe it was so big it just looked like it was close? If anyone else saw it, I'd be curious to hear about it.
